Sunoco employee @store2572

I'm making a complaint on Sunoco 2572 Employee Amanda. I observed in April around the 26 th to the 28th she was giving drinks and candy to certain customers. She was also seen drinking a beer out of a Sunoco cup. She also on July 9th cussing me and author customers out about ice. She talks crap about her manager and other employees to the customers. She is also talking crap about the employee who got robbed overnight. I feel like this isn't right if you review tapes I'm sure you will find it and more. I will not do business somewhere that has employees who are unprofessional. I also feel like the girl who got robbed was a sweet person who went out her way for her customers. Amanda also tried to purchase drugs from a working girl who comes in quite frequently I overheard her talking about it. This is a disgrace to your company.

Sunoco gopetro transport llc

This morning (June 27, 2017) at 6:20 am one of your trucks entered the north bound Sam Houston Tollway via the entrance ramp prior to the West Rd exit. Rather than remaining in the entrance exit lane until he could safely move over, he forced me into the lane of traffic to my left so that he could get over. My car was adjacent to the middle of the tanker when he began to move over. He did not brake or retract (as if he accidentally didn't see me), rather, he very purposefully kept going until I was forced to brake or move into the traffic to my left. His actions were dangerous and unnecessary as he would have had plenty of time to move over before the exit. His placard was on 1203. I have a healthy respect for transport vehicles as the current company I work for operates heavy haul trucks and for 13 years prior to that I worked for a company with fuel and lubricant haulers. Regarding a resolution, I think perhaps the driver needs to sit through a safety course (in Spanish if necessary) and I would like an apology.

Sunoco assistant manager

4711 S Detroit And Trail Toledo, OH 43614 - Stopped into this service station on June 18th at 7:30am to pick up something to drink. My bill came to $7 and some change. I had given the assistant manage a 5 and 3 ones. Realizing I need that for change I asked if I could pay using a ten so I may have change. The rude assistant manager state that they do not make change and would not let me pay with a ten dollar bill. This person was not very friendly towards a paying customer and seem more concerned about her appearance. She was more concerned about how her hair looked and dressed like she had gone bar hopping the night before. I cannot believe that your company would condone this type of treatment to a paying customer. I will not be going to Sunoco until I receive an apology and explanation to why customer cannot have change.

Sunoco rewards not credited

On 5/31/17, I purchased gas at the Sunoco Gas Station, 477 Delaware Ave, Albany NY 12209. I presented my Price Chopper Card to the attendant prior to pumping the gas. I also deposited $22.00 with the attendant. I earned .30 cents off per gallon in PC rewards. The rewards amounted to $2.31. The attendant failed to deduct the $2.31 from the sale and failed to provide me with a receipt. Accordingly the attendant stole $2.31 from me and Price Chopper. This is the second time that I have been ripped off by this Sunoco gas station and it will be the last. I will no longer do business with the ignorant despicable thieves that work at this Sunoco gas station. I want my complaint to be investigated and the guilty parties terminated from their employment. I wonder how many other people they have cheated out of their rewards?

Sunoco gas station attendant

On May 25th, 2017 at 12:20, I attempted to get regular gasoline at the Sunoco Gas Station at King's Highway and US Route 40 in Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey. I asked the attendant to please enter my telephone number before filling the tank as I am an Acme Markets Gas Rewards participant. I have previously used the rewards program at this station but the last time was told my number did not come up, which I disregarded as a fluke. However, on the 25th, the attendant entered the number then told me I could not fill up unless I paid cash. No credit cards could be used. As I do not carry cash, I had no recourse but to drive to the Wawa Gas Station 2 miles away. But as the attendant was addressing the customer on the other side of the pump, who was also providing a telephone number, the attendant took his credit card and inserted it into the pump. My question is WHY was that customer allowed to provided telephone number and credit card but I was declined? Is this a double standard? I reported the incident to the Acme and was asked by their representative, to send an email of complaint to both companies, in an effort to get resolution. I should also mention that I tried to use the gas rewards at the Hopewell Sunoco station earlier in May (they were flying banners that indicate they are participating) and was told by the attendant that he "...didn't have time for all that, so did I want gas or not?" Initially I felt this was a great combination to team Acme and Sunoco. Now I'm wishing they would team with another fuel provider. Sincerely, Linda Massey

Sunoco "store policy"

On 05/17/2017 at approximately 3pm I went into the Sunoco store on Chester Road (11585 Chester Road, Cincinnati, OH, 45246) to purchase a pack of cigarettes like I do most days as it is down the road from my office.

