Sun International gambling

On the 15th february 2019. Me and my husband went gambling in the smoking area.
I played on one specific mashine,. After playing r25.000 not one free spin.. How does that happen? The sunstriker machines were all out of order. But strange the saturday morning the jackpot was paid out at another casino. Is this realy fair.. I dont think so. We are big clients at casinon.. Realy gambling has never been so bad.

Sun International the type of service received

Good day

I have a complaint against 1 of the security guards named Obrian. I was at the casino on Saturday night and playing tables by a dealer named Nomsa. I did nothing wrong and all of a sudden the security comes and chases me out of the casino. I lost over R10 000 and just when I started winning my money back I was forced to leave. I even questioned the dealer as to why was I been chased and she said she doesn't know why. I want an urgent explanation for this if not I will be forced to take this matter up with sun international. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. This is not the 1st time I have had a bad experience with the casino. They seem to forget that they operate cause of people like us. I even sent an email on Sunday but no one bothered getting back to me. My number is [protected] and email address is [protected]@gmail.com

Sun International timeshare

Purchased timeshare, we were mislead when we purchased the time share and now the lady who sold it to us ignores our e-mail. there has been no feedback from her over the past month and a half. The lack of service is shocking. It's also impossible to get a booking. you are always fully booked? why do you sell you timeshare if cannot accommodate your clients?

Sun International Poor service at rosies restaurant, windmill casino, bloemfontein

Good day

I am sad to say that me and my family were very disappointed in our recent experience at Rosies Restaurant, 22/01/2019.
We have been regular customers and there for I was shocked at the level of service we received.

The food was not of the high quality I was used to getting at the facility.
Our reservation was for 20h00, and by then some of the food were already finished. Like the chicken and warm pudding. On enquiry the chef said there is none left.
They served pre cooked spring rolls and snacks, this is not what you would expect of such a restaurant.

The variety of dishes were lacking. It is definitely not what I have experienced before in this restaurant.
There was no plates to dish up the main course on. I asked for plates, but my request was ignored. We had to use salad plates. And a lot of the customers was using salad plates, seeing that no where there was plate available.

The carpet was dirty, and clearly not vacuumed. The light fitting of the large chandeliers was broken out of the roof.
The glass shelves are gone, just the fittings remains against the walls.
It was always so nice to sit down to a set table with a table cloth and cloth napkins. I was sad to find this gone.

I am very disappointed in the waiters, nobody introduced themselves to us.
We were seated, and although I made a reservation, our table was not ready. The table was also sticky. No salt and pepper on the table, my husband had to walk around the other tables to get some.
The waiter did not explain the usage of the soda fountain to us. And on enquiry, the lady quickly asked my 9-year old daughter: "Didn't you have 2 sodas yet?". I did not appreciate this remark, seeing that I did not even finish one soda. What is the use of a soda fountain, if you are treated like this on asking for some soda.

The one waitress that came to clear the table even put her knee on the chair next to me, and stretched over the table. This is not proper table etiquette.
The uniforms of your waiters used to be on point, and they wore it with pride. I was shocked to see Tomy tekkies without laces, skinny jeans?
The waiters hangs around the reception desk, instead of moving around in between the tables. We had to call somebody every time for assistance.

I would like a response from Sun International, seeing that i sent the same email to Windmill casino with no response

Sun International health risk

My family booked into Vacation Club units from Dec 17-21, 2018. This was one day after the big storm so before we left Botswana for Sun City we called to make sure that everything was fine for our stay. When we arrived it was first to be informed that the two units that we booked in March 2018 were not side by side as per our request. Upon arriving in our unit it was to find that the master bathroom toilet leaked and the room smelt. The day before we left the hotel decided to remove all of the ceiling insulation from our unit. This laid a fine layer of insulation all over the unit. No one bothered to clean this up. We were unable to sleep as all rooms were covered in this areolite and in addition my daughter who is asthmatic and has alleriges had trouble breathing all night long. When reported to the hotel all we got was so sorry they should have cleaned up. They did not even acknowledge the danger that this poised to my children nor did they care that my daughter suffered. Sun International i am so shocked with how we were treated, how you did not care and you should be reported to the Ministry of Health as my daughter could have had a very bad asthma attack from this. Also note that the smell of the toilet never left as the maid never wiped up the overflow. Really shocking.

