Starbucks promo for birthday email

My wife received an email on her birthday for a free coffee on her birthday. We stopped at the store at 14620 hull street road, midlothian va to redeem on her birthday on her way to work. The "veteran" barista as the shift leader referred to the person who refused to honor the offer at the drive thru was condescending and said that it was for online shopping. I handed her the phone with the email for her use in finding the "code", she continued to say that it was for a 15% discount online. While the email does contain the discount, it also contains the free coffee reward. I came back to talk to a manager, and ended up speaking with the shift leader as there wasn't a manager in the store, the condescending attitude was again evident when he said that she is a "veteran" barista and he "was sorry I misunderstood" the email. I asked if this was a franchise or corporate store, he said it is a corporate store, I said that they either need to provide better training or stop sending emails that they wouldn't honor. He said that there is a number to call to complain about the email. The smug attitude, and lack of interest to address a customer concern is the reason that I am disatisfied with starbucks.

Starbucks coffee

2 weeks ago I went to starbucks on 43rd and 9th avenue in new york new york 10036. I went in around 9:15pm and orders a vent black hot coffee. I put a little milk and sugar in it and walk back to my f place literally across the street. I took a sip and it was room temperature. Not wanting to leave again I just threw it out as I don't have a microwave. I figured ok it's not cool but they must have been closing so the next day I went back in and ordered another vent black coffee and asked the person at the counter what time they normally close. He said 10pm which I then replied should I come in at any certain time so to make sure I get hot coffee when I come in. He said no anytime before 10 is fine and then I told him what happened and he said that's just someone not doing there job. So this was not what I was expecting or wanting to hear but it happened and as I use starbucks everyday by my work and I just moved to this neighbourhood I was hoping this would be my local and I was still hopeful. A few days later I decided to go into same starbucks and I ordered a frappacino and I get them often so when I got this one and it was as if there was no ice in it like just a cold drink I was now upset as this was the second time at this location a mess up so I said forget it I threw it out and got a new one by my work where I know there going to be made correctly. A few day later still my wife wanted a tea so we went into same starbucks yet again and she got her tea I ordered the frappacino again thinking it's going to be fine this time I was wrong again cold not lie a frappacino is supposed to be. So this brings me to today I once and now the last time went to 43rd and 9th avenue and ordered and as it's now just wishful thinking I ordered a frappacino and for the last time at that. I go to several starbucks all over the city and I will not return to this one again. This has to be the worse drinks of any starbucks in nyc. Lastly the homeless people who sit in the starbucks are taking over the place. It's a small place but there is one gentleman that is always there and never eating, drinking or otherwise. He takes the big table and sits there all day leterally. I'm sorry this place is garbage in comparison and has lost my business.

Starbucks filthy disease producing carpet and drapes at the green lake dr. star bucks.

This is why I do not frequent the green lake dr. Starbucks any more. I've been going there for over 18 years and now i'm not.. The carpet and the drapes have never been cleaned! I have complained but no one good give a damn! Read this a get a clue! Michael

The british penchant for public fitted carpets could be killing us. According to a report published today, carpets act like toxic sponges, sucking up dangerous amounts of poisons and pollutants dragged into the home by pets and on shoes.

John roberts, an environmental engineer known as dr dust for his obsession with household hygiene, said that a typical carpet contained such high levels of toxic chemicals that it would trigger an environmental clean-up if found outside. His findings suggested that dirty carpets could be one of the major causes of the rise in children's asthma, allergies and cancer.

It could mean that living in a wooden-floored loft is better for your health. Ninety per cent of british homes were carpeted, more than any other country. Mr roberts said a laboratory test of a sample of carpet dust from an average home revealed alarmingly high levels of pesticides, cancer-causing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and mercury, and polychlorinated biphenols (pcbs).

Pcbs were banned in the 1970s but are still found in electrical equipment, wall coverings, paints and plastics. They have been proved to cause cancer and reproductive problems such as miscarriages and still births in animals, as well as severe skin rashes, liver damage, breathing disorders and thyroid gland illnesses. Most of the toxins were brought into the house on shoe soles or the paws of pets.

Others were produced during cooking or were the residues of insecticides, deodorisers, cleaning products and other household sprays used in the home. Pet hair, the remains of dry-cleaning chemicals left on clothes, noxious chemicals in cigarette smoke, dust mites and mould added to the mix, resulting in exposure to toxic pollutants being up to 50 times higher in the home than outdoors.

