Subway sanitary

We were looking forward to a subway sandwich and when we went to choose ingredients, a worker took a dirty rag and swiped it along the food in order to clean an empty well where some of the other food was. It made me so sick I had to run out of the place. I cannot go into another subway restaurant. Now a friend gave me a gift card for subway and I cannot tell her I get sick just thinking about it. I cannot seem to get into subways web complaint page. Please help

I can only imagine how you would felt about the big puddle of vomit that I almost stepped in in the parking lot of the grocery store today. You need to toughen up a little bit, girl. This is the real world. Don't ever go into the kitchen of your favorite restaurant. You might be suicidal.

Subway bad store

Bad subway! Slacker absent employees. Never open! Does not try. Only there to leech off students and taxpayers. Clearly, the manager/ owner is bad news for the subway brand!

Subway veterans day screwover

its veterans day.My grandfather fought for this country and saw a commercial on tv that all vets get a free subway sandwich. We go to this shp and they refuse to give him a free sandwich. He risks his life for this country and drove all the way to town for a sandwich which they refused to let him have.It may sound like a little thing-but today is about vets and if you say they get a free sandwich!give them a sandwich. The manager didnt want to give away anything free in my opinon he needs to be fired and my grandpa deserves a formal apology and his flippin sandwich!and ill do whatever it takes to make sure this all happens. But everyone needs to know.If your a vet dont go here-They have no respect for people who fought for our freedom.im proud of my grandfather and all veterans.they deserve alot more than this!

You should contact Subway corporate, as they need to make good on the offer. It is true that nearly all Subways are privately owned franchises and thus can opt out of corporate promotions. The Subway you went to obviously chose not to participate. Back to that in a moment. However, I think that when the corporate franchise makes a national ad to promote their brand AND the privately owned franchises, then the corporate office should make sure to make good on THEIR offer.

Back to the private franchise. Yes, the economy isn't great, but if the store will shut down by giving away a few subs, then where else are they cutting corners regarding paying customers orders? Also, a national ad promoting a free sub for veterans actually HELPS ALL privately owned subways with such a campaign. Here's how. Vets needs to eat just like everyone else, so they make choices as to where to eat. They and/or their family see the ad and decide to take their vet family member to Subway to get him/her a free sub. While there they will likely order more food, thus bringing in MORE customers than normally would come in on that day. Thus, one free sub can easily bring in 2, 3, 4, or more paying customers with it, which they wouldn't have sold if the national campaign weren't advertised.

OP, contact Subway corporate and ask for a coupon for a free sub for your grandfather. I'm sure they will honor your request. Then, do NOT go to that subway, go to another one and give them your business.

As for Vets getting free food, I don't think they are entitled to free anything except what our country promised to them. We the tax payers pay for those things. Thus we pay for the services provided by our vets. What we owe them is what we promised and that's all they are "entitled" to. Of course there is NOTHING wrong with a private corporation wishing to give a Vet something for free or whatever cost they want to charge. It's their private business and they should be allowed to make any offer they want, and customers can then freely decide if they agree by being a patron of those business's. As for my own personal belief about military service, I am befuddled by the constant notion that anyone and everyone who has served in the military is somehow a "hero". No, not everyone who served is a hero. Some served with distinction, and may truly have performed in a heroic way, and those hero's get recognized and awarded accordingly by military rules and regs. Yet, in the past couple of decades we have been inundated with constant messaging that anyone and everyone who has served in the military is somehow a "hero" just for having served, and frankly there is no clear reason or logic to accept or believe that. If you were drafted, then you had as much change of being called to service as any other eligible person. Nothing special there as it's every citizens duty to serve when called to serve. That's not "heroic" to perform your duty as a citizen. If you volunteered, then you choose to serve for your own reasons, and the military through our tax dollars made you an offer to serve and you choose to accept it for whatever your reason. Nothing "heroic" there either.
Yes, it's not a popular position to take, but it's one that needs to come out of the closet as way too many people are scared to say it.
I respect people who served, but I also respect the police, fire fighters, emergency personnel, and all other civil servants who help keep our country functioning. The term "hero" gets over used and over applied., and that simply diminishes what a true hero is or does.

