Sunglass Hut International store closed during normal business hours.

Today I left work to meet my daughter at your Ridgedale Mall store in Minnetonka, MN. Upon arrival at the store there was a note on the door saying: "On Break - Back Soon". We waited about 30 minutes - the store still didn't open. Not even the courtesy of a time they would be back on the note. Left the mall to go back to work - no sunglasses. Sunglass Hut International never received my return in the amount of $369.33

I returned a pair of Prada mens sunglasses to your Centerra store in Loveland Colorado March 12, 2019 in the amount of $369.33... receipt #1044535, store 3504C. I was told to give it a few days for the return amount to hit my account. I waited a week and called Sunglass Hut to ask where my money was. They said, the money got put in my account. I called my bank and they said they have not received any money for that specific amount in my account. This went on for several days. I then went online and spoke to a customer service guy for Sunglass Hut and was told that this amount would be returned to me within 7-10 days in the mail. I was told to look for it in a plain white envelope with the return address of Luxottica's address on it. Today is April 1, 2019 and still no money in my account or in the mail. I personally have shoppped with Sunglass Hut for years and this has never happeneed before until now that I suggested my son shop at Sunglass Hut for a new pair of shades. I dont know what to do. I need that money. I returned the glasses in perfect condition and now I want my money. Please call me at [protected] or email me at [protected]@gmail.com with answers please,

Sunglass Hut International unethical behavior

Last night my family and I were at the Sunglass Hut 5707 located 8200 Vineland Ave, STE 1701, Orlando, FL 32821.

The salesperson by the name of Victor accused me of changing the price on a pair of sunglasses I was purchasing. I found this to be very insulting as my mother whom was present. I took a deep breath as there were other people around and I did not want to make a scene. We purchased 3 pairs of sunglasses last night and the one he accused me of changing I only came across the pricing as we were looking for a newer pair on the shelves since they were on sale and no inventory on them. I questioned him why is this tag cheaper on these glasses and that if I purchase them would he honor the price and his response was NO! you changed the price tag on them. I told him he can review the camera and he will see that I did not as my mother told him the same. Through out the purchase he continued to say he would charge me based on computer and not the tag on them and that I changed the price. I paid the price that rung up on the computer and still purchased the glasses but to accuse me of such thing or anyone is not acceptable unless he has proof or saw me do so. I told him I can buy the most expensive glasses you sell and I have the funds to buy more than a handful of them. I an not a thief and that is not my nature. Your employee needs to understand that he cannot accuse people of this act and not acceptable. Not only did he embarrass me but my family with his actions and words.

Sunglass Hut International customer service

My name is Adrianna Arian and I was in one of your stores on 12/23/2018 around 5pm. I had the intention of purchasing a pair of sunglasses. I tried a pair of sunglasses and asked your sales person if he thought they looked good. He responded in a snarky manner, " only if you buy them." I then processed to ask what his name was and he said Brandon. This sales associate blantly disrespected me in the store without any remorse. The store I visited at was in the Riverside Tyler Mall. I would like an apology from him. In addition, I will never step foot in any of your store if this is how they treat customers. Sunglass Hut International charged twice for the same transaction

It looks like Sunglass hut is running a scam by charging customers twice for the same transaction & prolonging the refund. I have read about this in several customer reviews. It cannot be a glitch in the system that cannot be rectified for such a long period of time. They charged me twice for the same transaction and after more than 20 days, I haven't still received a refund and their customer service is very unresponsive. It's like they do not care about customers at all or the fact that they are holding on to my money without the right to do so. I truly believe it is a scam and should be investigated.

Sunglass Hut International attendance

I got here exactly when the mall opened which was 10 am and I wanted to check out a pair of ray bands and nobody was there so I waited and waited and after 30 minutes I walked away and just went to Lens crafters. I just think it's ridiculous that nobody is attending the sunglasses booth. The person has already left the booth twice. I wouldn't buy from there again. And when I did return the male was sitting on the gate that you use to open the door. They never do anything . Wish I had a job like that.

