Swappa Best Buying and Selling Website

The rules and requirements for sellers on this website are the best in the industry. The description and photograph requirements serve both buyers and sellers know exactly what the transaction is about, it is as clear as if you were directly doing the transaction. Also their customer/seller support is exceptional. I have purchased several items through Swappa, but I have used the Website mostly as a seller. I have sold about a dozen items. I love the fact that I can communicate with prospective buyers and discuss offers with them, and the amount of information available for me to price my items with a fair price. I have been a seller for a few years now, and I really appreciate the thought that the developers have dedicated to their product descriptors and requirements, it guarantees that the transactions go through with peace of mind. Of course, it is also good for sellers the fact that they charge the lowest fee per transaction in the whole industry. I have researched and considered other websites but will never sell anywhere else the type of products that I can sell or buy on Swappa. I cannot say enough about how much I love their Website. It is THE BEST!

Swappa Safest way to buy used phones

Swappa is a wonderful service. I've bought three phones through them in the last two years, only one of which had a hiccup and it wasn't Swappa's fault. Their support is fast and helpful, the website layout is excellent and covers all the bases (lists all the different models of every phone so you know you're buying the right one) and it's as fast as can reasonably be expected. Their listing process is quite thorough which lends to its safety for both the seller and buyer, unlike certain other marketplaces (cough ebay cough). The only thing I wish they would do is run the MEID/IMEI of all listed devices through all of the most popular carriers (main & MVNOs) and give us some information about that. The last phone I bought, which is the only one I've had any issues with, wasn't able to be activated with the MVNO I originally wanted to use, but worked with another. If ANY information at all could be given about that, like literally just saying a phone is likely to work with X carrier not that it absolutely will, would be helpful. I understand that there may be some legal ramifications there but I think if done correctly they could pull it off without trouble on their side.

Anyways, Swappa is great, use it!

Swappa Easy way of buying used phones for a negotiable price!

During my almost 6 year experience with Swappa, I can tell you it is really amazing. I have bought several items, mostly phones and once a mirrorless camera as well. They used to be just a "used" phone market but now they have grown to different electronic devices. I am surprised some people had some bad experiences with this website/app recently. I am so glad I never had a problem with their site nor with the people selling their devices. I really enjoy how easy everything is. I've never bought phones from Ebay because their platform looks confusing. I do not understand the bidding options so I use Swappa instead. I like how their staff is always monitoring the comment section to see if there are any bad actors or trolls. Their customer service is great and help the transitioning process when purchasing an item. If you are new to Swappa, I recommend you to try this platform out. The people selling their devices have some competitive prices especially the "Mint" conditioned devices. Not all devices are a deal, though, so do some research before shopping and do not rely on Swappa to always have the lowest prices. Thank you for reading and I hope you found this helpful.
PS: I have never returned an item so I do not know how returning items work.

Swappa Trustworthy

Swappa is trying to create a quick and easy way to sell and purchase used devices and phones. Someone mentioned this website to me about a year ago, but I couldn't decide on what phone I wanted when my yearly upgrade time came. I didn't want to trade in my Galaxy S7 as I wanted to keep it as a car diagnostic tool that stays in my vehicle.

If I were to purchase the phone on a contract through AT&T it would cost me a total of $915, but I went through Swappa and bought a mint condition phone for $550. Of course it doesn't come in a nice box or with brand new accessories, but that's fine because I use my own headphones and cables and don't usually like the packaged stuff.

The seller I purchased from said the device was in mint condition and it was. The S9+ came in a case with a screen protector, wrapped in a bubble wrap envelope folder over itself inside of a USPS box. I purchased on a Sunday, he shipped on Monday, and I had my device by the afternoon on Thursday.

I backed up my old phone, transferred my data to the new phone, popped in my SIM card, and AT&T recognized my device. I have full functionality including Wi-Fi calling and texting. I never went into a store or called anyone to get my device working. It was great!

I saved over $350 for what is essentially a brand new phone and couldn't feel better about it.

Swappa Better than Amazon or Ebay!

If your looking to buy a like new or used phone, tablet, or computer without having to break the bank, look no further than Swappa! I recently purchased the Huawei Mate 20 X on this site, and I have to say I am very pleased that I chose Swappa over Amazon or Ebay.

For first time buyers like myself, it was quite reassuring that all sellers are required to list verification photos of the items they're selling, so what you see is what you get (https://swappa.com/blog/what-is-a-verification-photo/). Additionally, sellers must make sure that the phone is ready for activation, meaning that the phone isn't reported as lost or stolen (https://swappa.com/faq/esn). On top of that, Swappa has a team of moderators that ensure that there's no manipulation or shady tricks happening with the verification photos or the ESN. The best part is that you can easily communicate with the seller for additional photos, more detailed information about the product, and even negotiate for a better price!

It might seem like a lot to ask from a seller, but each of these features make buyers like me much more confident in the integrity of the seller and the product. You don't get ANY of these reassurances on sites like Amazon or Ebay, where you can be easily tricked into buying a counterfeit product, or just not getting what you paid for, and be left holding the bag when the seller disappears from the site, never to be heard from again.

Though its unfortunate I'm seeing so many posts hating on Swappa, I had no problems whatsoever. The seller was quick to respond to my questions, the purchase went smoothly, and I received my phone in a timely manner. I couldn't ask for any better!

Swappa Ok selling experience - not great

I have sold around 50 phones on swappa, the staff communicates very well for each listing. What I don't like is individual photo / imei verification on each listing I create, this is not a good use of my time and does not attract me to stay on the website. When amazon and eBay do not require any verification. Swappa boasts there are no seller fees however I have found in many instances when selling on eBay that I will sell items with fees but will be able to sell for a higher price. Sometimes swappa is more profitable, sometimes they are not.
Swappa has Not been as competitive as I'd like, they do not offer bank payments Like amazon (I must pay fees on PayPal). They have no FBA system. No crypto purchase option. They removed their broken phone category on swappa years ago, this category drew many to the website and they Claimed there was too much fraud for them to keep it running, they outright shut it down without offering to keep it running in a safe manner with more scrutiny on buyers and sellers.

Swappa is famous for their imei check tool, as a bulk reseller I can tell you their checker is often wrong, when the mods verify your imei when you post a listing I don't believe they even use swappa to verify imeis, they use the main carrier websites (but don't tell you that).

