Subway rude employee

We ordered a foot long breakfast sandwich and was given a straight wrong order. The Mexican ady that was at the register was kind enough to say come back and I will make another with no charge. We came back while we were speaking with the "Manager" some lady come from the back and started to say " Next time make sure you order the right thing because this can be the store that will not return the order again." My reply" all stores will return if the order was taken wrong". her reply " I do not think so. I went to a place they did not let me exchange so I know so" our reply " The customer is alway's first and who are you to come from the back ofthe room and come be rude to a customer and not even know what happened? " her reply " I work here." Our Reply " Well you need to get your fact's straight before you come barging in with a high pitched voice to an elderly women telling her thing's about her order. We asked twice what size the breakfast came in and the lady at the register said only in muffin size". I went online to check and it was not true so I called the restaurant to make sure and the lady had a misunderstanding I guess. Anyways this ghetto chick need's to stop working at the restaurant she does not bring any happiness and is really rude. The so called manager is not taking any action and we did not get an apology just a dirty look from the broad. I was wondering who else I can speak to.

Subway always out of food, or debit down

You can go into the store, and want a sandwich and they are always out of the required food stuffs to make it, Are they really a bussiness?, Not really.Cause ive seen where they will make your sandwich, then you can't pay cause the debit is out of order.
Don't goto this location first thing in the morning as you will stand around waiting as the staff that works nighs is leaving all there work till the morning before there boss gets there, , so are left waiting for service.
We have three locations in the city and the only one that seems to be able to do the job they advertise is the main st location, Could this be cause the main manager far all the subways in the city works there..
Complaints fall on deaf ears as nothing ever seems to be done to rectify the problem...thankfully there is numerous other fast food places in the city that are more than willing and prepared to take your order, Get it right, Say thankyou, And actually have staff doing there job.

Subway microwave

I am a regular customer at subway and I always have my subway toasted, but tonite they charged me the price for the toasting and put it in microwave which made the bread soft and taste horrible and when I complained they said that's the way it is and the main people at subway will do nothing about it and I think it was rude. yours sincerely Sean woodsford

Subway bad service, overcharging, rude behavior, trash talks customers rips people off thieves

the subway in okeechobee, fl has the worst servce or just bad. it's run by imbeciles and jerks...and rude females...i went to get a sub and then the girl making my sub asked the fat nasty white trash hoebag next to her if she can put my vegetables on--the white trash hippo then made a rude comment stating "im not dealing with HER" in a rude way...for no reason...as ive never even been to that subway before. Then, on top of those comments, bad attitude, they overcharge people adn dont ring things up as combos-- they ring it up individually and you can't argue with them they will defend themselves. They rip people off overcharge them...and treat them badly...the trailer trash wenches that work there need some serious attitude changes and wores they are stealing from customers and people by charging them wrongly, charging for tiny 'cups' and overcharging them...shame on those low lifes...its the only subway in town so be careful as illiterate white trash are the only losers it seems to employ

This place cheats customers. Ordered a foot long cold cut special promo sandwich but ask only to put one type of meat that comes in a cold cut sandwich. And the Indian guy charged me more. Very unethical business practice.

Subway wrong order 6 times in a row

In the last 3 months we have visited this particular subway approxiamatly 6 times, following each visit my fiance' and I have had horrible experience involving customer service, food preperation, amount of time waiting and general lack of leadership when asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. Mere minutes ago we called to talk to a manager about our order being woefully misprepared and were informed that the manager was not available. This is not an isolated incident it has happen numerous times to me and several of my aquaintances. After seeking help from this specific location I have resorted to going farther across town to go to lunch at a different resteraunt or even a subway that has proper service. I am extremly displeased and will be informing friends and coworkers to steer clear of subway.