Sun International food poisoning issue

I recently stayed at the Cabanas at SunCity (03/04 January 2019) We had a lovely stay at the resort and no complaints here regarding the stay. However on the 04 January after having a breakfast buffet at the Cabanas both my husband and I fell ill with the stomach runs and vomiting. It was really severe and when I tried to get medication from the pharmacy in the resort I was told that they (the pharmacy) get on average +/- 30complaints or cases of bad food /poisoning per day! this is shocking! My husband and I narrowed it down to the mushrooms, which tasted good! but was crazy bad for us as it was the only food we had in common. Neither of us are allergic to anything... I ate puffer fish without dying!
We suffered to a point where we were both fighting for bathroom time. Its now Tuesday and both of us have survivied on Immodium /Valoid /Enos/ Annusol. A perfectly good holiday ended on a [censored]ty note! I didn't even get the chance to enjoy the rest of my stay as I was in bed trying to stay still lest everything comes out of everywhere. I have spoken to other people who have had similar experiences at your resort and think that you are aware of the problem but do nothing about it. Stricter control, hygiene and general accepted food forms should be implemented.

This is to say THANK YOU Sun International, please keep on trying to find you new clients while neglecting you're faithful clients.

While the rest of the "HIGH ROLLERS", have left venues such as "Carnival City" to support venues such as Emperors Palace (PEERMONT)and MonteCasino, (check youre stats), I as a small player, have never left you're side. Well good bye... Not only get shifted by a host who doesn't give a care about old clients who just brushes patrons off whenever she feels like, but also neglects us but also about you' re policy of " giving back to the ppl" policy, I am also a people. I have NEVER ONCE gotten an invite to the much boasted about "Time square", never the less, dont think Im missing much.

This is just a "heads up", maybe you might be the biggest now and being voted best hotels and casino in Africa, but if you do not look after you're patrons you will loose you're "old faithfuls'". Such as minimizing the real players stays at you're hotels.. Used to be 5 night stays now you give 2 night stays.. Used to be if not every month then every second month invitations, now has been minimized to every third or fourth month... Obviously you will be looking for "new suckers".

You're patrons are not "bubble gum" you can just chew and spit out... I will post this on you're blog..

Sun International pathetic customer service for a 5 star establishment

I am still booked at the Cascades as I write this. What a complete waste of my hard earned money. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to... Mind you I am a frequent international traveler.
From being served rotten lamp shank by the room service. To waiting for toilet paper from house keeping for and hour and a half to coming back to a filthy room at 1pm! And to being charged for a draft beer and then being told it's out of stock after you have taken my money... That's blatant theft!

The extractor fan in the bathroom does not work and the drains have a sewer smell in our room.

The attitude of the staff stinks. The food is worse than pathetic and I will forever speak of how I wasted my money at suncity when all I wanted was to give my kids a memorable Christmas holiday.

I have been here for 5 nights and I was going to let this slide... Too many people have probably let things slide, hence nothing has been done to fix customer service at Cascades and as a result, we suffer too.

I actually don't think anything will b done about my concerns above, but it's worth a try to see if anything will be done so future patrons don't waste their time and Money in this facility.

Please train your staff on customer service that is worthy of a 5 star establishment... I would probably have received better service at a sun fomular one hotel...

Sun International service

last night I was at grandwest and I played out over 2000 rand on my mvg card [protected] and the white card I had a bonus on machine it gave me 3 bonuses 1 payed 30 credits the next one paid 30 credits and the other paid zero credits then I played on sunsticker and the bonus paid out 12 rand its my birthday month to I am so disappointed and disgusted

Sun International used menstrual pad on main gaming floor. windmill casino bloemfontein

Good day.My name is Michael Hattingh and i am an mvg card holder [protected] acc [protected], I wasn't always but now i am.
Me and my brother spend a lot of money at Sun International WINDMILL CASINO.

A couple of times i did raise some suspicion on the surveys that windmill sends me about roulette dealers and special clients that win 9 or more times in row, and the slot machine 30/70 payout ratio or what ever the standard gambling law ratio is.
Like always nothing happens!
If you say something at the tables they will start to give you [censored] so that you have to loose your temper and give them [censored] back and you will be asked to leave.

