SuperPages.com AC unit

Rodenhiser Plumbing & AC in Holliston, MA recently installed an AC unit in our house for over $11,000, which soon thereafter completely failed. They came to inspect it & said the wiring had failed due to a bad chemical reaction between the copper & the insulation, resulting in countless pinhole leaks that caused the refrigerant to leak out. They said they knew about this faulty wiring 6 years ago, and that this problem had almost bankrupted them; however, they had bought a lot of the wiring from a manufacturer who had gone bankrupt due to this problem, so they had a lot of the wiring and no recourse. So they continued to install this faulty wiring AFTER they knew it was problematic. And now they want almost $6,000 to repair the mistake they are responsible for. But they won’t do the right thing (fix it), because they said they can no longer afford to.

Desired outcome: Fix it, don’t charge us.

SuperPages.com "free" business posting

Superpages.com used to be a great place to go for local listings - now not so much. When attempting to get them to list your new business they will pass you around to 2-3 sales people and then never actually help you list your business. Basically, if you don't buy into their insane services, your company is never getting a listing. They have sneakily combined their sales and their 'customer service' department so even if you think you reached support, you didn't.

My mother hired these people to do her roof, she is 77 years old, they sent one of there contractors out Named Mark to do the work on her roof in which she paid these people $5000, the work was not done, instead of fixing it the correct way the guy only put Tar on her roof which made matters worse, it has ruined her carpet, the insulation in which should have been removed is molding, and my brother and mother have called these people over and over and they have yet to come to fix her roof, meanwhile as the rain comes my 77 year old mother has to carry out buckets of water, everything is ruined. We expect FULL ReFUND and her carpet replaced ASAP, I am in turn going to report this to BBB and anyone else i can report it to, These people are a joke they do not care about there customers and have taken full advantage of my mother.

SuperPages.com Free listings

I have made several compants on google, local.com, superpages.com, idearcmedida.com. I have even contacted the CEO of idearcmedia who basically blew me off. No one monitors the free litings so scammers can put whatever they want to. They rip off the consumer and keep the ledigitmete, legal business' from staying in business.

SuperPages.com Yellow pages

Michelle cheetam was the sales rep who soy me my yellow page add campaign.the process started in February ot 2017.the new directory didn't print until July of 2017.The add in the directory was wrong from from every aspect and Michelle cheetham quit with verizon in July. I spent the entire day in their office in may designing the add and signed for it. I asked verizon to credit me for this add and they literally found it funny I spoke with super visor after super visor to find out that the sales rep Michelle cheetam forged my signature earlier in the month on the incorrect add to ensure she received her sales commission before she quit working there.I spoke with her supervisors in her office who could care less.now I'm stuck with these add holes and must go to court to win this.Watch out for these sharks they are liars and thieves !

i was told that i had a 2 week grace period to cancel my account. The sales rep told me that he could guarantee me work within the 2 weeks.. they built my website wrong and i was getting calls for people looking for an accountant, plumber, HVAC, ect... i would ask them the number they were dialing and it wasnt even my number. They said they got it online.
It was coming close to the 2 weeks and no work and with all the website issues i had, i wanted to cancel.. My sales rep would not call me back or answer any emails. I tried his supervisor and all the way up the chain but no return call.. As soon as the grace period was up i recieved a call to try and straighten it out but now i was locked in...

Since then they have continued to bill me and no work.. i have tried to resolve this but no luck.. My credit was destroyed by this and i have lost my building supplier credit lines so now i have to pay for all my material up front.

Superpages is a scam and they do not care about their customers. i have documented emails and correspondence from supervisors and this sales rep showing that they were messsing up the whole time... If anyone has found an avenue to fix all this please help!

I got into a contract due to the deceptive marketing practices of this company. I was told that my business would appear on all search engines when people are looking for products or services that are on my keyword list. So I updated my keywords and agreed for a $80 (approx) billing per month. Two days later, I have noticed that my business was not appearing on any search engines and sent an e-mail to my representative There was no response.