The lady asked me for my ID. I complied and handed her my Ohio Drivers license, she then went to scan it through a card reader device. I asked her please to not scan it as it will pull my personal info from it such as address etc. and I do not see a need for Sunoco to have that information as all they need is my age.

The lady responded that it is store policy. I asked since when? As I have been using this store for some time and have never been asked for my id before. EVER. I am 6' 3", 350lbs, have graying hair and am 40 years old.

I stated "I was in here yesterday and you didn't ID me then, so why now all of a sudden is it store policy?" At which point Anthony who was stocking shelves behind me stated that it is store policy to prevent the use of fake ID's.

I stated that she can check my ID, my age, my picture and the hologram that is embossed into Ohio ID's and that proves it is real and that should suffice. At which point she refused to sell the cigarettes even though she just verified my age by looking at my DOB. Again, I stated I was just in here yesterday and both the lady and Anthony said that "They don't know me, they don't know who I am. Do you know me? Do you know her? (implying the lady behind the counter), in a very rude derogatory tone. I said I do not know them.

At this point I had wasted enough time over a pack of cigarettes and I said "ok, run the frickin' thing then". At this point Anthony said I should leave and that I am never to come back. I said fine, I will. So I did.

I drove to the store next door and bought my cigarettes from Ameristop. I felt wronged, so I decided to go back and ask for the managers name and store number so I can write a complaint. By this point Anthony was outside taking some trash out and he saw me and asked what I wanted. I said that I would like his name, the managers name and the store number.
Anthony said he name was Anthony, I asked for a last name, he refused. I asked or a business card and was about to walk into the store to get one of the counter as most gas stations have that and he told me that If I enter the store he will call the Police. I consider that a threat. I was in no way breaking the law or being loud, abusive or rude like he was to me. He said the store address is on the outside of the building and that I have no need for more information. The store info was NOT on the outside of the building and Anthony when I asked him again for it, simply ignored me and walked inside.

It was extremely demeaning. So, what I took from this is that Sunoco employees are incapable of determining whether a state issued drivers license is real or not unless they scan it. Anthony's confrontational nature is what has prompted my complaint and trust me I do not have the time to write this kind of complaint out, but again I felt so strongly about rude and demeaning manner in which I was treated and the lies that they told me (the lie is that it is "store policy", when I was in there yesterday and both these same employees were there and neither of them ID'd me then).

I am interested to see whether you take this complaint seriously or not. Depending on your response and steps to be taken in regards to this complaint will determine my next course of action.

Sincerely

Gregor McCurrach

Sunoco manager

I've been coming to this store on my work breaks for years. About a month ago the whole atmosphere changed. The employees look sad and miserable now, when before they were always happy and smiling. The cooler is always empty looking. It was never like that before I could always come in there and get my favorite drink with my turkey sandwich with no problems. I haven't been able to get a turkey sandwich in over a month! The older lady with the black shirt is ignorant to me. It seems as if she intimidates the other workers. I used to go in the Latrobe store I remember her from there, I left that store because of her rudeness, and I did not approve of the way she treated her employees. I never see her do any work. She must be new at your Greensburg location because I don't remember seeing her until recently, but that explains the downfall of the store now and the sad faces of the employees. Say something along those lines but more professional.. because that kind of sounds like I'm talking from the inside .. and I need to be talking like a customer that doesn't know nancy personally ya know

Sunoco customer service

On Sunday, April 23rd, around 11:30am I pulled into the Joyce Kilmer station on the Jersey turnpike to get gas. The individual in front of me veered towards the left side of the bay, so I veered right, since it was a shorter line. The individual then comes behind me and stars honking the horn and causing a scene. She then gets out of her car, and starts banging my car and the window by where my child is sitting. I ignore her rants as my child is in the car and now scared of this woman. The woman gets back in her car and, who I suppose is the manager, walks up to her, she says something to him, he then walks up to my car and tells me I am being refused service for skipping the line. There were two distinct lines, I did not skip the line as this individual was initially waiting for the left side of the bay and I was on the right side! This woman throws a tantrum, assaults my vehicle, scared my child, and the manager did not even bother to ask me what transpired, I was simply told I was being refused service. I was victimized by a Sunoco customer and a Sunoco employee allowed this to occur, this is terrible customer service.