I have been going to windmill casino in Bloemfontein sins it opened more than a decade ago.
Last night me and my brother when to windmill casino around eight o clock.
We started to gamble at the slots machines at the non smoking main floor.

I played the LEPRECHAUN/LUCKY CLOVER slot machine and at my feet there where a USED MENSTRUAL PAD.That was around 20.30 and my brother told and showed the staff(sun international and windmill employees) about the USED MENSTRUAL PAD that was on the floor.

Around 23.30 we left the casino and the USED MENSTRUAL PAD was still there at the LEPRECHAUN/LUCKY CLOVER slot machine on the none smoking main floor.

A USED MENSTRUAL PAD, is unhygienic and can cause lots of illnesses and even death.

You Sun International say:"WHILE WE TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN THE SERVICES AND FACILITIES WE OFFER, THE ONLY RATING THAT MATTERS IS YOURS".

Is your pride a USED MENSTRUAL PAD?
Where is the services? Is a USED MENSTRUAL PAD your service?
So how do you want me to rate you and go share my experience with the world?

I am so (disgusted, angry, sick) and i feel to share this on every "social media platform, news paper, NGB" so that people can see what services Sun International provides before they go and waist there hard earned money at any Sun International! Or just go see my attorney and hear what he has to say!

The National Gambling Board overview is "The mission of the National Gambling Board South Africa (NGB) is to lead the regulation of the gambling industry in the fulfillment of the National Gambling Act (NGA) 7 of 2004 through an effectively regulated and supervised gambling industry that upholds domestic, continental and internationally recognised standards of compliance"

An apology won't rectify this pathetic survive and we don't give a [censored] attitude about our clients, because we are a Sun International Casino and people will come attitude.

Now the big question.How is this problem going to be fixed? Or is it going to be the same like my other complains about the the roulette dealers and some special clients?

My complains was and still is a waist of my time because nothing has change!

Sun International soho casino: faulty gambling machine 54506 (automated roulette machine)

Good day. I want to make a formal complaint against Soho Casino situated in Sun City. On the 22nd of September 2018 i was playing machine 54506 (automated roulette table). I placed a bet and before the timer was done i reversed all bets and the machine wiped out my credit on my card and gave me a balance of R10 only. I requested assistance and after a while i was supposed to speak to the supervisor Mr Ompile Modise. He took my card and went to, what i can only assume is the surveillance room to check on the cameras what happened. He came back and claimed that i bet all my money and that he has video evidence of it. I requested to see the footage and he refused, i requested to view the activity log on the machine where i was sitting and he refused and told me that i should contact the North West Gambling Board. He humiliated me in front of all the individuals that was present and insisted that i placed the bet. It is unfair on any individual to place bets on a faulty machine which Mr Ompile Modise insist is working at 100%. I hereby request that this matter be investigated even though my money was small i still have the right to what is legally mine. I am humiliated by the experience and this matter should be dealt with accordingly.

Sun International refund not received

Hi

I made a booking for 2 rooms for the Cascades hotel in December through booking.com and had a free cancellation. I was charged R4000 per room and subsequently cancelled (for free). No one has refunded me and I am being ignored.

Please advise what I can do about this?

Sun International refund not received

good day

on the 24/08/18 I made a reservation at suncity (cascades) and made the payment online with my card through my wife's mvg membership and when we came to check-in it did not show on their system so my wife payed with her card, we cancelled the one booking and they said they will refund me back. until now they fail to help me after many phone calls and proof of payments they requested.

Sun International security

Sitting in grandwest prive and security keep on harassing me im sleeping while i was not after tellinv her im busy on my phone she still says im sleeping meanwhile another woman is sleeping in the prive and nothing is being said to her very dissapointed in service and the manager of security mandiya who did not even listen to what i had to say security nwabisa is very incompetent as a grandwest customer i will be cutting up my card and never come back and will tell ghis story to everyone i know

Sun International customer service bru's @ carnival city

I really want and need to say this .
I have never seen customer service at Sun international like that .
I worked for Sun international before .
And I know the high standards and level of customer service expected.
At Bru's at Carnival City Service is really bad .
No friendlyness, no service waiters are standing around in a bar with less then 10 people and everytime we have to call someone for assistance.
So many things I can mention .
The best of all ...
Getting attitude from staff .
This is really bad .
I have intensive customer service back ground and what I saw there for the second time this week is unexceptable.