Then I got busy and did not get back to it till I received a bill from them. Then I checked again to see if the business would appear on the search engines and it did not. This time I called them and was told that I did not sign up for that service though they do offer the service and had a 1 year contract with them for listing in superpages.com. I sent them an e-mail to opt-out of the contract. They would not take me off the contract.

1. The representative lied about the service on offer.

2. I had no idea that the agreement was binding for 1 year.

I contacted the customer service dept and billing dept couple of times and was promised that some one would call back each time. One time someone called and said that they will send it to "security department" for further investigation. Again did not get a call for about a month. I called them again and I am being told that the contarct is binding and there is nothing they can do about that. I will take it to every forum possible. They are clearly knowingly deceptive and shameless.

I am also wondering if anyone on this forum had their issue resolved by replying to the company response. I really doubt it.

We are ending our contract with Idearc aka Superpages advertizing. We did not have a single call. Average cost was just under $500.00 a month. Nearly broke our firm. At one point we asked for, and received a copy of the $2.50 pay per each click billing for about a 45 day period. 90% of the charges were for words and single letters that could NEVER have brought any business to our company. I don't think we were supposed to see that list. But we did and we still have it. Someone there was likely in trouble for sending it. If you are fighting with this group, you must get your hands on your Click Keyword List. That is where they are cheating their clients. I don't have the cash to take them to court right now but I will soon, and hope to get this corrupt company closed down. I have worked all my life as an honest business man and by gosh I won't stand by while a huge company such as Idearc - Superpages rips off clients and treats them like dirt when they complain. Game over Idearc, I am telling the world what you did.

I just received an unsolicited phone call from a woman who was seeking information about a supposed listing of my residence on Superpages.

I simply stated that we have no listing on SuperPages, nor had we even heard of such a thing prior to the phone call.

She ignored me and asked if my phone number was a house or business, to which I promptly replied that it was none of her business and hung up the phone.

This company is the WORST! No one knows what they are doing and all you get is a run around. They do not back up product, they do not get back to you. Each time you call them the problem you have gets worst. It is almost like they do this because they do not like you calling. Told 24 hours to reslove a Major Problem. SuperPages.com Cannot Get The Work Done

Mike is not even a shadow of a contractor, he can barely do the work when he does show up (which is rare). Some of his crew seem incapable of even trivial tasks that we hired them to do such as mudding drywall which seemed to be a form of rocket science to them that they could not grasp. Mike is not at all knowledgable of the basics and after hiring him he said to us that he has to babysit his workers yet when we were considering him initially he had the highest praise for them and all of their abilities. The only thing that he knows how to do is utilize shortcuts like caulking in trim boards that are incorrectly nailed to the walls. He has more excuses than anyone that we have ever met, life happens, we understand that, but everyday it is something new and some promise of how they'll be there and yet they still don't show up (rest assured, there is another excuse in their place) If you want to overpay for poor quality work that may never be completed, then by all means, Mike is your man. This "contractor" only knows how to use the phone when he wants payment (1/3 at start, mid-way and completion) or when he wants you to buy supplies that he will never use or possibly just doesn't know how to use, when you do hear from him it's via text messages that stop at the first sign of your dissatisfaction. If you've hired him, good luck... if you haven't, you're lucky!

Do NOT waste your time with Mike. All he does is make excuses as to why he can not show up. And when he actually shows up, it is the worst job EVER. He wasted so much of my time. I am currently taking him to court. All he tells is lies. It is just him that pretends he will come and do work for you.

SuperPages.com Not fair to those who want to consider reviews when determining what business to use

When complaining in the "write a review" secton regarding two carpet cleaning businesses in Olympia, WA, I discovered that, two weeks later, newer reviews were included with that business but not mine. Whether true or not, I couldn't say, but it sure looks like the businesses get to decide what reviews they'd like to keep. Not exactly a good system, not fair to those who want to consider reviews when determining what business to use.