Subway contest is a rip-off

Subway's "Fiery Footlong Frenzy" contest is nothing but a rip-off.
Within two weeks, all my local Subways had no more 32 oz cups with contest codes.
The codes on Sun Chips Monterey Jack and Tomato are repeats - there seem two be only three or four different ones printed on the bags, and Subway's website tells me "You've already used this one. Sorry."
The stickers put onto breakfast sandwiches are also extremely limited in number. I got the same code on two different stickers IN THE SAME VISIT! And (as noted above) they don't allow use of any code entered before.
Consider this: With over 140 trillion possible combinations of 10-letter codes, why should there be any repeats?
Obviously, to lure people into buying their products to enter a contest in which the customers cannot possibly win a prize because the contest codes are no good.
Subway gets your money -- you get frustration.

Subway delivery not as per order placed

Complaint against SUBWAY -

Store no 23117
Kapadia Indstrial Estate
Shop #5, near Dominos,
Andheri Kurla Road
Chakala
Mumbai -400093

Details of the order placed -
Store no 23117
Bill no: receipt # [protected]
Trans# 40clerk 12 vicky

We had ordered 7 subway sandwich, particularly specifying, based on the past experience, that kindly put sufficient ingredients and the sauces. Also had asked the concerned person to take down the order on a piece of paper so that there is no confusion on the specifications of the choice of bread and the contents. However, the order was not as placed. The oreganos bread was replaced with a brown bread and also there was as good as nothing in the subway s/w, no tomatoes, olives and lettuce and sauces.
Highly disappointed with the service. Kindly need you to look in to the matter as this is not the 1st time we have such a complaint. Also keeping in mind that the order was of around Rs 700, which is not a petty amount. ALso the person taking the order says that the s/w will be of a lower grade as there is a lot of rush - are we not paying the same amount as the others are, while placing the order at the store?
The manager there was Ashutosh – who, when complained to did not give the desired response. All the more dis appointed - we actually need a refund as most of us did not eat the sandwich.

THERE IS NO RESPONSE TILL DATE INSPITE OF POSTING COMPLAINTS COUPLE OF TIMES!

Ms. HILLI DESAI

Subway steak and cheese rip off

Yesterday I went to subway and decided that I wanted to try something new. So I looked at the menu and I wanted the steak and cheese, not the big philly cheese steak. I only had about 8 dollars so when they were done with my sandwich they told me to pay 9 dollars. I said wait but I ordered the steak and cheese which is only $6.75 and he told me no that i had a cheese steak. So i said whats the difference and he responded with IT costs more. SO I said Im not paying extra for something I didnt order. So he talks to the person that made my sandwich and he came back told me sorry. So i got my sandwhich. What i dont get is why make two sandwhiches so alike that the employees cant tell the difference. Other than that, I love subway!

I just wonder why it is when you order a basic sandwich at Subway, a normal slice of cheese is tossed on at no extra charge. However when I say "no cheese", I don't get a discount. Then I watch my friend behind me order "extra cheese", and they get charged extra for the cheese I should have received free. I bet Subway has some interesting tax return statements.

if you paid $6.48 for a sub at subway you probably got extra cheese or bacon. plus the tax you ###.

Subway clerk with attitude!

The average sanwich order that I always get from every Subway normally with a smile was a great challenge for the girl making my sandwich on 8/25/10 at 4:42 p.m., . A 6 inch tuna with swiss on white/ toasted w/ tomatoes lettuce and mayo. She drug herself into the assembly line and rudely asked me what was it I was getting again "you was just gettin a veggie?' No I've been waiting on you to make my tuna sanwich... After she sloppily slung LITE mayo onto it I asked her why? I just said Mayo. (Lite taste funny to me.) She scraped it off. then I kindly asked for parmesan cheese to be sprinkled on my scraped and smeared tuna and cheese. "Thats gonna be extra cheese you gone have to pay for it!" she implied. Nevermind I just want to get out of here never to return! I never have been asked to pay for a sprinkle of cheese on my subway before! Terrible service with a terrible attitude! With footlong attitudes for free!