According to mr robert's latest research, vacuuming deposited more dust than it picked up so that over time carpets became a disgusting repository of toxic substances. He said: "the carpet is the largest reservoir of dust in a house, so that a house with bare floors and a few areas of rugs will have about one-tenth of the dust found in a house with wall-to-wall carpet."

To make matters worse, long-banned pesticides such as ddt persisted for years indoors because they were sheltered from sun, rain and other forces that quickly degraded them outdoors, said robert lewis, head of indoor air research at the united states environmental protection agency.

Dr lewis chopped up several 10 to 33-year-old carpets and said it was common to find up to five pesticides in a carpet at concentrations many times the amount applied in a single application. One square metre of carpet contained more than a gram of permethrin, a dose of poison several hundreds of times greater than would be administered in a single spray of a household insecticide, he said.

The report published in new scientist warned that children were much more at risk than adults because they frequently put their hands in their mouths after touching carpets or furniture and because they breathed at a higher rate. Weight for weight, it warned, small children inhaled 23 times as much air as their parents.

Even relatively low levels of the poisons in dust could irritate their lungs, damage their developing nervous systems, [censor] their growth and hearing, or lead to cancer. Researchers estimated that every day the average infant under the age of two in urban america ingested 110 nanograms of benzopyrene, equivalent to smoking three cigarettes a day.

This chemical, the most toxic of all polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, was normally found in tobacco smoke and cooking fumes.

Starbucks cappuccino viente

I switched from hot chocolate to the viente cappuccino. I went about six times in a week s time frame to four different locations. Each and everyone has given me a half cup to three fifths of a cup of liquid and two and a half to three inches or more of foam. I feel I am being shortchanged when I am paying out over five dollars for a cup. When questioned about it your employee said you know a cappuccino is suppose to be mostly foam and I should change my drink to the latte. I have had cappuccinos in past and never have I had almost equal shares of foam to liquid. I pay well for your drinks and expect to get my moneys worth! I would like you to speak with employees about this theft of money and I feel as if I am entitled to a refund or vouchers for two to three drinks for your theft of my drinks! Starbucks no seating

I live in pembroke pines florida... There are 3 starbucks around me I am 65yrs old and have stopped going to starbucks it is not the wait for service it is the fact that there is never any seating... People run there business from the cafes... I have seen them bring fax machines, printers, phone charges computer charges and sit in the cafe for hours... Student use it as their personal libraries and one person occupies a table for four... Baristas say nothing to them for which you can not blame them.. Tables are moved around to. Accomadate electronics and books... There is no room for me I go to panera now!

I proceeded to to the counter in coincidence with a pakistani family negotiating their order. Once the customer in front me finished.
The surprise that tha pakistani staff asked the pakistani family to proceed ahead of me.
I told the pakistani staff : this type of discrimination if you give the a priority because they ar pakistani and he said yes.
Even the pakistani family allowed me to be served, he refused to serve me.
I told him I am complaining, he laughed and ask me to take his name an number

Starbucks disrespectful (drive-thru) employees

I’ve been a starbucks customer for close to 15 years. It is a fact when I say that I have never had any issues until recently or within the last five years. One incident, over the many, drove me over the edge. I ordered a iced venti coconut green tea latte. I was handed the drink with clumps of powdered tea. For those that drink green tea, if not mixed well it is bitter and not satisfying at all. I asked the young lady in the drive thru if they could re-mix the drink well. She was not too happy with my request and took the drink and began moving it around and around. I expressed to the young lady that I could have done myself. That I wanted my drink well mixed. She looked at me and with a mocking and accelerated voice said, “you want your drink mixed, I will make you a new one. Is that what you want? Is that what you want?” I was appalled and honestly did not know what to do with myself. She had the audacity to call for a supervisor. I shared the situation and the fact that what I asked was for my drink to be re-mixed, not remade. She tried compensating by overly apologizing and tried refunding my money. I asked her to keep the cash; however, did ask for general managers contact # and will be reaching out to corporate. For the last five years the starbucks industry has become shaded — from “you are welcome” and /or “my pleasure” to “sure” or my personal favorite “ahm.” ahm, what does that even mean?! And from “may I help you?” to “what do you want?” not only am I disturbed by the way the corporation has allowed this to develop to begin with, but the lack of concern as it remains. The reason I pay for overpriced coffee in the first place (was) because of the amazing service I (use) to receive. Still trying to determine if coffee is worth a headache…not sure if i’d go back to starbucks in the near future.