SuperPages.com You don't want to waste money and time here

I have had a very poor business experience with "Supermedia". I don't want to have to pay you to listen to all of the many errors that they have made. I am still trying to get them to reimburse me for $700 of over-charges. This has been going on for months. Please post this review to as many review sites as possible:

I decided to take a much closer look at our marketing efforts. One of these efforts included the decision to try " Superpages.com ." I was given plenty of promises and even decided to have them produce a short video for our www/superpages.com ad.

I never post reviews but this one might help others from making the same mistake. My main contact rep was Eden Pond. This was nothing but a game to him. The culture at Supermedia (the entity that handles Superpages.com) is callous. Mr. Pond and Supermedia stole $700 from me. Looks like I have to file a claim or something.

I have since canceled my account and I will spend those ad budget dollars at Google or Dex. I have spent 200 hours dealing with Superpages. Trust me - run. You don't want to waste money and time here. And how many "clicks" to our website in the last 6 months? About 10. And it isn't that they called us instead. Superpages.com didn't even list our phone number!

SuperPages.com They shoved the $900 bill in my face and forced me to pay it

When I called to cancel, they said, "Just give it a few more weeks for leads to build up." I said, "Will I still be able to cancel if I choose to then?" "Absolutely! Don't worry about that." 2 weeks later, "I would like to cancel." "Sorry, it's too late to cancel." I went up to highest management and filed bbb complaint, NO HELP FROM SUPERPAGES! They still shoved the $900 bill in my face and forced me to pay it.

SuperPages.com No results from high cost advertising

I agreed to start an internet advertising ad PCC(PAY PER CLICK), after getting a call from the company that represents Superpages, IDEARC. But, they recently have changed names.
After you sign up for a free listing with superpages they call you and get you to a agree costly ad campaign. I was told that I would build up my business with a lot of calls for jobs. The Result was Nothing.

I received no calls(maybe one) from the ad costing over $400.00 dollars a month that I am paying a month. They maxed out my credit card, and now they are sending me written mailed overdue statements. I want them to 1- cancel my contract and 2 pay me back for all that they stole from my credit card. The credit card has been cancelled from the charges that made to it. It is an overseas credit card, so I do not have USA consumer protection. But they did not even check the billing address, code on the back. They just wanted a CC# to go against and charge..and charge...and charge.

I just want to agree with all that the people are writing on this site, about superpages, they are are not reliable! I could go on and on. But other people on this site http://www.complaintsboard.com have said it better than me. I agree with all that has been said.

I think personally that the clicks are bogus. They do not document where the IP that the clicks are coming from.

This is a company that you should not deal with!

I think that a class suit should be started to help people get their money back from SUPERPAGES. I can not believe that such a large scam has gone on for so long.

I read a testimonial from a former employee, that explains it all. She is right.

I have called superpages and told them that I want out of my contract now, and my money back. Lets see what happens. I will keep you posted!

EJ Dallas Area, I was stiffed by Superpages.

SuperPages.com scammed verbal agreement for advertising

In September of 2009, a “Matt” called me while I was busy at work. I did not keep track of the date because I did not think to, nor did I think a phone conversation was an issue. He proceeded to tell me about his advertising company and how they could set my company up with a free website with the picture I provide… I was interested in finding out how and told him to call me again on Friday. From there Matt said, hold on, we just need to verify some company information first. He then said he was transferring me to someone who could do that and she began to ask me information . . . I said I wasn’t sure I wanted to proceed with the phone conversation and Matt came back on and said “just get through this, we need to verify information and we will workout the details later” – I was not really paying attention to the call anymore, as I was just being polite, thinking they would call me again on Friday. I confirmed my company info and was told I would get a phone call again from Matt on Friday. I didn’t receive that call, instead a few weeks later, I got a bill for $670 for advertising I did not authorize or approve. I am disputing this as I did NOT approve it. This initial phone call was not an agreement to do anything I was told would be called back on Friday. The whole thing IS A SCAM. Now, I have to take time out of my work day to take care of this, not to mention the stress that has come along with receiving a $670 bill from some company that has only called me once. AND they are also claiming to have sent me leads for my company and I am being charged $4.00 a lead – of which I have not received any lead information. This is a SCAM COMPANY with various names. Idearc Media LLC or superpages.com business solutions – The Official Publisher of Verizon Print Directories - . BE AWARE!

