just want to tell you about a little experience I had at the Columbus Academy. To start out I arrived at the Columbus Academy Sunday August 20, 2017. I was told how great your company was . I had the worst experience ever. I will never recommend your school there to anybody else. My first day at the Academy was Monday August 21st 2017 it was the worst experience of my life. My inspector was a guy named Al. He was totally rude and disrespectful. I feel like I was discriminated of my race. To start out they had me pay $65 for physical and then turned around and said that I didn't need it. The instructor also talked down on me and made smart remarks as he said " if you pass my class". From day one I felt like he was rude and didn't like his job. On August 21st 2017 my first day of the Driving Academy I told the manager Brian Watkins that I was ready to go home because I didn't feel comfortable with that guy. We got the cancellation contract papers ready and Brian tried to talk me into staying and trying another day so that's what I did when I got to the Driving Academy this morning it was the same thing he was rude disrespectful and still talk down I never read a map before he tried to make me read a mad and was like you should learn that in elementary school. I feel like this is not a way to talk to somebody that's trying to learn something. Then on top of that when I said I was ready to go Brian Watkins got mad and told me that I had to leave the school or he was going to call the police so I left the school and proceeded to walk back to the hotel it was over 30 minute walk in the pouring down rain. my phone got wet all my clothes got wet my shoes got wet all my important information got destroyed I'm going to have to get everything as in Social Security card, birth certificate all of that Once I arrived at the hotel the lady behind the counter told me that Swift had called and informed them that I do not stay at the hotel anymore and that I had to have a police escort to get my items from the hotel which I didn't understand because I didn't do anything today in class while trying to ask a question he told me up maybe you're right but I mean he's supposed to be the teacher the instructor he's supposed to know he's supposed to tell us the correct answer and he's not supposed to be sarcastic about it I mean we are learning to get our CDLs this is really a life is not like a life-or-death situation but it's a life-or-death situation because if you just try to push us through then we're not going to learn and we're going to be out here in a road and millions of life's are going to be on the line. Once he stopped helping me as an Al stopped helping me with my work in the room I just put my head down and started looking up bus tickets on my phone to come home Once the police came and escorted me in and got my stuff from the hotel I had to wait on the cab to go to the downtown Columbus bus station Once I arrived at the bus station they said there was no ticket for me to go home so I called and talked to Wendy and she asked me to reply to this message the ticket didn't go through so I had to process my own ticket and pay for it out of pocket after I pay the $85 for the driving course that I did not get to do the bus ticket to get home was $30.93 which I feel should be reimbursed because I tried to stick it out once again I just want to say how my experience was today in the other days at the Columbus swift Academy. oh Monday I was at the Driving Academy from 6 a.m. till after 6 p.m. I was never one toe to pack a lunch or prepare myself a lunch or anything like that I'm told me there's a food truck in the back once I went to the food truck the food truck is closed. He laughed and said ha they're closed today. I just feel like I was told was that up I came 2 hours from home to stay at a hotel where I understand I had to walk to go get food and other things but I didn't know that Ill be treated this way .. I would love to speak to somebody from the corporate office nobody from the Columbus with Academy the corporate office. once I was in the cab on the way to the Columbus Greyhound bus station I was talking to the cab driver and she said her husband went to the Swift Driving Academy Columbus and had the same problem with the same driver instructor. before I left this with Driving Academy walking back to the hotel Brian Watkins said he had order me a bus ticket home which come to find out he didn't order anything. I would love to somebody will call so they can talk to me or if I could call and also put a complaint in let my voice be heard. but the end this thing on a good note I finally got on the bus after I pay for it and is on my way home I will never ever ever tell anyone about the with Academy in Columbus Ohio. I also called Gary Grayson my recruiter yesterday and let him know what was going on I also called him this morning to let him know what was going on he told me that he was on the road and could not handle it right now

Hello im at the Columbus Ohio terminal today while doing a back the instructor told me to back on in then when I was backing in he got all mad because I was backing in then told me to get out of the truck. I got out without using 3 points of contact which made him even more upset so he said I was getting written up. I admitted what I did was wrong he then grabbed my shoulder firmly and let go walked a bit turned to me and started throwing punches towards me where I had to kinda push those punches away.i told them I'm headed back to the hotel for the day because it made me upset that he was touching me when I told him I didn't like him touching me he seemed like I was in the wrong. Anyways I went and told Brian he didn't really seem to care much but asked him if I could go back to the hotel and still continue the program he agreed.

lol, welcome to swift. I could write a book on my experience! I'm stubborn, I stuck it out, welcome to Al, he is by far the absolute worst trainer there in Columbus. That is hard to accomplish, because the others are pretty bad also. My experiences are far worse than yours, my only choice as to where I live was Swift in Columbus. It gets worse working for swift, I have heard 1000's of complaints, but you will run into a good employee here or there, its extremely rare though. But yes, the Columbus terminal is a complete joke, but I was able to use it, through my sheer determination, to squeek through and get my cdl, it was almost a miracle.
