Steves & Sons home depot service-exterior patio door

I'm a disabled veteran living in the hurricane recovery area of Atlantic Beach, NC.
I have spent quite a bit of money in damage. I wanted to order your patio door with dog door, and working with Home Depot in the past, I knew I couldn't get a 10% veteran discount without going into the store. When I was physically in the store the Home Depot said they don't give it on custom orders they place online. I drove over an hour to get to the store in Jacksonville NC. I called their customer service line, and they said if that's the stores policy, I can't do anything for you. Ironically, she also said, well, Home Depot has diverted that 10% to help disabled veterans in the recovery areas. Really?!
I just want you to know and understand who you're in business with. Lowe's has never treated me this kind of disregard. That's where my business will stay. Regrettably, I can't by your product and it was the door I had been searching for. Very upsetting but Lowe's said they would work with me in seeing if they could find something similar.

Steves & Sons customer service and quality of product

Terrible! Ordered a$1500 door and was delighted when it came in a week early. Unfortunately it came with a defect. After search the internet for a contact number (they do not post a number on their web page even though they have a customer service number) After almost 2 weeks sending pics to them, I had enough- they finally transferred me to the king of BS Maurio. He was so sorry, would take care of the issue etc etc- sent me a replacement part (from Mexico) and would arrange a tech to come out and fix the door----- 3 weeks later still nothing. Great having a $1500 door in your garage for 5 weeks. I finally got back hold of Mr. BS who gave us a string of excuses, which I did NOT accept. Told me I could either wait or return the "Damn" door. I returned the "damn" door . Even left a message with a Floyd or Loyd (Customer service said he was an owner) but to no ones surprise he did not have the guts to call me back.

Steves & Sons front door

I purchased front door couple of years ago and the door has begun to weather one year after having it. It's now 3 years old and has weathered terribly. The door has splitting wood lost its color and condensation built up between the glass. I spent $1, 000 on the door from Home Depot and could not be more disappointed. Also the door is located under a porch with a 9ft overhang. It has never been touched by any sort of precipitation.

Steves & Sons Custom door and other service related items - poor service

I am currently in the later stages of a complete kitchen remodel. At the beginning of this project I went into store number 6547 and asked a sales person to put a price together for GE profile refrigerator, microwave, range, and dishwasher. I was prepared to spend up to $7000.00. I never got a call back and ended up purchasing the appliances else where. On 10/13/15 I went to the same store to purchase a speciality interior door. I paid $246.00 at the time of the order and was told it would take two weeks to come in. After more then three weeks I called and spoke to a department manager. She informed me that the sale person ment 14 business days. I informed her that it had been 14 business days already. The manager informed me that the door might be in this weekend, but since it's midday on Saturday I don't think that's gonna happen. The "Special Services Customer Invoice" sheet (number [protected]) provides an estimated arrival date of 10/27/15, two weeks from the date or my order/purchase. This make me think that the manager was handing me a load of bull. The workers that were going to install that door are off on another project now. The completion of my project has been delayed until that door comes in, or I go else where to purchase another door. I spend a lot of money with Home Depot. You can probably pull up my account and check it. I will not be doing business with any Home Depot store from this point forward. I also will not hesitate to let others know about my experience's with Home Depot. This is not the first project that has been held up by HD but it will surly be the last. Al Damiani