I have read many reviews of Idearc/Superpages.com from many angry customers that feel that have been ripped off, but have not really read any solid explanations of why Idearc/Superpages.com is a rip off. My name is Lisa, I work for the company in Everett, WA and have done the research to know why. It is my hope that by divulging the truth someone will be...

SuperPages.com Online scam

I was just starting an Internet business when I was contacted by a telephone marketer from SuperPages.com one day. I was interested in promoting my new business, but I also knew that I had no preconceived notion of what my success rate was going to be. I specifically asked about the ability to opt-out of the relationship. If this form of advertising worked, I would be happy to go forward with the marketing plan. But since I was just getting started, I wanted the option to jump out of anything that wasn't working for me.

The rep assured me that I could change the advertising around, or opt-out altogether, if the marketing plan was unsuccessful in bringing sales to my new website. This, she told me, was the magic of advertising electronically, as opposed to yellow pages in the traditional print form, that we could make changes any time. So I agreed to try advertising with SuperPages.com for $86 per month. The rep 'threw in' two free months with my package. Later, as it turned out, I discovered that those 'two free months' were at the end of a year's contract -- but I decided to look the other way on that one, and just chalk that up to some misunderstanding.

At the end of the first month, I had received two (2) visitors to my website through Superpages.com (according to their own metrics and, obviously, paying $86 for two visitors was going to be way too much. So I contacted SuperPages.com, paid the bill for the month, and asked to opt-out of the rest of the agreement. They knew nothing of this opt-out clause, they firmly assured me that no such option existed, and they were intending to hold me liable for the next eleven months at $86 per month with no choices, no options, no way out.

When I tried to get assistance, no one seemed to want to help. When I tried to cancel because I was frustrated with the lack of assistance, I was transfered to 5 different people who all told me that they could not do cancellations.

Too much more to write about.

Don't sign up because they will never let you out. They still claim I owe them money from a service I cancelled a year ago but they kept billing me for. Don't click in because you will never get out!

I started an ad w/superpages.com, I think this was/is/very possibly...A scam...
a scam with miss spelling(unprofessional),
No relative explination, representation of what I did, (misleading), no information in appearence,
wrong E-mail(unprofessional), no stamp of approval> (so called (supergurantee)
I was led to believe it would be endorsed>WRONG!
If anyone is thinking of doing business with them,
Do yourself a favor visit (superpagesfraud) I did but, it was too late,
Dont let them bury your screwed up add where,
you will remain stagnate and have to pay someone
for putting you in a cold dark place where no one goes. A very futile & costly mistake on my part!

Superpages.com has called me over and over about buying online ads. They start off by calling you with someone who can barely speak your language and then spend five minutes reviewing you listing. When they finish they transfer you to a supervisor. The most recent time the guy came on the line and said "hello" with lots of noise and other languages being spoken in the background.

He proceeded to read from some canned material and asked me elementary questions to get me to say yes. The oldest sales technique in the book. Very poor sales pitch. Then when I told him I wasn't interested in their service for our company he acted like I was dumb and questioned my authority to make decisions for the ad choices of the company I work for.

When I asked me to remove me from their solicitation list he said I will have to get your full name and title for that and you will have to take full responsibility for it. "Okay!" I said. Then after I gave him the info he said. " You are taking full responsibility, m'am". Darn straight!

Superpages.com get your act together. When you're dealing with businesses you don't use the same shameful tactics as a snake oil salesman.

