State Farm callous & uncaring

I was hit at a stop sign on a country road. The driver smacked into me and totaled my car. When we exchanged info I realized that we both had State Farm...Now after almost 3 years State Farm has not paid off my claim. And has scheduled to go to court on 0909. They have been callous & uncaring and told me their policy is to stand behind the offending driver not the victim. Why should they hurry, They are not going to work hard against their own company. There should be a law if both parties in an accident have the same agent. The victim should be able to have a temporary policy with the agent of their choice so the victim would be treated fairly. It would save a lot of grief.

State Farm has always been about the policy holder. - Untrue statement.

I was re-ended by a state Farm insured person. My ABS stop functioning! $2400.00 fix. State Farm refuses to cover it claiming "we cannot prove/connect the failure of the ABS with the accident."

Lovely, just fricken lovely.

I have worked for several State Farm agents and have handled many claims in which both people were with State Farm. If the policy holder that hit you caused several thousands of dollars worth of damage to your car and if you had Personal Injury as well as Collision damage the claim could be well over the worth of your car. State Farm does not spend time and money on pointless claims.

Payment of claims has nothing to do with the agent you have. No matter what agent if the policy holder has an agent in a certain area thousands of claims go to the same claims office. Agents do not handle claims. The agents and team members are there to protect the policy holder from devastation. The staff in your agents office know as much as you do until they call someone. We only turned in the claims.

Call your agent, ask for your claim rep's number. They will give the number to you and the claim rep should catch you up on everything.

You can always change agents whenever you want. State Farm has always been about the policy holder. You will always hear complaints about State Farm from people who wont dish the whole story and/ or refuse to call the agent and ask why a particular situation is going on.

Be pround you have one of the strongest legal teams in the United States fighting on your behalf to get your claim paid. State Farm isn't fighting itself it sound like they are taking the other policholder to court on behalf of your claim.

Accidents are very emotional and stressful but sit tight State Farm takes care of their policy holders and your agent should be able to take you through everything step by step.

State Farm - state farm will not cover my sewer pipe break

I am writing this in the hopes that someone out there could help me, or lead me in the right direction. I recently found out I had a Sewer Pipe Break under my house. We had an adjuster come out and did the whole 9 yeards. In order for it to be fixed, a plumber would need to break up my recroom floor (the pipe is under the cement slab), bathroom tile floor...

State Farm - negligence and unprofessionalism

On 3/23/08 a theft occurred. My 2002 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from my residence 1401 Santo Antonio Dr.Colton, CA 92324. I immediately contacted the police department, filed a police report: case#[protected]. I proceeded to contact my insurance, State Farm. A claim representative took the facts down and assigned my claim to Jan Guirgis in which she contacted me...

State Farm - will not pay claims

Like others I have had State Farm refuse to cover losses. I had insurance with them for more than five years. Auto, Home, Life insurance in all 8 policies. I had hail damage and reported it. First they assigned an adjuster in the wrong area and had to start over. Then I get an adjuster who said I had no damage other than three singles damaged. (more single...

State Farm they canceled a retired agent and sent a form letter

I've been a State Farm Client for 50 years without break. I was a State Farm employee for 5 years then a State Farm agent for 29 years. State Farm has announced they are cancelling my condo policy and sent me an impersonal form letter with many mistakes in it. Most of my fellow retired State Farm associates have dropped State Farm for better companies. I was always pro-State Farm, but find they are too Rusted (president is Ed Rust Jr, who couldn't hold his father's pants up) for business. They have done most everything they could to irritate clients, screw the public and raise premiums. I am totally disgusted with State Farm, my former high mark company.

When you purchase a policy, you are setting up a contract for the company to insure you. The reason that a payment MUST be taken, even before the policy is underwritten, is because as of that moment, you are insured. Once an agent BINDS coverage, that's it. If you made a mistake and set up insurance, while staying with your current company, then that falls on you. An insurance company can't give you free insurance while you make up your mind. Next time, make sure you make an informed decision.
Now, to correct the issue. You should have been able to show State Farm proof of insurance, so that they could have given you a full refund once the policy was issued.