Sunoco ride attendant

I went to get gas in my brand new jeep grand cherokee at the sunoco on the parkway in Oceanview NJ. The guy walks over looking like he hated his job from the get go. I said fill it up regular please and handed him my Acme gas rewards card and my debit card. He put the pump in it started and popped out at 41 cents like it was full. So he continued to walk away which was fine I understand he was by himself, waiting on the other guy took his payment and when he went over to the car behind me to start pumping theirs all I did was open my door and say that the pumped clicked out when he walked away. He rudely said "I Know I am the only one here and I am not going to hold it". so he comes over and jams it in a couple of times and says see its going to keep doing this, there is something wrong with your gauges. I said just give me my card, he said ok hands me the card and says "Your Welcome".. well if he thinks that I am going to say anything to him after that he is out of his mind. I never once cursed at him until I started to pull away and I said I need my receipt, and he says "Its right there" so I had to get out and get it myself. Called the manager and he said he pulled the tapes and that I was out of my car and yelling at the guy. They are both LIARS. I only cursed at him when he said that the receipt was right there I got out and as I got it I said that he was f********* rude and he told me that I was... I want something done about this! and to top it off, I had 80 cents off a gallon with my gas rewards and it was taken away cause he pumped 3.15 worth.

Sunoco unethical behavior at sunoco in wayne nj

I've always filled up with premium gas at Sunoco. However I pulled into the Sunoco station at 560 Rt 46 in Wayne, NJ. I was charged $3.759 per gallon (premium). $1.00 per gallon more than any other Sunoco station I've been to. Foolish of me but I did'n't look at the posted price until filled up. I questioned the attendant about the price and he just smirked and ignored me. That is the last time I'll ever go to a Sunoco station.

Sunoco kitchen services

Hi, I walked into the "Stripes" located on Thomason (store number 242) on 04/11/2017 around 430pm before work and the lady prepping the food was not wearing any safety gloves. I did not order any food at that point. It's too many germs going around for someone in that position to not follow the safety rules. Pls let them know that's not a good look!

Sunoco employee / customer service

To whom it may concern,
I hope this message reaches the correct person and this issue gets addressed swiftly and appropriately! On the morning of March 22, 2017 at approximately 4:00am I Stephen Coleman pulled into the Sunoco located at 111 North Cove Ter Oxon Hill MD in desperate need of assistance, my tire went flat and I needed air in it. When I came in the Service station I was greeted by a man named Hillman. I asked him for change for a dollar so that I could get air. He stated to me that he couldn't open the register to give me change. I then asked him if I buy some candy then return it when he gives me my $ back instead of giving me my dollar bill back just give it to me in quarters. He said, "NO NO NO if you buy something and return it I have to give you back the same money you gave me" I told him I'm sure that's not policy and that I don't believe that to be true. At that time he became very rude towards me yelling at me that I'm being difficult and that I don't work there and I don't know nothing. He then said get out I'm not giving you nothing and I'm about to call the police on you. I again explained to him that I couldn't leave or go anywhere because my tire is completely flat and that I need change to get air. At that time a lady pulled up to get gas. She came in and ordered her gas and the cashier opened the drawer. I attempted to hand the guy my dollar so I could then get change while the register was open he reached up and I let the dollar go but it fell on the Open register. He picked my dollar up and threw it across the counter at me on to the floor as he slammed the register closed while screaming I'm not giving you nothing, I don't like you, get out my store, I hope you never get home, I'm calling the police!
He then proceeded to call the police while screaming at me that I was going to jail! When the police arrived we both told them what happened and they told me that he has the right to refuse service and I had to walk to the McDonalds across the parking lot to get the change. The police said that they strongly urge me to report him and send an email letting the company know what has happened because they feel that the cashier was COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE.
In my 35 years of living I have NEVER been talked to like that ever in my entire life! I felt like I was disrespected to the utmost, degraded, verbally abused, feeling abandoned, and hurt. No human being should be talked to the way I was talked to or treated the way I was treated.
Something must be done about this travesty because I know for a fact that Sunco does not employ heartless people like that to represent there company brand and legacy. I've been a dedicated customer of Sunco for over 15 years. Even tho time has passed it still weighs heavy on my heart because if he did it to me I know he will and can stereotype people and do it to anyone.
Please I'm asking Please let something be done please stop him from destroying people's spirits.
I would also like some type of compensation for having to endure that type of abuse from your employee. At best a week suspension and retraining of what he is suppose to do in a customer service position or at worst Termination from that position completely. I pray this message reaches you in time before your employee demoralizes any further customers.