Sun International worst experience any person could pay for himself.

It saddens me to think that for the last three months ive basically spent more time @ the maslow time square than ive ever spent anywhere else.
The last month's experiences were horible, all started after I finally signed up for my own mvg card.
Used to believe players were tracker by promoted signup cards like the mvg cards and that it makes you a simpler target to micromanage and limits you ability to freelance through jackpots and actaully win by simple playerstats (wich is actually very cute, in our worlds we call it clicktracking) meaning every click and play on whichever machine can be precisely monitored and controlled as all the information is stord on a read only card controlled by pop..

And I was right, when I used the day cards simply withdraw all funds if I wasnt winnng and simply draw a different playing card from someone that might not even have been as stats crazy fanatic as I used to be and if alucky I could actaully walk home with a major jackpot won with having to work the machine combos like im actaully employeed to test the difficulties levels constantly overstressed by technicians.

Every uour spent at your casino the last couple of weeks (plz do go chck its alot of hours) ive tried to social a bit aswell and found myself more drawn to the main arena floor where therewere atleast only 6 x2cent machines which you could actaully sit down for hours and play and win a bit and found myself actaully interacting with the oppisite race and sex's moat of the time & for a long time though rainbow nation spirit passed with madiba.. And then it struck me.. Since last week poor management and ill trained security personel allowed me to he victimised and harrasted and scoulded by other players whom wasnt spending nearly a 10th of the money and time I was spending there, yet because they are left unattended when they just sit and occupy seats @nd then make racist comments in their langauges (which they forgot that us whites also now have learned and schooled ourselves into trying to harnest the beauty and riches this country's diverse cultural ethnics has to offer)
I also noticed that even though ive lost over r17800 and (well who the hell is actaully stil counting) I was still going their hoping that they would lower the stop/startfeatured buttons difficulties and maybe soften th springs on the bottoms so that when we come there to relax and socialize and actually have a good time, we too would not be dissapointed.
That infact has worstened, on average r1800 lost, and then the shocking horror ehen I arrived again after skipping a day or two to recuparate and salvage some funds of which ive lost so much over the last two weeks.
On arrival ai was greated with sarcatic remarks from the black barman which fo some reason noticed me over the past few weeks and took a liking in badmouthing/mocking me for "always being their and for my friendlyness which ive never experienced before anywhere ive been?!? How are we to feel valued and respected as I value and respect every other human being?

Are we the customers no longer the crucial/core focus of why the place was built in the first place? Or should every everyday folks (that actaully contribute to your wealth and prosperity) be left to feel mistreated and should we then ask ourselves why we keep faithfulness in a company/brand/group whom really only seeks to further fill their greedy pockets and really dont care about the most important assets, us the clients!

To some it all up, todays shocking discovery that all the 2cent machines that hasnt even covered any of the massive losses I e made the last teo weeks, but kept me excited and motivated that atleast for the hours ill be spending trying to get the money ive lost back, ill be able to actaully again enjoy doing that, and they presented me with the comforting thoughts of the great conversations that will fall around it with likeminded individuals that have aslo come accustom to the same experiences at the maslow and shared a joined feeling of joy and willingnss to even lose a few rands for exchange of good company of a silly mulungu making jokes and really just attracting some humoreous yet enjoying company.. That is all gone. All taken out and only explanation from technicians were the machines were donated to capetown?

Uhhmm okay... Funny how just before they were removed, the nigh before I was brutally verbally assualted by one of those night stalkers that prawl and toxicate the passages most of their time their waiting for someone to either give them food or money and if you dont they just latch to the open chairs and badmouth you to other customers.. That same person accused me of tempering and defrauding the machines simply of the way in which I sat infrint of the machine and where my hands were placed when I hailed down on the noisy features buttons... She spent so much energy and compasion to every sitting co player and passing customers that just dared make eyecontact with her and look like they are looking for the thrill of harrising a person of different colour.