I have had State Farm Insurance for over 30 years! I am firing them. They are so disorganized they can not answer the phone, or answer a question! I am not referring to the agents I am referring to the damn claims departments that are hundreds of miles away. I am certain that not one person in that place is EVER held accountable for their work. On top of that the same "central" location will mail out 10 letters to you on the same day and they swear they are a "green" company. Puhleeze!

I thought they were a good company also, UNTIL they cancelled my policy on a rental. They said I had not sent in pictures of the water heater and electrical panel. This was the first I knew that wanted the pictures. The idiots also sent a cancelation letter to my mortgage provider!

Sept 2008, the giant storm that swept across the US left a giant tree on my house. State farm took my claim, gave me a claim number, offered to pay for hotel for my family, and then when i accepted the offer, they said they had cancelled me in July. Well that was news to me! While fighting with them and going over every piece of correspondance from them, I realized that not only were they full of crap and couldn't prove anything they said, but also that I had been paying a whole bunch of money to insure a TOTAL STRANGER'S VEHICLE on my auto policy too!
Once faced with these inconceivable mistakes, they not only DIDNT offer me a refund, but continued to try to NOT pay my homeowner's claim. I fought bitterly with them while my walls were exposed to the elements and my wires were ripped down..up until the day their executive manager of the region only apologized for the customer service rep giving me a claim number!
Once I called the number for the US Dept of Insurance, and told them the situation..I miraculously got a call from their underwriting department (who was previously very hostile) offering to "reinstate" my policy and take care of my claim.
Guess it takes an investigator from the NATIONAL government on their ### to get them to do the very most basic thing...pay for the damage that I paid them to cover. Isn't that what "insurance" means? I am still, however, waiting for this to actually HAPPEN. In the meantime, we had to find someone on our own to clear away the debree and nail some wood over the open holes in my house and roof.
Can't wait to see what stupid things they say next.

State Farm kept part of insurance premiums at time of cancellation

was accepted by state farm as a auto insurance holder. I called and cancelled the policy as I found it cheaper with another carrier but, they fail to refund the entire amount. They said I received a packet of information that explained this to me "(if you cancel your policy within the first 6 months, you lose part of the refund.)" An agent came to my home and completed the application and never provided me with the information. Approximately 2 weeks later, I received the information packet in the mail. I would like to get my money back and see that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Sincerely,

I too have State Farm Auto insurance for many many years. Just recently they increased my rates and I was pissed. When I visited the local office of my agent to ask them why they couldn't give me a reason? Im over the age of 50 with no tickets or accidents. What really pissed me off was when they could not give me an answer why my rates were increased. Least to say I gave them a piece of my mind and told them I was taking my business elsewhere.

State Farm deception and fraud!

Agent Tonya Turner office called me with the intent of signing me up for a credit card but wouldn't reveal their true intentions. They just said I could get free state farm dollars and she needed my Ok. She gave me a number to call which was a verification service. I didn't give them any information and told them I wasn't signing up for anything. I spoke with the Agent again who asked my why I didn't call the number she gave me and I told her I was not signing up for anything and the verification service told me she was really trying to sign me up for a credit card. I told her in no uncertain terms that I did not want any credit card from her or anyone else. Weeks later I get a letter congratulating me on my new credit card.

Did she call the verification service claiming to be me and signed me up? She signed me up in any event. I called my agent and she didn't believe me. I told her I didn't give her office employee any personal information. I asked her what kind of questions would she have asked me and Tonya said she needed to know how much money I made. I told her I don't give that to no one. She said of course then she asked me how much money I made.

I told her I wanted to switch agents and I gave her an agent name. She lied saying that agent is a very good friend and is not taking any new people. Then I told her I had already called that office and they were glad to accept me.

Tonya Turner and her office has lied to me, signed me up for a credit card I never authorized, and continues to try to sway me from the services I request.

