Subway service

On November 4th at around 7:30 p.m. I went to the Subway in Stokesdale, NC (off of Highway-158). First, the staff were rude. Two young men were sitting at a table and saw me walk in, but neither were in any rush to get up to serve me. I was the only customer in the store. Second, one of the young men was smoking an e-cigarette at the table closest to the door. Not only was it disgusting, but frankly, it was rude and inappropriate.
This is not the only time I have had trouble at this subway. Many times I have walked in to rude and slow service. One woman, I found, does not wear gloves when she is making the bread. Very disgusting. I think this needs to be addressed.

Legally employees are not required to wear gloves when preparing food. In regards to the e-cigarette though, you may want to try contacting the store manager with your complaint.

Subway the store owner at 7317 40th st w, university place.

The store owner is awful. She doesn't care about her location. The store is filthy. There's leaks, and it's hazardous. Especially when employees work alone? What if someone was unconscious after they slipped? The store is just terrible, and the manager, Miranda, has TERRIBLE customer service and is extremely rude. Not to mention there's things going on with her and another employee... Real professional for a manager right? The store OWNER knows this and doesn't care.

Subway customer service

Hello, my name is Mariana Rodriguez.
Today (Nov.1st 2017) while visiting one of your locations (1722 Euclid Ave San Diego, CA 92105
United States) in the morning,
I got a long disgusting hair in my sandwich. I pulled it out of my mouth and i showed it to my mother, who was with me at the time. I calmly went back to the register, and finally a young man came out and I asked him to make me a new one, he went to the side and I could hear him whispering to the older woman, who had originally made my sandwich, about it. He never once said "sorry". He then proceeded to re make it, in a rush, and then just handed it to me without saying one word. The lady never came back out the back to apologize or nothing. I didn't cause a scene, I was nice about the whole thing, but it seems your employees don't know [censor] about customer service. Don't ask me for a receipt because my mother kept it, do your job and look it up on your cameras.
Good day !

Subway discrimination

I has hired from my interview 10/30/17 and on 10/31/17 I was sent in to train 2 hours on and start working after that for 8 hours. I trained for about 2 hours and within a couple of minutes the lady training me told me it wasn't going to work out because I didn't speak Spanish... first of all i was mad i told her i could learn it and she still said no! If they wanted someone who was a fluent spanish speaker they should of put it on the list of requirements on the application! Even at my interview I didn't get asked if i spoke Spanish my trainer norma said she just assumed i spoke Spanish. So they told me to go home... This is just wrong. Dont go to subway in Oakland on E. 12th street. They treated me horrible

While they certainly shouldn't have assumed you could speak Spanish, California is an at-will employment state which means they can terminate you for any reason at any time. I assume they declined your offer to learn Spanish because learning a language takes some time and they probably needed someone fluent right away. Hopefully they do a better job with other applicants.

Subway customer service

I was at the Subway inside Walmart in Wilmington Ohio. One female employee was in the back screaming an crying that she couldn't take it there anymore. The other female employee left the customers in line to go back there, and you could hear her speaking loudly. Meanwhile the customers came and left. The second female walked out and left. It seems like there is a severe management issue here.

It is awful for you to comment on the appearance of sores on her face. More likely than not it is something she cannot control. How would you feel if someone mentioned this about you? And then put it on the internet for the world to see?

Subway wraps and sandwiches prepared wrong

Tonight I had the misfortune of going to a local Subway at 13601 W McMillan Rd Boise, ID 83713. My order was completely awful the young men working in this location are not helpful or adequately trained. The order we placed was a 6 inch cold cut combo with american cheese lettuce and tomatoes, the bread was smashed instead of a cold cut received a BMT, 2 steak wraps the meat was placed at only one end of the wrap for some reason nothing like what I've gotten at many other subway locations. Very disappointed with this service and the food was the biggest disappointment.

Subway server at plano, tx 15th street store

Server at Plano, TX 15th Street store failed to place the jack cheese on after forgetting to toast. When I got the sub at home during the Dallas Cowboy game Sunday, my wife called to tell the Subway server about the missing cheese. She told my wife she had to prove it was missing by showing the sub. I had already started to eat it and did not want to interrupt the game on TV. I was astonished that we were told we must show the Sub to prove the cheese was missing. I will never buy from Subway again. My wife and I are in our 80's and felt totally disrespected by your employee.