Sunglass Hut International very poor customer service

I did experience the worst customer service ever
The sales representative was very rude I did email and submit the complaint more than once and I did ask if anyone can give me a call back and nothing totally being ignored
If you don't care about the customers and their complaints why even we waste our time and submit it
Your sales representative at Niagara on the lake outlet location is very very rude and the new manager has no control on her staff
The manager before this one was much more friendly
I did mention I left the store in tears because of your staff rudeness and nothing
That's very disappointing

Sunglass Hut International sunglasses

Hi yesterday just bought a new Oakley sunglasses $163, 00 on Sunglass hut store on Hillsdale mall and after the payment the Salesperson (Mirtha) just gave me a small Oakley bag without the boxe and wiper. She told me is a new policy from Oakley and if i want all the stuff I have to paying extra $25, 00. I always shopping on this store and never see this. The Oakley sunglasses was for me, but if was to somebody else? I'm supposed give without a boxe and wiper? Really? Is true? Once again I payed $163, 00 and got only the sunglass and small bag, that's it! I'm so frustrated!

Sunglass Hut International not telling the whole truth..

I recently bought a rayban sunglass from sunglass hut branch at Al Abdali Mall in Amman and to be exact on Feb 27, 2018 at a price JOD 177 and i was told that you can exchange it within a year with 50% discount toward a new one of what was paid. I went to Sunglass hut branh in Galaria Mall in Amman and store manager Mr. Salam told me that it is not possible unless the new sunglass are at equal value of what was purchased on more but not cheaper.
I told him clearly that this message was NEVER communicated when i bought it back in Feb 27, 2018 and this is unfair treatment and i demanded a solution.
The short answer was sorry the bar code will allow us to do so...

Sunglass Hut International customer service

I bought a pair of sunglasses at sunglass hut located at Macys in Vally Fair mall, so far it's being the worst experience I ever had with a retail . I work A Macys location one of my first jobs, and work retail previously. But never experience such poor customer service . The employees at time of purchase they are friendly but the moment I try to return a pair glasses they have give me such a hard time . No manager has help me or try to reach to me seems like I can't get someone to actually try to help me . I even reach out to their costumer service online . But instead of actually providing a solution, they offer me a discount on a next pair ! Everything that experience with this store so far it's being negative ! And no one willing to help . The manager at actual Macys store did reach to me and try to help me and she said she gived the manager for sunglass hut my info, but yet it's being days and he hasn't reach to me at all .

Sunglass Hut International men sun glasses

To whom it may concern,

I bought a pair of Giorgio Armani this last winter from the outlet collection at Niagra in Canada.

I was told that the pairs had polarized lens and they were heavy duty sunglasses. Unfortunately I was shocked when I was buying my summer sunglasses and the sales person showed me the difference between polarized and non polarized lenses so I was shocked. He told me that those ones that I bought were not polarized for sure.

On the other hand it hasn't been a year yet and the glasses started to break apart.

Attached you will find pictures of the receipt and the glasses purchased.

When you wear polarized sunglasses you can look at the bright road ahead as you drive and see into shiny water. This makes driving or fishing more enjoyable and comfortable for your eyes.

Sunglass Hut International terrible customer service never seen this before - vanessa (manager) sunglass hut store 1887 union st, san francisco, ca 94123

Would like to first mention how I very much enjoyed my purchasing experience with all employees at the store location mentioned in the title of this email.

I was advised during the purchase of my glasses that i would need to bring in the physical coupon (Sun Perks Member Exclusive coupon) to receive the benefit $50 off any purchase over $200 etc. Denise the manager along with the Security Guard and another team member advised that i would need to come into the store after the purchase, bring my coupon, receipt, ID and CC i purchased the glasses with and i would be rebated the amount. Totally fine i completely understood and went about my purchase of Versace Sunglasses.