The credit card was done via fraud. The agent is dishonest and untrustworthy.

This is definitely not the way most State Farm agents behave. You have every right to switch agents. You can send a request letter to State Farm directly to do this!

State Farm agent, claims adjuster, claim center tm #14 and fraud division

I have been with State Farm Insurance for over 13 years and had little problems until I hit a small log on the road damaging the front end suspension and read bumper area of my 04 Dodge Caravan, with 52,000 miles. I contacted my agent and proceeded to a service first center wherein pictures were taken and a notation indicating to check front end knocking and noise. A week later I was advised that my vehicle was fixed and the noise under the front end were cause by some damaged Strut Links. The repair center representative called while I was on the way and informed me that the State Farm's adjuster would not cover the Strut Link repairs due to it being a normal ware and tear items. I advised him that my vehicle drove fine before this incident and now State Farm (SF) is using this normal wear and tear issues to avoid paying the claim. I was advised that since there was no visible damage underneath my front end that it would not be covered. I advised the repair center agent and SF agent that just because you cannot see damage, doesn’t mean there is none. I have to give the Repair Center Rep. (RCR) credit as he explained how SF always undercuts estimates and will use tactics like this to avoid for paying repairs. I paid my deductible and for the strut links. I then received my paperwork and began to drive my vehicle off and as I did I heard the same popping noise under my left driver’s side and returned to the repair center. The put my vehicle on the rack and I as well inspected underneath the front end, brakes, etc. for something loose. However, we were unable to find anything.

I advised the mechanic that I believed it was a strut and since SF had already used the wear and tear issue to deny my claim, I went and purchased the struts myself and brought my vehicle back to the Repair Center Monday morning. The struts were put on and after the test drive, vehicle fixed and working fine. I advised the RCR that it appeared to be fixed. I asked some questions about the repair order I received from the mechanic since I was required to pay $155.00 labor for these repairs up-font and already paid for the materials. I was advised the claim would be resubmitted and if there were a difference owed that the RCR would cut me a check. I had been in touch with my agent throughout this whole period and to reach out to him for assistance. However, Any time I discussed my dissatisfaction with SF and how they were not even attempting to address these issues it was giving me seconds thoughts about being a customer of SF. I made this clear to my agent, and claim center representatives (CCR) in Bloomington, IL. I spent over $440.00 dollars out of my own pocket to get my vehicle repaired to ensure it was in working order. At the time I could care less about SF and the issues of normal wear and tear. I advised my agent and claim rep. of my dissatisfaction and intention to pursue this issue matter in another venue. This was not a money issue for me but an issue of getting my vehicle fixed and receiving the respect and dignity I deserved from SF.

I took all my receipts in and turned the original over to my agents secretary and advised her of the aforementioned strut being fixed and I was not expecting SF to pay for the other strut, however I advised her that I was not going to replace one without the other. I received copies of the repair order (with parts and labor) alignment charge from a dealership service center I paid for.

I then contacted the CCR dept. and advised I would like to know within a week what course of action they were going to take. I called back in a week and was forwarded to a number and a person named Marion Ashner. I left a message for him and he called my back indicating that someone had definitely whited something out on the repair order and he was going to see if the fraud investigators were going to take the case over. I advised him that I got copies of all the paperwork and there is no whiteout on it and what are you talking about. I advised him that he needed to get a copy of the originals before he began inferring or suggesting that I am involved in some type of fraudulent activity. He indicated that he needed to gather all the facts. I informed him that I paid for these repairs out of my own pocket, because SF pulled its usual games of refusing to pay and I have a right for SF to look at this and determine whether they will pay for some of these repairs or not and if not I will pursue it in other venues. Mr. Asner indicated well we would look into this and see if the investigators want to get involved. I advised him that him and SF are going to be in a fight for your misdeeds, allegations, retaliation, and harassment. Just because I stood up to SF about the perception of how your company works and the perception you give to your customers Vs, the reality of coercion, deception, fraud etc.