I was told by this company that I could try their web listing for 30 days for free. If I was not satisfied I could cancel in 30 days. I called on day 30 to cancel and was told it was canceled. I then begin getting billing (at the wrong address). I continue to call to request the service be canceled (by the way - this entire time I got ZERO referrals from their listing). I now am being threatened with a collection agency and no matter who I talk with, no one will adjust the bill even though they show I called within the 30 days, they are trying to say I only had a15 day trial. Who needs a trial for 15 days? That's not long enough to tell if it even works! They have nothing on file that say I ever agreed to a 15 or 30 day trial but they are now trying to hold my credit hostage with threats of collections. I hope someone knows how to stop them. This is ridiculous!

BEWARE OF SUPERPAGES!

Please forward the complaint to the address below.

Ripped Off By Verizon Superpages
Jan. 24, 2017

Verizon SuperPages.com
6665 N MacArthur Blvd.
Third Floor MC33
Irving, Texas
Email: vzicareasc@verizon.com

In SuperPages cover letter on the contract I received states “You’ve made a smart business investment by advertising on SuperPages.com. Now that you’ve joined the #1 online yellow pages with , it will be easer for potential customers to find you.” (The punctuation error after with is theirs, not mine)

Ripped off: Below is the Ad I ended up with for $75.00 a month on SuperPages.

The Cruise Princess
901 N Fisk Ave Pmb 146, Brownwood, TX 76801
[protected]

The Ad should have also had our website www.thecruiseprincess and our company slogan “The Right Cruise For You!” per my conversation with the salesman. The contract has states the the website URL www.thecruiseprincess.com will be in the Ad but the didn’t add our tag line phrase as mentioned about.

I verbally agreed on Dec. 19. and was told the Ad wouldn’t be posted until a couple of weeks and most likely after the first of the year. When I went and checked the Ad after the first of the year I was extremely dissatisfied with the content. I immediately sent a FAX for termination but was told when I contacted SuperPages by phone that the 14 days to cancel had expired. So now SuperPages billed me for three months for the Ad for a total of $231.00

Not only does the Ad stink to high heaven, it is buried under 8 national advertisers so that any potential customer would select before our illustrious Ad.

When speaking with SuperPages personnel including management, they came off as impersonal and not concerned that they had an upset customer. When speaking with Brian (Manager) I told him that I do whatever I can to make sure my customers are satisfied and get what they expect because I want their repeat business. Brian said, “You mean to tell me that ever person you sell a cruise to is happy.” I worked in customer service related businesses for thirty years and I would have been fired on the spot for treating a customer in that manner. Another point is that I have more than one business which I provide above and beyond great customer service.

1. I am requesting a full refund of $231.00 from Verizon’s SuperPages.

2. I also recommend that SuperPages changes the way the do business in order to become a company, which provides what they promise in all their promotional words. When SuperPages makes a mistake they make the customer pay for it.

3. How about contacting the customer when their Ad is posted and make as much effort reviewing the Ad with the customer as they do in getting you to sign up with them in the first place. And do all this before they bill you.

4. Stop making your customers pay for your mistakes.

Yes, they got my money but they didn’t get my business.

I would recommend they change the name from SuperPages to SuperDupeYouPages.

Beware of SuperPages…because it’s not super at all.

I signed up with Shane Dinger for the video and a Tier 2 placement for improved search options. Shane told me my phone would be ringing and when I asked him about the length of the contract he said it was 12 months. When I asked him about getting out of the contract, he told me if I paid with a credit card and I canceled it, there was nothing they could do about that. Guess what? They told me they were going to send me to collections when I told them I wanted to cancel the contract. Shane told me they promised 25 clicks per a month. SO WHAT! Clicks don't make the phone ring. I've had this contract for over three months and haven't gotten one phone call off the ad on line. When I told him I wanted to cancel, he said I only had 21 days from the beginning of the contract and "sorry, it's been over 21 days". I tried to get in touch with him for over two weeks and he wouldn't return my calls or emails. This company is a total scam! I'm going to report them to the BBB and the Attorney General's Office for failure to produce what was promised.

