Subway a managers performance, manager bobbie ryan

I was currently employed at Subway in Canal Park Duluth Minnesota for 3 years.store number 12211. A year ago we were given a new manager by the name of Bobbie Ryan.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/3rN9n4ipUF7bHLt98

here is a link to see how she communicates with her employees when I sent her a picture of my swollen foot she told me I had to just suck it up and I better go into work and do the best that I can, when I told her I physically could not perform the job she threatened to fire me, when I told her that was illegal to do she then said oh I'm not firing you, I'll make it so you quit and took me off the schedule. I just feel this is so wrong as a manager to do when she should be showing people how to work together work as a team and have a good work ethic, in the first year she was their we lost many many employees cause they did not want to put up with her and she does not put the schedule up until the last day so when she doesn't put you on for a week you have to wait a week to even find out if you're on the next schedule and when she doesn't put you on that one, they do that so you quit your job. I just feel I was totally mistreated over an injured foot and pretty much forced to resign because I have bills to pay and I'm not a young kid like some of these employees I'm 36 years old and live check to check so by her doing that pretty much if I don't quit and get a new job I'm going to be homeless by the end of the month. Also they were well aware that when I started I was in a methadone assisted program, in the month of July I had missed a call back, so I had to go to my clinic every day for 6 days a week for a month, it's just the rules that they make, I've already informed my manager of this and she worked well with my schedule but when I called her on the injured foot she shoved it in my face and said that I was on drugs at work which never happened and I can prove that cuz I take weekly urinalysis test at my clinic so that I can get take-outs to not have to go everyday. but for a manager who's supposed to be showing us how to work well and how to be a good role model these are just some of the things I think are absurd that she's doing. But now that this was brought to the even the general manager's attention and I still had to quit, I think this is absolutely wrong... They're rewarding bad behavior. So now I'm trying to bring it to someone's attention that actually cares what's going on at their company.

Subway store manager

My niece used to work there, & as long as she was there, she always said that the store manager was hardly ever there, on the clock but never there. I just think its not fair to anyone else as an employ. Cause they work hard for little hours. Anyways is it ok to be on the clock & not be present. My understanding if u got to go to the bank thats an understanding. But this lady has been doing this for a very long time. She leaves the store early for at least 2 or 3 or 4 hours straight then comes back an clocks out about 4 or 5. Complete 8 or so hours.. I just think you all should know this. An im sure it can be seen on camera when she leaves, & when she comes back to clock out. My understanding she has been doing this a very long time. Apparently comes back with a bank bag like shes been at the bank..which she hasnt. No body has ever said anything about this or bring it to yalls attention, but i just dont think its right. Im sure she gets her 40 plus hours a week for only being present half of it.. I keep telling my niece its wasnt right an fair. An thats why she quit working there . im sure yall can roll cameras back to see thats she rides the clock for free. Thats all i wanted to say. Thank you an have a blessed day...hopefully the issued is solved...

Subway poor treatment of customer service

A month and a half ago after working all day I decided to pick up a sandwich on the way home. As I went into this subway there was 2 people that were together ahead of me in line. So I waited until they were cashed out. They paid for their food and left the buildibg. I was next in line and was the only customer in line so I walked up and the guys asked me what type of bread Told him I wanted a tortilla and he then asked me what type of cheese I would like? At that time a hispnanic family walked in. The guy that was making my wrap was called to the back..When he returned to the counter he had a shameful look on his face. He told me that he was told to tend to the Hispanic family instead. He would wait on me when he was done. There was no explanation to me why this was done. I turned around and walked away.
Thw manager and the gut that took my order was Hispanic as well. I went to a near by gas station and got myself a sub.
The next day I called corporate office to make a complaint only to talk with a receptionnist or someoneven name Rosemary who took all my contact info and told me that she was gonna look into the matter and get back with me. She never did..