Swappa lures in a lot of sellers who have been banned from eBay or do not like eBay. I believe they have no seller limits

Last year I had a problem with an angry buyer leaving me false feedback, swappa wrote on their terms And condition they do not allow for "False summary of sale" feedback, upon contacting them they did not remove the feedback which I fully believe was unjust and I proved it to them. If I can't be respected as a seller and get the help I deserve when I wanted it then I have no desire to continue using swappa.

Swappa Great experience, happy to find Swappa!

My husband needed a new phone. After looking at different sites and feeling like there was no way to know the legitimacy of the seller and if the product there were selling would be something that was stolen, I was discouraged. I googled best places to buy a used cell phone, and Swappa came up. I read the review and then checked it out. Searched for the phone I was interested in buying. The prices were reasonable, but not rock bottom making you think it was too good to be true. Swappa seems to allow different sellers, but the review I read said to look specifically for a rated seller, which I did. Then I read as many reviews from those sellers sales to see which one was most trustworthy. I was still nervous. Swappa states they verify the IMEI on each phone. I have read a few reviews that stated the phone was locked due to an unpaid phone bill or something else that would be hard to verify, but the person was able to return the phone, so they are only out of their time and without a new to them phone... but not totally screwed over by having to eat the price they paid for the phone. They encourage sellers to post pictures that verify they physically have the phone, but this isn't required. Sellers work hard to keep their ratings up, that definitely works in the favor of the buyer.

Swappa gives you time to look over the phone and make the transaction right before you "complete" the transaction. I waited a week or two before I completed to make sure the phone didn't just look good but actually worked.

What I like most about Swappa is the reasonable prices, the IMEI being verified before the seller is allowed to sell the phone, and the sellers rating system is easy to navigate. Admittedly I was still nervous about buying, but I had a lot less reservation given the reviews from the buyers and this site being dedicated to only hand held electronics sales. It turned out to be an excellent experience for me, and I plan to continue using Swappa the go to site for used cell phones.

Swappa No guarantee you will get paid…

SELLERS BEWARE:

Sold laptop on this site. The pay system Swappa uses is PayPal. PayPal refuses to transfer my funds to my bank. Swappa said, “Swappa can’t help you - take it up with PayPal”.

They won’t see the whole transaction through.

All they care about is getting their cut. They will not help you get paid.

You would think that Swappa would make an attempt to contact their partner to help.

Claimed loss: $1,199

Desired outcome: I want to be paid ASAP

Swappa Got ripped off by Swappa and Celltrade

In June 2022, I ordered a MINT condition iPhone Max. Upon receipt of the phone I notice the battery only held a charge to about 80%, and I would not call this mint condition. Even worse a couple weeks in, the phone went to the black screen of death and I had to reboot. Turns out every week or so this has been happening. The seller offered to let me return the phone, but lets looks at realistically. They advertised a MINT condition phone which was nowhere near that. Second, I have a job that requires access to my smart phone. How the heck am I supposed to send them back my phone and be without one for at least a week? I just could not do that. Why couldn't Swappa or Celltrade send me a replacement or temporary phone so I could not be without a phone? Why is everything on the buyer? I will NEVER use Swappa again, and I suggest you don't either. Spend a few more dollars and buy a new one or get from a trusted seller. Otherwise you will be stuck with a broken phone.

Swappa Feedback on Swappa: Mandatory PayPal Verification and Consistent Email Requirements

Hey Swappa peeps,

Listen up, I got some feedback for ya that could really help cut down on all the fraud selling that's been going on. Here's what I suggest:

1) Make it mandatory for all Sellers to be 'PayPal Verified'. This way, those scammers will have to leave behind some paper trails, like their savings account and financial institution. It'll make it harder for them to pull off their shady schemes.

2) Make it so that the Seller's email for Swappa has to be the same as their email for PayPal. This will help keep things consistent and prevent any confusion or mix-ups.

If you guys implement these two requirements, I think it could really cut down on the amount of fraud selling that's been happening.

Now, I've bought 4 iPhones successfully on Swappa in the past, but unfortunately, I got scammed on my 5th purchase. Here's what went down:

A) On 12/28/18, I bought an iPhone 8 for $400 from a guy named Dante J. His Seller ID is TUJ214. The transaction ID is LRNX***. The Sale ID is SRNY***.

B) Later that same day, I got a text from PayPal saying that a $385 transaction with someone named Janeel Gil was marked as suspicious. Before I had a chance to reply to the text, PayPal went ahead and sent the money.

C) The next day, on 12/29/18, the Seller emailed me using "***@gmail.com" and said that he had received the money and that Janeel Gil was his wife's PayPal account.

D) Here's where things get sketchy. The Seller used multiple aliases. His name is Dante J, but he used the email ***@gmail.com for Swappa. His wife's name is Janeel Gil, and she used the email ***@gmail.com for PayPal.

E) On 1/2/19, I filed a dispute with PayPal as 'Unauthorized Access'. But PayPal denied it, saying that it was a valid transaction.

F) On 1/9/19, Swappa refunded me $15 and marked the transaction as 'Sale Failed'.

G) On 1/11/19, I called PayPal and was on hold for a whopping 1.5 hours. Finally, I got through to an agent who agreed to re-open the case as "Item Not Received". PayPal said that the Seller had 10 days to respond to their email request for info.

H) On 1/21/19, after 10 days had passed, PayPal said that the Seller did not respond. So PayPal agreed to refund me $385.

I) Finally, on 1/24/19, after almost a month, I got my $385 refund back in my credit card.

Needless to say, I'm not a happy Swappa user. It took a lot of time and effort to get my money back from that scammer. And now, I don't feel safe buying anything on Swappa anymore.

But if you guys implement those two requirements I mentioned earlier, I think it could really make buying on Swappa a lot safer. So please, consider my feedback and let's make Swappa a better place for everyone.

Swappa My Experience Selling on Swappa: Flawed Policies and Unreasonable Buyers

Swappa is a website where you can buy and sell phones, tablets, and other electronics. I have had some experiences with Swappa that I would like to share. In my opinion, Swappa is not a good place to sell your devices. They always side with the buyer, even if the buyer is being unreasonable. I will give you two examples of what happened to me.

First, I sold an Android device Pixel to a buyer. When the buyer received the device, they tried to root it and ended up bricking it. When I got the device back, it was permanently damaged. I have worked on over 10,000 phones, but Swappa still demanded that I refund the buyer or they would close my account. No matter how much I tried to explain to the customer, I lost the entire device.

