Steak 'n Shake drive through in pooler georgia

I want to the drive through Thursday, October 4 at 8 PM. Ordered a prime burger meal with a large sweet tea and no onions. Waited in the drive-through line for 30 minutes and received a small Tea And a prime Burger covered in onions. I am a Gulstream Employee and did not receive my discount. The guy running the drive-through just sound like he hated life. This is a terrible experience at this restaurant and not one thing went right

Steak 'n Shake manager

My girlfriend and i came to steak n shale for dinner and we had our newborn baby with us. He started to cry and the manager made the server ask of we wanted a to go box and less than two minutes later the manager herself brought us the check without even bothering to ask if we were done. I had to tell her we wanted to order more. Very unprofessional and made us feel like unwanted customers.

Steak 'n Shake burger and service

I went to steak n shake and ordered the Wisconsin butter and my daughter ordered the mac n cheese. I've attached a photo of the burger that I was provided. On top of horrible service and an extended waiting time ( although the restaurant was not busy), we had a very bad experience. At the end of our visit I was left waiting at the check out counter for 10 minutes..our server came up and started ringing us up...then said hold on a minute and never came back.

Steak 'n Shake service and food

The steak shake at 1460 South Park St in Carrollton Ga needs some intervention. The server was trying her best but the problem was the people in the back were so unorganized she couldn't even get dressing or salads without waiting on the the back workers. We waited about 10 minutes in our seat with no waitress then we asked for a waitress. The food took about 30 minutes and we were unable to get our salads first as most appetizers are served. Then we couldn't get dressing or dipping sauce until our food was almost eaten. The chicken tenders were cold when they arrived. Ther needs to be better communication between the front and the back. Waitresses can't make money if the cooks are screwing everything up. Maybe you should pay waitresses more to make up for the incompetence of the kitchen. This isn't the first time we have had a bad experience at steak n shake

Steak 'n Shake daytona beach store at nova and international speedway blvd.

While having lunch at the counter, I noticed a customer get up from the counter and pour himself a cup of coffee from the coffee pot at the serving station. When I paid for my meal, I brought the issue to the attention of one of your employee's. She proceeded to tell me he has been coming in for years and always does that. She continued to defend him for his actions. This is a violation of health codes in Volusia County. The man smelled like he hadn't had a bath in days.

I will now take my business to Five Guys, which is once or twice per week.

Steak 'n Shake my food.

On October 3, 2018, I order at steak n shake a double steak cheeseburger meal, a doublesteak cheeseburge (entree), and Chicken tenders (entree). As I opened up one of the burgers to take the tomato off, i saw a dead bug on the tomato. I would like my money back, that was really disturbing.

Steak 'n Shake customer service

Usually the food is good... when you get it. It is on regular on a normal night between 30 and 60 minutes.

The store in Warsaw, Indiana is notoriously an hour to eat, no matter how busy or slow. How ever staff is friendly.

My most recent visit to the store in 6019 Illinois Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 was horrable. We were seated in a resonable amount of time, but once we were seated we were never greeted by a server, although passed several times (at least 3 times by each server 3 servers on staff). We waited at least 5 to 10 minutes with no one noticing the menues down and wondering looks to each server that walked by, we tried to wave one down. Unfortunately that didn't work ether. So we got up and left. I did tell the a staff member before we left with an angry husband behind me. We called a little later to let them rectify the situation, we were told the manager was to busy and would need to call us back. We gave the staff member the comments we wished to convay, with no want for a call as my husband was livid by then.

My husband is still angry that he called me stupid for choosing this restaurant. He blamed everything on me and he started slapping me and hitting me. Now i have a black eye because of how angry they made him.

Let me start by saying that steak 'n shake is my favorite fast food restaurant. I has always been great food and service, until now. It was our large table of 8, which it took me two times to point out to the waitress that there were only 6 chairs, and one other table of 6 in the building. The order was 1 grilled chicken salad, 1 foot long hot dog, 2 Wisconsin buttery burger w/fries, 1 black truffel burger w/fries, chicken strip w/fries, 1 double bacon burger w/fires, and 1 kids grilled cheese. 4 waters, 2 dr. pepper, 2 root beer. It took 45 minutes to get the food. All the burgers were dry and hard, one burger there were 3 hairs found in, the fries cold and hard like they had been sitting for awhile, I had to ask the waitress 3 times for silverware and napkins. Nobody came back to refill the drinks AT ALL. In total we spent 44.17 on hard over cooked and cold food. I attempted to speak to the waitress and all she said was sorry and that was it. I mean really only 2 tables in the restaurant had customers and this is the service and food that Steak 'n Shake wants to be known for?