Subway online order

Store#20405
3535 Appalachee PKWY
Tallahassee, FL 32311

Order #6FB68824-43

I placed this order on 8/9/18 at 6pm and the receipt stated the order would be ready for pick up at 6:30pm. I paid for the order online so that when I arrived I could grab and go.
I arrived at store#20405 at 6:40. There was one staff waiting on 9 people on line. I, of coarse, went to the express checkout since my order was placed online and was already paid. Since there was only one person working, she did continued to wait on the people in the line. After preparing 4 subs, she acknowledged me. I told her that I had an online order placed at 6pm that was paid and supposed to be ready by 6:30pm. She went on to say that she had no online orders and that I needed to go to the other Appalachee store. I told her that I had previously stopped at the other store and the order was not there and they told me to come to the 20405 store in Wal-Mart. The employee goes on to say there is no order did you bring in your receipt. I said no. I have the order # but she needed to see the receipt. I walked out to my car to get my phone and showed her the receipt. She still argued that there was no order. Now it is 7:00pm. I said "You see that I placed the order at this store and it is paid for. Could you please just make my order. No I will need to call someone. She make a call and leaves a message and continues to wait on her customers. So at this point, I went and stood in the line and waited until I could have her full attention. Finally, it was my time. She say well, I didn't receive a call back; let me call someone else. She puts this person on speaker. She tells her that I say I ordered from here but there is no order. The lady says it must be the other store and the employee agrees. By this time, I am very agitated. I said I have the receipt and placed my phone in her face so that she could see I ordered from her store. The lady said call such in such, I said no. I have paid and can't she just make my order. No, not without an order and verification that you paid. I stated I have the verification right here on my phone and that was no sufficient. Finally, she finds the online order and prints it out, now 7:20pm. So the lady on the phone says offer her something free. The employee asks if I want a drink. I was so angry, I said no and that I just want my order. Then, they didn't have the bread I ordered. The only bread left was Italian Herb and Wheat. I told her the same thing happened over the weekend when I ordered on line from this store. I ordered 2 foot longs on honey oat. My friend picked up the order and they gave my wheat because they were out of honey oat but never called and asked if that was ok. Anyway, so I used the Italian herb because I do not like wheat.
Finally I get my order and leave. I really wanted you all to be aware of the online problem, the lack of staffing problem, and the insufficient amount of bread on the evening shift at this store. I figured they would offer a gift card for 2 foot longs or something other than a drink since I had to wait over an hour for my sub to be prepared.
Sincerely.
Betty Richmond

Subway food availability

The Subway Store closest to our house is constantly out of the meatballs for the meatball sub or claims to be. I'm not one to complain but this is at least the 10th time this has happened at this location and literally has my daughter in tears tonight saying everyone always get the sandwich they want except her which broke my heart and I'm not usually that soft... but it is quite frustrating. It's the closest to our house and I'm 8 mo pregnant and I enjoy Subway and feel it's a healthier choice than some other places but this has become quite frustrating as the meatball sub my favorite as well as my 3 girls fav. They offer to switch it for another sandwich but then I'm still uncharged for the difference which I also think isn't right. If you dont have what I ordered than you should cover the difference. Just a frustrated customer and momma right now and would appreciate something said or done about this stores service.

Subway refused to put more sauce on my sandwich

On August 6th, 2018 around 10:00 am, I went to the king of Prussia mall for the first time in my life. I heard great things about it so I wanted to go there. I would like to mention that I love subway and it's my favorite place to eat. I eat there usually at least once or twice a week for the past 10 years. The first thing I wanted to do was eat at subway in the mall before exploring the mall. I went up to a man that was working at subway. He said that he has worked at the mall for 29 years and has worked for subway there for 16 years I think. I'm pretty sure he even said he owned a subway before. He is bald and was wearing a subway bandana. I walked up and got my normal spicy Italian sandwich. All I get on my sandwich is meat, cheese, and sauce. I do not get any vegetables at all. Now I like chipotle southwest sauce a lot. I really really like the sauce. The sauce is the main reason I go to subway really. Anyways, so I was getting my sandwich and we got to the vegetable part. I said no thank you for vegetables but I would like a lot of the chipotle southwest sauce. I did say that I would like a ton of it and I expect to get as much as I would like considering you go there to have them make you a sandwich that you would like exactly. Also I don't get vegetables so I save them money by not getting vegetables and I just get a lot of sauce instead so it's not a big deal. The guy put some on and he put the bottle away. There was about half a bottle left and I told him that I would like the last half of the bottle on my sandwich because I truly do like a lot and I'm not joking. I actually wasn't asking for much because I usually get at least a full bottle if not more on my sandwich. I tell him about how I want the last half of the bottle and he said maybe half of it and just puts a little more on it and puts it back. Then I said I was being serious that I want the rest. He said no I can't put any more on because that's all I have until Wednesday and it was currently Monday. I am a nice person so I let it go since I tried telling him a couple times and he wouldn't put it on so I let it go. Then almost immediately after I sat down and started eating my sandwich I regretted not saying anything. At subway they say you can make your sandwich anyway you want and what I was asking for wasn't much. I have had problems with other subways before too but I never complained about it. The subway I normally go to started charging me $1.00 extra because of how much sauce I put on my sandwich which I didn't get upset about that because I know it's a lot. I have no problem with being charged that extra $1.00 for the sauce as long as they give me the amount of sauce that I want. That's the way business works and I understand but it makes me furious when I go to a business and ask for more sauce on my sandwich and they tell me no. What kind of business refuses to give the customer what they want? The excuse was because that's all the sauce they had for the next two days. Is it my fault that they didn't order or stock up on more sauce? Is it my fault that they didn't prepare themselves enough? No it's not so why should I be the one that pays the consequences because someone didn't do their job? I could have been very rude and refused to pay for the sub and made them throw it away if I wanted. I could have said you either give me the sandwich the way I want it or you can throw it in the trash because I'm not paying for a sandwich that I don't want but I didn't because I'm a nice person. The more I think about it the more I believe something should be done about this because it's ridiculous. When I go to sheetz and get Dr Pepper flavored boneless wings I get a lot of sauce mixed with it and also extra sauce in little cups on the side to also then pour onto the boneless wings. They never refuse to give me that extra sauce but I do pay a little extra for the sauce which I understand. They never refuse to give me extra sauce though. For being such a huge lover of subway and for all the money I've given to subway in the past 10 years, I would really appreciate it if something would be done about this to make me feel better and help get the bad taste out of my mouth so I can continue going to subway. I hope to hear from you guys and thank you for your time, I appreciate it. My information is listed below:

Subway online application support

Subway has [censored]S working in their online support area. I spoke with a supervisor for online application. Paypal was offering $5.00 Off if I ordered thru your application and paid with Paypal. I downloaded your application on August 1st(last day of offer for Paypal). I tried to order veggie delight foot long sandwich. After trying 10 times, it kept on timing out. I even changed the payment method and it still kept timing out. I called today(August 6t) and spoke to a support person and she told me that I should uninstall and reinstall the application as they were running into prooblems with the payments. She wanted me to look to Paypal for the $5.00 and I disagreed with her and wanted to speak with a supervisor and he had the same stance. I told them Paypal would have gladly given me $5.00 off of the price if Subways application would have worked correctly. I even had a Subway employee at the South Windsor, ct 06074 store try to help me and we kept on running into problems. I then ordered thru going the conventional way and pay with my credit card going thru the line. My contention is that I should get $5.00 from Subway as it was their application that did NOT work. My order was made again at subway in South Windsor, CT 06074. I am amazed at the Subway application supervisor who was NOT willing to give me the $5.00 Dollars. My email is "[protected]@gmail.com" for the application. That supervisor should be FIRED for his lack of helping a customer who is in the right. Thanks

Subway subway sandwiches manager theft and racial issues

This is about the Subway Sandwiches next to the Dollar Store on Deer Valley Road in Antioch, CA.

The address is believed to be 3303 Deer Valley Road, Antioch, CA. The store phone number is [protected]. They'll be able to confirm that they are, or are not, the correct store. I believe that they are and I don't wish to speak with these people again myself.

My experience with Subway is positive in general, but this review is about a surprisingly negative situation.

I'd like to be clear that I've talked with the store owner and he's expressed no interest or concern regarding the behavior of his employees.

So, I'm not blind-siding the owner. I'd have preferred to work this out. Instead, I'll need to post this story on multiple websites. I've got better uses for my time, but people need to know about that store.

Issues involved in the story include race hatred at Subway, sanitation issues, theft by store employees, and broken machines.

If I go to a Subway store, I don't expect a restaurant-quality experience. I do expect polite service, a clean and well-maintained store, and to be able to make a purchase without an angry person of color taking out the sins of the white people that she dislikes on me.

Many Subway stores are nice places. The employees are eager to please and not self-righteous. This Subway, not so much.

If you're white, and you go to this Subway store, be prepared for self-righteous diatribes about your cultural insensitivity even if you've done nothing wrong and have gone out of your way to be polite.

That was the part that led me to lose my own temper when dealing with this person.

The last time that I was at this store, I paused on my way out and took the time to thank a sandwich worker for her efforts.

But the manager this time -- who I believe had been present on the previous occasion and knew that I'd tried to be supportive of the sandwich worker -- lectured me about her perceptions of my perceptions of people of color.

She was remarkably pompous for the junior manager --- one who appears to be all of 19 years old -- of a run-down sandwich store with broken equipment and sanitation issues.