I love to order on line however I noticed you guys are the only restaurant that won’t let me use coupons nor order and pay cash at pickup. Just a recommendation to improve customer service.
Please make changes if possible. Why send coupons in the mail if I can’t use them without paying in person? I hate that I can’t order online then pick up the subs, use the coupons, and pay cash. 5 footling subs 5 different ways would be nice to order ahead of time so they would be ready and I don’t have to wait. I was informed I am not allowed to place a take out on the phone either. People love convenience. Help!

Subway actions of subway employee

Every time I go into the Subway at Market Square Pittsburgh PA and the Subway on Penn Avenue downtown Pittsburgh, the staff has a white ear but in and are talking on their cell phone in another language. Because of this, I stopped going to Subway downtown. About four or five months later, I wanted a sandwich for breakfast, so I went to the Subway on Penn Avenue on 10/16/17 at 8:00 a.m. I stood in line while she was helping another customer and after three customers, I placed my order. At that time, she told me NO BREAD was done, all she had was flat bread, wheat and white. I asked her why she didn't let people know that was standing in line. Of course she still had the ear bud in her ear talking to someone on her cell phone. I then went to the Subway at Market Square the next day on 10/17/17. Once again, the man had his ear bud in and was talking on his cell phone in another language. He was so engrossed in conversation that he didn't even greet me so I stood there and said nothing and then he loudly asked if he could help me. I told him my order as he was talking on the phone in another language. At that time, I shook my head and said to myself, "it is a shame that you have to deal with customer service talking on the telephone." He then looked at me and said "excuse me". I repeated what I said to him. he then said that he can talk on his phone when he wants to and take care of customers. He said this with a very nasty attitude. I told him it is rude to talk on the phone while helping customers and he then snapped and said loudly that he can do what he wants. I said that he can have that sandwich and I will be contacting the Store Manager. He laughed and stated that HE IS THE STORE MANAGER. I said, well that is really a shame and that he was a disgrace to Subway stores as I was walking out. I shook my head all the way to work and told this story to friends and co-workers. It is not wonder that both of these stores are mostly empty when I walk by. Jimmy John's, Market Street Store and a few other businesses in this are have great sandwiches. I will gladly pay a few dollars more for great customer service and I will NEVER do business with anyone that is talking on their phone.

Subway store owner

I just got fired from subway for asking for more hours. I was hired full time and only receiving 19.5 hours. I asked my store owner who is also the manager why I wasn't getting the hours I was promised upon my hiring date. She replied with taking me into the office and writing me up for things another employee had done and told me to sign it. I told her I wasn't going to sign it cause those actions that we're performed wasn't my doing and it's on camera that it was done by the other employee. She fired me for not signing it. I was discriminated against by my store owner/manager. She has called me name's on more than one occasion. She even told me to take off my work shirt before I left which would've had me topless. She can not keep employees at her store because of the way she treats them, even the customers are complaining about her. The store # 4376-0 the store address is 268 Lowes Blvd Lexington North Carolina 27292.

Subway deaf discrimination

My name is Dinah Lambert. I am from the southern bayous of Louisiana. I am currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana and have been doing so for over 10 years.
Anyway, I have a local Subway near my home which is in walk and riding distance. I visit them frequently.
When going over to purchase lunch today, which by the way was a simple salad. There was only 1 person ahead of me who ordered a sandwich with a female companion. They order there sandwich and moved up the line. I told the worker I am deaf and I read lips and I need a salad please. He ask what kind of meat. I said chicken. He said one or double. I said one. Than he began to chop my salad up as my chicken was being heated up. He walked over it the veggie area. He said what veggie you want. I begin to tell him. He was looking up and down at me trying to rush, which I don't know why because no one was behind me for a while. I kept telling him what I wanted. He looked at me and begin to speak to me like I was a was a 2 year old. Really. My speech is very clear. I recently went deaf from an home invasion of a strangulation. So I just looked at him as he kept talking over me. He would not allow me to speak because he kept talking and pointing to each veggie in his hand. Finally he said just say yes or no as he began to pick up each veggie. I nearly walked out in tears as I just looked at him in such I disbelief. Finally I got my salad and grab some chips and a cup for a coke. The girl who checked me out was so nice, guess she felt sorry for me. Upon leaving people were staring at me and talking about the incident. He made me feel worst than a piece of dirt. I wrote about this on my Facebook page. And I highly meant he was totally disrespectful to me. I did not call out the local Subway on my page though. Instead I decided to contact you. I strongly feel like you should teach Subway places to respect all people including disabled people. I never though of my deafness as a major disabilities until now. I am highly disappointed in your worker but I still love your food.
Sincerely,
Dinah Marie Lambert