Thinking back on the moment of her asking me if I had order a veggie and putting unrequested Lite mayo on my sandwich...was this girl trying to imply something?

Subway think twice you rude customers

okay, all you people that have the most unnecessary complaints about subway, how bout you look at it from the other side of the spectrum. I work at a subway and have some advice for you brainless people.
1)we cannot put four handfuls of onions or a whole container of pickles on your sandwich. Everything has guidelines just like every other store. Stop complaining how you don't get enough vegetables and learn that unless you want to start being charged for vegetables, let us follow OUR OWN RULES.
2)everyone says that we have a bad attitude. first of all get off your cellphone while being in the store, stop yelling at your kids or talking to friends. we have a job to do and we would rather not want to wait for you to get your act together. We ask the same questions for every sandwich, so help us out by just telling us what you want. We don't need our "robotic or monotone" voices if you would juss tell us answers to questions before we ask them.
3)if you tip your waitress/waitor at a restraunt for just serving your food, then why dont you tip or even thank the people that make AND serve your food. Its so hard to even hear a thanks from customers anymore.
4)We DO NOTTTTT want to hear lame jokes, like when we ask what can i get for you? then do not use the following responses: a million dollars, the winning lottery ticket, a sandwich, or WORST OF ALL-- I DONT KNOW. you know you are obviously coming to subway. you have thoughts about subway. how do you not know what you want? and if you are ordering for someone and we ask, for instance, what vegetables you want- dont say whatever you usually put on or i dont know. WE DO NOT HAVE A USUAL THAT WE PUT ON! every customer is different and has what they like and by saying i dont know, WE HAVE NO BETTER IDEA!
5)at my subway, we dont do mini sandwiches anymore. stop complaining and just get a six inch. if you get a kids meal, you HAVE to get APPLES, not chips, and WHITE/CHOCOLATE MILK OR JUICE BOX, not pop. we don't have any control over this. we cant jus put make your own kids meal on our computer. also we do ham, turkey, roast beef or veggie for minis. as you can read this does not include veggie, bologna or chicken. also, you know what your kdis are going to get PLEASEEEE DO NOT LET THEM ORDER, we cannot hear them and they are slow. im sorry, juss bein strait up.
6)LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT: DONT SAY I NEED OR I WANT OR GIVE ME. USE YOU FCKN MANNERS AND SAY CAN I PLESAE HAVE. ITS SO DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE WHEN YOU SAY THINGS LIKE A IMMATURE CHILD. 4 OUT OF 5 CUSTOMERS DO THIS. DONT BE ONE OF THEMMMMMM!

I totally agree with some of the complaining points! But, like many have posted, this person sounds unglued! There is nothing more annoying than trying to wait on someone who has a phone PLUGGED INTO THEIR EAR! It's beyond rude. Perhaps a good response would be, take your time, I will wait on the next customer, let them stand with their phone glued to their ear wondering why they aren't being waited on!

Too many times I've been in a Grocery check out with the person in front of me having a PHONE PLUGGED INTO THEIR HEAD, and the poor cashier is trying to get their attention. At this point, I would love to see the customers groceries put aside, and tell her there is a long line, and when she is ready, she can go to the end of the line!

But, unfortunately there are too many obnoxious rude customers who never learned common courtesy, but at the same time, the job requires much patience, and if your one who lacks patience, working @ a SUBWAY is not the place for you. I find many Subways are owned by Foreigners who's English leaves much to be desired, along with their communication skills, which can be frustrating. Technology has created some serious problems, but guidelines have to be enacted for everyone.

I went there [protected]. I gave the cashier $27 dollars for a $16 order. I waited to see what the cashier would do. She just gave me the cent change and the receipt. I told her she gave me the wrong change. She asked to see my receipt and kept it. Just gave me $5 back. Now I have no receipt to prove she scammed me. This is poor business. Bad people. I told her I would report her and she proceeded to call the police to defend her scam. I just walked out of the restaurant. Subway Store number #72.