I'm familiar with civil rights. My experience goes back nearly to the Civil Rights era. Civil Rights doesn't mean "mea culpa" to a rude and self-righteous child for being white.

This was about a broken machine at the Subway store.

The equipment at the store in question is poorly maintained. The Health Department needs to look at this; more than one thing may be broken. I plan to file a report with them next week.

The manager wasn't able to provide the meal that I'd paid for. When I asked for a refund, she was sanctimonious, offered me water as a replacement, and lectured me about ethnic issues.

She declined to return my money and threatened to call the police if I didn't let her keep it. In short, she committed theft.

I said, "I'll be happy to wait for the police and to charge you with theft". She then returned my money, grudgingly, but added hostile remarks as she did so.

I don't think that this is quite the atmosphere that the corporate level of Subway is hoping to see in its franchise stores.

The owner is Indian. He doesn't care about these issues. He prefers Social Justice for Minorities over the business of selling meals in a positive environment.

But Social Justice might start with addressing the self-righteous behavior of employees of color who are seeking to get back at white people.

Subway hours posted not open

Ok-So this is annoying in the sense the subway hours posted state open until 12. Two consecutive days the establishment closed early. This Tuesday it closed approximately 10 minutes early, and Wednesday it closed 45 minutes early. It is a waste of gas and time to travel to a place with posted hours and they don't honor them.

Subway salad

I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad with NO cheese ( as I am Lactose intolerant), every veggie except Jalapenos, Lettuce and no ranch. What I got was a chicken salad with NO bacon, cheese and it all melted in the corner of the container so that I could not even remove the cheese! The sorry excuse I got was it was made by an upset employee because he has to stay at work because the next person did not come in. How is this my problem when I am already paying a ridiculously high price for a salad? Now I see why people are saying Subway is going to [censored]!

Subway steak wrap

My partner and I live on the Rock in Bury Lancashire England and he went in this morning at 11.30 to find the employee behind the counter constantly on her phone whilst trying to serve him. He asked for the Wrap of the day and when asked for what he wanted (she was still on the phone throughout the visit) he was told that he could only have such and such but continued to talk on the phone.

My partner was then asked to pay £5 plus for this and at this point and rudeness of your employee decided to spend his money elsewhere.

He attends subway every day as its a healthier option but we will not be buying anymore food from you.

You need to teach your employees about customer service and how to show each customer the respect they would expect if they went into purchase something.

Subway service

July 31st I went to Subway 79th and Portland in Bloomington, MN. I say im not going there anymore and it is right across the street from my house. Once I was there and needed help with my subway rewards the cashier didn't know how to do it and the manager wouldn't even help. Acted like he was to busy and walked in the back. Yesterday I went in there I could see the manager and another employee in the back. Neither one said anything to me. I stood there for 4 minutes then just put my chips back and left. I see them being rude to customers all the time. I for one will not go back to that one and pray that it get's shut down.

Went to SUBWAY LOCATED IN WHEATON, ILLINOIS STORE # 41963-0. Foreign owners who spoke very difficult to understand "ENGLISH", if you want to call it that?

The rudeness of the Clerk was shocking, apparently the culture is drastically different regarding customer relations.
The clerks voice could be heard several blocks away, and why I endured that obnoxious behavior I still have to figure out. But will never again visit the WHEATON, ILLINOIS STORE #41963 FOR SURE!

Ordered two FLATBREAD VEGGIE SANDWICHES, and got WHITE BREAD? How's that for great communication? Threw the WHITE BREAD BUN SANDWICHES IN THE GARBAGE, and went elsewhere to eat.

DOES SUBWAY DO A THROUGH VETTING OF PROSPECTIVE OWNERS?

Subway embarrassing experience

I was sitting in Subway with a coworker eating and 2 cops come in and went to the back then they came to my table and asked for my I. D. And said we were being barred that one of us had touched someone on the hand and made a rude comment. That is so not true! Everything seemed normal to that point, So that was a very embarrassing situation while the cops were questioning me there in front of the costumers in Subway &Walmart that are in the same building, I would like to solve this matter quick! I have a comment. All innocence is considered as such until guilt is proven. Guilt is proven through irrefutable evidence such as a video tape. Hearsay and ones opinions and perceptions does not constitute enough evidence to bar a person or persons from an establishment. Sounds like some discriminatory and preconceived notions spawned poorly thought out actions on the part of law enforcement . That should be addressed with the authorities over these gentlemen. there are too many of these goons in uniform abusing the powers given whether through ignorance or egotism, giving the majority of good officers who are trying to do the job right a bad rep and making it harder. There should have been an investigation of allegations, questioning. However, remember that these are allegations made by an individual, with no hard evidence backing it up being presented before you start burning the stakes on a witch hunt. I personally know one of the i individuals here, and know that he is one of the most upright, decent, moral folks i know. Who would kindly give his shirt off his back to a stranger in need. So look at the entire situation folks. perhaps not handled very well ? Feel free to fling all the comments my way, i love battling ignorance and attitudes with logic and reasonable thinking.

