Swift Transportation Services truck driver

This is for truck 163109. We were driving and beside the truck turning onto route 100 in pa when the truck came into our lane. We hit the horn and he did not stop, forcing us into the other lane. Luckily the car in that lane saw me and slowed down. We quickly reached a traffic light and as we pulled up on the left hand side of the truck, we realized that the truck driver had earbuds in and therefore could not hear me. There was no acknowledgement that he almost hit us. This was very scary and very poor driving. These actions are also illegal.

Swift Transportation Services interstate driver

The driver of the truck 173119 almost caused a catastrophe today on highway 29 south in whitening Iowa. He cut another truck off while changing lanes because he was in such a hurry that he couldn't stay in the right lane. He is an unstable driver with no patience and drives reckless in winter conditions because he is in a hurry. I read all the complaints in your reviews and it seems you are a careless company who hires people that don't care about human safety. I know your drivers have caused accidents where death is involved and I hope and pray the government shuts you down because your professionalism is [censor].

Swift Transportation Services swift semi truck driver in truck #136619 in columbus, oh on 01/17/18

Hello,

This driver, # 136619, entered 670 headed West at around 7:35 this morning. They were merging onto 670 Westbound from East 5th Avenue. I did not see him/her at all on their approach, as their approach was extremely fast on the right, merging into my lane (the far right lane) of traffic. He/she forced their way into the lane I was in, coming up on my right at a high rate of speed, probably at least 40 mph. As they came up and merged as if I wasn't there, I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting the semi. I hit my horn to let them know they were out of line.

As the merger, you are supposed to merge where a space is available, not speed up and ignore traffic that is in the spot that you want. I have been driving to work on 670 for 10 years now, and this is the first time my vehicle (2010 Toyota Highlander) was nearly hit by a semi truck that seemingly didn't see me, or perhaps chose to speed up and cut me off while they were merging onto 670 traffic. I am glad my brakes did their job and I didn't hit the semi.

Swift Transportation, please ensure that your truck drivers are adequately trained. This driver put my life at risk. This is not a driver that should be on the road with a semi truck.

Swift Transportation Services truck driver

Your driver almost killed me. He was in the right lane of a 4 lane highway. 205 in a Tracy CA going West. I was in the right middle lane. He literally switched lanes without even looking not to mention without a blinker and I had to slam on my brakes which cause my small Elantra to fish tail. He didn't even know because like I said. HE PAID NO ATTENTION. He has no regard for others on the road.

Swift Transportation Services trucker

I can't believe you hire drivers that can't read or follow street signs. Had to come to a complete stop on 635 to avoid being plowed from behind when he had more than enough warning that the lane ended and then was exit only for 175E, knowing he needed to stay on 20. Then the back of his truck had finger writings in dirt not once but twice, "just the tip"... wtf is wrong with your drivers?

Swift Transportation Services truck driver

We were almost put into the cable system by your driver about mile marker 25 on I-65 in Al. My husband had to lock it up and your driver went into our lane for no reason. There was nothing in front of him. I have his DOT no. And a picture of him. He never even knew he did it. That's the closest I ever pray I am to colliding with an 18 wheeler . Swift Transportation Services swift bus drivers in wa state

Bus drivers closing the door before passengers get on while they are scanning their swift card. Especially when they come 2 or 3 minutes early and they just take off. I was looking at him straight in the face and yet he drove off after I scanned my card. I waved my arms and yet he didn't stop; this has happened more than once and should not be overlooked.

Swift Transportation Services terminated

Since you guys terminated me the last Friday in Sept. How will I get my stuff from my wreck truck. You say I'm a high risk driver but I seen worse from other swift drivers who are still driving. I am homeless now because that truck was my home. I am a veteran with.a service dog too. I told them since June truck needed fix but no one listened to me

Swift Transportation Services one of their drivers

I am complaining about the driver that is pulling trailer number 548929. I am a driver for JB Hunt and I am currently waiting in line to load at Amazon in Moreno Valley. The line goes around the block and your driver made a u-turn in the middle of the street and jumped in line in front of me and everyone else behind me. I spoke to your driver and he refused to move. I wish that your drivers could be as considerate as I'm sure they expect us to be.

Swift Transportation Services truck driver marcus campbell

The night before he got his own truck he was at the bar drinking then he got behind the wheel and was driven while he still had alcohol in him. Then again on 9/18/17 he was drinking again & then got behind the wheel of his truck. Marcus Campbell also does cocaine. He keeps a bottle with him to drink so that if he is called in for a drug test he drinks it so he passes. I brought him a bottle of detox to yesterday when he was at the swift transportation building in Kansas City, 9000 Woodend Rd, Kansas City, KS 66111. He is not a safe driver and he is behind the wheel of a truck.

Swift Transportation Services driver

I am a 35 year truck driving veteran. I currently drive for Crete Carriers. I was at my fuel stop in Prescott, Arkansas last night. It was very crowded so I picked a lane and stayed in it. BIG MISTAKE. I got behind a Swift because he was at the fuel island and there was not a truck in front of him so I figured it wouldn't be long. After 15 minutes sitting behind him, he finally came out of truck stop with food. Then, he decided to clean his windshield (which he should of done while fueling) then, he got in his truck. About ten minutes later, he finally pulled forward. I went ahead and fueled and cleaned windows then got back in my truck. Waited another fifteen minutes in the fuel island waiting for him to leave. Finally, he started pulling out. All the way to the interstate, he drove about ten mph. When we got on the interstate, I passed him to get his truck number. Lease operator truck # 151392. Swift does not care about who they hire. You need Truck Drivers! Not rookies fresh out of school leasing trucks who doesn't know [censor] about trucking.