Second, I sent a device to a customer with photos and everything, showing that there were no blemishes or scratches. However, the customer claimed that there was a scratch on the device. I showed them a picture that proved there was no scratch, but Swappa still demanded that I refund the customer or they would take negative action against me. I had to comply and absorb the cost of shipping, insurance, return shipping, and Paypal fees. I also had to pay for a damaged screen that the customer caused. I lost 25% of the value of the device in just one transaction. Swappa only offers one method of payment, which is Paypal, so sellers are stuck with their flawed policies.

In my experience, Swappa's buyer market caters towards those who are extremely price conscious, including other phone shops, hackers, and phone flippers. Some of these buyers will buy a device, take it apart, exchange the parts, and return the device with broken parts back to the seller. They will then make a claim that it was broken. Not all buyers do this, but the small percentage that do eat into all of your profits and more. If you want to make money on Swappa, you have to be willing to sell your devices at far below reasonable market price. I suggest looking for other venues, such as Facebook Marketplace, which has better payment policies. As a seller with hundreds of sales on Swappa, I can tell you that it's a losing proposition.

Swappa Swappa Review: A Decent Site for Buying and Selling Electronics

I've been using swappa.com for a little over a month now and I must say, it's been a pretty good experience so far. I've sold three phones and tablets and even purchased a tablet myself. The community on the site seems to be pretty friendly and ready to do business. However, there are a lot of newbies on the site, like myself, who don't have any ratings yet. This can make it a bit difficult to know who to trust, but so far, it hasn't been a problem for me or for those who have purchased from me.

One of the cool features of Swappa is that you can link your eBay account to your Swappa account and your eBay rating will be posted on your Swappa profile. This can give you a bit more insight into the trustworthiness of a seller, but it's also a system that can be easily gamed.

One of the selling points of Swappa is that there are no seller's fees. However, this isn't entirely true. Swappa's fees are built into the seller's price, so the seller doesn't get all the money the buyer pays. That being said, Swappa's fees are still lower than some other sites (about $5 for every $100 of the sales price). Swappa uses PayPal to complete transactions, so sellers will also have to pay PayPal fees.

There's a pretty good marketplace on Swappa, even for more obscure items. I was able to sell a tablet that wasn't very well-known and had only one other sale on the site. It took about three weeks, but I was able to find a buyer.

Swappa allows for communication between buyers and sellers before the sale in the form of posts that everyone can see. After the purchase, there's a private area where buyers and sellers can communicate about shipping details and any issues with the product or transaction. Swappa staff is also available to help out if needed.

Overall, Swappa is a decent site for buying and selling electronics. It's nice to have an alternative to eBay and other sites like Gazelle. I plan on continuing to use Swappa to buy and sell my mobile tech.

Swappa Review: Gopro Hero 5 Black - Superior Video Quality and User-Friendly Features

I recently made a purchase on Swappa and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the product I received. I bought a Gopro Hero 5 Black, which was listed as used but in like new condition, for only $175.00. Upon receiving the product, I was happy to see that it had few to no scratches and was very clean. Although it did not come with the retail box, it was still in great condition.

The video quality of the Gopro Hero 5 Black was superior to any action camera I have purchased so far. I even compared it to my Dragon Touch 4K action camera, which I had purchased new from Amazon Shopping, and the Gopro Hero 5 Black was definitely the winner. This camera allows for the addition of an exterior microphone, which is great for vlogging. It also has a touch screen and voice control, making it very user-friendly and easy to set up and use. The features on this camera were way better than the Dragon Touch too, proving the old saying "you get what you pay for" to be true.

For vlogging, I recommend shooting the Gopro Hero 5 Black in 1080p 60fs as the image stabilization works best here. The 4k 30fs works great and looks nice too for all your action video. The Hero also shoots slow motion in 1080p at 120fs for clear but slow footage. If you want your video every shower, then drop down to 720p at 240fs and really slow down your action shots. This camera also lets you change just about every camera setting for professional-looking videos, like ISO and shutter speed, along with white balance and color. It has several settings for audio input too, for adjusting both the on-board (4 mics) or controlled over your external mic.

The only downside to this camera is that the external microphone adapter, which is required to attach and use an external microphone (which I highly recommend over the on-board microphones), costs $50.00 for their proprietary adapters from GoPro. You can't use any off-brand USB C to 3.5mm headphone adapters, as they just simply do not work. The adapter from GoPro is also very bulky and awkward, which takes away from its compactness.

I highly recommend installing the Gopro app from the Google Play Store or the IOS app store as the quality of the app is also better than any other action camera app out. This app will give you full control over the camera and let you see what you're recording.

In conclusion, if you can find a used Gopro, in like new condition, for cheap, get it. The Gopro Hero 5 Black is a great camera with amazing features and superior video quality. It's definitely worth the investment.

Swappa Buyer Beware: Swappa Overcharges Sellers and Offers No Explanation

So, I had a pretty bad experience with Swappa. I sold an Apple watch on their site and ended up feeling totally ripped off. I received several comments from potential buyers asking me to lower the price, and I finally agreed to one buyer and lowered the price to $309. According to Swappa's own guidelines, I would have to pay $9 (3% of the sale price) and the PayPal fee. The buyer would also pay 3%. Seemed fair, right? Well, today the watch sold and when I saw what I was charged, I realized I had been scammed. PayPal took $18 (6%) for Swappa's (partner) fee, not 3% as I was expecting.

Here are the purchase details:
Apple Watch Series 8 45mm - Starlight, A2771 - GPS, Aluminum
Item #LXCNxxxxx
$309.00
Purchase total$309.00
Fee
-$11.27
Partner fee
-$18.00
Total$279.73

I sent Swappa an email to ask about the extra charge, but I got an automated response that didn't really answer my question. They just repeated that sellers are paid their asking price minus the 3% Swappa Seller Fee and the PayPal Fee. I wrote back to ask again why I was charged 6%, but I got the same automated response. No one read my email or even tried to explain the additional charge.

I know it's only $9, but it's the principle that matters. They said I would pay 3%, but they took 6%. Plus, their explanation that "the seller and buyer pay as well as any applicable taxes the buyer has to pay based on their mailing address" is total BS. There was a $9 sales tax? Come on!