She embarresed me so badly that I almost lost all of the little good fortune I could scrape together in which should have been the only night I actaully won anything at those machines. My arguement to her and the two technicians that after I left swelt the machine and did whatever they do when a plaqyer was having bit of luck to the mchines to prevent it from hallening again. Also I still struggle to understand how she entertained the racial followers (I mean security members are also moss breadline bottomfeeders like me?) to actually persuid the staff members and the security and technicians to actually approach me and join in on the victimisation where I really felt as if maybe unconciously I was [censored]ting and bypassing or jilpoing the machines (which I only afterwards srugged off with my humble belief, if I was really mastering the machines and manipulating the outcomes of every reels spun by some way of combinating keys or whatever, I really shouldnt quite my dayjob... You dont con and fraudulate if you continuesly keep on losing all the money you took with hopes of actaully not having to spend it...

Ive thrown away my mvg card (there might still have been money on but who cares).

As far as it goes for ky relationship built with the few very nice employees and fellow
Regular comers I will never set foot at your doors again..
Have been foulish to think one should feel so at home at a place which was/ is disigned and driven & controlled by systems/procedures and a mentality of greediness and selfish enrichment at the cost of other peoples dignities and whom thrives on those people's losses and dispair..

Last mentions.. I mostly spent so many nights their palying and losing and hoping, due to the fact that I only live a few kilometers aways (not really far enough to want to drive) and many a people would regognise my face as I walked home quite early in the mornings and I never got affraid because you dont ever see a white person walking in pretoria east, never even so would you see a white person with some cash in his pocket so I honestoy has nothing to fear as most nights you kept all of the money ive taken there..

Until two nights ago (the only night I actaully mad a fair amount of gains (r3500) te be exaxt.

I hid the money on me as good I could, tried not to draw any attention on myslef and left, funny how precisely two and a half blocks away from the casino's last liable responsible robot, (2blocks from our local police) I got ambushed by three (or four could really ask them to stop and identify thm) thugs (which had a very cocky assured sound to their voices as they overpowered me into the near open felt next to faerie glen resorts edges.

Funny how those guys cuckling while taking everything I had of value (including knowing exactly where I hid the money by at turn each of them asking me to remove the money precisely from where ive hidden it.. Everyime I said I really swear I dont have anything else or morr they would mock and beat me some more saying they know there is more cause they had to observe and follow me all the way from"big brothers towers"

Trully saddens me that even though I never should have walked, the true persons to your cntributions, are made out to be the culprates and the animals/leachers are given free access and are left unscaved and free to plunder and roam your halls and stinking your seats and still if this post ever gets a single comment its probably gonna be about some spelling mistakes and the. Critism of the lenth wnd it will be smeared and probably somehow somehow be sencored or shortened and then summarised and flooked and be used against me somehow.

But atleast this god fairing man has seen all the evilness and corruptness nature of your business and if nothing comes from this complaint, not even full publishment or some form of compensation for traumatized, shocked and and almost disgussed emotions its fine, hoepfully someone reposts and actually admit something like this has happened to thrm sswell and it could lead to only 1 other person to say sounds like a no to them assell, then I feel its 1 less person out there that has to have those experiences we have had skipped out on and 1person spared the waste of precious time with family and money that was worked hard for.

Sun International soho hotel smoking casino bad service

We went to Soho Hotel to the smoking casino yesterday afternoon 9 Aug 2018 at about 16h45.The machine I played on a 7's machine by the cashier that gives free games just stopped working and said error call attendant. We waited for the attendant. She came and helped and not even a spin later the machine said call attendant again. I waited 15 min for the attendant to come. In that time 7 machines around me had an error. She came. Tried fixing the machine and then took my card and walked away. Machine said that I needed a manual payout of R54. 00 rand. I waited and waited. Another guy came and after my husband went to call someone they brought my card back but I waited still. The guy opposite me had also waited for a manual payout. After approximately 45 minutes I had to leave without my payout of 54 and needless to say we couldn't gamble further as it was late and we needed to leave for Jhb. Sun International accommodation offer problem

Hello my name is syed nooruddin talha jawed. I m enjoying gambling in your one casino sun sibaya. The staff and managment is very good. But only one problem i have every time u gave me free accomodation in wild coast sun and soho hotel but i never ever move to both casinos because of my bussiness. I spent almost every night in sibaya but i never get any time free room in sibaya so my request is next time dont give me free accomodation in wild coast sun.