My name is Adam Huffman and my truck was hit by one of your drivers. She ( the driver) said someone would be in touch with me and this was last Friday night is Sedalia mo at hwy 50 and 65 hwy interception. Would like to have my truck fix. Swift Transportation Services reckless driver

driver of swift 18 wheeler swerved right in front of us. Didn't put his blinker on.. literally almost hit the front end of the car. My husband pressed the brakes just at right time or he would have clipped us bad. IThank goodness. It's raining and he's being reckless. Not even looking .. just swerving in and it out. Car behind us had hit their brakes and end up swerving and almost wrecking bc of it. All bc swift truck #110487 I'm sorry have all respect for truck drivers. But not when they are being idiots and could easily hurt someone. He did it again to someone else ahead of us. It happened about 10 am on highway I20 in between Longview and Tyler

Swift Transportation Services driver of truck 153530

At gopher resources you driver nearly caused an accident because of his own stupidity. My truck was in line ahead of him and beginning to back up off the queue line. After 15 to 20 seconds after I initially started backing against the bay to enter the building your driver began unloading. I was in the middle of pulling ahead to straightensure the truck when the stupid bast hit the gas and turnblind side backing right towards me. He knew I was there and had watched me begin backing. Despite this he waited less then 30 seconds before speeding backwards at me. I had to slam my break, stop my pull up a review it into reverse blind side through the building opening to avoid an accident. He then spent the next 3 or 4 minutes with 7 pull ups to complete the same maneuver he gave me less then 20 seconds to complete and no pull up. I will be calling and making a compliant by phone to.
Your [censor] driver endangers my job because he can not wait his turn and forces me to blindside back through a narrow opening into a building I have never been in before so he can screw around doing the same maneuver for freaking minutes with over half a dozen pull ups.

This is a total scammer i met at tagged by the name of richard alex.i knew it was to good to be true.but the moment he said that he sent bags, waches etc for me i knew something was wrong.he said he sent the stuff for me with swift transportation and that they will make contact as soon as the package arrives.than swift mail me and said that i have to sent "only $300" tru western union or money-gram.

Swift Transportation Services reckless driver

This incident happened on Tuesday July 18th at around 1:40pm on the street of California inRedlands, ca. The truck plate # P407362. As the swift truck driver and I drove down the street he repeatedly sped and cut off many other vehicles as well. As he was going into my lane and I was honking but he didn't seem to care and pushed me off the road anyway. I would like him off the road because that is not safe especially around a water park with a lot of children.

Swift Transportation Services parking in no parking area

We have been nice and not said anything to you regarding the stupid things your drivers do but today was the last draw. At a pilot in Georgia we finished fueling but were unable to leave the fuel aisle because one of your drivers parked in a no parking area. Even after we asked him to move he didn't, instead he got out of the truck and went into the building giving us dirty looks as if we were in the wrong. I have pictures of the trailer with its number and a picture of the truck but did not get the truck number. I am sure you can find who has trailer number SWFZ132176. This occurred on June 21, 2017.

Swift Transportation Services employee care

I don't work for Swift (Thank God), but my Husband does (unfortunately). Since day 1 this company has been the absolute worst. 1st, my Husband was sent to a closed down hotel, not to mention he was sent to orientation on the wrong day. 2nd, he was made to pay for the hotel (because it was the wrong day) and still, 6 weeks later has not been reimbursed. Then, once on a truck with his trainer, every single delivery resulted in a 2-4 day layover.. making the 200 hours needed to go solo, nearly impossible to finally reach. THEN, once his 200 hours was complete and he tested out at your Denver terminal, the trucks offered for him to drive were absolute JUNK. 1st one wasn't even detailed (full of trash and other driver remnants), 2nd one smelled so pungent with urine he nearly got sick, and last but not least the truck he was forced to take turned out to be infested with bed bugs! SERIOUSLY? Whoever is in charge of inspecting trucks at the Denver terminal to see they are fit for driving, deserves to be fired. Now, my poor Husband is covered in bites and can't sleep in his own bed. From day 1 of my Husband working for the Swift trucking company, it has been nothing short of rediculous and pathetic on Swifts part as far as how they take care of (or rather LACK in taking care of) thier employees. You should be embarrassed of yourselves. Those are real, hard-working men and women...HUMANS... that are working for you. NOT NUMBERS.. Get it together Swift.

This person claims to work for you. If he does not I am sorry I wasted your time. If he does I dont think he represents your company in a positive manner. He posted this on a public forum for truck drivers. I would not hesitate to let him know what I feel about his post should I met him on the road. Swift Transportation Services swift truck driver

Swift truck #081924 was traveling down a 2 lane dirt road in Evanston Wy. I saw him coming and taking up the entire road, so I pulled off into a wide area of the road to let him pass. Once the truck approached my vehicle he continued to move closer and closer into my lane so I could not get past. Once he got almost to my truck I honked realizing he wasn't paying attention and he slammed in his brakes and threw his hands in the air and started yelling.
I needed to go forward but because he came almost all the way into my lane I couldn't move forward. So I had to reverse my vehicle until the semi could get back into his lane. I'm not sure if he was intoxicated or if he was texting and driving or just not paying attention to the road. But if I had not of been paying attention this truck driver could have taken my life because of his lack of paying attention.