I do NOT recommend this company. Unless you want to be ripped off and end up with a lot less profit than you expected, stay away. Remember, you still have to pay shipping on top of the fees. From now on, I will stick to eBay. At least I know the fee stated will be the fee I pay.

I'm even considering checking with my state's taxation department to make sure Swappa really pays sales tax. If not, the state can pursue them for the money. Overall, my experience with Swappa was pretty disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Swappa Transparent and Straightforward: My Positive Experience with Swappa

I found out about Swappa from another website and decided to check it out. After reading through reviews and their rules and fees, I was impressed with their transparency and straightforwardness. Over the years, I have bought and sold many phones and tablets, and I have never encountered a rude moderator. Every email I sent was answered within three hours or less, and any questions or concerns I had were explained in detail.

I have noticed that many negative reviews are due to people not reading the website's purpose and FAQs. At the top of the homepage, it clearly states that Swappa is a people-powered platform that only allows individuals or small businesses to sell their items. The buyer pays a $5 fee, which is included in the total price, and shipping is always free. Before an item is approved for sale, it goes through an IMEI, ESN phone ID check to ensure that it is clean to sell. The photos provided by the seller must show all details, especially the glass up close, and include a unique sale number if approved. All items must be in good working order, with no cracks, damage, or stolen property. There are no payment binding contracts.

The staff at Swappa are trained to look over the images with the assigned number to verify that the actual phone being sold is on their platform. Swappa only charges a $5 fee, and both the seller and buyer are required to have a PayPal account with an address that matches where the item will be shipped. The seller pays for tracking and insurance out of their pocket. Swappa does not sell smartphones; people do. They also do not approve junk or nonworking items, only the seller who did not disclose the truth about their product being sold.

Swappa's goal is to maintain fair and equitable trade between the public. They are not out for profit like Facebook, which sells your intimate details to the highest bidder. It is essential to read the rules and prices before criticizing the website. Many people who write negative reviews do not take the time to do so. For example, one lady claimed that Swappa charged her a $20 fee, which is not true. If people took the time to read the website's rules and fees, they would not feel so foolish.

Lastly, Swappa has real people available to help you 24/7. It is rare to find a website that offers this level of customer service. Overall, Swappa is an excellent platform for buying and selling used phones, tablets, computers, and smartwatches. If you follow the rules and guidelines, you can make a lot of money back on your used items.

Swappa Swappa: The Best Site for Buying Electronics - My Experience and Review

Swappa is a website that I recently discovered while browsing for a new phone at Best Buy. I was eyeing the Note 8, but the price tag of over $800 was just too steep for me. The sales associate suggested Swappa as an alternative, and I was intrigued. I've been using eBay for years, but I've had some bad experiences with buying phones on the platform. One time, I received a phone that was reported lost or stolen just an hour after I received it. I did eventually get my money back, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Despite my reservations, I decided to give Swappa a try. I was impressed by the site's selling criteria, and I watched listings for close to two weeks before finally finding a phone that I wanted to purchase. The transaction was smooth and easy, and I was thrilled with my purchase. My husband even fell in love with my new phone, so I went back to Swappa the next day and found a local seller who was offering another Note 8. The transaction was completed in just 30 minutes, and I had the phone in my hands in no time.

Overall, I am beyond thrilled with my experience on Swappa. The site is easy to use, and the sellers are reliable and trustworthy. Plus, the fact that you can make offers on listings is a huge plus. I will definitely be a returning customer, and I will never use eBay again to purchase electronics. Swappa is the best site for buying electronics, hands down. And if anything does go wrong, you can rest easy knowing that PayPal has your back. I can't recommend Swappa enough!

Swappa Swappa Review: Mixed Feelings on Selling Electronics, Frustrating Refunds and Disputes

I've been selling my electronics on Swappa for a couple of years now and I have to say, I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I have 48 positive reviews and have had some great experiences with buyers. However, there are some major issues with the way Swappa handles refunds and disputes that have left me feeling frustrated and ripped off.

One of the biggest problems is that Swappa leaves all refunds and disputes up to PayPal. Now, we all know that PayPal never sides with the seller, and that's a major issue. I recently sold a brand new MacBook that was still sealed in the box. The buyer claimed that he received a different MacBook that was all scratched up and used. He even went so far as to make a fake YouTube video of himself "opening" the box to find the used MacBook inside. Despite the fact that it was obvious he was trying to scam me, PayPal sided with him and I was out $2100. I never received my new MacBook back, and the buyer was supposed to send me back the fake MacBook that was seen in his YouTube video, per PayPal's return policy. Instead, he sent me back a Lenovo. When I brought this up to Swappa, they couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. PayPal even suggested that I file a police report, which is ridiculous. I had plenty of evidence, including pictures, videos, and an affidavit, but it wasn't enough for PayPal. It's incredibly frustrating to be out that much money and not have any recourse.

Another issue I've had is with buyers who decide they don't want the item they bought from me. I recently sold a brand new OnePlus to a buyer who then sold it to one of his customers. After three months, the customer decided they didn't like it and my buyer asked me for a refund. If he opens a PayPal dispute, I'm 100% sure he'll win, even though it's not my fault. That means I'll be out of money and I'll receive my phone back in a different condition than how I sold it. It's not fair, and it's frustrating to feel like I have no control over the situation.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend selling electronics on Swappa, especially if you're a small business owner or just trying to sell your personal items. Swappa staff won't do anything to help you, and they just sit there and listen to the buyer and seller bicker back and forth. It's not a good experience, and it's not fair to the seller. Swappa says they want to remain neutral on these types of matters, but if you think about it, PayPal is never neutral. They always side with the buyer over the seller, and that's not fair. I no longer want to sell on this site and I don't recommend it for other honest sellers.

Swappa Swappa Review: Unfair Burdens on Sellers, No Ability to Rate Buyers

I've been using eBay for almost two decades now, and I've had my fair share of transactions that required support and intervention. However, I've always been able to work things out with the help of their Resolution Center system and mutual seller-buyer ratings. Unfortunately, Swappa doesn't offer the same level of support and protection for sellers.

One of the biggest issues I've encountered with Swappa is that only the buyer can rate the seller. This means that sellers are left hanging, even when they request support to intervene in a seller-buyer issue. All they receive are links to policies and PayPal's policy. The correspondence often feels like it's coming from someone with little understanding of business or the issues that can arise.