I work at subway and feel very sad that my owner did not participate :(. I think it is a very nice gesture for subway to say "thank you" with a free sandwich, and shame on those franchises that couldn't "afford it". My grandfather also severed our country and he did NOT have a choice! It was called the DRAFT! So Forget your comment!

Your grandfather, and my own male relatives, fought for their country;. They did NOT fight for free food. The ads specifically state at participating stores. No one forced your grandfather to take a job in the military. He does not DESERVE anything but a thank you.

Subway fired for not working on days off

I was fired from Subway last night for not covering someone's shift after I told my boss that I am four hours away in Jackpot, NV with my girlfriend. On my schedule, it said I have Tuesday and Wednesday off so my girlfriend and I decided to drive to Jackpot, NV for a couple days.
Tuesday was fine and then Wednesday afternoon rolls around and we are in the casino when my boss calls me.My boss is a friend of mine too and I had told him Monday that my GF and I are going to NV and he told me to have fun.Anyways, he asked me if I can come into work and I told him "I'm sorry sir but I'm in Jackpot, remember?" He said he knows that but that one of my co-workers decided not show up and needs me there as soon as I can get there.I told him it will take me four hours to get there (without traffic) and that by the time I get there the store will be closed anyway.
He got mad at me and said "You know I am your friend but I am your boss too.I really need you right now." I kept apologizing that I couldn't come in but that he knew we had plans for my days off.Anyways, he said "Well tomorrow when you get back you can come pick up your last paycheck and find another job." I said ok and hung up the phone.
Sorry I wanted to enjoy my days off with my girlfriend. It sucks our friendship has ended along with my job but i'm sure I'll find something better!I don't even know if I should call corporate and report him.

jlads..., the other actions and instances you describe don't really have relevance to what happened. If indeed the OP did those things, then the manager needed to address those things when they happened. If need be the manager should have fired the OP for those things. But, getting mad at him for not coming in to work, when the manager knew he was 4 hours away and had the day off, is clearly poor management. Firing him for that particular incident is wrong. If the manager fired him because of all those other instances, then again, poor management for not taking control sooner.

As for the OP, sounds like you had a part-time job. If that's what it was, then move on. In most states employees work at the owners pleasure, meaning, barring harassment or discrimination, an employee can be fired for no needed reason. If the manager doesn't like you, or doesn't like your actions, or attitude, or whatever, barring harassment or discrimination, he/she can fire any employee as it suits the manager. You can contact corporate, and if there are other complaints lodged against that manager, then corporate may look into it if they so chose. But, it's no guarantee, especially if there aren't any other complaints against him.
Move on. It's great to have a job, but it's not like you're losing a career position due to your age or sex, which could indicate discrimination, and corporate would then have to respond.

Actually we worked together the OP and I and the real reason is that he kept calling in sick and he expected special treatment over other employees because he was friends with the boss. He was given more chances than others but he took advantage, was allowed extra long breaks, more breaks(he gave them to himself) and expected the boss to say nothing because they were friends.

Subway rip off alert

Visited Subway in Myrtle Beach 11/04/2012 and attempted to use a coupon from the Grand Strand Attractions book for Subway which clearly states the offer as being "Free subway sub of your choice with the purchase of a subway sub of equal or greater value" I was told "We are not honoring those coupons" I pointed out that the coupon was from the new book and didn't expire until 12/31/2013. She said it didn't matter and they would not honor the coupon. Total bait & switch scam. I won't be back.