Steak 'n Shake cleanliness

Me and my husband went to the steak and shake in round rock across from heb when we got in and ordered our drinks I had a water brought to me with a nat (small bug) floating on top I told a waitress and she brought another water with food floating in the bottom I did not complain to the waitress the second time because the employees were extremely polite but their were a lot of nats flying around the tables and the ice had nats in them I believe the store needs to be sprayed for their bug issue and need to clean their cups out better to resolve floating objects in drinks on our way home my husband was drinking a milkshake we had purchased as we were leaving after we had drank half of it he found a nat in his mouth we were extremely upset and disgusted we usually extreamly enjoy the food from here but after this visit I'm not sure we will be able to stomach the idea of drinking anything from this establishment

Steak 'n Shake mopping floors

While my mom and I were finishing our meal, a worker mopped around the cash register and bar stool area. causing a very slick floor. Mopping while people are eating should not be done. And it created a dangerous floor to walk on. A little girl slipped on the floor, even though she was trying to be careful.

What about the elderly? Anyone for that matter.

Reconsider the policy to only mop if there is a spill. Or find another method that will not make for a dangerous floor afterwards.

Steak 'n Shake hepatitis a outbreak! lansing mi. edgewood blvd.

I am writing cause my husband and I are two of the people that was victims of the Hepititis . We stopped at the Steak & Shake on Edgewood Blvd in lansing on Sept 14th to eat, and found out 6 days later on the news, and on facebook that one of the food service workers had it and anyone that ate there within that time frame should get the Hep A vaccine. My husband and I both were horrified.. we both have comprimising immune systems and it as late Friday night when we found out about it. First thing on Saturday we started calling around to the pharmlacies to see if any one had it.. Most were already out of it. We finally found one and they said we should hurry cause they were just about out also. What a shock we had when we got there.. we found out our insurance didn't cover it and it cost $130.00 each! we both are on Medicare! We had to do it so it took what we had for bills to pay for them. We are on a budget. What is Steak & Shake doing about this? I know its and unforunate fate but still, its hard on us on a budget to get this! I know one thing..we will never dine there again.

Steak 'n Shake service

We sat there for literally 25 minutes at midnight with 2 tables in the whole place and asked someone to come to our table and sat there for 10 more minutes and then we left lmao...wtf? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to great your table within the first 2 minutes. Maybe some coupons or our gas money back that we used to drive from muscatine :) I just wanted a Chrispy chicken... :(

Steak 'n Shake cleanliness or lack of

My husband and myself eat at the steak n Shake in Fairborn OH fairly often - mostly for breakfast as we did this morning. place is filthy! The partitions in between the booths are loaded with fingerprints and smudges and look like they haven't been cleaned in years. We were seated this morning in view of the grilling area and it was black all down the front of it from what I assumed was old grease. The tile floor was cracked and had big black marks all over it. Steak n Shake food is usually pretty tasty at a very good price. The service is friendly and quick. But if this restaurant isn't thoroughly cleaned, we will not be able to continue eating there.

Steak 'n Shake manager tobias

I was new to the store and was scheduled to work a afternoon shift and I called the store at 9:30am to see if I can get put on a morning schedule I called I asked for a manager and he let a employee answer the phone before I can even ask he was like tell her we dont need her today so I was like is he sure she said yes so I hung up around 12:00pm he called me back yelling in the phone about I did a no call no show by this time my bsby was took to the hospital so I said to him I'm in the hospital now with my baby and I can't make it so he was like bring a note n hung up in my face I left it alone been I was dealing with my baby been in the hospital so after I got out the hospital on my way home I stop by to bring him the note and he start yell ion need no note just kick rocks and take your note with you and I felt it was imperfection how it was handle

Steak 'n Shake employee service in joplin, mo

About 3/4 through my soda I realized there was a small bug on the ice. I wasn't angry (I've worked in a restaurant and it happens) but looked for our waitress and when I finally located her bringing our food out told her there was a bug in my drink and I'd like a new one. She angrily looked at it like I was lying then without apology or anything took it and came back with a new one. As she was coming back I realized they put mayo on my chicken sandwich and I was annoyed because we needed to get going and it had taken a long time to get our food so I didn't have time for them to make a new one. I tried wiping it off just to eat it and didn't even mention it to the waitress. She saw me trying to get it off and laughed which I found extremely rude. Then after checking on another table walked by me and loudly said "well at least everyone else is happy", laughed and clapped her hands by my head. I still did not complain because I didn't want to start anything with her and just wanted to get out of there. I believe she needs to be reprimanded and that store needs to better train employees to treat costumers with respect. I will absolutely NOT be returning to steak and shake in Joplin and will reconsider even eating that the ones in Springfield, MO where I live. It made me angry and hurt that she couldn't politely take care of the issue and show me respect when I had done nothing to deserve her attitude or rude comments. I would appreciate someone looking into this and would greatly appreciate an apology! Her name on the ticket said Christy S and we ate there around 1:00 on 9/29/18. The # on our receipt was 3503503. Thank you for your time. I don't typically send complaints but this seemed very over the top and disrespectful.