Starbucks cinnamon dolce latte

Cinnamon dolce latte. After being very clear that I had an allergy to milk, I ordered a latte with coconut milk. The employee ask me if I wanted whip cream, I said no I have allergy.

Fast forward a couple hours after drinking my latte, i'm covered in spots and traveling for work. It's a huge inconvenience, when I explain this to customer service they took notes and did not even offered to refund the drink I had bought.

Starbucks tasteless drink

The starbucks store on hwy 30 in valparaiso in is the store I go to. I've always had good service and good drinks. Today I ordered the strawberry cream frappuccino. I drove away and tasted it. It seemed very watered down and there wasn't any taste of strawberry. I suggest they remove that from their menu. It tasted terrible. Next time i'll go in for my drink and taste it first!

Starbucks rude employee

I stop at the starbucks kiosk in the albertson's store on king avenue in billings, mt., at least 3 times a week, as does my husband. For the last month, there has been an employee there who has been rude, dismissive, and often ignored that I was even standing there. At one point, after waiting 3 minutes with no acknowledgment, I said "excuse me, i've been waiting here awhile"... She said "I know that, i'm busy". I walked out. As I did this morning, after waiting again while she warmed someone's eyepatch in the microwave for him! Gross! I'm going to start going to the city brew a block away.

Starbucks just black coffee!

I just came from ordering a tall coffee with cream on the side and was given everything in it so I went back in line to let them know the lady at the window was not very nice and said so what do you want me to change it I said when I left I notice that the cup was half full so I went back in line and told the person that I wanted my coffee filled all the way she said we left room for cream I did not asked so she grabbed my cup and filled it and I asked her did you put in the same coffee and she said yes what ever you ordered I asked what it was and she said she did not know so by now I am upset and asked to speak to the manager she apologized and said she will repay my drink tomorrow and the lady behind her is just feed up and scratching her head I told the manager that I have noticed in many occasions that I get a different treatment if I only order regular black coffee and not one of your specialty drinks needless I am very disappointed and did not get to enjoy my just black coffee

Starbucks failure to give me what I order and pay for

I have been going to your new store in ferguson since it has opened and is closer than the other 2 I frequent. For the past 2 months they have been messing up my order. I order 4 shots in my hot drinks but constantly are not putting them in there. On 2 separate occasions I simply got steamed milk, that wasn't even steamed right, btw. When I complained about it to the manager he told me to come in and fix my drink issue. But there was no way I got just milk. I drink coffee everyday I think I know the difference between milk and espresso... Not to mention that I have been a barista for 5 years and am currently a chef and have been for 17 years so to say I don't know is very insulting to me. I even for 2 straight weeks have gone to different starbucks locations to see if I was simply crazy as my intelligence is questionable to ya'll to see if there was a difference. Yes there was... My espresso drink taste like more than just flavored milk. For at least 2 months at $8 a drink ya'll have been basically stealing from me, oh plus the dollar I tip every time. Today I went back to the ferguson one ordered my drink, pay my 8 bucks get halfway home and see I have black coffee. So I turned around go back and ask if I can get my 8 dollar drink and not a black coffee that cost 2. Hella attitude from the girls working and continuous laughing because they thought it was funny. There was maybe 2 customers inside and no one in the drive thru so out of simple laziness and lack of care or respect for not only your company but me as well they are not serving people what they order. What is wrong with this store, it's employees and management. You have ruined way too many of my days for me to ever return and left me uncaffinated while paying for it for the last time. I know I probably won't hear back and that no one in your company really cares.

Starbucks order forgotten

On 1/6/17 at 7:30 am, I placed an order for a double bacon & gouda artisan breakfast sandwich and pesto sandwich. However, I realized after I had stepped away from the counter that the employee helping me never got my name for the breakfast sandwich that needed to be made. I waited for 10 minutes until I had to leave for work. Other people got their breakfast sandwiches before me so I assume mine was forgotten because a name was never placed on it. I understand that mistakes happen and if I had more time or realized my order was actually forgotten, I would had asked an employee for help. I am requesting a refund for the sandwich I ordered and paid for, but never received.

Starbucks holiday light red coffee mug

My daughter purchased the above cup a few days ago for her father who is admitted at northwestern medical center in chicago. It was also purchased at the feinberg pavillion on the first floor. After purchasing this mug, she noticed several days later that the top does not tighten and loosely fits the top of the cup. I brought it back to the same location and the manager refused to exchange or return this defected item. I did not save the receipt since we used the cup. I don't recall her name but I believe her attitude and customer service was rude and unprofessional.