Subway overcharged

Earlier this week my elderly brother (73 yrs old) and myself (70 yrs old) went to the Subway here in King, NC. My direct order was a 12 inch Philly Cheese with jalapenos, a 12 inch Italian with extra pravalone cheese and oil and vinegar. The server asked what else and I said 2 medium teas. He then asked what else on the Italian and I told him nothing. I have no bottom teeth, so I can not eat lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. When they brought the food to the take out window, I did not check the sandwiches as I expected them to be right. When we got back home, my brothers sub was ok, but when I opened mine, all I had was cheese on it. No meats whatsoever. A couple of hours later I had some errands to run so I went back to the Subway and spoke with the manager. I asked why they charged me $17. and some change for the subs like that. She informed me that that was what I ordered and it was considered a veggie sub. I do not understand how this could be a veggie sub when I ordered an Italian. She was rude to me and so I left. We are on social security and have always considered it a once a month treat to go to Subway. I guess that is out now. Just want to know What has happened to customer service?

Wow people. Judging from some of the comments it's clear what the employee job pool is and why customer service is so lacking these days. READ what the OP wrote. It was DRIVE through. Kinda hard to see sandwiches being made from inside your car, don't 'cha think? So, you subway experiences are clearly not all the likely experiences others may have. And, your comment got 2 votes, showing yet more of the potential employee pool who simply don't have simple reading comprehension, and would likely put only cheese on an "Italian" sub with NO veggies.
Oh, and great for the poster who's dentures allow him to eat all those wonderful things. But, how is that relevant to the OP's complaint?
Regardless of the OP's good or bad dentures, the customer told the subway employee what he/she wanted.

Why defend this obvious lack of customer service? The Subway employee got it WRONG. And then the manager tells the customer what he wanted and ordered. How in the world of good management would a "manager" offer that idiotic explanation.
The customer comes back to complain that his/her order was wrong, and the manager tells the customer that what he ordered was a "veggie", when clearly they did not. The words "Italian" and "veggie" sound nothing alike. It's likely that the employee thought that's what the customer ordered, but the customer came back to explain that that was NOT the order requested. Proper customer service should have been to apologize for the mistake or misunderstanding and offer a refund or a new sandwich to the customers liking.
THAT would have been customer service.
These days it seems employees and managers are more about being right and proving their interpretation, then to actual serve the customer. It's a freaking restaurant. You don't tell the customer what they want. The customer tells you and you need to be clear and ask questions, and not guess or tell the customer what they want. God bless all of us, as we surely need it when we can't even get a freaking simple sandwich order correct without making it an arguable issue.

At all of the Subways I've ever gone to, you watch them make the sandwich. I can always stop them I if I see them putting something I don't like on it. It's kind of hard to mess it up if you are watching it being made.

Subway employee unfairness

finally, I believe in always furthering my education and the managers have try manipulating co-workers in not attending school by not meeting schedule changes and treating us like we dont have any future at all. They have told all the workers that we are no longer allowed to change schedules or even put in a schedule change. I know that they are not required to do anything we asked for but can't they at least meet us halfway so that we can find a resolution. What am I suppose to do is let these people run the store downhill? I have notice regular customers have gone missing. Customers have felt like they are not treated right. the whole idea that the customer is right is no longer relevant. I no longer know how i am suppose to complaint about my work experience. I have tried talking to the managers but they seem to show no interest in my well-being.

Subway incompetant staff

Most of the staff are wonderful but there is a dark skinned woman who works here that makes the messiest and most sloppy sandwiches that you could imagine! I've asked her several times to take her time and do her job properly to which she constantly rolls her eyes and becomes defensive. Went to the manager who appears to be a useless push over. I will NOT be returning and will escalate this matter. Unacceptable and embarrassing for the declining restaurant chain.

Maybe try ordering fewer toppings? My husband has the same issue, but it's because he gets a sweet onion teriyaki sandwich with spinach, jalapenos, tomatoes, sweet peppers, green peppers, onions, and probably some other things I'm forgetting...there's only so much they can fit in those 6 inches!

Not saying that's the case here, but it's something to think about.

Subway rude to children

On Thursday June 28th, I was in the subway restaurant with my son. I was getting good him to practice ordering when it was his turn to order the man behind the counter was extremely impatient and rude. He was mocking my son because he wasn't giving him eyeecontact and because he was being indecisive. I yelled at the man behind the counter and he ignored me and continued to mock my son. I was so disgusted. What kind of customer service is this? I expect this incident to be dealt with immediately as it was a very bad experience for my 9 year old son. This is discaugsting behavior!