Subway double charging debit card

I purchased one 5$ foot long Subway sandwich and got charged on my debit card for two.
The attendee at the Subway the next day said that I would have to bring in my bank
statement and the original receipt before they would refund any money.
I live in another town away from this Subway and feel that there has to be another way rather than use up gasoline or get screwed out of and extra total of $5.43. This seems like a scam. The sandwich version of telephone bill cramming.

This ends my patronage of Subway since I don't know if and when that could happen again.

I am sorry that's not a clear statement on my part . I had not driven back over there yet since it is a town away. I thought I should be able to give the receipt number and
transaction# over the phone- that should clearly show an issue with the numbering of the receipts that show a record of the purchases and that there was one receipt with one sandwich on it. But why would I risk that happening again by staying a Subway customer? I wouldn't. I just think it was a good thing I was not traveling through the state or something. I am required to make an appearance with my bank statement too.

They have triple charged us. When using rewards program if you enter wrong phone number scan your card it says declined. So you do it again with another phone number declines again not being able to remember which phone number you gave 18.76 charged 2 times. My daughter finally paid the $18.76. So we ended up paying over $56. What A SCAM!

subway didn't overcharge you ...regions did ...how do i know you have a regions bank card because ...they have had other people that were charged twice however the subway only has one transaction that goes into the register. ...Call your REGIONS BANK go to www.ipcoop.com and there you will find subways partners and maybe get some help on getting this all figured out.

Just call your bank and dispute the transaction. Say you are out of town and can't return to the store or something.

If the store can't provide a signed receipt (which is probably, since most fast food places take the risk and don't require signatures for small transactions in order to decrease wait times), the bank will get your money back.

Subway very unsatisfied, poor service

I was very unhappy with my sandwich from suubway. Unfortunately I opened it when I got home so was not away with any issues with the final product.

I ordered a veggie and had to fight to basically get any veggies on it. I asked for black olives and she put 5 on it, there were 4 thin strips of onion, and 3 tomatoe slices. They were out of cucumbers. I was about 2 inches in before I found any veggies on the sandwich, which I threw anyways because I asked for a little salt and pepper and she loaded it with just pepper!

I will definately not go back to the subway at the Holyoke Mall in Massachuetts!

Subway overpriced for what you get

Food is way overpriced and not even that good. I ordered a 6" sub with a coke and a bag of chips and they charged me $8.50... Ridiculous! I can eat a full coarse meal at a much nicer restraunt for that price. Fast food is a rip off!

THE SUBWAY RIPOFF - Funny how Subway advertised the $5 footlong sandwich which included ANY sub on the menu, but once allegations were made regarding the actual size of their footlongs measuring only 11 inches they modified their advertising to exclude this language, promised their subs would in fact measure 12 inches AND more importantly they increased the price of ALL their sandwiches! The bottom line here, the executives clearly knew making their sandwiches 1 inch short would save them an average of .40 cents per sandwich and when they were called on that fact is when they increased the sandwich to the 12 inches as promised but raised the price to ensure they didn't lose that .40 cents. In fact, they are actually making out better this way because they have given people that extra inch but is also charging them more than twice as much for it.

Another note here is the fact that Subway measures all the meats on their sandwiches. They claim this is to ensure sandwiches are made consistently but the reality is, based on reports from internal sources, they would become obsessed with the fact that they could save a penny here or a penny there by giving customers the absolute minimum - and that all adds up to money in their pocket and less food in your belly.

I absolutely LOVE the commercial from a competitor that shows their sandwich next to a subway sandwich where they use a vacuum cleaning to take off all the lettuce and other toppings, leaving just a few pieces of meat on the bun because it's absolutely true. After carefully analyzing the amount and type of meats they put on, you're actually paying for the bun and toppings -- because on average THEIR costs for the meat they put on each sandwich is about 35 cents ---- on a nearly $9 sandwich, so tell me that's not a rip off?