Sincerely,
A Heartbroken Customer

Sunoco aplus food service people

This morning, my husband and I went to Sunoco to get fuel and some breakfast. We ordered 2 sandwiches and paid while we waited. A few people ordered after us, and also stood in line. The 2 girls making the food kept looking at us while speaking a different language making it pretty obvious that they were talking about us. Literally every single person who came in after us got their food and left while we were still waiting. I asked how long before ours was ready since we ordered a while ago. I got a nasty look from her and she didn't answer me, walked away and proceeded to refill the plexi box with the pre-made sandwiches. I waited a minute and asked her again. She rudely responded that it'll be ready in a minute. After a few more minutes and speaking to the other csr in a different language while looking at me, my sandwich was ready. She put it aside (unwrapped) and started making other food! I finally had enough after 30mins of waiting and asked firmly to wrap it up and give it because I was done waiting. I go to that station almost every day. She has been consistently rude and I have yet to say something, but today was the last straw. I hope this issue can be resolved. My number is [protected]. Please call me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Kristina Calhoun

Sunoco anna :cashier attitude/store policy vs state law?

I go into my local Sunoco station, one I use to visit on a daily basis.
I went in with my mother for whom I'm caretaker.we have no car @this moment my mother is disabled and needs help when in town.
And like anyone else my mom would like to have a drink of wine @the end of the day.
The girl cashier(anna) at your 2810w.walmut street location in Johnson city tn.
Refused to sell my mom her wine she varied that and I had everything else but because I didn't have a valid i.d the cashier said it was law that she couldn't ring it up cause I didn't have I'd.i knew that applies to adults trying to buy for minors and such.didnt think it extended to caretakers helping their family out and doin right thing.
But this cashier has sold cig and alchole to me in past and always just asked my birthday.
Bit anyhow.
I thought the cashiers where to id for anything anytime. Hate to be a whistle blower but my mother don't have transportation and it's very hard for her to make it out even on rd a month. Think ur employee lack discipline, and training and an im better than u attitude
Next thing goin to BBB.
And always someone hanging out talking with employees.
So where does Sunoco stand on. Caretakers just helping their loved ones or caretakers just doin their job.i myself am 35 ur old.my mother ? .(thats something u don't ask)but I know she would like to take part in her civil liberties.and a store that make up rules or what they call "laws".to make their self feel superior than any else . Their was no scene made @store .im trying to go thru proper channels here.
Either everyone needs to be id everytime or you need to straighten this store out.
It is closest store and there are times I have to walk so I don't have much choice.otherr than to get this cleared up. Will be awaiting the change @stire or reply from a real person not an automaton.or auto rep once software.
Or recording .a real answer if u please.

Sunoco charged for unpumped gas

On December 15, 2016 around 5:30ish I was leaving my son's wrestling match and was unfamiliar with the area so I goggled the closet gas station so that I could get gas and head home on a very windy and cold night. My gap's showed me that Chamberlayne Farms operated by Sunoco and Auto, when I arrived I noticed the gas prices where higher than most so I decided to only put $10 in so I could get home and get the remaining else where. I sat in my vehicle while it pumped but never heard anything like I normally do.

I noticed on my gas reading that it never changed and went in to tell the gentleman working what had happened, he was one of the rudest people I have every dealt with. He took what I said and made it seem as if I was lying or was trying get one over on him. At one point while telling him what happened he just walked inside of the store with out saying anything to me. He then tells his manager and they tell me something is wrong with my car that it is not their pumps, but when they pumped another $10 in my gauge never moved. I made sure to pay for the gas and I was told by the rude man that he got off at 5:30 and I was holding him up which I apologized for since I didn't realize a gas station would be closing at prime time. I am disgusted on how I was treated when I was telling them they had a pump problem and how they handled the situation, and I will never go back.

After leaving there I went to another gas station Parham Pit Stop and put $20 with no problems.