Steak 'n Shake overall experience & service

My fiancé and I came into the First Capitol location on Friday evening around 9:40pm. We were not greeted at the door and waited patiently at the "wait to be seated" sign. We were finally approached by the waitress who before she even greeted us said, "I'm the only server so you're like 4th in line". We agreed to be seated anyway and waited for our food. A few more people came in to eat the waitress began to turn people away, telling them she was too overwhelmed and the dining room was closed. They locked the doors and posted handwritten signs on the doors. We watched them turn customer after customer after customer away. We finally got our food and it was cold and burnt. I'm so disappointed in Steak ‘n Shake and the service and poor quality of food that they believe is okay to provide for paying customers. We will NEVER be eating at this Steak ‘n Shake again or any other one not only we were treated but also for the way every other customer that attempted to walk in the door that night. EXTREMELY disappointing and we will be sure to spread the word in our community.

Steak 'n Shake wait service and kitchen help

After we were seated it took 20 minutes before the waitress can over She took our order and then it took another 25 minutes to get our food Then the order was not right. there was about 20 people in restaurant. 6 at our table Then it took forever to get our bill and of course it wasn't right the others sitting at our table had the same problems. The restaurant wasn't that busy they only had two waitresses and two cooks and apparently a manager on duty. No one seemed to understand what they doing

Steak 'n Shake hepatitis a lansing michigan location

We visited the the south Lansing store on September 14th I found out today via the news that there is a Hepatitis A outbreak at that store and anyone who visited the store in the last 30 days needs to get vaccinated immediately. My wife and I went to the local Rite Aid had the vaccinations only to find out that Medicare does not cover this shot...Therefore it cost me $ 187.26 I can provide receipts as well as my visa statement to confirm the date that we were there. How are you going to proceed to reimburse me?

Steak 'n Shake quality of cleanliness

I visited the Steak n Shake at 5828 S. Lindbergh in St. Louis, Missouri at a
1:15 p.m. on 09/29/18. I was really shocked at how filthy this restaurant was. My table had not been cleaned before I sat down. The dishes had been removed but it wasn't wiped down.I never told my waitress to clean it and she didnt even notice. I looked around and noticed a lot of uncleaniness in this restaurant. The black walls next to the booths were horrible. The counter when I went to pay was so dirty and the floor was so sticky and dirty. I love Steak n Shake and usually frequent the one in Arnold, which is always neat and clean. Just thought you might want to know.

Steak 'n Shake ordering of food products and service

Date ;09-28-2018 approximately time of service 0415 pm, location ; New Castle, Indiana 47362...We arrived to place our order through drive thru, we ordered a $ $4.00 values meals two of them, we ordered a DBL with cheese & fries and everything on it same goes for the Triple order with the exception of no cheese, we pulled off to the side and found the order was incorrect there was nothing but meat patties and buns on both the fries were old and stale and darken brown and hard they would crumble between your fingers, So i went back in and asked for the Mrg in charge and asked her would you be acceptable of eating this yourself i explained to her i used to be a dresser @ the new castle location and this was unacceptable even i wouldn't feed this to my dogs ...The line wasn't busy other then drive thru there was approximately 10-15 ppl inside dining, she said she would personally make the sandwiches her self, approximately 15 mins later the sandwiches came out but no fries, once again i had to re explain to the atm the grill cook their was to be large fries to this order two of em he brought only one and left me standing there and wouldn't make eye contact with me or acknowledge to me that maybe the other fries were coming and wait period for a order of fries to complete the order, the Mrg said she would remake the order for free and not charge me again for it, why should i be charged again for their mistake, she advise me that a prep person put the order together and i advised her it was the dressers job to dress the sandwiches correctly to the order and not a prep person job and i advised her once again i was a dresser at the location for two yrs so i know steak and shakes policy, after all said and done the fries were unsalted overcooked and 35 mins later, the sandwiches were dry with little or no condiments on them, this meal should have been free because thats your policy, i will not return to the new castle location