This saga will continue and I will provide updates.

I am confident that this is not the first time SF has resulted to this tactic and treatment of customers. If anyone has a comment on the above narrative please reply.

PS. The total repair bill including bumper, bodywork, and front-end repair was under $1,200.00 minus a $100 dollar deductible and the $400 plus dollars I paid out of my pocket!

Thank you for your time.

To whom it may concern at State Farm Corporate
The communications below are in a reverse time frame, meaning that the earliest is at the bottom of the page.
I have been a State Farm customer for several years. I've always paid my premiums on time and I do not file frivilous claims. I recently had a claim to file on 21 foot travel trailer. I was told, without equivocation, that no claim would be processed on the trailer because that kind of damage wasn't covered. To the best of my knowledge no adjuster was ever dispateched to investigate the damage. I recently moved from Illinois to Arizona and had not changed agents. I understand that this geographical separation probably complicated matters, however, I thought the least my agent could do was have someone in Arizona take a look. When I told him that the gentleman at the RV place where I had taken the trailer needed to talk to him, he very flatly said that he didn't need to and had no intention of talking to anyone at the place.
In anger I wrote the, shall we say, opening salvo. The tone and dialogue that the agent has had since then is nothing less than juvenile.
However, I still stand by my original words. If I can do anything within the boundaries of the law to discredit this man, I will. He also has an assistant named Jerry something that is equally abravise.
It was my intention to stay with State Farm even after moving to Arizona. I actually had queried this agent about coverage on a motorhome that I just purchased, as can be verified by the ensuing dialogue, and he said as long as I owned property in Illinois there was no need to change agents. At least I think that's what he said.
I sold my travel trailer for salvage because without some coverage assistance it wasn't worth trying to repair and sell.
The bottom line is this. I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid any and all State Farm products. Will my one voice make a dent in your bottom line. Probably not, but, it is my only recourse for what I think was very unjust and unprofessional treatment.
Read the extended communications and judge for yourself.

The best time to reach me is in the morning.
Todd to say that I'm disappointed in your claim service on my trailer
would be an understatement. As far as I know you didn't even have an
adjuster examine the damage. However, that reaction is what I have come
to expect from you and your kind and State Farm. It's all about
collecting premiums and generating denials when it comes to claims.
I have yet to decide which avenue I'm going to take next. I can tell you
this, I will explore every legal avenue to discredit you as an insurance
agent.
I wish you the worst of luck and hope that eventually what goes around

State Farm I want this company exposed!

I was involved in a three car accident, not at fault. I was standing still inside a parking lot exit waiting for traffic to pass. A Domino's Pizza driver insured by State Farm hit a car on the street and that car collided with my car (still standing still in the parking lot). My car was a total loss.

I was traumatized as my vehicle was t-boned on the driver's side. I saw the car about to hit me and felt my spine bend noticeably toward the right and snap back into place during the collision. I experienced the usual aches and pains. After sending me a small check for auto repairs, which I did not accept, State Farm agreed that the auto was a total loss and paid me for the car. However, throughout the experience I was treated rudely and disrespectfully by State Farm staff.

I am in the process of trying to settle the "pain and suffering" issue without hiring attorneys and claiming a lot of injuries. I continue to be treated rudely and disrespectfully to the point that their tone has been accusatory and noticeably attempting to intimidate!

At the age of 53, I have never experienced such appalling treatment by representatives of a professional organization. I would like this behavior investigated further. These people need to be stopped. Their training and customer service practices are disgraceful!

I WANT THIS COMPANY EXPOSED!

My home was broken into on Thanksgiving day. I had just recently switched to state farm so I am a new customer. It is now January 3rd and I have not been offered any kind of help from them regarding all of my loss and property replaced or any help at all. i am a single mother who not only was burgularized on a holiday, but had to move as a result of the burgulary and with the awesome help I received from State farm, was unable to even begin replacing anything! I have 6 sons who went without TV, and video games, and all the other things that were stolen over a holiday, no school, and a Christmas without! I had to move so naturally I had to pay out an extensive amount of money just to get us settled only to find out that the company that was suppose to be there for me is nowhere to be found. Is There anything that I can do/ Can someone please help?