They did the same thing to me and I'm not going to pay for services I never received. I asked them to send a bill in the mail to turn over to my attorney, they refused. It's all smoke and mirrors, never anything on paper. I thought Superspages was a reputable company and it is not. Thinking about using DEX Tbis time transaction will not be done over the phone and I guarantee they will not be getting my credit card number!

SuperPages.com Fraud and scam

I had used Superpages pay per click program for 7 years. The way it works is you set your budget and they're suppose to stay within that budget. After a year or two I got to the point where I had set my budget perfectly to last most of the month if not all. In the past I have had average results (good enough to continue). I had checked my budget around the 15th of August and it was roughly were it should have been, around half. About four days later I had received an e-mail proclaiming my budget was spent. I had immediately contacted them to inquire about click abuse. They inferred it was impossible although they didn't seem to know how to check on it or even provide a report. I then decide to call a few friends who also advertise with them. They all confirmed an uncommonly high click rate, as well, with little or no customer response. I had then called a number of competitors, that are of acquaintance, who also advertise this way. They had reported the same activity. I can't prove any malfeasance on their behalf but I feel that this would happen again. Me and several of my friends have pulled our accounts with Superpages not only because of this suspicious activity but also their apathetic response. If you're a small business owner stay away from this company. You'll save money and time.

A Cammile Rucker at Superpages.com called me stating they were offering a pay per phone call program for advertising for my company. We specifically discussed that i had no interest in a pay per click campaign as i knew the fraud associated with this and said i would be interested in working with them on a pay per call campaign. They signed me up and a week later 30% of my $500.00 budget was spent before i even knew my account was active on pay per click!

When i called Cammile she told me after the fact that they no longer offered a pay per call campaign and pay per click would make me more money?! So out of the gate she was a liar! Why would she deviously lie to me? Superpages concepts to gain a customer were devious from the time she called my business phone. I put my account on pause as they were just taking money from my account, some days later my account had been unpaused by someone there and when I logged in several days later they had nearly spent $300.00 in less than 2 weeks! So i called Cammile Rucker Again and she assured me that all my competition was making mad money with the pay per click?! AGAIN I signed up for the Pay per phone call meaning everytime my phone rang, they got paid for their service. Cammile Rucker told me that I had agreed to a pay per click campaign Which was a lie!

I have contacted many supervisors and they will not assist me in closing the account that was deviously set up by lies. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PERIOD. The Wonderful thing is i have recorded every phone conversation and will be suing the Superpages as well as joining the Class Action Law Suite against Verizon. I will also be launching Billboards in Atlanta Stating Superpages.com LIES Joint The Class Action Lawsuite Today!

Don't even talk to them on the phone. I spoke to Matthew and clearly told him I didn't want to pay for advertising as I never had to before and handed the phone back to my husband whom Matthew duped into believing something was free then recorded his voice authorizing a 12 month contract that they are saying we are responsible for. Both my husband and I remember the conversation and we positively did not want to spend any money. So they recorded only what they needed to stick it to us and we have not even been sent any information about what we are paying for. They want to tell me now to go look here and see because your responsible for paying for it anyway.

SuperPages.com Fake traffic to my website

I recently singed up for an internet ad with superpage.com because at the time the sales rep contacted me I could see in Google Analytics that my website was getting a lot of traffic from superpages.com. After signing up I continued to get a lot of traffic for the 14 day trial period. After the trial period ended my traffic dropped to nothing. I called and tried to cancel but they told me I could not so I made changes to my ad so it would be "robust". I continue to get no traffic 3 months out and have tried 5 times to cancel without luck.
I now feel that I was set up. That the sales rep was my only traffic. That he was generating fake referrals from superpages so he could sell me the ad. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anywhere I can go to do more research on this?

Any info that anyone has on this would be very helpful.
Thank you
Aaron

Totally agree, this is a BIG SCAM. We are dealing with exactly the same situation here, although we ASKED to cancel the listing 2 days after signing and they ignored our cancellation. Since we track all our incoming clicks to our server from the referrer URL, we found that visits from our listings were ALL fake.