Subway dirty, rude and insulting

I went to cocoa beach subway (it is a subway/dairy queen) near state road 520 in Cocoa Beach on north Atlantic avenue. When I walked in my opinion it needed to be cleaner (in my opinion it was a roach motel). I grudgingly ordered a sandwich and had special conditions that they would not adhere to. the person I believe to be the manager said "we don't accommodate Jews!" All I wanted was to keep pork from touching my sandwich. So I left and went to the cape Canaveral subway. Again I believe it could be cleaner and again in my opinion was another roach motel. Again I was cautious about ordering, but did. They also would not accommodate my request and then the person I believe to be the manager of the one in cocoa beach appeared and they whole nastiness of the alleged cleanliness of the two subways made sense. The woman who may or may not be a manager of the two subways stated "get out ~ we don't serve f*cking Jews." This hate monger needs to be behind bars.

Subway disturbed by recent subway commercial - advertisement

I was watching CBS this evening and during a commercial break, I caught one of your commercials that was just disturbing. It was one where a couple (don't remember if they were married or not) were sitting out on a blanket watching the stars. The girl asks to make a wish together. Apparently the guy wishes that his girlfriend becomes a Subway sub because she all the sudden transforms into one.

What kind of message are you trying to send to people? That your subs have more worth than someone's girlfriend? That is low. Very low. And I refuse to eat at any of your restaurants again until you remove this terrible commercial from the airwaves.

Sincerely

Subway welcome to america, now speak english!

This subway is close to my job so my co-workers and I were pretty much regulars here. Not anymore though. I went once and ordered a BLT, and since 3 people were waiting on my order who all did not speak sufficient English I didn't notice the lack of LT. I came back with a B. No LT. Just bread and bacon. Seriously? Every time they slack on ingredients, no one speaks English well. Or at all for that matter. I moved here from another country, learned the language and adjusted, now please do everyone a favor and do the same!

For your information, all of the sandwiches at subway are open-ended. Meaning, YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU PUT ON THE SANDWICH.
Were you watching them as they made your sandwich? Did you explicitly say you would like to add lettuce and tomato?

If you didn't, I would highly suggest preening your own communication skills. Don't blame an employee working a ### minimum-wage job to support his or her family.

shame on you.

This is partially your fault. You tell them what you want on it, and WATCH them make it. Also, a BLT doesn't have to have Lettuce and Tomato at Subway. It's called a BLT because the only meat on it is bacon. You choose what veggies you want on it. Granted if you wanted "the basics" they should have put only lettuce and tomato on it, but you should have been there when they were making it.

This is a little different if it was a call-in order. In that case you should make sure that they know exactly what you want on it. They might make a mistake, or you might forget to mention it.

I personally work with Phillopinoes at my store and some people do complain, but from what I have gather it is only the people who have trouble understand THEM who complain, because they get frustrated with their accent. Also, people need to learn to speak up when visiting Subway. The toasters and ovens are very noisey so it can be difficult to hear the customer at times.

I don't understand. Whenever I go to Subway, I watch while they make my sandwich, since they ask what veggies and condiments I want. I have never seen a customer order and walk away from the counter while their sandwich was being prepared. this being my experience, I must ask, did you watch them put your sandwich together, and if so, did you not notice when they failed to put the LT on your BLT?

You are so right. Once I called HSBC bank and I could not understand their English. I asked for a person who speaks English and they told me that they were speaking in English. I told them it was not the type of English I understand and they finally put on a different person. When I was in grammar school in Bronx, NY back in the early 70's, some kids came for other countries and didn't speak English at all. They were taught separately in the back of the room with a teacher's aid. In a few months they were speaking perfect English. Now they have bi-lingual classes to cater to their needs. They will never learn the language that way.