Subway the way the subways are being ran by certain individuals

To whom it may concern;

I am sorry to contact you on this matter but it is very disturbing to me and I actually recently worked for a couple that owned four Subways in Southern California. I am a student and wanted to work for Subway, (again because I worked for them in Idaho, and they always where able to work with me on my schedule). I was told repeatedly that I would be wrote up if the experation dates on cambros where not changed if they where going to expire the next day, I never saw sauce bottles changed, and they where keeping meatballs, tea, and soups longer that the allotted time. They where also keeping bread to reuse the following day, and was told to put a plastic bag in an old chip box and place the bread there so it could be take to other stores or reused in the current store, but the inspector wouldn’t find it. I refused to eat there when I was working and felt disgusted every time I would make a sandwich for someone not knowing if they would be getting sick from that. The owners own four Subways. One on Washington in Murrieta, CA, on Hunter Rd. In Murrieta, CA, Winchester Rd. In Murrieta, CA, by the Albertsons, as well as on Winchester Rd by the mall in Temecula, CA. Another employee contacted the Department of Health and when they came in and spoke to the manager and the owners of the store they denied all allegations. I also know of another employee that is willing to speak to whom ever they need to because what they are doing is wrong, but wishes to stay anonymous because they are still working there but actively speaking other employment. I did quit because I did not feel right following rules that could potentially harm customers. I am not letting you know out of spite, but because it is the right thing to do.

Subway subway sandwich

I had ordered a Subway footling with meatballs and marinera with extra marinera and I received only 5 meatballs and little to no marinera. I was very explicit about extra marinera. I am upset because the last time I ordered from here I received what I requested and this time I received both less meatballs and less marinera. It's not worth the price if this happens again. Unsatisfactory service

Subway foot long sub sandwich

Ordered a foot long sub, as the slerk put my foot long in the toaster overn, and went to talk about the schedule for a future store for (wednesday) rather
Mind you I was the only and last person in the line, it could have very well waited until you were down waiting on me (all of what 3 minutes) the clerk finally came back to further assist me, (that is when she advised me of her working on the schedule for the future store and how she was manager or asst manger and working at 7am) Mind you I run a company as well, for patients with Kidney failure, a little more serious than a sub shop, I just responded as I can fully understand. I was given besides a long winded explanation, ( 10%) off and a second cookie to my already cookie i was obtaining...0.30 per the receipt and 10% off my sandwhich was 0.30 cents Wow !
It was not until i got to my work office that I saw that my sandwhich was way burned from sitting in their toaster oven way way to long. I have a picture-and would love to send it- there was not an option to upload image, but would love to send it.
I would like a refund of $5.85 and a free sandwhich for next time over this incident.

Thank You

Subway service

I'm Oct 3rd at 4:00pm, I went to order three foot long subs. The girl said we ain't got no bread. All they had was a six inch left. I said well how long will it be before the bread is ready. She raised her voice to me and said I don't know when the bread will be ready ain't none cooked. I've had problems here before but never complained. This is ridiculous. At the busiest time of day they have no bread and get mad at me because they didn't have bread. The people are very rude give you chicken breast that you can't even bite into cause it's so hard and dried out. They need new management here.

Subway the free refills

First of all, let me say thank you for allowing your customers free refills on the fountain drinks and teas.

However, I thought it was for refills inside the establishment. I was taken aback when a saw a customer enter the restaurant, walked up to the drink dispenser, emptied his Subway cup of God knows what and refilled it with ice and a drink. To me, this is not sanitary. I look at it like this, I can buy a fountain beverage or tea, leave the establishment for minutes/hours/days (however long or short the timeframe) then return at my leisure and get a free refill, and spreading germs. As far as I know, the customer could have been dispense any kind of DNA. I mentioned this to a subway employee, she smiled and said, we give free refill (Note: that's nice) but don't you think this is a risk to public health?
