In nimki mukhiya..mujhe aaj ka episode thora depressing laga because agar aap domestic violence dikhna chahtey hai tab bhi babu ji ke character ko aisa nahi dikhna chahiye tha...and use of leg by diamond and babbu ji is worst...!! It's my opinion..!! Now you need a strong story to change the character of babbu ji.. and she is a mukhiya and lead actress so..

The script writer of ‘Nimki Mukhia’ is either thoroughly confused or he just wants to keep the pot boiling. The so called nice guy and champion of women’s causes, the BDO Babu, is full of vices. He openly accepts graft in connivance with Mungherilal. He, as an EC officer, indulges in the heinous crime of morphing videos, in connivance with Nimki and others to defeat Tetar Singh. He is also a womanizer who loves to interfere in the married lives of women, which are already troubled, to create further problems, rather than keeping away- all for his own personal reasons. As far as the protagonist, Nimki is concerned, she cannot be emulated at all as a champion of women’s cause. She is far more ambitious, and dumped her life long friend Tunne, and perhaps even the BDO Babu, to marry Babbu Singh of the Feudal family to gain her status, despite Babbu not loving her (in fact, this boy had run away from the marriage). And now, Nimki has no one to blame but herself for her disastrous marriage. She conveniently adopts unfair methods like cheating in exams and forging signatures on cheques. Her vile efforts in connivance with the BDO, to defeat her father-in-law in the MLA election, despite all justifications, cannot be applauded as the means alone do not justify the end all the time. In fact, her this action can easily be called as ‘Kul-ghat’. Her role as Mukhia in the Bilmla Devi vs her husband Chander case, where she not only personally slaps Jharia twice publically exhibiting her own feudal tendencies, but also gets Chander slapped and spat-upon in the face in the panchayat, and then forces him to sign the ‘talaqnama’ leaves the ghastliest of ‘Khap-Panchayats’ way behind, thus exhibiting her arrogance and dictatorial tendencies. The way she humiliated and made fun of her husband and father-in-law publically in the panchayat, despite her own reasons, leaves the civilized person shocked and shamed. Thereafter, she again joins the haveli, rather than leaving it for good, just for personal reasons (selfishness), and loses all sympathies despite being severely beaten by her in-laws in the haveli. I am utterly disappointed. Reform the script, if you can. It is expected from a brave girl like Nimki to help her sick and helpless husband Babbu to recover and return to normalcy from the dark world of crime and politics and win his love and favor through love and care, thus transcending all barriers of cast, creed, social status and others, to be a true protagonist of the serial. BDO sahib, is now planning to bestow favours on his favorites like Tunne in awarding tenders/contracts, in consultation with your heroine ‘Nimki Ji’. It vindicates that the BDO is neither a clean officer nor a nice man. He is a bad example – not to be idolized at all. Your female protagonist, Nimki, who now claims to be the ‘Heroine’, is towing her old line of a vindictive, tyrant vamp. As per the Bihar Panchayat Act 2006, the Panchayat has no powers with respect to divorces for marriages under Hindu Marriage Act, even if both parties are willing. It is only the Family Court which can hear such cases. However, not only did she declare a tyrant-like panchayati divorce decree earlier on Chander& Bimla Devi, but she is now threatening her in-laws to again drag her husband in the Panchayat to again humiliate him and force divorce under her own conditions, because she treats panchayat as her fiefdom. She can be jailed for using divorce powers as Mukhia which are legally beyond her jurisdictions. She claims to be ‘Sita’ in ‘Ashok Vatika’ who would alone burn the ‘Lanka’ of her in-laws (Tetar Singh). Ha...Ha...Ha. We agree that Tetar Singh e.t a.l are Satan(s) in their own way, but Nimki et. al. are no saints either. Please caution your script writer not to glorify ‘Nimki’ as ‘Sita’ before it hurts feelings and may assume religious/caste-based connotations. The best way- out is for the elders (here, it means you and your script writer) to settle the matter amicably – either a graceful divorce, or a cordial patch-up.
But the purpose of this complaint is to protest against further division of the society in terms of caste, creed and gender. Here all baddies are 'Singhs' ( a surname generally synonymous with 'Rajputs' in Bihar) - Tetar Singh, Babbu Singh et al, Nahar Singh, Chirag Singh and his father, and even the electricity officer, Murli Singh. On the Other hand, all supposedly goodies are from other castes I am a proud Rajput and I respect all other castes equally. However, the serial, in the name of entertainment and an apology through a 'Disclaimer' is humiliating and making fun of us Rajputs. Kindly stop all this, lest we take recourse to legal and social options.
    Regards,
    Ranjit Singh

@ranjitsingh387 I agree with the complaint of ranjitsingh387 that the serial has gone stray from its aim of women's empowerment through rightful, peaceful and socially and legally correct means. Now all those forbiddings are being breached for whose adherence the struggle started through the serial Nimki Mukhia. There are no differences left between the warring parties. Good is being degraded as bad and bad is being glorified. Bad examples are being set by the protagonists - the BDO and Mukhia Nimki. Also, it is glaringly clear that malafides and hatred for the upper castes, especially the Rajputs (Singhs) is being created through the serial. Good and bad people are in all cross-sections of the society. This hatred, and fun-making of a particular segment of society must stop.