Subway $5 sub

On my lunch i went to the Subway Restaurant on 6133 South Blvd, Charlotte NC 28224. I bought two 6inch subs( cold cut and chicken bacon ranch). I didnt know that they were footlong February until I got to work and my friends told me. So i called the store to tell my complaint and the Manager comment was, " So what do you want me to do about it". She never once appologize or offered me the other half of my sub. She was so rude and uncaring. She told me well if you want the other half of the sub you will have to buy and said she was busy. I will never go back to that store and I will tell everyone at work. I will also place the incident on the board at work.

I have heard several people talking about eating at Subway. I told him about the incident and he said it was partly my fault for not reading the signs. I told him be better not come back with Subway or I would put an anonymous note in the manager's office saying he is sexually harassing me. Another was a mother of an eight year old boy and seven year old twin girls(fratinal)also wanted to order from Subway. I told her if she brought food from Subway that I would call CPS and say that she beats her children. She told me to take a hike and has not talked to me ever since, especially since I just said that to scare her into changing her mind.

I don't lie so I did not make false reports to these people, but I was hoping with my threats that they would listen to me.

If you order 2-6 inch sandwiches that are different its not up to a Subway sandwich maker to tell you everything is $5.00 A 6" sandwich is still cheaper. Show some accountability yourself...They gave you what you ordered...unless your a complete ### and can't do the math.

FIRST of all, Sir/Ma'am, or WHOever you are,
Number One: There are MULTIPLE signs on the menu, the door, as well as window clingings that advertise for FebruANY. It is extremely rude, disrespectful, and childish of you to call and complain because of your ignorance and negligence to take notice to ANY of the signs. And if you want to whine because the Sandwich Artist who was making your sandwich didn't advertise it to you, take notice: Some owners forbid their employees to upsell to footlongs during the month of February to cut down on ordering costs.
Number Two: The Owner should have handled the situation professionally, but she does have her own store and may run it as she pleases.
Number Three: You are COMPLETELY childish, ignorant, selfish, and stupid to harass and threaten theses individuals, simple as that. If you want to act like that, there's a good chance that you're not taken seriously in life. and that makes me sad for you.

Face it, its YOUR OWN FAULT that you CHOSE to miss out on the deal. Maybe this will teach you to use your eyes and be more observant.

lol, so because you can't read you wanna come back and get more food? I mean c'mon people. It's completely stupid that you would even think we would say yea come on back and get another 6inch. 1st off, during that month the place is a disaster, subway corporate offices have terrible layouts for the rest of the franchises. In ways they tell owners to run their stores. yea just have 2 people run the store all day have em work like they're getting paid 20 dollars an hour, but pay em minimum wage that's it. There are no pay raises. 2nd have you ever gone out to eat at another business, and after you order said actually i missed that special can I get more food for free? No you haven't because subway has it laid out so everyone get's how much of whatever they want. The only people who come in to subway are greedy individuals like yourself. Here's an example guy comes in says he wants 2 footlongs, they are still 2 for 5 right, no sir if you READ the sign its after 4, oh well I'll just take one then lol

Subway rude employers

i used to work for subway the one next to buntings warehouse in nerang and they would have had to have been the worst people i have ever come across in the work place and out.

they were verbally abusive not just to me but my fellow team mates, if we were sick and provided them with a docs cert they would call us liars and make us start at 6am
if we went on holidays they would punish us by a weeks worth of 5-6am morning starts if we were even 2 mins late to start they would yell at you, if you wanted a day of they would complain and more then likely make you work, on our days off she would call and make us work on our days off then not give us another day off for a whole week. i told them i was doing a course and the male owner began to yell at me in front of my fellow workers which was obviously embarrassing, i just advise no one to work for those monsters, if they fire you or you quit they wil more then likely try and get out of paying you your last pay as they are doing that to me and have done to some other employees that i know off.

