They made a mistake

I bought two tickets for a show for me and my wife. We were supposed to sit together, but StubHub made a mistake of some kind and as a result our seats were on different rows.
I contacted StubHub right away but they said that there was nothing they could do because all seats were taken.
Of course we went to see the show because we didn't want to miss it, but we were very disappointed and couldn't enjoy the show together.
We had very unpleasant experience with StubHub and will not deal with them again!