Replying to comment of

there is good points in what you are saying. The reason this story gained my interest was the person(s) involved and the media in which i was introduced to the story was through personal acquaintance, giving it more validity. I find it ludicrous that two sworn lawmen would do such a thing without solid premise . That said, we all are reminded every day of instances where our officers are not always doing what they should . The Kelly Thomas beating in Fullerton, California from 2011 is a grim reminder of how often innocent people are victimized by those who have sworn to uphold the law. I wonder, knowing of one of the gentlemen involved, and given your very valid points made, why the officers made the choices they did. What was their personal involvement? In my opinion, the actions which read more to be emotionally driven reactions taken by the officers suggest in my mind a personal involvement with either the accuser or an issue unrelated with the gentlemen in question. i.e. a pissing contest...

Actually, the incident occurred on a previous day during the week, Monday July 23. There is video & witnesses of what took place. And the employee made a complaint of the person who violated her personal space by coming behind the counter to grab their hand & made offensive remarks. The employee also explained that the man was accompanied by someone else. The man who violated the associate should not have continued to say he wanted a “side” of the associate or that she was “the perfect age” or that he would never forget her & he would be back for sure. That man shouldn’t have returned more than once during the week and asked where the employee was by name either. Old men need to find older women to harass, flirt, &/or fondle, because young ladies should never feel threatened, violated, uncomfortable or scared when their jobs are to make sandwiches. So the quickest way to solve the matter is to beware of the company you keep & stay away from the place you were served a no trespass. The young lady’s safety & well-being is the upmost concern over someone’s embarrassment for the company they keep. So, do whatever is legally necessary, because the associate will be doing so as well.

Thanks Call the Cops; for the “rest of the story”. If some Dirty Ole Pervert would have touched one of my Daughters and “asked for a side of them” while they were at work. The Very Last thing Doug would be worried about would be being embarrassed at Walmart! I would have hit that Pervert right in the effing mouth and if Doug had a problem with it and wanted some he could have had a knuckle sandwich too instead of a Footlong sub...

Exactly...No one should ever be harassed & since people want to bring Jesus into this, how about they live by His examples & leave judgement to Him!

So obviously, you understand now that the employees did not call the police for no reason but rather had a very good reason to call, due to harrasment. I agree completely no one should be harassed no matter what age. The actions that were taken are completely justified.

Maybe you should be more selective with the company you keep if you don't want to be labled a dirty old man. Just a thought...

So you are saying that because of the company someone keeps that a person that was innocent should be condemned for the other persons actions? I guess Jesus would be banned from there, too.

Subway subway ivanhoe

Hi there

My name is Di, I just bought a footlong chicken fillet from Subway Ivanhoe in Melbourne and the girl who made my sub toasted it with another customer's footlong steak sub, I believe the time for toasting the chicken fillet should be longer than the steak, but she took out the two subs at the same time, so that when I had my sub, the fillet was not warm enough. It was definitely not toasted thoroughly. Anyway, I didn't have a great shopping experience and I feel like I should report it to the Management Team of Subway so that you are aware that one of your franchisee doesn't perform well who may need more training from the head office.

I am contactable via my email if you want to know more details: [protected]@gmail.com

Kind Regards

Di

Subway new manager

The Subway in Rensselaer used to be a pleasant place to sit down and eat. When the new manager, Amy, was hired, the subway went downhill fast. The underage employees are not allowed breaks, the place is extremely dirty, and the manager is rude to the customers and the employees. On multiple occasions I have witnessed the manager cursing at the employees, refusing to serve customers certain items they want, and complaining about the uncleanliness of the establishment. Amy, the manager, is a rude woman and should not be allowed to work in the food industry. Several employees have quit because of her tyrannical dictatorship she has implemented in the restaurant. Please take into consideration the well being of the minors that work there, the happiness and satisfaction of the customers, the cleanliness of the place, and fire the new manager. Thank you.
