Straight Talk Wireless Phone service

on July 13 bought an lg LML413DL From Walmart activated the phone everything work used phone for a week than on july 21 it was just cut off no warning. I call costumer service was no help they said the store scan it wrong so with out receipt I can do any thing. I had bought the phone in a different state of course I dnt keep the receipt for a week later. costumer service said they could not help me good by t wasted $100 on the phone and $55 on a phone card the whole account was deleted of my account . on July 23 I went to the store and bought a ZTE ZFive C Lte the Phone would not activate I call costumer service the said it will take 4 hour call back but the 4 hour time line is out side of the business hour so I cant call back n said my phone will not be activate because the close in 45 min. I been with straight for about 5 month and with no problem and now I have this.

Straight Talk Wireless Customer service

Straight talks costumer service reps are no help. I've called and asked about a number that poped up on my home screen. It was [protected];oli=62. I wanted to know what it meant. The woman I talked to couldn't speak English worth nothing and they told me nothing. They told me that it was nothing to ignore it but it happened two days in a row! How can you not ignore that. This has never happened to me before and I also called samsung about it and they was also no help. I'm probably about to change service plans. DO NOT USE STRAIGHT TALK! It sucks!

Straight Talk Wireless Straight talk unlimited service

When I have minutes on my phone I can hardly ever use the internet. I habe had this problem for over a year and when I call the customer service.
It does no good can't understand most of them and when I do get one I can understand there language. I get the BIG RUN AROUND. And it never gets fixed. I would like to sue straight talk for there theft of services.

Straight Talk Wireless Unlocking policy

i bought a straight talk iphone se at walmart on 7/11/17. the sales person said all i had to do was put my sim card in it because i already had service with straight talk. it worked fine. recently i called straight talk about having the phone unlocked and was told by a rude person they could not unlock the phone because i activated phone with wrong sim card. i don't see what difference this makes because the service has remained active. actually, i have had 2 services with straight talk for a number of years. this is a bad way to treat customers. hope things change soon

Straight Talk Wireless Transferring your number

Do NOT trust straight talk when they say you can keep your number should you choose to leave. When requesting my number be transfered, they refused to allow it to be ported. They wanted me to pay a fee to keep the number. This is an illicit deceptive way of trying to extort money. When I called to try and rectify this matter, my call was transfered to 6 different people. I was told many false statements and even had one gentlemen tell me there was no other supervisor to speak with. Umm, unless you are the one signing the checks there is always another rung above you. Without a resolution I contacted the FCC. They are very aware of this practice and had me file a formal complaint as this is an illegal. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Straight Talk Wireless Data availability on the weekends

There is little or mostly no internet availability with Straight Talk service on the weekends! Every month I have 8 days that I have little or mostly no service. I have complained to them about this and ask them to credit my account for this lost time but they do not do that! If they can't service the amount of customers they have and they need to boost their signal through the towers. It is not fair to pay full price for crappy service! Have had this service now for 4 months and the way I see it they owe me 24 days of free service! If they cannot keep up with their amount of sales they need to shut down! It does no good to save money if you're not getting service period !

Straight Talk Wireless Service involving data and false advertisement and theft by deception

I have been with straight talk since December 2017. I have been on the ultimate unlimited plan which includes unlimited high speed data and unlimited text and calls. I purchased the plan with a straight talk phone LG Stylo 3. Upon first using my phone I noticed on the scroll down menu a hotspot icon. I used it and it worked no issues. For months. Nowhere in any paperwork with the phone on the phone nor on or with the service card does it say I cannot use the hotspot not that data is capped nor to see online for further terms and conditions. After hours on the phone and being hung up on once I got through to corporate and they resumed to tell me I violated terms and conditions and was banned from high speed data. I explained calmly the entire situation. After many excuses one being my phone isn't straight talk phone when it clearly is i was told I won't get a refund because I only had two weeks left on a 30 day plan my service would not be restored. This is really wrong. If I had been told or the hotspot disabled I can understand. But stealing my hard earned service and false advertisement and deception something must be done. I'm sure millions are victims to this. My buddy even got banned on same plan same phone for using too much data. Like what?! It's an unlimited plan. How is it his fault he used what they gave? Same in my situation. It was a hotspot unlocked and provided on their phone with their service.