I was still in traffic when a lady gunned the car to cross in front of me. Instead she rammed me T bone style. I'm in Bozeman Montana. The State Farm worker won't call or return calls. I am severely handicapped and now more so. I have extensive medical records to prove fault and police report. He has hidden for nearly five years leaving me with nothing but spine damage arm and hand pseudo sepsis etc. The only time I got an immediate response was when my newly acquired attorney contacted him. He wrote with an offer of three grand. Oh the car was totaled. I had to quit my job and lost the use of my left hand in many ways. I can go on but I think all our points are the same...State Farm is Evil and should be destroyed.

State farms will not pay for my vehecle to be fix completely. They only wants to fix partial of the damage, claiming it was involve in two accident and it wasnt. My vehecle was damage in a hit and run accident and I reported it to STATE FARMS INSURANCE to fix the damage and they claim its two incidents to keep from paying I guess. I have been with state farms for 15 years and my wife about 20 years with only two or three incident during these years, and the incident was minor like someone rear ended me no damage to the vehecle in 2001, in 2005 a fix windsheld nothing major. I have 5 vehecles covered though STATE FARMS full covrage and my home and they will not fix my vehecle unless I pay for two deductable for one incident. I recently return from iraq as a wounded warrior in the military and now, I have to fight an insurance company.

I was recently involved in an accident with a State Farm insured driver. It occurred on a small (barely large enough for two cars/ converted railroad track from the 1800's), icy, snowpacked road in Colorado. I moved my vehicle within 4 inches of a 60ft cliff to avoid this young man. He was looking into his seat, noticed I was also coming around the blind corner, I was going UP HILL in four wheel drive with studded snow tires at half his speed and came to a complete stop before he slid 40 ft and hit me. He was driving an empty Dodge pickup, with worn summer radial tires, coming down a 40% grade, about 45 MPH (way too fast for conditions) I was quite angry but kept my cool and just exchanged info as fast as possible to avoid another car colliding with us ( I should have taken pictures), no police are available at this remote location, nor is cell service. To his credit, the driver accepted liability, apologized, and said he would make it all "right" with his insurance "State Farm". He did exactly what he said and immediately contacted his insurance before I was even able to get home. He was insured out of an office in Nebraska, which was where his claim was filed. I was told at that time that "the driver has accepted liability and we will send a estimator to look at your vehicle". I thought "OK good, finally someone did the right thing"... I couldn't have been more wrong. The estimator showed up 5 DAYS LATER! The estimate was made and is $2000 less than what everybody else has given me. Then as I was awaiting the paperwork so I could start repairs, the Nebraska office called and told me "we are having some problems with transfering the claim to our mountain state office and its being delayed". Then majically, another week later, I get a call from the "mountain region office" and they refuse to accept liability, AFTER THEY ALREADY DID! THen I was interviewed again about what happened in the accident. They were snotty, rude, and totally ignorant to the terrain in Colorado, even though it was a Colorado office! She seemed to not believe my statement that anywhere in Colorado is without cell service and that their are no police nearbye, even after I told her to google earth the location, of which she refused to do. I also provided additional info on a passenger that was with me at the accident and he has not been contacted. We were stoppped long enough before impact that I was actually able to say "this isn't going to end well", before I was hit, this man was totally at fault, all the evidence points to his addmission of fault and I doubt he changed his story, I think State Farm changed his claim to save them some money. State Farm is a typical sleazebag insurance company. I hope they soon go by the way of Lehman Bros, a sick, sick, joke.