I returned 5 days later with all the items that were requested of me and asked Vanessa if she would be so kind to assist me with my rebate. This is where i was deeply offended, embarrassed and harassed in front of other customers, the security guard and employees. Let me say again i had my drivers license, CC, receipt and coupon (please feel free to confirm with store colleagues and security guard). Vanessa refused to refund me because i didn't have the physical glasses with me! Vanessa told me she needed proof that i actually bought the glasses. PLEASE SEE ABOVE (i had my drivers license, CC, receipt and coupon) I asked to speak with the colleague who told me this was possible she mentioned to Vanessa that indeed Denise said it was OK and that we should refund him. Vanessa refused to listen to her team member, she began to waive her hands in my face (please view video footage incident happened 12pm 07/19/18), she continued to use a loud voice while other customers were shopping (creating a scene in the store) and told me i could not speak to anyone else cause she was the store manager. Well surely there would be someone else to talk to or she must report to someone. After she refused to help and insisted i come back for a 3rd time with the glasses she said her managers name was Tiffany.

You can only imagine the humility i felt after purchasing $300 glasses feeling like i was trying to scam the store. I cannot possible imagine this is the level of service you expect from your team leaders. i would hope that by reading this that Vanessa will be disciplined at some capacity. Please note i do not want ANY compensation or anything for FREE. I cant possibly find a way to ever shop with Sunglass Hut again.

I will be sending this to your corporate office with the hopes that this matter is taken very seriously and not lightly. I would like to Vanessa to know that i have never ever been treated with such disrespect, embarrassment in any establishment in my entire life. She has taken a life long customer away for good and i will make sure that my letter is viewed by as many outlets as possible.

I do expect that i hear from Sunglass Hut with in a reasonable time with an explanation or plan of action of some sort regarding this matter.

Sunglass Hut International sunglass

Dear team,

Please be informed that i have purchased a sunglass of Ralph Lauren on 10jun2018. After two weeks, coating on glass have started coming out. I went back to showroom to clear this issue. Firstly they were not admitting that coating started coming out. Secondly they have informed me that it will take 45 days to clear this issue with No assurance that issue will get resolve. I am really pissed off with the service..i have never expected this kind of response from brand like you.

Sunglass Hut International sunglasses

Hello,

I'm a Portuguese client who bought a pair of sunglasses at Gatwick airport in 17th May 2017.
I told to the Sunglass Hut employees that I was not interested in the exposition pair so they didn't sold me the one from the store. Instead, they picked up the exposition pair from Ray Ban Store and sold me that one.

Of course, when i noticed this (after 15minutes) I requested the refund, which was given to me.

However, I still lost money in the process:

I payed €144.78 but the refund was €138.30. Which means that I lost €6.48…I suppose that this difference is caused by the cambio taxes.

Anyway, I think that I should not be the one paying for pay this. I feel cheated

Sunglass Hut International Return / Refund process

The disaster began when I visited a local store, and found a pair of sunglasses that I would like to purchase. Store informed me that they only had the display unit in stock, so the rep went ahead and ordered a pair of sunglasses to ship to me.

Upon receipt of the order, I changed my mind, and returned the pair back to sunglass hut online store for full refund.

I received an email stating that the return was received on 6/21, and refund should be issued within the next 3-5 days.

I started getting a bit anxious by early July since the refund's still not received, so I started calling their customer service for an update. Every rep I've spoke with thus far has asked me to leave my name and contact phone number, and someone would be in touch within the next 24 hours, I've been given that promise for 2 weeks, and NO ONE has contacted me yet.

Where is my refund? That's become a million dollar question. Why is it so difficult to provide an update? The customer service department has not been helpful at all. They cant even check and advise when the refund's issued, if it's been issued at all.

I am a very dissatisfied customer, and do not intend to purchase from them again! Again, I still need my refund! That's my hard-earned $265!

I am in the same boat. I returned my item via mail and received confirmation on October 10, 2016 that they received my item and would issue a refund. It is now December 7, 2016, and I have yet to received any form of refund. I have called and emailed, yet I receive the same response in that they will process it immediately. Were you ever able to get your refund? If so, what did you have to do? I am seriously considering filing with the FTC and obtaining legal counsel.