Straight Talk Wireless Poor company policies and customer service

I recently had my phone come up missing. Cancelled my service with a guy on the phone. He told me my service was cancelled and that I would not get a payment taken out. Low and behold I had a payment taken out and it put my bank account in the negative because i had already went out and bought a new phone and service. I asked for a refund and they refused said I didn't cancel before a payment processed. When on the phone the guy told me three times that I cancelled before a payment went out! They have terrible customer service, I have been a member for 7 years with them and they just say, 'sorry we can't refund you because it processed before you cancelled.' Maybe they should have people who know how to do there job and look at things. The first guy should have saw the payment processing and informed me it would be coming out.

Straight Talk Wireless Poor customer service-refusal to unlock phone

I am writing to you to notify you of my experience with Straightalk Wireless. I have been a loyal customer of 2 lines for over 5 years. I have referred many new customers to Straightalk. My iphone 6s broke. I bought a new one, and inserted my SIM card directly into the new phone.

I now wish to switch to AT T for service, as they are bundling my DTV and Wifi. Or so I thought. Straightalk has refused to unlock my phone due to their "terms and conditions". Per Straightalk, when I inserted my SIM card into a new phone, I did not call to register the phone. They require a 1 year use prior to unlocking the phone. I asked to speak to the manager. He stated that I have already been told what there policy was, and there was nothing more to say. He then hung up. I called again, and was told the manager was busy, and would call me back. I asked for his name. The representative stated that she could not give out that information. No call was returned.

So, because my phone broke and I bought a new one, I have no rights to it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Walmart and reported it to Apple.

So much for being a loyal customer. I couldn't imagine worse customer service.

I called the Straight Talk number for customer service that I was given by Verizon wireless, and when I asked how to file a complaint they hung up on me again.

Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their domain isn't properly registered at their domain registrar. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

Straight Talk Wireless Refill card

I accidentally bought the wrong card and called to see if I could get a credit to my simple mobile account since its all the same company. I was told no! And no refund even with my receipt. I was put on with a supposed "supervisor", that hardly spoke English. He told me that its my loss basically because I made a mistake by purchasing the wrong card. I said I was reporting it to the Better Business Bureau and his response was, go ahead.
I even said all I want is to be credited what I bought to my next bill and that was unacceptable. No refund no credit, if I want more services for my phone I can purchase them. How is this legal?

Straight Talk Wireless Smartpay leasing

I have tried 16 different times buy an iphone 8 plus though straight talk. When I try to purchase the phone, the website wants me to go to smart pay to get approved to buy the phone will no credit check for 98 dollars a month. When I fill out the application, I get denied every time because the email says that I did not provide enough information to be approved. I followed the directions and reviewed my application sixteen different times and every single time all of my information was valid and correct. I called four different customer service reps and they call repeated the same exact thing I was supposed to do 3 times over the phone and they still couldn't help me. When I asked to talk to the supervisor, she told me the exact same thing everyone else over the phone had told me 2 hours before. Literally all I want to do is build my credit by buying one of your phones and your payment company won't even help me with this problem. I have had straight talk for over a year now and have always been loyal and satisfied with everything until I tried to go through this company to buy a new phone. I am extremely frustrated with straight talk right now and am considering different phone companies.

I am absolutely disappointed with straight talk. I have had my account for a year and have never had a problem until I tried to use the lease to own offer. I spent two days trying to buy a phone through the smart pay company with straight talk and I received no help. Every time I asked why I wasn't able to buy a phone they didn't give me an answer. Finally I got an answer and I was told to go to casper, wyoming to the straight talk center at walmart. I live 4 hours from casper and it is ridiculous to have to drive that far. I called the walmart is casper and the straight talk rep told me that smart pay does not offer the lease to own program in wyoming and a few other states. I have told very many people about this problem. If you advertise this offer then why are these certain states unable to have this offer? I will be cancelling my straight talk account. I shouldn't be denied buying a new phone and paying this company money when you can't even let me buy a new phone through straight talk. I do not recommend straight talk to anyone anymore. Fix your [censored] straight talk. If you have an amazing offer like your lease to own program, then offer it in all states.

Straight Talk Wireless Data deprioritization

Ok. I've been with straight talk for about 6 weeks on the so-called "truly unlimited" plan. About half the time, mainly on weekends and evenings, my high-speed data suddenly slows all the way down to turtle speed data. I mean, I know about network deprioritization and all, but why must we get punished for using the data like you all advertise it can be used as. I paid for unlimited data, not unlimited data so long as you don't use too much or we'll slow you way down. You guys need to get y'all's [censored] straight. Either get it right, change the advertisements, or i'm suing y'all for a full refund of what I paid this far. It's y'all's fault, not mine. Misleading, not staffing the right personnel, basically stealing money right from under our noses

Straight Talk Wireless Unauthorized charges on my account.