Is it ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ or ‘Nimki - The Frankenstein’s (Zama Habib’s) Monster’? I sincerely urge that the TV serial ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ being telecast during prime time on ‘Star Bharat’ TV Channel be stopped forth with because there are serious complaints as well as reviews against this serial to which the Channel as well as the Producers are least bothered about despite the Nimki Monster entering our houses daily in the evening and causing all wreckages - societal, ethical, cultural, psychological, and even legal, simply because the Producers/ Channel Owners are making good money. Some of the important complaints are – (1) Factual Blunders. The BDO is a petty officer whose job is to administer only the development of a Block in consultation with the Panchayat Samiti, which comprises of several Mukhiyas of different Panchayats (Block is either a sub-part of a circle or may be equivalent to a Circle in area and boundary. The Circle is headed by the Circle Officer, CO). BDO has no law & order or revenue powers. Similarly, the Panchayat has two heads – Firstly, the Mukhiya who recommends and monitors development work and schemes like MNREGA (these are the places where the Mukhiya often gets involved in corrupt practices). All developmental related works are done under the BDO’s administration through tendering where the major role is played by the state PWD officials. Thus, if there is a sub-standard work done by a contractor, invariably the BDO, the PWD official, the Mukhiya and the contractor will all be involved in corruption. Secondly, the other head is the Sarpanch who along with the other members of the Panchayat can solve minor disputes if the disputing parties are both willing (i.e., it is the Sarpanch who has some judicial powers), but he cannot force the decision on them (as a Court can do). It is noteworthy that the Mukhiya has no such judicial powers. Thus, the whole system of Panchayati Raj (Refer to Bihar Panchayati Raj act 2006) is voluntary in nature, where neither the Mukhiya nor the Sarpanch can force his decision on any citizen. They cannot even force any citizen to present himself before the Panchayat (as a court can through summons/warrants). To sum up, the Mukhiya as well as the BDO are ordinary officials/people’s representatives, and not demi-Gods, as being misguided by this serial. In fact, in Bihar, people care too hoots about them. With this as the factual position, here are the other causes why this serial must be banned, (2) the protagonists, the BDO and Nimki Mukhiya are both highly corrupt people who would willingly tamper with the MLA election process also, (3) the BDO is a womanizer whose only interest seems to be looking for women with disturbed married lives, (4) Nimki Mukhiya is an anarchist who would take law into her hands, (5) Nimki Mukhiya is a despot who is always surrounded by stooges like BDO, Tunne and her family members, and is a woman who would listen to no one but herself and would force her decision on every one, (6) Nimki Mukhiya does not believe in ‘look before you leap’, (7) Nimki Mukhiya has gone mad with deep rooted vengeance and hatred. The result is that Nimki Mukhiya has been turned by Zama Habib into ‘The Frankenstein’s Monster’, who is now wrecking everything, the institution of marriage, re-creating caste wars (specially against the Thakur Family of Tetar Singh) which may lead to the nefarious Bihar’s caste carnages, mobilizing mob attacks which may lead to dreaded unlawful mob lynching, and as far as morality, courtesy, decency, family-hood, and relationships are concerned, she has already hit them for a huge six. Therefore, kill this ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ now turned into Zama Habib’s Frankenstein’s Monster. Stop telecast of the serial ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ forth with before it destroys our value system and good faith in humanity and relationships.

@Maithili Yadav I totally agree with you. The Censor Board must understand that a TV serial must go under a much more rigorous social, cultural, legal, factual, and moral audit than a movie because a movie may be seen only for 3 hours and its impact is short-lived, whereas, a TV serial invades your home and value system every day for often more than years. Therefore, it has a long lasting and much deeper impact, and hence must undergo a much tougher censorship. In the instant case of 'Nimki Mukhiya', the well designed and well-intentioned character of Nimki Mukhiya to bear the torch of women-empowerment, has some how slipped out of the director/writer ( may be because the money-machine ticking this way, or may be that the director/writer just could not control the character), and has now so full of hatred and vengeance that it has truly turned into the Frankenstein's Monster, who just cannot be controlled now, and that it will destroy all our well established and cherished value-system for ages. Therefore, let us all kill this monster before it kills us. Stop the telecast of this TV serial 'Nimki Mukhiya' forth with. Are the Censor Board and the Star Bharat TV Channel listening?