I was t-boned by an SUV on my BMW motorcycle and I was fortunate enough to walk from the accident because of my great physical condition. I was able to jump up between the car and bike right before impact. The suv hit me and I hit the pavement HARD! I had a patially dislocated right shoulder and an internal bruise on my right hip. Neddless to say, I'm terrified to get back on a MC. I lost about a month of work and am still in pain. State Farm wants to give me $1, 200. Craziness.

They actually went so far as to say that their local offices that sell their policies and represent the company do not know anything about the insurance that they sell. Now that makes sense? Who would say that about a company that they work for. I was so disgusted with them. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Valerie - I am sorry you witnessed such a traumatic accident; however I must ask were you hit by the car? Did the car(s) touch you in any way, shape or form? I can answer that for you because your post clearly identified what happened. Because you were not getting in, out of, onto a car and you were not physically injured as a result of the accident (in other words you were not in the car when it was struck, merely witnessed it with your own eyes) you have no basis for an injury claim. All the company owes you for is the repairs of the auto IF, I repeat IF they find their insured at fault.

JW - your post is limited to nothing more than State Farm being disrespectful. You don't tell if you are their insured or if somebody insured by State Farm hit you, this can make all the difference in what is paid because if you are the insured they only have a contractural obligation to pay based on the policy enforced. If you were hit by a State Farm driver then there are also some questions you did not address in your post.

State farm talk to me like I was trash and very disrespectful. And they don't wont to fix all the damage to my truck. They tolled the repair shop that they had to pickup the last three days of the rental, so that leaves me with out .What can we do about State Farm Ins.

State Farm no rental car provided

My car was parked in a parking lot- one of there insured hit my car in the side -my car has a dent in the door-Its still drivable-it has a dent in the door. State Farm wants to total my car -make me get a salvage title- it has a dent in the door-because my car is a1991 Chevy Corisa- because its an older car -I need my car to go to work-never married-have no children - I need my car-why can't they send me a check to get the dent in the door fixed-instead of making me go through all this unnecessary crap. They won't give me a rental car while the dent is being fixed-it's like I'm being punished and I didn't do anything. It's my car. Why and how can they do this to people- I don't have insurance with them and it's like nobody will help me. Please help me.

Your own insurance company is not responsible for your injuries unless the other's driver does not have adequate liability insurance. You should have a coverage called uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. If you do not have this, your policy won't pay.

I can't believe what I am reading I am also with state farm auto insurance and I have my daughter signed up under my auto insurance and she has full coverage with them and they also are doing her wrong she was in an accident last Jan 08 and they didnot offer us really any info and she has a lot of neck and back pain and the co.would not finish paying for the physical theraphy because the driver of this delivery service did not have insurance so now my daughter has a bill with the physical theraphy office that she was going to and they did not tell her that she had a limited time that she could be going to the theraphy dr. I do believe that my Daughter and I will be looking for a NEW INSURANCE CO.

Note to Patricia Smith ...

If you have a Police Report that says you were stopped at the traffic light ... for a period of time ... and the other car hit you in the rear ... it's an open and shut case for any Jury. You'll win.
.
The hospital records, and doctors bills are what counts. You need to CONSULT with an attorney and see what he says. No attorney will be charging you anything to file suit in your case; he will take a fee if he wins. If he loses, he eats those costs. Read the Yellow Pages where attorneys say just exactly that.

Note to Linda S. Jolly ...

The first thing that you have to do is call a Salvage Yard, and ask them if they have a door that will match your Make and Model car. On a Liability Policy, the company has the option of Repairs or Replacement up to the ACV of the vehicle. If the salvage door is less than the "Total Loss" ... you don't need to get a salvage title. You just buy the door. Then have some body shop hang it on the car. It might need some paint on that door to match the rest of the car. Door, plus labor, plus paint is the extent of your claim.

That should not be a total loss, unless the door pillar, roof panel, or rocker panel under the door, is buckled. If you have any other old damage on the car that you never got fixed, those amounts get subtracted from the Book Value of the car.

Imagine having a $10 bill in your hand, and burning it with a match. That's a TOTAL LOSS, and you don't get Car Rentals to go to the bank, or to work, to get another $10 bill.