Subway I will no longer support this business

After leaving one of the two Subway's in our town because they had absolutely No cheese, in a sandwich shop! My wife & I went to Subway at Walmart. Didn't have the bread I wanted. Out of 3 of the 4 cheeses offered, no onions & there is a supermarket 30 feet away. So I paid almost $9.00 for this sandwhich full of attitude & excuses from the girl behind the counter who didn't want to hear how I felt about it. She then tossed my sandwich towards me & proceeded to have a meltdown. When a company spends the kind of money Subway pays for their extensive ad campaigns to entice us to try their new products. They need to spend a little more on operations & employee training. There was no manager in the shop to answer my questions. Subway must feel comfortable leaving their billion dollar business in the hands of emotional 17 year olds. I will no longer support this business!

I can see this being true I've worked for subway almost
3 years and for the first 1.5 things were good and proper. Now I am the only
Person who washes their hands properly all the time and I've seen everyone there do unethical things like touch food without gloves. One person is very bad he will touch a garbage can and then touch food without hand washing or Gloves it disgusts me. And to the judgmental commenter would you be so quick to blow your whistle if you had a family to support and work was as scarce as it is now. What if you did this and other fast food owners and managers heard about it and refused
To hire you. Don't be so quick to judge because I'm sure your far from perfect or even
Close to as righteous as you perceive yourself to be

Subway hostile owner

If you order a basic item, and the sandwich apparently adds more toppings, without asking you what you want - expect to pay for it! At least that's what the owner of Lynchburg Virginia's Subway's commands. After over a year and a half of doing business with some great sandwich makers and managers, with no problems - today was my day.

I ordered a new sandwich for the first time. The sandwich maker was new, and had to read the instructions. No problem. I just wanted the plain sandwich (e.g. Veggie Delight), and "whatever comes with it" I said. So she prepares the sandwich, and all looks great. Then when it comes time to check out, it was rung up for 25% more. I politely asked, "why the price difference, I don't mind paying the additional cost, but can you tell me why it is that and not the price you all have posted?" She didn't know why it rang up that way. After a minute, and her asking someone else, the "owner" comes out.

I ask the same question, and he informs me I got the "Signature". (I'm thinking, what is the Signature, I just wanted that simple sandwich.) I point to the large picture on the board with the sandwich and price that I asked for. He barks back, but you have all of these extra toppings. I felt bad, because the lady who made the sandwich did not ask me, but I didn't want to throw her under the bus and get her in trouble. Unfortunately, the owner kept on going, and started being sarcastic and rude. I tried making a simple comparison, something along the line that if I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and the person making the pizza added on extra toppings, without customer authorization, why would they expect the customer to pay for that. Of course he didn't get it, and kept sarcastically defending himself, "you see where I am coming from? They made you this sandwich, that is why you are charged that!" (Sighing) By this time, 5 more people were behind us. "Fine, " he tells his nice employee, just refund his money $0.50. (I didn't even care about the .50 cents, I was only wondering why the price difference, and explaining I didn't want the added cost - it was really just an FYI on my part. But, he had to keep going! Trying to explain the already explained.

He comes out from behind the counter and continues his heated comments. I kindly asked if I could get the owner of the store's information (at this moment I didn't know he was the owner), which he replied I'm talking to him. So, I asked then if I could have his business card, to which he replied, "I'm right here, why should I give it to you?" (This is unbelievable! Obviously the guy is having a bad day!).

So, I leave and then he asks for my name in a threatening manner. So, with nothing to hide, I tell him, even spelling out my last name. (Was he wanting to look me up, conduct some background check on me? Either way, it was just adding to his hostile attitude).

So, as I leave I decide to see if I could relay this (not so pleasant) experience back to Subway, just "for the record". I was informed, that Subway relays all complaints only back to the owner. (LOL!) So, I asked HQs, "if an owner spits in your face, you don't take the complaint - even though they have a franchise agreement and are carrying your brand - Subway not take note of that and only forward it back to the owner who spit in your face." Yes. That's what happens at Subway. Amazing!

So, since they don't take a complaint, I thought there is no better place to air grievances than to other consumers. For me, I will continue to do business at his stores (first, because the fool owns all of them and I have no choice ((ha)) - unless I totally boycott Subway while I live here - ; second, I've never had to deal with the guy until now, and chances are I will go another year and a half without seeing him again (crossing fingers).