For the last ten months there has been a extra $49.00 charge on my account totaling 492.00! The company was made aware of this problem after the first month and told me it was taken care of! They refuse to refund me the money and will not stop the charging the because I don't know who the charge is for! So I canceled the card and reported the them for fraud. Also looking at taking legal action now.

Straight Talk Wireless Voice mail

Two times in two months my Straight Talk settings were erased. Today, 5-11-18, I could not after three of four tries even change my language back to English like it was before Straight Talk techs or customer service, because I did nothing to change it, canceled my earlier settings. I followed the prompt that said "enter 1 for English" and received a message that I had entered an "invalid" number or choice. I repeated the process several times with the same results. Then the prompt (automated voice) said I was being connected to customer service. Then the automated voice said it was a disconnected or unworking number. Next I called the number on my Straight Talk Minute card which I had saved from a a couple of weeks ago when added my minutes. I spoke to someone in technology for a minute or two and then they were connecting me to someone else and the card was dropped. Then I went online at StraightTalk.com. They told me to enter *22890. I did (like I had two times before and it would say "activation" successful and then I turned off the phone and made a call to a friend and had her to call me back on my cell phone and leave a message. The first time it did not work, but the second did. To people on chat dropped by chat conversation while I was typing. No one could tell me why my settings are disappearing and no one has called me to answer my question about why the problem is occurring. Your customer service knows no more than I do. I tried to text Straight Talk at 611-611 and replied with the word that they told me each time. Still got the run around to text back Accept that I would accept data rates and I did. After that I got another vague reply telling me to text USAGE and I did. Then I got a a reply to type Accept. I had already done that earlier, so I did not. Is the problem with my Samsung flip phone which I purchased in Aug. 2014 or your service or some new rule you are not telling me? If it is Str. Talk personnel, you should text your customers about any new service policy you have. I expect an answer or I will be notifying the BBB, but I will wait until Monday. My cell ph. no. is [protected]. Straight Talk Wireless Samsung galaxy 7

I purchased a warranty when I activated my phone. I was told it covered accidents. I have never damaged a phone before but better safe than sorry. Well i dropped my phone by accident and the screen broke. I called and was told that my phone only had the basic warranty. I asked why would I purchase a warranty when the phone already has a one year warranty. I purchased the additional warranty for just such events. I want my phone replaced. I feel that being told that it would cover accidents when I activated my plan and now I find out that is not the case is DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY PRACTICES. NECAUSE YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY CHEATING AND MISLEADING CUSTOMERS! ALL I AM ASKING IS THAT YOU REPLACE MY PHONE. I HAVE BEEN WITH STRAIGHT TALK FOR ALMOST A DECADE! YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE EMPLOYEE JERRY THAT I SPOKE TO WAS VERY RUDE AND ACTED LIKE I DELIBERATELY DROPPED MY PHONE. HE ADVISED ME THAT CALLING ANYONE ABOVE HIM WOULD ONLY GIVE ME THE SAME ANSWER. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED . HE WAS CONDENSENDING AND DEMEANING. I RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT YOU PLEASE REPLACE MY $80 PHONE. IF I DO NOT GET A RESPONSE OR REPLACEMENT THEN I WILL BE FORCED TO TURN TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND PISSIBLT LOOK INTO A LAWSUIT FOR THE DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY ACTIONS OF YOUR COMANY.

Straight Talk Wireless Not honoring advertised promotion

On 4/29/18 I needed to refill my 30 day unlimited service with Straight talk via the App on my phone.

It was advertised that by enrolling in Auto-pay with my credit card there would be a $0 cost for the 30 day plan.

I enrolled, and submitted my information.

The following day my credit card was charged $49.38 for the 30 day service plan.

I spoke with 3 separate "supervisors" from the help line [protected].
I was told by all 3 that they could not find the promotion or advertisement and there was nothing they could do. I attempted in each conversation to obtain an email address I could send my photos ( attached ) as proof, but was told it was not possible.

I then went to my local Walmart and was told to call the help line.

Attached are 4 photos. The advertisement, my selection of the deal, confirmation of my enrollment in auto-pay, and the charge to my credit card.

Straight Talk Wireless Unlock my phone

My complaint is simple I had straight talk for way to long and qualified for my phone to be used with another company, but I wasn't aware of that I switched to boost mobile and even paid straight talk to keep my phone number but was never told that my phone was unlocked and I could have used it with any service that I wanted and after I found out that my phone wa compatible with boost mobile I thought oh I won swap phones and use my iPhone with boost that's when I found out my do calledgrace period had expired so I had to use straight talk for another there is no way Iam going to switch back to straight talk for another year for more crappy service at ridiculous prices, I simply want my phone unlocked so I can use it after all the hassle you ha e put me through I at the very least deserve that much !