Sunglass Hut International Fake sunglasses

I ordered 2 sets of Oakley sunglasses from this website. The order was prompt and the items were sent as described except that when it went through our border control it was confiscated, due to the fact the glasses were inspected and found to be fake. I originally thought this was an American company but subsequently found it was Malaysian based after further investigations. Silly me for being caught but there it is... I have attached the border control letter sent through with proof that the items were fake. Please don't publish any private details on this website as I have attached the letter sent from the UK border control.

Sunglass Hut International delivery never arrived

I ordered a pair of sunglasses over 4 weeks ago. They have not arrived. I have sent a number of emails to sunglass hut customer service and keep getting the same email back, saying 'they will come soon and customer satisfacetion is our number one priority'. I have received no notice as to what they will do about the fact that my sunglasses are in all probability lost. I first enquired about whether they could track my order 2 weeks ago and just keep getting the same response, that they should arrive any time now.

I sent them an email today saying: 'Further to my last email, my parcel has still not arrived and given that it is now 4 weeks since I ordered, I believe that it will not be arriving at all. Please do not reply by asking me how my day is. Please do not thank me for my patience and tell me that customers are your number one priority and that my parcel should arrive any time now. None of these things are true. I now demand that you forward my emails to your manager and address my immediate concerns. I would like you to refund my purchase and intend to take this matter further.

I am extremely frustrated and would now like to take action to either recover my payment. I would prefer to receive the glases but am past believing that that wiill ever happen. I am a lawyer and have never before had this type of experience and needless to say, I'm extremely dissatisfied and would like action to be taken to ensure that these jokers do their job rather than simply telling me the same thing over and over. It seems that they have not even tried to track the parcel.

Sunglass Hut International Scam

I ordered a pair of sunglasses in April 28 2012. They took a month to get here and when they did they were:
Not the model I ordered
Scratched
Inferior quality (the lens has cracks all across them)

I contacted them 4 times by email about the delivery of my order (tracking number provided was incorrect) to no avail. In addition to this I have emailed them three times about returning the glasses and getting a refund and have not recieved a response. (Emailed once a week) In addition to this I was charged another $96.90 from DGP media group at the same date and time as the transaction for my sunglasses. This webiste is fraudulent and should be shut down!

This is a website company clearly based in china they sell sunglasses under the name of the sunglass giant Sunglass hut but little did I knew they were fake. Someone told me sunglass hut was having a sale and I unfortunately found this site upon google. The website describe as 90-95% sale which is ending next Monday and of course this sale never ends . I bought not one but two of the sunglasses shown but when I got them they were a cheap counterfeit without doubt and entirely different from pictures shown. When contacted the company which they say will refund in 7 days they have took 5 days to reply with an automated reply they are contacting manufacturer for mistake they made . They also asked me for pictures but I have little hope. I wish there would be some law against these Chinese fraud sites they rob people of money and get away with it. Please please be warned & never buy unless you r 100% sure.

I bought 2 Oakley sunglasses from the guys are well. And they are all FAKE! Suspected this when I received the sunglasses from China.
Realypay equested me to send photos. But when I did, I had a reply from Kate Winslet (from wholesalemall@hotmail.com) claiming that they were authentic Oakleys. I could tell that they are cheap imitations from the Oakley printed logo itself. Really disappointed to be cheated.
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Wish that I've read about this before I made the purchase. Really expensive lesson learned...

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This is a theft and fraudulent fake company. This site is fraudulent. I ordered a pair of sunglasses two months ago. I kept at them emailing constantly almost everyday, but only to receive an automated reply. Finally, they send me a cheap fake pair of sunglasses which weren't even similar to the ones i ordered! I'm going to find a way to get this website down for committing theft and internet crime, as I am absolutely disgusted. Sunglass Hut International they broke my sunglasses but refuse to replace them

