StoneDine Crack

Dear Stnedine
I purchased a set of your Stonedine saucepans & Fry-pans about 2 years ago if my memory serves me right, I have been satisfied in the time I have had themLast night I noticed a crack in the bottom of the smallest saucepan, all other saucepans have not been used as we are 80 years of age, when I scratched the area with my finger nail it gets caught in the crack, there is a definate crack n the inside although the pan has never been stood on a cold surface or had cold water poured in before it gets cold the saucepan & fry pans have always been used as instructeI have taken a photo of the V shaped crack in the saucspan but unless I can be offered an E-mail address I am unale to send it by attachmet I am Deaf & cannot use a phone

StoneDine Crappy pots and pans

StoneDine is a highly inferior product. The cheap coating started coming off in less than two years. I cleaned them gently and only used wood or plastic utensils. Still, the coating came and is coming off. I use them every day. I think it is all hype and a lie. Very disappointing. A bad deal at any price. Oh, but the non-stick part is true (while the coating lasts which is not long). Also, cheaply put together. I always have eith lose handles or loose knobs on the glass covers.

Two years ago i bought a set of there pots and pans. Recently a pot and one pan went bad, and need replaceing. I have been trying to send them back, but no one will tell me how to or where to send them. I would hate to throw them in the garbage because they are the best pans i have ever used. I just would like them replaced.

[protected] is the phone number BUT they have a list of reasons that the items will not be replaced AND you need to return them to the distributor that you purchased them from. All the info below is from the manufacturers web page...Good Luck

The StoneDine distributor will repair or replace, at their discretion, any item found to be defective, to the original purchaser. The decision whether an item is considered defective under this warranty rests solely with the StoneDine distributor.
The StoneDine 12-year guarantee is NOT a money-back guarantee.
This guarantee does not apply if the care and maintenance instructions published in our literature have not been followed, or if the product has been used for other than its intended purpose.
Incidental and consequential damages are expressly excluded from this guarantee.
The guarantee shall be void and of no force and effect if the StoneDine cookware is damaged as the result of misuse, negligence, and accidents; is employed for commercial use, improper use of the cookware or overheating of the cookware is not protected by this guarantee.
This guarantee is void and of no force and effect as to scratches, stains, discolouration, minor imperfections and slight colour variations which do not impair the functional use of the cookware.

StoneDine Poor Quality -Fake

I purchased the StoneDine cookware set from Magnet Mart – Canberra . First few days it was good, but after a about a week, it started sticking everything. Spoke to StoneDine on-line teams, really frustrating response. What they said was go shop where I purchased it and sorted out with them. It is really fake product and doesn’t look like as how they show in TV. I would say better to use $10 pan from Coles or Aldi, rather than going for a product like Stonedine. Please pass this message to every one … Pls don’t waste your money for this.

egg sunny side up - bottom sticks like glue. presenters on australian tv infomercials show a fried egg skating around on the stonedine pan. my ###! after trying the same trick at home (at medium heat), had to scrape it off. if not for the dribbly, as yet uncooked yolk, could have held the pan upside down with the egg clinging to the surface.
other foods behave better. but certainly not as well as on the infomercials that claim to show representations of consumer expectations, rather than idealised examples.

Well, after reading a few comments/complaints, I sure won't be wasting my time nor money on what I already figured was a scam. I do research when I see any of these advertisements and have found that the ones who refuse to give full pricing information and have a male who almost screams like that one dude that passed away, they are scam companies. I will stick to buying up the non-stick pans I've already been buying up in preparation to the ban on Teflon skillets/cookware and use the 1 stainless steel pan I have (I cannot lift cast iron and today's cast iron skillets are crappy in comparison to the old fashioned ones from 50 years ago). There's nothing wrong with using the Teflon coated skillets if people use common sense when using them (of course the greater majority of the population does not have any common sense). I WON'T BE TAKEN IN BY ANY SCAM COMPANIES LIKE STONEDINE APPEARS TO BE.

I have had my Stonedine 11" skillet for three years now. It is the most used pan that I have. I have yet to have any cuts or grooves in the surface, after washing either by hand or in the dishwasher, I follow the handling directions and put a very light coat of oil on the surface then wipe it out before storing the pan. I never got scammed on price because I took the time to look it up on E-bay (which turned out to be 75% cheaper than buying direct from marketer...STUPID!) I can see that the only reason people are not happy with this product, is because they got taken in by the marketer, and/or do not read care directions for the pan's, i.e. using metal spatulas, when it say's to use wood or nylon coated utensils... HELLO! Think of it this way, would you go to a car dealership to change a brake light and pay $75.00 or would you rather go to Wal-Mart and spent $5.00 for the brake light and a screw driver and change it yourself. GO FIGURE!

StoneDine Stonedine pots and pans

Product was very good to start off with but after several weeks of use lost its non stick propertiies even though it was reseasoned.. The bottom of the pan became black. My friend also bought a set of pans from Stone dine and they went the same way. The pots which you only use water in are fine, but the main pan used for cooking eggs etc where you don't use anything can't handle it. The old cast iron pan cooks better than it does. We are very disappointed in this product.

I purchased the StoneDine cookware. At first I was extremely satisfied. However, in using the cookware in my everyday cooking, I began noticing that the coating inside the cookware started to fade off. I used plastic or wooden utitensils in order to have them last as long as possible. I began noticing that the cooking was not evenly distributed and most of...