Starbucks refused to be served while waiting in line before closure

On december 24, 2016 I visited the starbucks location in ontario ca. Off of vineyard and walnut. It was at 5:55 pm and I just made it in line for the drive - thru. The holiday hours for christmas eve is that it closes at 6pm. After waiting in the line at the drive-thru and finally arriving at the teller, the worker told me that she just tooo her last customer and she is now closed. I told her that I was waiting in the line the whole time and that there was no one out there to close the line down. She apologized but told me that she was now closed. I told her to get supervisor because I ve been waiting in the line and I cant get out because they were cars in front of me and cars behind me in the drive-thru. I got the supervisor's name, "ashely rae". By the time I got to the window I spent about 20 minutes in the drive-thru and was refused to be served. I told ashely that I use to work at a fast food restaurant and I know that you need to take care of the last customer waiting in the line before closing. She apologized again and told me that she needs to close the store down at a certain time and couldn't have anyone of her employees standing out there to let people know that it was closed. I was very angry because the whole time I was stuck in the drive-thru and couldn't leave anywhere and had to wait for nothing. I got a hold of the general manager's name, "dian" and told me that I could get two free coffees on her. However every time I come by there she is never around. Worst experience I ever had.

Starbucks starbucks via instant columbia 24 pack

I am a huge consumer of starbucks coffee products. I have on occasion found the via product taste 'off' but did not complain.
I have had two back to back taste issues (packets) with this recent box (see below).

The complaint each time is the same - that the coffee tastes like burnt molasses and not satisfactory - blech! Not the luscious columbia via I come to rely on. I will continue to buy the product but post my extreme displeasure with the product.

Starbucks oatmeal

I ordered oatmeal at the airport, I specifically requested all the toppings. Didn't have time to look at what was in the bag before I got on the plane, when I got on the plane the toppings were not in there. Very disappointing. I also work in the service industry and I would never treat a customer like that. If you don't have the toppings, tell me and i'll pick something else.

Starbucks starbucks for life game

I have been a long-time customer of the starbucks I go in there pretty much daily and i'm getting very very discouraged on the starbucks for life game. When I earn plays I will get a message saying that sorry i'm enthusiastic and have already played my place for the day. That has been happening from day one I have missed out on several and I mean several chances to get opportunity to win. And as a matter of fact I had a play in my email this morning I clicked on it and it said the same thing that I was enthusiastic and I already played hadn't even opened up the app yet. I understand there's problems but this is getting a little bit ridiculous. You can look I already have 742 stars saved. And several times this also has happened to me last year when you had your starbucks for life I had 10 stars that were to be credited to my account as of now they still never have been credited. I love starbucks I love playing the games but when it's not fair and you get cheated out of chances and stars and points he gets discouraging.

I agree- and have also had some of my own problems playing this 'game'. First one i noticed - it is not easy to find the darned game board to play. I searched "STARBUCKS FOR LIFE" and it brings me to news reports - and I have to click thru a few things just to find the board. Also getting some conflicting msgs too. I too like many things about Starbucks- but certain things are very annoying.

Starbucks free rewards

I ordered a turkey bacon breakfast sandwich and small coffee this morning at the commodore perry travel plaza in ohio at 5:55am. I had two rewards on my starbucks app and told michele (288046) that I wanted the sandwich free but will pay for the coffee. She had me scan my phone. She said the register did not accept my scan for the free item so she had me scan it again. She said the second time it took. Ok. Figured all was well. When I looked at my bill this evening it said the turkey breakfast sandwich was free and I was charged $2.25 for my coffee. Fine. Checked my starbucks app and the $2.25 was deducted from my balance but both of my free rewards were used :- (I would like my second free reward to be refunded to me. How do I go about getting that taken care of? One was used at 10:55 and the other 10:56. Help! I have my receipt and the info on my app.

Starbucks service

Today I visited the starbucks in ossining, highland ave. I noticed a 40% off on ugly sweater boxes of cookies posted on the menu boards and in a basket. I went to purchase the cookies and was told that the sale did not start until tomorrow. No where in the store did it state a date of the sale. Only that they were 40% off and until supplies lasted. When I asked for a manger I was told that the manger had left and that I could not buy the product on sale. Why would you post multiple signs for a sale item if the sale did not start that day? Due to their error of posting a sale without an effect date I feel as the consumer I should have been able to purchase the items. I am extremely disappointed with the decision that this store made in misleading their customers.