Another issue is that the seller pays for shipping, and they have no ability to rate or review unethical buyers. If a buyer chooses to return a product, the seller must take it back, even if the buyer is lying about the reason for the return. There's no way to verify anything the buyer says, so they can say whatever they want to avoid return shipping costs. Swappa doesn't get involved even when they're asked.

I recently sold an iPhone 6 on Swappa that was in excellent condition. I had the carrier put it through two simulated activations with the IMEI, and they confirmed that it was clean and ready to be activated on their service. However, the buyer claimed that the phone was locked and couldn't be activated. I spent four days politely helping her and offering several times to take the phone back, but she never followed through. I even arranged a conference call with the carrier support rep to look at the IMEI and her account, and it turned out that her account was locked from an unpaid obligation. She knew this, but she was trying to blame me and the phone. If the lock was my fault, I would have had to pay for return shipping. Otherwise, she would have to pay for it. I provided the last four digits of the phone number that was locked to Swappa, but I received no assistance or defense against this bad buyer. Even after all of this, I offered to take the phone back, but I heard nothing for three days. When I asked for the tracking number of her return shipment, she replied that she would be keeping the phone. As a result of five days of helping this buyer, I received a one-star rating and a nasty review. When I tried to return the favor of a review, Swappa told me that sellers don't have the ability to rate buyers.

Overall, Swappa has huge gaps in its system that place unfair burdens on sellers. It almost assumes that sellers are guilty until proven innocent. While there are many good buyers and sellers on Swappa, I would recommend finding another marketplace for selling used equipment. There are many other excellent secondary (C2C) markets for selling used equipment on the internet, but Swappa isn't one of them.

Swappa Disappointing Experience with Swappa: No Phone, No Tracking Numbers, and No Help from Seller or Swappa

Last week, I bought a phone from a seller named Kenny305K, whose real name is Kenneth Talavera from Miami. I was excited to receive the phone as soon as possible, so I paid right away. However, after the sale, I did not receive any tracking numbers from the seller, which is required by Swappa. I tried to contact the seller multiple times to expedite the shipment, but I did not receive any response. Here is a copy of the conversation:

Frank R., unfortunately at this time, I recommend you file a PayPal dispute to begin the forced refund process:

Login to PayPal, locate and click on the payment sent to the seller, and then click on the "Report a problem" link. From there, you can file a dispute.

No phone today! Both Post office and UPS send me an email with all mail/packages I will be getting as soon as they hit their system. Only letters coming today from Post Office. Other stuff coming, just not the phone. So ITS NOT COMING! Ripped off, but Paypal will get me my money back... eventually. Could take up to 60 days. Bad seller and leaves me with a bad opinion of Swappa as my first experience was looking forward to a battle to get my money back. No help from Swappa. They don't even have a way to compensate or throw you a deal or anything to make up a major inconvenience. Nothing! They just tossed it to Paypal! Major inconvenience.

I was disappointed that I did not receive the phone, and the seller did not respond to my requests for tracking numbers. I had to file a dispute with PayPal to get my money back, which could take up to 60 days. This experience left me with a bad opinion of Swappa, as they did not provide any help or compensation for the inconvenience. This was my first and last experience with Swappa.

Swappa NOT SELLER FRIENDLY. SELLERS BEWARE!

I've been selling on Swappa for 2 years. I have 48 reviews, all positive. However, I hate that Swappa leaves their refunds and disputes up to PayPal. We all know PayPal never sides with the seller. And that is such a lazy way of conducting business on Swappa's part. I sold a brand new, still sealed MacBook and buyer claimed he received a different MacBook. He even made a fake YouTube video of him "opening" the box to find a used MacBook inside and posted pictures of it all scratched up. He won the case, even though it was obvious he was trying to scam me. PayPal didn't even ask me for my evidence. They just said that the best option was to refund the buyer. I was out $2100 and never received my new MacBook back. The buyer was supposed to AT LEAST send me back the fake MacBook that was seen in his YouTube video, per PayPal's return policy. Instead, he sent me back a Lenovo. I brought this up to Swappa and they can't or won't do anything about it. PayPal wants me to file a police report, because my affidavit and all the pictures, videos, and plenty of other evidence weren't enough. I have another buyer who bought a brand new OnePlus from me. He then decides he's going to sell it to one of his customers. They use it for 3 months and they decide they don't like. So my buyer asks me for a refund. If he opens a PayPal dispute right now, I'm 100% positive that he is going to win, even though it is not my fault. That's how little confidence I have in dealing with refunds regarding Swappa sales. That means I will be losing money and receiving my phone back in a different condition than how I sold it. In what world is that fair? At this point, I wouldn't even sell my electronics on eBay. Don't sell electronics on sites that are backed by PayPal, especially Swappa. Swappa staff will not do anything to help. They just sit there and listen to the buyer and seller bicker back and forth. It's awful. The least they could do is close the sale out weeks after it's been marked as delivered. But no. Instead, they allow the buyer to chose when to close the sale. This is so unfair to the seller. Swappa sellers are usually those who run small businesses or those who just want to sell their personal items. Does Swappa not realize how horrible PayPal is to small businesses? PayPal doesn't care about the seller and neither does Swappa. Swappa says they want to remain neutral on these types of matters, but if you think about it, PayPal is never mutual. All Swappa really does is pass the job along to PayPal, who always sides with the buyer over the seller. I no longer want to sell on this site and I do not recommend if for other honest sellers.