Subway manager

The Subway in Rochelle IL is one of the worst. Management that steals money, tells employees not to contact them because they are going to be doing so much drugs they wont be able to answer their phones. The management does not have a professional bone in her body. They pay less than minimum wage. Does not give their employees breaks at all even if they work 10 hours a day. (Unless you smoke) I have been in there when the employees are sick. Bent over in pain at the garbage can and the manager will not come in to relive them.
Talks about the employees so the customers can hear. Talks about the customers after they leave. When you complain of these things it goes in one ear and out the other.
I have contact the corp. office and still nothing changes.

Sounds like the same issues that were going on at the Subway in Colorado where I use to work. The two crappy, lazy, rude, dirty co-workers that I had to work with would go out of their way to make my job harder. Both of them would always be late, leave early, or call in and never got any sort of consequences from the manager. They had a lot of bad reviews and quite a few complaints from unhappy customers. Their behavior and sloppy work also made me look bad because I worked with them. I finally had enough and quit when one of them, named Jonathan, started yelling and cussing at me while puffing his scrawny chest and pointing his finger in my face and calling me woman in a degrading way. He snapped and acted the a crazy, irrational person. He did this to me while we were on the line with a few customers watching in shock. The manager was also on the line and allowed it to happen before nicely telling him to clock out and go home...no, not for punishment, it was his time to clock out anyway. He continued his yelling, cussing rant while hitting the walls in the dining area when going to leave. The manager told him to go sit at a table with her and talk. He, at first was being loud and nasty during the talk and a customer heard it when he came in and asked me how is that he still has a job. Jonathan calmed down because she kissed his butt and did nothing about the aggressive way he came at me. Once I found out that he gets to keep his job and gets ZERO consequences, I quit right away because there was no way I would've been able to work by him after he just showed how explosive and unpredictable he is.

Subway coupon ripoff

My boss and I wanted to use a "Free Sub" coupon that said "Get a regular 6-inch sub free when you buy a 6-inch sub of equal or greater price and a 21 oz. drink" My boss got a 6-inch turkey & bacon avocado on wheat bread. I got a 6-inch turkey & bacon avocado on flatbread. At the register we were told we could not use the coupon because my order had flatbread. Makes no sense to me since both items have the same price. What a ripoff!

You didn't follow Subway rules

I had a problem with Subway charging me for extra meat even though my order was for the club less the ham. The guy who waited on me was the manager.

I demanded an explanation and was told Subway has the 'right' to charge extra because I ordered something not on the menu.

Subway's customer service in Connecticut agreed with the manager. The snippy little CS agent told me "Subway is not a deli"

Best bet is to avoid Subway. Unless you know of a franchise that believes in giving the customer what they want.

Subway bad customer service

On July 17th at 19:00 hrs. My family and I walked into Subways at 118 W Stetson Ave. Hemet CA, 92543 for three sandwiches. One Italian Spicy Sub, one Tuna, and a Chicken Salad Sandwich. They said “we have no Chicken Salad” we then said how about Chicken teriyaki. David P. “employee” said we don’t have enough of that type of Chicken "Shredded". O.K. so we ordered a Chicken & Bacon Ranch…. So, we had the three sandwiches toasted and when we were about to pay he asked me those were toasted right? I said “YES” so he then changed the price of the sandwiches about two dollars more.. I asked why is it more for being toasted. He said to me “because of California Taxes” we TAX you when it’s toasted…. He then proceeded in running my Debit Card and he said “oops, can’t connect to server” sorry but our Visa Machine is down, do you have cash? I said no I don’t.. He then tried to run my card again, and again it said “Can’t connect to server”… He then wrote down my VISA number and information on a piece of paper and went to the back office.. I then asked another employee that I was not feeling comfortable about them taking my VISA info in the back room. She said well there coming back now. Then they tried to run my card again, and again it said “Can’t connect to server”… Then they took my sandwiches at 19:25 hrs. and said sorry we can’t help you…. I asked for the Managers name and he said it was Mary and she will be here at 10-4pm tomorrow...