Sunoco customer service

I am writting this to let you know how disgusted I am about the way my daughter was treated this evening at one of your stores. She just finished a 10 hour shift waitressing and wanted to buy cigarettes and enough gas to get home but all she had was her tip money on her. Thinking quarters are money she entered the store approached a not so friendly clerk by the name of "Tricia" who clearly showed her aggravation and frustration that my daughter was making her purchace and paying with quarters. She even stated we are about to close and your paying with change. Shame on you Sunoco you should probably train your clerks to be a bit more courteous to their customers. We will use Cumberland Farms from now on they accept our hard earned quarters.

Sunoco staff

Hello,

My name is emanuella another working class citizen, I was at the gas station last night. My husband went in to purchase cigarettes, but forgot his ID. The cashier Christine sold my husband cigarettes two days before that without any ID. My husband reminded her she did so and she began to then raise her voice. My husband came out to me and asked me to go in and get them. I went in the store and before I could even speak a word she began to yell at me about how she was not able to sell me cigarettes, and she needed his ID. Now I didn't even tell her what I wanted before she began to speak to me inappropriately. I get my husband forgot his ID but she sold him cigarettes before that's why he was surprised she was yelling and speaking inappropriately when she said no. Now I went in and she did this big scene for no reason, I was someone else trying to purchase something and she kept telling me how the policy was she needed his ID. How it was the law and she had to deny me service. Can someone please help me understand why that happened and why did she get so disrespectful. I didn't get to say one word before I was attacked about his ID and her boss said she couldn't. I would like to report her or something. I live a few blocks from the gas station and did go there often. I dont understand why this would be a problem
Well maybe someone can watch the video from last night 7/21/2016 after 10pm. This was the station on 245 Ontario street Cohoes NY 12047. Her name was Christine, she works at night.

Thank You
Emanuella

Got gas here for last 4 months. Everything was good except for today 4/29/2015 when I had to call the Police for being threatened verbally by the manager because he doesn't approve of me using only Pump # 3 at his station. I had bad results on more than 1 occasion giving me less gas than I paid for but Pump 3 seemed Ok. I liked the one assistant manager...

Sunoco id/cigarettes

First off, I understand that we ALL need Photo ID nowadays BUT, common sense I think is needed more. Our youth does not have any of it I'm afraid. I am a 40 year old male with grey hair, married with kids. I recently purchased gas from a local Sunoco station with my Corporate Sunoco gas card by doing so at the outside pump (no interaction with people and $40 purchase) when done, my son wants a snack and mother a pack of smokes, yeah I know its bad, I tell her all the time. Anyway, the young lady at the front who appears to be no older than 21 asks me for ID, I tell her I forgot my wallet at home nut I'm obviously over 18 here is my son, my Grey hairs I mean come on...Says back to me "sorry we must have ID" I say back to her " I go to other Sunoco stations and they don't even ask me for ID and it's ok that I just purchased $40 worth of gas on a credit card at the pump but I can't buy a pack of smokes for $9 and a candy bar without ID? " I ask for a manager and the manager backs up the employee! Mind you, he only looks to be 25 at best! Like I said in the beginning, I know its important to have ID today BUT where is the Common Sense? I am not anywhere near 18 nor am I wealthy, with cosmetic surgery to appear younger. I am simply a 40 yr. old man who went into a Sunoco store to buy cigarettes for his mother and a candy bar for his son simply to be turned away because I do not have ID to purchase the smokes! I just strongly believe that we need common sense in this store and many other places around the United States. Between the lack of Common Sense and the watchful Political Correctness we are doomed in the future. Thank you for allowing me to post this. I hope I get feedback.

It seems that you're the one lacking common sense. It is illegal to drive a car without your driver's license in your possession! Don't break the law and then expect someone else (the clerk at the gas station) to break the law and their employer's rules simply because you made a mistake. Welcome to the computer age. Nowadays, to complete a sale of an age-restricted product, like cigarettes, the sales clerk must enter your ID information into the cash register. Expecting the manager to make an exception for you because you are obviously a very special and important person is a prime example of how self-involved people are today.

I agree that it is common sense that you are over 18 but some newer cash registers require them to enter the ID info to complete the transaction. In some cases, these companies have been fined by the government for not getting ID for all purchases.

Instead of making a BIG deal out of something like this, why not act your age and just accept that they are doing the job the way they are ordered to do.
