I received a postcard stating that I had been selected to receive an 8 day/7 night cruise and if I responded within 72 hours two free airline tickets to any where in the U.S. When I called I was told that I would have to attend a 90 minute presentation with no obligation to buy any thing. After arriving in Washington after a 90 minute drive we sat through the presentation asking you to join a travel club. We were passed from one level to the next after we would not agree to join. After three hours I finally cracked and agreed to join the club. When they were going over all the details we were told that we would have to send $500 within 30 days to the cruise company to hold the certificate and $50 to the airline company to hold the air tickets. This is not "free" to me. Then they started telling us how hard it would be to use the "free" tickets. The company does everything to make it almost impossible for you to take advantage of the trip. If we do not use this they will offer us a bonus on joining the travel club. I said yes just to get out of the place. I told them I had an awful headache and all I wanted was to get out of the place. I am so sorry that I did not get up and walk out of the place. This was a week ago and I am still sick. I can't sleep at night and I am so depressed . This cost me $5, 500. and we travel once a year. My husband is retired and I will retire soon. Once I retire we will never have the money to travel. I think Sunshine Company is a scam and all they want is your money and you get nothing for it. So we did not take advantage of the "free" trip because it would cost me $550 and got ripped off $5, 500.

You can all get your money back through the Attorney General's office by filing a complaint against Sunshine Promotions, who have giving misleading statements to everyone regarding gift and the GCR Membership. You can get the same prices without GCR, who also reserves the right to cancel your vacation at the last minute. We cruised for 9 days this winter for $399.00 without their help. With the help of the Attorney General, we got our money back that we paid for the whole scam program. Here is where you fill out your complaint and numbers to reach the Attorney General in DC .

READ THIS FIRST & let it guide you in your writing, be accurate - Official court paper link : http://oag.dc.gov/DC/OAG/About+OAG/News+Room/Sunshine+Promotions+Complaint+and+Consent+Judgment
You can reach their office by calling : [protected] If you can not write it all on the form FAX the rest & link it to the title of your online complaint form: FAX #: [protected]

We went through the Attorney General and filled out online the complaint form and by being in touch with them by phone also, got our money back.
All of this is under Consumer Complaint.
The Very Best to All of you.

I am in the same situation as you! I am still waiting for any answer from Sunshine Promotions on this $498.00 for caribbean cruise for two. I have called and have an email train from back in Oct of last year! I work around the corner of their office and ready to stand outside and tell everyone of this false practice! I am so heart broken and fed up with their lies. I really wish I had never entered that building!

We got a promotion and address in Philadelphia after going to a 90 minute presentation by "Sunshine Travel Club" . We have not sent any money yet as I was doing research via the internet first. This appears to be a fraudulent scam based upon what I'm learning. Be aware of meetings held by Sunshine Travel Club who distributes similar promotions dealing with the same address and name: "Promotions".