We then went to another Subways at 1386 E. Florida Ave. in Hemet. We seen a few customers from the store we were just at and they said "They were rude to you, and they should have given you those sandwiches for free. The employees from 1386 E. store over heard us talking and asked what happened I explained to them what happened and they were all shocked that we were treated the way we were and they apologized for them…we ordered the same thing but with the Chicken Salad Sandwich plus milk for my little girl. When I paid the price was 3 dollars cheaper.

I called the next day at 10:10 and a employee picked up the phone “sounded like David P." and he said that Mary is off today and he hung up... WOW.

Thanks,

Subway does not pay employees for their hours

My daughter was shorted for $20 hours of work on her pay check. She told her boss the Store Owner about it but he refused to do anything about it stating that they do not pay over time.

Subway not sanitary

I have gone in frequently to the Circle K to make purchases for gas. I use to eat at the Subway there however have stopped. There are always several flies flying around the cut up vegetables and meat. I heard there is a fly zapper in the back however it is not doing the job. I once overheard 2 employees talking about having to throw food away due to the flies getting into the tuna and chicken salad, I suppose that I should be happy they threw it out but the thought strikes me there may be times some lazier employees did not. I also notice that several employees change gloves but do not wash there hands. They are on the register dealing with money then just slip some cheap plastic gloves on. Is this sanitary?

What the hell is your problem! What do you think they made hand washing sinks for [censored]! Do you have flies? Would you want to eat a sandwich that a fly has landed on, didn't think so. I don't give a crap what time of the year it is, they have all sorts of ways to catch flies and food is not one of them! Is that a way to deal with these flies? How do you know that everyone is disposing of it properly when the flies land it! I know what i am complaining about here! Get a clue, because i got one! So don't come on here and insult my intelligence!

Yes I agree Brenda I was addressing Mr Stealth and his advisement it does not matter. And how he called the poster uneducated based on his opionion. I wanted to make note that if it didn't matter as long as the glove is clean then why do others bother washing. Perhaps because as the original poster said it does matter.

I would like to add there is a a dude working there with the long hair and he doesn't put it up or wear a hairnet. In reading the first response I would have to say though the manner of thinking may be as long as the dude has clean hair it is ok and of course as long as his hair does not get into anything then it is ok. As for the whole glove issue. If it didn't matter if hands were clean or dirty as long as the glove was new and clean then why do doctors bother scrubbing up before putting on their gloves? Do they not know it doesn't matter as long as the change gloves? Perhaps they aren't as educated either.

Hand washing and glove use isn't an either/or type of situation. If you put on gloves with your dirty hands, the outside of the glove is contaminated and can be transferred to your food. If you wash your hands for 5 seconds with any old soap with luke warm water before handling food with your hands, it's unlikely you killed any germs.

It's a general consensus that glove usage is for 'public comfort' and to protect foreign objects from falling into food (like fingernails, dry skin, chipped nail polish). Don't ask me to google it for you, the studies are easily accessible.

The fly thing is a different story.. if it was a one time thing, I'd let it go. [censored] happens, and at least you can see it happening at Subway. Flies get in through the doors.. a small leak that occurred over night can lead to discarded food for a few days (pests bread in standing water).. but if it happens more than once in a week's worth of time, I'd avoid them. They clearly don't know how to pinpoint and eliminate pest problems.

Subway - would not accept coupon

Subway would not accept a coupon that reads buy a sub and a 32 oz. drink and get another sub of equal or lesser price free> The coupon expires 8/31/10. It doesn't say anything on the coupon about being a participating party> They said they didn't have a key on their register to accept coupon! We don't have a problem with the prices of your product as you...

Subway when can we have climate controlled platforms

When can we have climate controlled platforms. Most other cities in the world do. I know the stations and routes are old but maybe we can divert some war money to improving our infrastructure.