What comes most of a surprise, and the main reason for this post, is that Subway Headquarters will only forward your complaint back to the owner. This is understandable for those who have issues with their experience with other staff, but not if your issue is with the owner him/herself. So, Subway's policy is - If the owner treats you wrong, deal with it or go someplace else. : )

Subway rudeness

I went to the Dallas subway today at 9:30 pm, and when upon ordering a sandwhich and the worker was very rude. It's not my fault that I am picky and I like my sandwhich a certain way, its their job to make it. I recommend never going there again, cause you will get horrible customer service.

I am disabled & went into subway with my daughter.I requested a soft pretzel which my daughter asked for.She was told they did not know if they had pretzels. Then did not check to make sure.I went back to employee to ask for the soft pretzel.I was totally ignored-They were not waiting on any cust's but chatting between each other & looked my direction & continued ignoring me.I have a hard time standing due to my disaility & was hurting while waiting & finally after 5 minutes standing there waiting for assistance. The girl behind counter, finally asked what I wanted & acted like she had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for a soft pretzel & said if they had some-it would be where sandwich meat was.I know that is not true since I often go to subway.I seen the soft pretzels & was told it was only for display. The women looked at me rudely & simply didn't feel like doing thier job.

I'm a teenager and I had a very rude Subway service.

It was on a Wednesday, and I was staying after school like I always did and was picked up by my sister in late afternoon. We were in the car and I asked her what my mom had planned for dinner, she said my mom didn't have anything planned yet. I suggested we get subs. We picked up my mom at her work and drove to the Subway right down the street. My mom and sister wanted subs from somewhere else so my sister gave me money and let me go in. As I walked in, there was a man who was helping another man with his sub and was giving me a dirty look. I walked up to the counter and waited for him to serve me. When he finished with the gentleman he was serving, he came over and just stared at me. He didn't even ask me what I wanted, which I found quite rude. After hesitating slightly, I said "I'd like a foot long Italian Herbs and cheese." He turns around and gets the bread and cuts it like he's supposed to. I told him "Can you make that chicken terryaki please?" He stayed silent and put on the chicken, then asked "Would you like it toasted." "Yes, please" "What kind of cheese?" "American" again silence. He slaps the cheese on rather agressively and then puts the sub on the tray and puts it into the oven. He stayed by the oven with his hand on the handle and looked near the front of the store, and gave me a dirty look while it was cooking. I pretended not to notice by just casually looking at the menu above. He came over and set the sub down and stared at me again without asking what I wanted. I said "A little bit of lettuce, and a little bit of onion" He added them. "And that's it." "No sauce?" "No thank you" and he packed up the sub. I scooted down as another employee, a female, ringed up my order and I payed for it. As I handed her the money, he seemed to toss/drop the sub on the counter and turned and walked away like I didn't even exist. I was very dissatisfied with Subway's service. I honestly believe that Subway needs to hire more respectful employee's.

"It's not my fault that I am picky..."

Then who's fault is it? Certainly not the workers. People who are overly picky seem to think they have a right to having everything their way and if it's not up to their standard than it's garbage. Perhaps, instead of being a picky, selfish human being, you could understand that you should be glad that you even have the POSSIBILITY of being picky. Just because you leave in a country that has an abundance of food and money doesn't me you should be a complete and utter pain. WHY are you so picky? Is there a reason besides the fact that you believe that you deserve what you demand? Maybe you should stop being so demanding and take things as they are and understand that other people, even if their job is to wait on you, are still human beings. Deal with it you stuck up American.

Subway eat fresh? eat dirty!

Subway has a fridge full of expired food. They always just change the labels. They never actually make fresh food. They fill up the food area too much so the top food isn't getting cold. The bread they keep using they don't throw away when it gets hard, they still serve it.. Subway is so nasty, and dirty, and gross, and unprofessional. They don't wash veggies or change their knifes or sanatizer water! REALLY GROSS. They don't even temperature their food, they fake it, so they could be in the danger zone, but they fake it to pass inspection! THEY also had expired chips they were selling.