STATE FARM SHOULD HAVE THEIR LISCENCE REVOKED!

I have paid auto and home insurance with State Farm for over 25 years. Had very few claims. The first time I get hit in the rear end sitting at a stop light and was injured badly. Of coarse, they refuse to pay for my medical bills. The car that hit me was also insured with State Farm.
I am expected to pay or sue them myself for the injuries I have incured from that accident. I have had to have a disk fused in my neck because of the accident, over $50, 000 dollars in Dr. bills, if I lose it will cost me about $10, 000 out of my pocket if I take it to court and lose, or over $50, 000 out of my pocket.
This is absolutly unacceptable that this insurance company won't pay my bills. I have been left with a 25% disability besides them not not paying my hospital and Dr. bills. There should be laws against them that cost them if they don't cover the person insured when it is not their fault.

State Farm - bait and switch!

My daughter got her license a year a go , and got herself a car. For the first 6 months we kept her under our policy. Well its almost time for her to go away to college, we figured this was a good as time as any to get her one of her own. After shopping around and get a very wide range of quotes we decided upon State Farm. They had the best price. The...

State Farm hit and run

My car was hit in June 2006 while it was parked in front of my house. I woke up early and heard a loud noise and did not see anything - oh if I only knew. The truth is State Farm will not pay me a dime because the car was taken without permison and they will not pay up! It took them months and months to tell me nothing. I had to keep calling them to get an answer voice mail is all I got. I am still upset as my car sits there smashed and won't run, it was such a good car b4 it got hit. I will never ever use State Farm for anything at all the rest of my life.

It is universal among insurance companies that provide coverage for permissive use, that any driver must have permission!

Dawn Marie Amos ...

Your complaint doesn't make sense. If it was parked in front of your house, what's all this about its being taken without your permission?

If you are saying that the other car was taken without the owner's permission, the one that hit your car, then the Driver is 100% liable for hitting your car, with or without insurance.

You seem to be saying that State Farm insures the owner of the car that hit you. You seem to be saying that you don't have collision coverage on yours, or Uninsured Motorist Property Damage Coverage.

See what the Claim Limit is in Small Claims Court, and file suit against the Driver and the vehicle Owner. Ask State Farm for a copy of the Statement that they took from the Driver and Owner.
Get a copy of the Police Report for the Court. Get an estimate on the damages to your car.

State Farm state farm takes your money but doesn't pay!

If you use State Farm Insurance run, don't walk, to another company fast! They take your money but give you every hassle in the book when it comes to paying.

They won't follow up on collision claims when you have your car repaired under collision insurance. They say they will go after other driver and get ur deductible back, but they do nothing but send you a letter about 6 months later saying "sorry we aren't going to pursue this any more". If you get hit by an uninsured/underinsured driver, forget state farm giving you anything. A scratch and they will total your car then offer you less than 10% of its actual worth. They low ball all costs on claims. Get ur roof torn up in a hail storm, State Farm will declare there is no damage and you will have to fight them for months to get ur roof repaired. Then they will swear that any price is too high. On liability they will hang you out to dry. I was with them 20+ years and should have quit them 15 years before, I kept thinking that it was just a one time thing, that they would be better next time. Don't fool yourself, they have been sued by more Attorney Generals in more states than I can count. They have very deceptive practices and continue to have them. If you idea of a good neighbor is someone who will harass you, make noise all night, destroy your property and steal from you, then state farm is a good neighbor.

Their electronic payment didn't work, it takes multiple days to "overnight" a check because "it takes multiple days to print and put it in an envelope" I called and tried to work it out on Oct 17th, I MAY get a check by the 24th. It shouldn't take any where near that long.

June 18, 2021 hail storm in Martinsville Indiana. St Farm declined my claim with two different inspections. St Farm refused an independent adjuster to provide claim. I have detailed picture which provide proof that damage is from Hail and not "Blistering". Houses on both sides of me received new roofs from same hail storm.