I received as a gift a pair of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut in New Orleans that cost over $100.00.
After Hurricane Katrina I had to move to Atlanta. The sunglasse arms became loose and I was afraid
if I tried to tighten them I would break them. So I, therefore, was in the Atlanta airport and went to
the Sunglass Hut there and asked the technician to please tighten them for me as I was sure he had
the correct equiptment and the knowledge by working in the store. He tightened them for me and
due to tightening them too tight they cracked. I was infuriated as I've never owned a pair of sunglasses
that were so expensive before. After talking to managers the store refused to take any responsibility
or replace the sunglasses because they were not purchased at that store and they didn't have the same
style in stock anymore. They advised me to go back to the New Orleans Sunglass Hut which was
closed after the Hurricane for some time. I have emailed and called their customer relations but
continue to get the run around on this for nearly 2 years now. I can't believe they couldn
't just substitute a comparable pair or any pair that wasn't broken. They had me going in circles
and have still never rectfied their mistake and I have the broken sunglasses. I feel they should
have employees that know how to tighten glasses without breaking them and should have given
me a new pair regardless of the fact the style I had purchased was not available anymore. HELP!

I bought my Gucci sunglasses yesterday from the store around 9.30 pm and I reached home checked my bags no recipe no warranty card nothing.

Such irresponsible behavior of the staff he took 23000 inr in cash and didn’t give me a reciept.

I need an immediate resolution to this

the screws were put on their own as they were only put I think this company sells used lenses that have been repaired are some thieves told me that I bought the screws in the Ray Ban without them responsible and I have to pay for the screws and the Shipping please buy directly from the store of the brand this trash company sells used products.

I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses from the website for $350 what I got was a box containing the case for glasses and inside was just a lens cleaning cloth I'd like to think that the thief at their store gets fired called customer service they were polite and said I will be refunded my money and I'll get a 10% discount off my next purchase thing is will I get another empty box of I order again? This was my first ever order with the company and they totally dropped the ball on me giving them a good review

I had a problem at a store in Memphis in the Oak Court Mall. I got a good taste of Sunglass Hut's warranty, it's worthless! I bought a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses for a gift and was told if the person I bought them for did not like them they could either bring them back for a refund or exchange. The person I bought them for found the exact same sunglasses at Macy's for about $35.00 less so we decided to take the glasses from Sunglass Hut back. The crooks would not take them back and offered no reason other than we can refuse refunds even though that violates their posted policy and actual law pertaining to retail transactions. I was so pissed I started asking around at the Hospital where I work and was shocked at the number of people with horror stories about Sunglass Hut. I have learned my lesson and these crooks will never see my butt in one of their stores again, I am doing like Maui Jim and quit doing business with this sleazy company...

Many stores have clearance, final sales. Becareful of what you are purchasing prior to folking your dino to the cashier! How long have you own that pair of free sunglasses? The wear and tear of every day usage depreciate the value, just like a car. If it's too old, even if it's a written policy on the receipt, the store is not responsible for the breakage because they have no idea what you have done to it.

I have to agree with Kim. Perhaps your store is different Debbie, I sure would have loved to hear "we stand behind our product and will make this wrong right" or "sorry your sunglass is defective, here's your money back" but here in Concord, CA I just bought a pair of Tiffany & Co. sunglasses and my experience was FAR from that. First time purchase with Sunglass Hut and I've saved and saved to be able to even spend over $20 for a pair of sunglasses. Within the first three days of having the sunglass the nose pad broke completely off. When I took it back to the store only 5 DAYS after purchase to say - hey, I think something's defective here I was told the product was "imperfect" and that clearance Tiffany was considered "Imperfect" and thus may not be returned or exchanged. Oh yeah, and the sales clerk was also telling me that there's a frame warranty but the nose pad isn't part of the frame. Say what? The metal part that holds the nose pad on IS part of the frame!#$! I was BLOWN AWAY. Here Sunglass hut has the nerve to write on their receipts, "Your COMPLETE Satisfaction With Your Sunglasses Is Our Satisfaction" - yet, looking right below that there's the HUGE 6 inches of disclaimer at the bottom of the receipt. This will be my first and LAST time shopping in a Sunglass Hut. Horrible, Horrible experience for me here in Concord. I really feel for you Kim having to spend 2 years...that just sucks.