Swappa Swappa: A secondary market that does not control for bad buyers

I've been an active eBay buyer since 2003. In that time I have engaged in almost 100 sales transactions, a few of which needed support and help to work out. Every one of them was worked out because of the involvement of their Resolution Center system and check and balance of mutual seller-buyer ratings. This does not happen at Swappa. Only the buyer can rate the seller. Sellers are left hanging, even after they request involvement with support to intervene in a seller-buyer issue. All they do is send links to their policies and PayPal's policy. All of the correspondence seems like it is coming from a 20-something with no real understanding of business or of issues that can - and usually occur.
The seller pays shipping. The seller has no ability to rate or review unethical buyers. The seller must take back the product if the buyer chooses to send it. There is no way to verify anything the buyer says - so they can say whatever they want to avoid return shipping costs - and Swappa doesn't get substantively involved even when they are asked.
About a month ago I sold an iPhone 6 - very clean - and had the carrier put it through two simulated activations with the IMEI and told me on both occasions it was clean and ready to be activated on their service. The buyer claimed the phone was locked and could not be activated. I spent four days very politely helping her - and offering several times that she could return the phone (she never followed through) culminating in me arranging a conference call with the carrier support rep to look at the IMEI and her account. It turns out it was her account that was locked from an unpaid obligation (She knew that - but was trying to blame me and the phone). You see, if the lock was my fault instead of hers, I would have to pay return shipping. Otherwise, she would have to pay for return shipping. I even provided the last four digits of the phone number that was locked - to Swappa - and got no assistance or defense with this bad buyer. Even then, I offered to take the phone back but heard nothing for three days. I sent a note again asking for the tracking number of her return shipment to which she replied she would be keeping the phone. As a result of five days of helping this buyer, I received a one-star rating and a nasty review to which I tried to return the favor of a review so nobody else would deal with this liar only to be told by Swappa that sellers do not have the ability to rate buyers. I was swindled by a terrible secondary seller site of Swappa and a non-bill paying little liar - verified by the carrier. None of that was good enough to get an ounce of help from the support reps who only seem to send pre-scripted links for you to read. There are many good buyers and sellers out there and I am sure some of them engage with Swappa. The point here is that Swappa has HUGE GAPS in its system that places unfair burdens on the sellers - almost assuming they are guilty until proven innocent. There are many other excellent secondary (C2C) markets for selling used equipment on the internet. Swappa isn't one of them. Find another marketplace - don't use Swappa.

Swappa Paid $600+ for a phone, no phone, no help from Swappa, would be 1 star if I could!

Just last week I purchased a phone from Kenny305K whose real name is Kenneth Talavera from Miami. In the original post on buying the phone he said he could expedite the phone for me so I paid right away. In the private messages section after the sale, sellers are required to send tracking number 2 days after the sale. No tracking numbers and here is a copy of the conversation:

Swappa Disappointed with Swappa.com: Lack of Clear Guidelines and Communication with Users

I recently had an experience with Swappa.com where I sold a phone and the transaction went smoothly. I shipped it out and the buyer received it. The buyer even made a comment saying that it was received exactly how I advertised it and that he was able to activate it on his network without any issues. However, fast forward 30 plus days and he makes a comment on the listing stating that the screen had fallen off. I was taken aback by this as it had been over 30 days and the transaction was done and he had previously stated that it was working for him.

I decided to wait and see what Swappa would say about this situation. A few days later, they told him to file a dispute for a refund. I was confused by this as I had followed all the rules and regulations of the site. I commented on the situation and they said that I never responded, but I had explained why. It seems that if you sell a phone on this site, you are expected to provide service to the buyer regardless of how long it has been. I have never heard of anything like this before and there is nothing on the website that states this.

According to Swappa's rules, you are expected to talk to the seller in the beginning until the device is in their hands and confirmed working, which I did. There is even a comment from them on this very site stating that. So, I followed their rules and they still told the guy to file a dispute with Paypal. Even though it is clear by simply reading his comments that the phone broke while he was using it. Not before.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience on Swappa.com. I will not be using this site again and will make sure that no one else I know uses it either. It seems that the rules and regulations are not clear and that there is a lack of communication between the site and its users. It is important for a site like this to have clear guidelines and to communicate effectively with its users to avoid situations like this.

Swappa Swappa Review: Unvetted Sellers and Poor Customer Service Led to a Terrible Experience

Swappa is a website that allows people to buy and sell used electronics. However, my experience with the site was not a good one. The biggest issue I had was that they don't seem to vet sellers, which led to me having a terrible experience with a fraudulent seller. They sent me the wrong phone, blamed me for ordering it, and ignored my requests for a refund for a whole month. I had to dispute the transaction with PayPal just to get my money back. When I asked Swappa to talk to the seller about proper listing practices, they didn't seem to care.

To make matters worse, my account was closed without warning or explanation. When I tried to log in again, I couldn't. It took two days of requesting information just to get an explanation, and even then, they didn't seem to care about my experience with the fraudulent seller. It's frustrating that the seller who screwed me over doesn't seem to have faced any consequences, while I'm the one who got punished by having my account closed.

I was also disappointed by the dismissive email response I received from Swappa. They didn't seem to care about my experience or my frustration. It's frustrating that they pretended to be helpful earlier, but as soon as they knew who I was, they stopped caring.

Overall, my experience with Swappa was very dissatisfying. I wouldn't recommend using the site, as they don't seem to care about their customers or their experiences. It's frustrating that they don't vet their sellers, which can lead to terrible experiences like the one I had. If you're looking to buy or sell used electronics, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Swappa Swappa: A Nightmare Experience - Stay Far Away

I gotta say, I had a really bad experience with Swappa. They say they're a "Safe, friendly marketplace," but my one and only time using them was a total nightmare. I bought a used phone after reading some good reviews online, but when it arrived, it was broken. I figured it would be easy to return it and get my money back, but boy was I wrong.

The seller accused me of lying and breaking the phone, and Swappa's "Help" team (if you can even call them that) basically just said "we don't handle returns, contact Paypal." So that's what I did, but I'm still waiting for my refund from Paypal. And to add insult to injury, Swappa charged me $10 for the transaction, which I still haven't gotten back.

I know Swappa's PR team is gonna come back with some BS about how they're available to help and they make the process clear, but let me tell you, that's a load of crap. They just refer you to Paypal and wash their hands of any responsibility. They don't even have a customer service phone number you can call! They just want your money and they don't care about you as a buyer or seller.

I've bought plenty of electronics from Ebay sellers and never had an experience like this. I would highly recommend staying far away from Swappa.

Swappa Terrible Experience with Swappa and We Buy Mobile: Fraudulent Business Practices and Poor Customer Service

I had a really bad experience with Swappa. It took them three whole months to finally give me my money back for a broken item that I received from We Buy Mobile, a seller on their website. I sent the item back the very next day, but they accused me of not returning their broken phone, which they tried to sell me. They were so quick to take my $200, but didn't want to refund me. They even responded to my emails in a very rude and short manner.

I was really frustrated and didn't know what to do, so I got my attorney involved. We threatened to take them to claims court, and that's when Swappa finally stepped in and told We Buy Mobile to refund me immediately. They only refunded me to save their own [censored]. Every other encounter with them was abrupt, rude, and they treated me, the customer, like I was beneath them.