The IDEARC sales representative told me (His name is Erik deChattonayree, avoid that ###, he's totally a liar), we were getting clicks from "affiliate" websites, which happened to be automated clicks from several shady sites with domains like "truelocallistingz.com" and other zombie websites, who happened to be ALL hosted at the same IP address, and their registration is hidden behind an anonymous proxy.

Anyway, this was just the beginning of the nightmare. They didn't cancel the listing, and sent us bills for $375, which obviously we're not going to pay. We already reported this to the Attorney General in Washington State (the sales representative is located in Seattle). I talked to an IDEARC media executive, but they ignored me. So, this company might be bankrupt now, but oh boy they know how to do scams!

DON'T SIGN FOR ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. It is like selling your soul to the devil, but these guys are more evil.

We signed up for a basic StupidPages.com ad a few years ago and didn't have any problems. Upgraded to a "Starter Pack" ($55 month) in Sept. '07--didn't see any identifiable benefit for the added $35 month.
April '08 the rep talked us into a pay-per-click program with a $200 month cap. Two months later our bill went from $55 (Jan-May '08) to $98 (June) to $182 (July). I called the rep to find out why it kept doubling and got some stupid song and dance from, him. He did make some changes and the bill went down to $121 (Aug) and $117 (Sept). He tried to tell me that we were getting a lot of clicks to our site resulting in lot of new business. He also tried to tell me that we get more calls from our phone book ad then from the internet and that the majority our internet leads have come from their site and not from the other free sites we are listed with! He can PROVE that! I keep REALLY good records and he is full of crap! Our web guru who is optimizing and tweaking our website said we are duplicating our efforts and this ad campaign is a waste of our money. We've called the IDEARC rep at least 3 times to either back this campaign off or cancel it. He is a fast talker and a bully and VERY hard to understand. The last time I talked to him I finally said "Since the book will be going to print soon, back that off to a single bold line ad . I can still change the internet ad any time I want in the future, right?" He said "yes, that is correct" so I confirmed the changes to the phone book ad and planned to call back later about the internet ad. Well, it is now 2-3 weeks later and we called to cancel the P-P-C campaign. They are saying we can't cancel because it has been longer then 14 days and that I confirmed via voice authorization. They want to meet with us to discuss the campaign and see if there is anyway to make it work better. This sounds a lot like the YellowPages.com scam to me! I WILL NOT GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT! AAAHHH!

This is 100% accurate. We tracked over $800.00 in clicks to our site. The average time spent on our site was less than 1 second. It is fraudulent traffic for sure.

We called and canceled the PPC campaign and they still ran our ads for another 30 days and refused to refund our money.

They claimed we did not call although they do have records of our emails. But their response to our email was that their response to our email stated that we had to call them. I am not sure how legal that argument is, but that is the argument that they use. So email communications with Superpages apparently mean absolutely nothing.

Somebody needs to put together a class action law suit agains idearc and superpages. The real issue is most likely their loose agreements to distribute the ads with their partner sites.

I am on the phone with SuperPages.com right now. I got transferred 4 times trying to get a credit and now I am canceling our listing.
The operator is not able to send me an email confirming the cancellation. All that he can do is provide a confirmation number.
This is beautiful how they have a no record process set up. They do not record anything against your company name or account id.
I guess it is your responsibility to record the call and record the conversation as to what is said and what is done.

2008 and SuperPages customer representative cannot send out an email! How is that for top notch customer service!

Unreal. Save your money and go to google and yahoo keyword advertising.

SuperPages is a fraudulent company with respect to PPC.

SuperPages.com Unauthorized charges!

I canceled my account and was charge for 6 more months! I spoke to a sales manager and he stated at least 5 times via phone that my account was closed and that I would be refunded all incorrect billing. Not only did I KEEP getting change, when I spoke to billing they said the sales manager Fazzle Ramzan (spelling?) never did anything! Get everything in writing and call the BBB.
