SW Transmissions transmission

I bought a transmission from SW and they didn't but a filter in the transmission the warranty guy ignored all my emails and phone calls and i never got a phone call back not once. he finally responded to one of my emails and said we could look at the trani pan. there was no filter in the transmission. the transmision burnt up after 2 days of install. i called him today and he said my warranty is void because we should have replaced the filter when we put the trani in. he delayed all contact so it was in there benefit he said its to late to honor there warranty.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESES RIP OFFS

SW Transmissions ordering transmission

I called and they gave me a price of $540.00 on Saturday then called back on Monday to order the transmission and got a rude supervisor names Gabe who then changed the price to $580.00 I wanted to speak with the lady who quoted me at the first price and was told I wasn't aloud to because he was her supervisor and he was being very disrespectful and rude to me then he hung up on me, so then I called back and when I called back asked to speak to his manager and then was told no and said he would block me if I called back. This place is very unprofessional and and distasteful. Then reading all the feedback on this place ur better off going with a professional business who is going to give u the respect as a customer to not treat u like crap as they do here...

SW Transmissions They have sent me wrong type of transmission, which looked used

I have purchased transmission from SWTransmissions. The transmission was in stock and the seller informed me, but I didn’t get why he has sent me wrong type of the transmission. I have reminded the seller what type I needed. I told it couple of times. And the transmission looked like someone has already used it. It was dirty and with scratches. So, I complained and was completely disappointed in such services. It wasn’t appropriate and completely dishonest towards me.

SW Transmissions Defective parts. Warranty not honored.

I ordered a transmission from SW Transmissions (which also seems to operate as SW Engines) on 11/17/14. The order took 3 weeks to arrive (although 3 business days is the response time advertised BEFORE you check out and your credit card is charged).
The transmission was installed and did not work. Called SW and they sent a replacement. I asked about what I needed to do to file a warranty claim as installation costs of defective parts were listed as covered by warranty. The SW rep stated the warranty only applies if the part worked after installation AND THEN goes bad. Complete rip off. If they send you a transmission that is crap from jump- no coverage. If they send you a half assed rebuilt transmission that works for a few miles before it fails- covered.

There are a lot of complaints about this company that does business under several different names. SW Engines, Southwest Auto Parts, and SW Transmissions seem to be common complaints.

SW Transmissions Received wrong part

SW transmissions sent me the wrong transmission and refuse to refund my purchase price. The details and proof are below.
The ordering e-mail sent, and confirmed by them, (documents confirms the transmission was to be a;
Model # 4XAS CLM SHIFT, MULTI-FUEL (EXHIBIT#1)

I received a Model #4XAN, totally incompatible, mechanically and electrically. Photos sent to them of the identification code and other views. (EXHIBIT #2)

They agree I have the wrong transmission but claim I ordered the wrong one and demand restocking charges of 25% plus transportation charges $350.00. (Exhibit #3)

Positive proof the correct one was ordered and the wrong one shipped simply by the large ID numbers on each one.
They are sluggish in their responses and refuse to accept responsibility. Very disappointing in view of their professional approach and web site. Have no confidence they would honor any warrantee.

SW Transmissions Order was faulty upon delivery

I bought rebuilt transmission for child car from the website www.swtransmissions.com. I received the order quickly, but it contained some faulty parts. I argued with the seller for a long time, and finally he agreed to take the transmission back and provide refund. After I sent the transmission, I haven’t received any response and money from this company. I just wanted to warn everyone not to deal with such dishonest people.