I would never recommend or use this company again. We Buy Mobile is the most disgusting, fraudulent business I have ever dealt with. Waiting three months to get my $200 back that they basically stole from me was not worth my time, all the emails, all the calls, and all the financial stress I had to go through. I have every email and message to prove it.

If you're short on money or time, don't even bother with Swappa. They left me financially crippled and without a phone. It's just not worth it.

Swappa Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Swappa

I gotta say, I used Swappa about a year ago to buy a used phone. I was pretty convinced by their anti-Craigslist/eBay persuasion and their checkpoints seemed legit. They do help resolve problems, but let me tell you, the process wastes your time. The phone I bought was listed as good condition, but it wasn't ready to use. I had to get it serviced at the Apple store and found out the battery was swollen due to water damage. Luckily, the seller gave me a partial refund, but the time spent dealing with this and without a functioning phone was a total waste.

Now, I know what you're thinking, why would I use Swappa again after that experience? Well, my short term memory lapsed and I decided to give it another go this year to purchase a slightly newer model iPhone. The phone had a note about having an after-market screen replacement, but when I received it, the screen had four distinct pixel lighting inconsistencies. This was not a problem really, except the phone was listed as in mint condition. How did this get by the Swappa professionals who guarantee their checkpoint system? Furthermore, the phone was locked by an iCloud activation login linked to the previous owner's account. The seller was super slow to respond, which wasted another chunk of my time waiting. It was close to three days without a phone because of this issue. The seller claimed Swappa did not inform him of the iCloud sign-out protocol. How can this be considering Swappa lists the phone in language that communicates ready to use upon delivery?

I gotta say, I regret supporting this company and will warn any future buyers to beware. You get less than you pay for with Swappa. Time is money, and I wasted a lot of it dealing with their checkpoint system and resolving issues. While they do help resolve problems, the process is a total waste of time. I wouldn't recommend using Swappa to anyone looking to buy a used phone.

Swappa Mixed experiences with Swappa: Good for buying/selling used electronics, but be clear about shipping and follow-up

Swappa is a pretty good website to buy and sell used electronics. I've had mostly good experiences with them and their staff. One time, I had an issue where the seller didn't send me the item even though I paid for it. But Swappa staff and PayPal helped me resolve the issue in about 48 hours. Other purchases I made were good, although sometimes shipping took a bit longer. But that really depends on the sellers, you know?

However, I'm currently in the midst of an issue that has me feeling frustrated, which is why I'm giving them a lower rating. The seller agreed to ship my item quickly, but they didn't and they didn't even let me know about the delay. FedEx showed the agreed-on delivery time, but suddenly the delivery date changed the day I was expecting it. And to make matters worse, I'm leaving the country for a week, so I'm stuck in limbo with no device. Theoretically, it should arrive sometime next week while I'm away, but it requires a signature.

I've talked to Swappa staff about this issue, but their responses have varied. The last staff member I talked to said that technically the seller is within their timeframe to ship, so it's not an issue. But that's despite conversations on the purchase site where we agreed to ship early and I paid more for that service. And the part that troubles me the most is that my follow-up questions about what I should do regarding delivery and the lack of communication from the seller were ignored.

So, my advice when using Swappa is to be very clear about shipping, deadlines, and refunds if those aren't met before you pay for it. And always assume extra time for delivery, even if you pay extra for fast shipping. As a buyer, you should expect to have to do all the follow-up, checking, etc. if there is a problem. In both cases where I had issues, I had to follow up repeatedly, look up additional info, etc. It takes a lot of time!

Swappa Swappa Review: Unprofessional and Petty Staff, Stay Away if You Value Your Money

I've been using Swappa for a few years now and I have to say, it's been a mixed bag. I've had some good experiences, but unfortunately, the bad ones have outweighed the good. About a year ago, I had a really bad experience with a seller who shipped my phone to the wrong address. I never received the phone and I never got compensated for the $270 I spent on it. Because of this, I had a falling out with the seller and my account was banned.

I tried to create a new account about a week later and surprisingly, I was allowed to use Swappa for over a year without any issues. That is, until about a month ago when I had another bad experience with a seller. This time, the seller provided me with a tracking number that didn't exist and then went completely unresponsive. I reached out to Swappa in a professional manner, without any hostility, and they told me to check with the seller again. If the seller didn't respond, my only option would be to file a PayPal claim. They weren't taking any responsibility for what the seller did to me.

When I went back to check on the progress of my sale, I realized that both my new account and my old account (which was linked to my PayPal account) had been banned. When I asked why, they told me it was because of the issue I had with the other seller over a year ago. At the time, I had five active sales and I asked Mr. "Lucas F" how I could access the tracking numbers for those sales. Unfortunately, my emails were ignored.

The level of unprofessionalism and pettiness displayed by this company and their staff is beyond me. I've since switched to eBay and I have to say, they're a much more professional company. They actually care about their customers. If you value your hard-earned money, I would stay away from Swappa.

Swappa Swappa Review: Mixed Experiences with Buying Used Electronics Online

I have had mixed experiences with Swappa, an online marketplace for buying and selling used electronics. While some sellers have been honest and provided a smooth transaction, others have been less than truthful and caused headaches for me as a buyer.

When dealing with honest sellers, Swappa can be a great place to find a good deal on a used device. I have had several positive experiences where the seller was communicative and willing to work with me to ensure a smooth transaction. However, when dealing with dishonest sellers, Swappa's hands-off approach can be frustrating.

In situations where the seller is not honest, Swappa does not get involved in resolving the issue. Instead, they direct the buyer to PayPal to find a resolution. This process can be tedious and time-consuming, and the resolution often ends up being to void the sale. While this is sometimes possible, it is not always the case. As a result, it is important to tread with caution when buying from Swappa and to ask the seller all the necessary questions.

To protect yourself as a buyer, it is important to make sure the seller posts pictures of the device. For example, battery health is an important factor to consider when buying a used device. One seller refused to post a picture of the battery health but claimed that it was good. When I received the phone, it turned out that the battery health was not as advertised. The seller refused to cooperate to get the battery fixed, and Swappa did not get involved in resolving the issue. Instead, they recommended resolving the issue via PayPal, which can be a long and drawn-out process.

Another issue I had was with the screen of a device. The touchscreen was not working, but the seller claimed that it was. Thankfully, the seller was willing to take the device back and refund my money.

