Sunwing Travel Group review: sunwing group weddings

Hello.
My son is having a destination wedding in Cancun Mexico, staying at the Royalton Riviera, Jan 14-21 2019 via Sunwing Group Weddings. Booking [protected]
Approximately 28 people are going. Somehow, approximately half the group was split up on 2 different flights with about 2 weeks notice.
My husband and I along with my other grown children, including his Aunt and Uncle are on different flights then the rest of the wedding party, ( including my son the groom.) I find this very upsetting as we have a 5 month old granddaughter ( the grooms child) also on on a different flight than her grandparents, which means myself and family can not assist with the baby while on the plane, or be all together as a group.

We booked at least 7 or 8 months in advance and really can not understand the mix up especially when booking through "Sunwing Group Weddings."

"Rocky" was very understanding and very kind on the phone, and some travellers where compensated with seat payment and priority boarding, which was very nice of him, ( not me of course as I had prepaid for Elite plus months prior when I booked) but needless to say, I am somewhat saddened we can not be all together as a group, which was our initial intention, as we are celebrating a once in lifetime occasion.