Sun International changes to mvg points accommodation

I am totally confused at Sun Internationals attempt to making loyal gambling clients now go to other casinos closer to our homes, I wanted to book a getaway on my MVG points that I have been saving only to be told that this incentive does not apply anymore and it is now beyond the average gold card holder as you will need 3000 points to stay 2 x nights at Sun City. We frequent the Sun International casinos to build up points even though your payouts are not as good as other casinos in order to gain points that can be used on accommodation. I can even understand a levy charge of R500 per room to recover costs but to actually chase away clients seems to be very short sighted indeed on your marketing strategy. You only force your loyal gamblers to visit other casinos as there is now no incentive on your behalf

Thank you for the feedback but I fail to see the benefits to the average gambler, we used to be able to stay at the Soho hotel for 140 points or a cost of R510 these are now more than double. It will just mean that your average gambler will now have more choice of other casinos as there is limited benefit

Sun International being intimidated inside time square casino by staff member everyday

I here by have a complaint against Dhireen Maharash manager at Time Square Casino in Pretoria.
He is always on my case, i really don't know how to handle this issue any more. i have reported him in several cases and nothing was done
and i was also informed that i am not the only person getting bad attitude from him. most of the customers have decided to keep quit and move to different casino's around.

I am sending this matter with the incident that just happened this morning 22 July 2018, around 01:00am in the non smoking area tables, the footage of the video is my evidence with this regard. he even threatened me that he will get me, and when he nails someone he makes sure he does not get the come backs. i am asking for your assistance with this matter because its affecting us as your customers who go to casino's for entertainment and get the opposite. i really think this matter needs urgent attention.

Sun International wild coast sun

Good Day

Kindly note we booked into the Wild Coast Sun to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday on from the 13th July to 15th July.

We had booked 2 rooms 435 and 444. When we got to reception we requested for both rooms to be close by which was granted.

We drove 2 hours from the Durban and dad needed to rest a bit. When you got to the room his bed was not made, it was about 5:30 PM. The bathrooms was not cleaned as well.

I requested to speak to the house keeping manager, someone came through and saw the bed not made nor was the bedding nchanged from the earlier guests that had checked out. She even saw the shower dirty.

The bedding was then changed and they cleaned the shower.

The 2nd room that was booked under my sister V Chinnathambi, the cups and saucers were dirty with flies on it

We were looking forward to the weekend to celebrate my dad's 80th Birthday. It was such an inconvenience and so disappointing with the set up. Certainly did not expect this at the Wild Coast Sun.

Who decided to spend my birthday at your holiday resort has to now take the time to write this email that alone will tell you what a amazing time I'm having sarcastically.

Anyway I just want to tell you about the monkey business that goes on here while you are a guest at wildcoast .

After comming with my family from your casino and having lunch for my birthday I make my way back to the room you have new guests arriving . I then am in a lift that had me and 3 of my family members in it already . A staff member who is a porter that is assisting your new guests decides to make myself and my family like sardines in a can where he just orders my wife and family to move aside and then squashing shoulder to shoulder another 3 people and that trolley into the lift leving my 24 month old baby wife and family squashed up where we had to bump into each other and the trolley

I don't know if is you as management who teaches these people this process or is it because it is the second day of my stay that I am no longer important . This is total disrespect and there's complete disregard with the attitude of your staff and the way they carry on .

Further more I'll make sure I leve the facility today being one day earlier so I don't have to invest in this kind of treatment from your institution.

Its sad this is how you train your staff and I think this is [censored] .

Being my birthday and this is the way you treat us and my family because it looks like this is all about business maybe you should invest in propper lifts to accommodate but also I hate how you train your staff to usher people around and still squash to the extent that that must actually push against each other . If anything had to happen in that lift and the trolley had to hurt me or my family trust me I'll be taking this to social media and will be forwarding this to all necessary complaints divisions .

You do not one bit live up to the expectation and I see how you opperate .

Thanks for making me feel this way .

Thanks ill be leving with immediate effect and will no longer need this disrespect being a professional person.