To avoid these types of issues, I always take Apple devices to an Apple store and have them do a free courtesy check. This has been very helpful in identifying any issues with the device before I make a purchase.

Overall, while Swappa can be a good place to find a deal on a used device, it is important to be cautious and ask the seller all the necessary questions. Additionally, it is important to be prepared for the possibility that Swappa may not get involved in resolving any issues that arise.

Swappa Disappointing Experience with Swappa: Faulty Product, Poor Support, and Unwillingness to Take Responsibility

I recently purchased an iPhone XS from Swappa, which was advertised as "like new." However, after only four months of use, the screen literally fell off. I took the phone to an authorized Apple repair center, where they informed me that the screen had been replaced with a non-Apple part, which was not only of poor quality but also installed incorrectly, causing it to detach from the phone. The repair cost me a whopping $280, which was a significant financial burden for me.

I reached out to the seller, but they refused to take any responsibility for the faulty product they had sold me. Swappa suggested that I pursue the issue with PayPal and my credit card company, but unfortunately, neither of them could help me due to various reasons that had nothing to do with the actual problem. I then asked Swappa to intervene and help me resolve the issue, but they refused to do anything, which was very disappointing.

Recently, I decided to sell the phone on Swappa, but when I went to list it, I noticed a message on the battery health page warning me that the battery had also been replaced with a non-Apple battery. This defect made it impossible for me to sell the phone at a decent price, and I was once again left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

When I contacted Swappa again, they told me that I had taken too long to bring up the issue, even though it had only been just over a year since I had purchased the phone. I had no reason to check the battery health until I was prompted to do so when I was about to list the phone for sale.

To make matters worse, when I posted a review on TrustPilot detailing my experience, Swappa responded by accusing me of treating their customer service representatives poorly. While I was certainly angry and frustrated, I do not believe that I was abusive or disrespectful in any way. I felt that their response was an attempt to undermine the credibility of my review, which was very disappointing.

Overall, I cannot recommend Swappa to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a phone. Their lack of support and unwillingness to take responsibility for faulty products is unacceptable, and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for a more reliable and trustworthy platform.

Swappa Swappa's Poor Quality and Customer Service: My $200 Nightmare

I recently had an experience with Swappa that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I ordered a phone from We Buy Mobile, through Swappa, for $200.00. Swappa guarantees that all devices are 100% functioning, but unfortunately, the phone I received did not work at all. It wouldn't turn on or charge, so I had to return it.

The return process was fairly straightforward, and I printed out the free return label provided by Swappa. However, it has now been over 3 1/2 weeks since I sent the phone back, and I still haven't received my refund. I sent the item back on July 3, 2017, but the tracking information became "unavailable" after it was sent back.

I have contacted both Swappa and We Buy Mobile multiple times, but all they can tell me is that they will issue a refund once the phone arrives. I provided them with all the information they asked for, including the order number and tracking number, but they still won't give me a contact number to speak to someone about the matter. They have stopped replying to my emails altogether, and I feel like they are treating me as if I am a burden.

I ordered from Swappa because they had decent reviews, but this experience has been the worst buying experience I have ever had. It's frustrating to think that I may never get my $200.00 back, especially since I returned the phone the very next day after receiving it. If they had sent me a working phone in the first place, none of this would have happened.

In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering buying from Swappa to think twice. They promise quality items, but they can't back it up. They seem more interested in making money than providing good customer service. I feel like they stole $200.00 from me, and I wouldn't want anyone else to have the same experience.

Swappa Buying on this site iphone

One big problem is website design where often a link is off screen so easy to make mistake. They try to make you pay through pay pal so difficult to find credit/debit card link.

And even more serious ... unlike Amazon and others once order placed they allow no time to change order if mistake is made. So exchange cost from seller is 10% of product cost. E.G. phone cost $1000 so exhange cost is $100. And no link to seller.

If you can find better deal buy elsewhere.

Swappa Swappa is the worst and so is there awful customer service that literally ghosted me!

Bought an LG G8 ThinQ phone. Used for around 700 days. It was advertised as new. Now it doesn't work with a single service provider! So basically it's a worthless piece of garbage. I have literally scoured the internet and every provider tells me it's not compatible. LG told me this phone is refurbished and not new and they lied to me. When Swappa customer service stopped responding for no reason and ghosted me, they only responded when I responded once more with a complaint to the BBB and completely lied in their response. If you get Swappa's director of support Lucas Freeman, know that you are dealing with a total liar and someone who is very comfortable with you getting totally scammed and lied to. Worst customer experience of all time.

Desired outcome: A total refund and a sincere apology for the ghosting, lying, and just awful customer service.

Swappa Swappa

I ordered a used phone from a trusted seller on Swappa. I never received the phone. The seller "Matt Pal" in Florida denied any responsibility.

I posted questions on the forum for Swappa where I described my experience. Since then, I cannot access the Swappa website now. It looks like it's treating my attempts to look at the website as a DDOS attack when I try to access information regarding my purchase.

I encourage you not to use Swappa. How can a website's feedback be trusted if negative feedback is blocked by the company?

Swappa lack of customer service

Swappa decides on who and what they want to respond to. I asked them, through their only contact info on their website, which is by email, a unique question about my listing, Three emails later, and still no response.

Don't expect to receive great customer support from used electronics dealers. Like used car salesmen, they're slick when it comes to their talk, but when it comes time to walk the walk, they don't deliver as promised.

Swappa allowed to sell stolen property

Swappa service cannot adequately check the authenticity of the devices. Consequently, stolen devices are sold on Swappa.com and I ended up purchasing one such item unknowingly. After taking the device to an Apple store for service, the store employee ran a diagnostic test and after a few minutes informed that the device is lost/stolen and Apple cannot service the device.
Swappa refuses to take responsibility for this egregious act and the company denies any involvement in handling stolen/lost devices. Yet such devices are dealt on the site.

Swappa avoid

If something goes wrong, you'll be left on your own.
Here's my experience dealing with this company: I chose it for some reason I found cool, but I regret I ever wasted my money on their junk.
They don't stand behind their service (or anything at all). I was sold a used phone which is fine, I was aware of it. But no one told me that it would arrive broken. I immediately asked for a refund knowing that they wouldn't accept a broken phone. I didn't even need a full refund. They refused and referred to their policies. They just exonerated themselves from responsibility. How unprofessional...