So bad this is the worst of them all Please Please do not use this Straight Talk ever. Take it from me these people can not speak English at all and it seems this is all this company want to use I called them all the men and women all APHASIA totally they have no ability to even be trying to speak English words at all. On 3/318 cell number was [protected] I called wanting information I had been using this little cell phone system for a while when I first called it was a man that I spoke to I asked my question and he said lets transfer you over to a Rep this no mannered oriental speaking women answered the phone "she said what are you calling me for I told her that I wanted some information because I was thinking of changing over to senior citizen cheaper plan for my self I still have 997 min left on the minutes for this number and man she got really hostile she started talking and became loud and hard to me I was at the hospital with a sick friend he and the nurse both could here her the TV was on he cut the TV done to make sure he was hearing what was being said to me from the oriental REP for this cell phone she got really mad at and then she told me" well I going to show you something since you want to switch over to another cell user carrier The witch just cut my cell phone system off on the 3/3/18 day for me just calling and asking a question all I wanted was free information my cell was still good up the 3/23/18 with 997 minutes left in time. And there I was for a week without a use a cell phone to call out. Then I used my friend phone on 3/4/18 to recall them again this time it was a none English bad English man he was just a bad he flat out lied told me I had my phone cut off on 3/2/18 and that I wished or asked for it to be cut off... I informed he that he was not telling the truth it was a lie I never stated that he then went on and on lying to me I had him or speaker phone just like I had her on speaker on the 3/3/18 day I had 2 witness to here them both.
He just kept insisting that I requested this action I informed him why would I do that I would not like to be without means of any type or usage of communication at since I was staying with a sick friend. He then told me that I would need a new SIM card to reactivate my cell again and he has ordered me on this date 3/4/18 it would take a week to get to my home address and I ask what was I to do without my cell phone he told me to go and use my neighbors phone I explained to him I have no close neighbors at all that I live alone in the country woods. He laugh that was funny.. So had to wait it the new SIM came on 3/9/18 Friday I tried to call and have my cell reactivated again with Straight Talk no so luck at all it would not work the new SIM card did not work it came from Cooper General 8501 NW 17th St. Doral Fl. 33126 was the address the new SIM failed so again weeks went by 2nd week I am still without service of a cell phone I filed a complaint with the BBB and with Walmart head office with the Straight Talk head office in Fla also to my surprise they answered me back and so did the BBB the later nothing really happen the lady at Straight Talk says that she got me a deal she connected with straight talk and got me a 30 day deal and 1500 min she told a lie to BBB and they believed her she lied she had the wrong SIM card numbers listed in her communication email to me and she had changed my cell phone numbers to another cell number this was not what I had requested in the settlement offer at she just took it upon herself to do this with the wrong information listed the phone still did not work I informed BBB about this action and they did nothing at all stating I did not except the option given or made to when the lady at Straight Talk stated she would close the case down on 4/13/18 and on 4/26/18 I got a text stating they to was closing the case as Answered boy what help are they when you complaint against a bad a very bad company from people that can't speak English very well can speak out against you when we are keeping them in business by purchasing there old minutes card and buying there old cell phones we are keeping them alive here in America and so is Walmart by letting them sale the use-less products here in America to us. This really bothers me a lot When someone gets angry with me because I wanted to switch over to a better deal for me the deal was to help myself out to be able to live with my income on a cheaper deal that for a senior citizen living here in America, a retired civil worker and viet nam veteran that served in the Women Army Corp. For America Freedom rights and to have some just out right be little me for no reason. I believe it is my free right to change or switch if I want to better man myself. Don't You?

got a email today that the BBB went alone with them to close and drop the complaint against Straight Talk Corp believe someday this company will get it's big payback and be removed washed away and take those that can't speak English with them..

Straight Talk Wireless Phone smartpay lease

I ordered a phone through Straight Talk using their Smart Pay. I've had the phone since November 2017, and was purchasing my own service plans at store. I've been paying $100.73 for the phone since November. But all of sudden for the past 3 months, their Smartpay has started taking money from my account for a service plan that I already have, but not adding the plan to my phone... which will make me have to go to the store every month to buy service because my phone gets turned off. I've called for the past 2 months and telling them that I'm not receiving my service but they saying it was added to a number that is not mine.