@Anushila I think the producer/director, the owners of Star Bharat TV Channel, its Complaint Board and the Censor Board - they all have turned deaf, dumb and blind to the genuine reviews and complaints of the viewers against the TV Serial 'Nimki Mukhiya'. Despite requests/ suggestions of several reviewers Nimki has again slapped Jhariya twice in public on 07/12/18, displaying that she is much more feudal than Tetar Singh might have been as a Mukhiya (whether Jhariya is guilty or otherwise, is immaterial. No one has the right to do so, and least of all, a public representative like Mukhiya). The other problem is that there is no one either from amongst the well-wishers of Nimki or from the neutral civilized society to give her correct guidance and guts to tick her when she is wrong. They are all her stooges and cronies. It is pathetic to watch Ram Bachan, her father, the man most guilty of pampering her through out and making a monster out of her, also mumbling that how badly does he pity himself for his helplessness to help her daughter Nimki in her monstrous fights. The most insulting factor is the caption shown before the serial 'this serial is for pure entertainment, and it does not endorse any evils'. Mr. Censurer Sir, may I give you a Talisman to judge whether a serial be allowed or not! A serial is most welcome if it provides entertainment as well as enhances our human value system, it is acceptable if it is only entertainment for entertainment sake, but Sir, it must be rejected if it poisons the society and corrupts our value system, despite being the most entertaining one. This serial 'Nimki Mukhiya' is the fittest case for rejection. Will you all please stop its telecast forth with?

The TV serial ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, being telecast daily at prime time 8:30 PM, must be stopped forth with. If this is not possible, shift it to other slots, and better still, shift it to some other paid channel so that those who like it because, perhaps, it has lots of entertainment, even at the cost of poisoning the environment, may continue to watch it at their cost, while others like us, who otherwise want to see this channel because it is good and free, may be spared the agonies of forceful watching of ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, and subjecting our entire family to inhale poison and get the family shattered by vices of distrust, broken relationships, selfishness, power game, politics, extra marital relationships, egos, one-up-man/woman ship, revenge, hatred, corruption, disgraceful conduct by officials (the BDOs) and public representatives (Mukhiya Nimki), use and abuse or threat of gathering general innocent public by them in form of mob attacks and lynching. The latest episodes telecast recently indicate that Nimki et al is are as guilty and undesirable as Babbu Singh et al, and now, the battle will be fought between (1) a husband (Babbu Singh), whose dignity has been outraged by his legally wedded wife Nimki through not only her extra-marital relationship (please note the definition: “The adjective extramarital is almost always used to describe a romantic relationship or encounter that happens between a married person (here, Nimki) and someone (here, the BDO, Abhimanyu Rai) who is not the person's spouse”), but also through her attempts to abduct Babbu’s sister Sweety against the will of Babbu’s family and getting her married to the said BDO (two timing? How sinful?) and (2) a wife (Nimki) who is unfaithful to her legal husband (Babbu) and wants to eliminate him through hook or crook and establish her supremacy over him, even if it further requires to strengthen her extra marital affairs with any man – all for taking revenge from Babbu because he did not accept her love (?) and her rightful position as his wife. The saddest thing is that this battle will continue to rage on the turf of our homes of happily married people where the couple will sour their relationships through the heat and dust kicked through this battle. As usual, and as like in Mahabharata, all rules, ethics and scruples will be broken. The whole society is being poisoned, and will further be poisoned, all under the mask of the fake ‘Women’s Empowerment’. The worst casualty will be the man-woman relationship based on wedded love and trust, and the worst victim will be happily married women like us who strongly believe in the institution of marriage. The only person who could have stopped the Mahabharata was Lord Krishna, which he did not, and therefore, because of the curse by Gandhari, he and his entire Yadava Clan, along with the entire contemporary civilization (irrespective of the victor or the vanquished) got annihilated. In the instant case, our Lord Krishna, the Censor Board and Star Bharat TV Channel, can stop this serial and save the Society; but the big question is will they? After all, their moolah machine is ticking.

Nimki Mukhiya – the most stinking serial ever telecast. It stinks of cast war, extra marital relations, use of people for mob attacks/ lynching, and of course, disdains for the best and well established norms, practices and traditions of the Indian Family and Society. There is not a single character in this serial who can be even part emulated. The Role Model, Nimki, stinks like a skunk – though bold and brave, but highly brash and brazen, is extramarital, unfaithful wife/ lover, tyrant, despot, ready to punish anyone who shows dissent/disagreement, abduct/elope own family members/ friends, takes law in her own hands, vindictive and revengeful. She has no clues in handling socio-legal problems like rape/molestation, marriages/divorce. She, as evident, has the same solution for getting Diamond married to the girl molestingly victimized by him, on similar lines what Tetar Singh had for the Chirag case, which she had so strongly rebelled against. Even the dramas/ melodramas are stinking and smack of a conspiracy of the serial director to author-back Nimki against the upper cast Tetar/Babbu Singh. Are these all in the name of women empowerment? My foot! Stop the serial immediately.

I agree with Hemlata Singh. ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ TV serial is indeed the most stinking serial ever telecast. Its stink has further stenchified with vulgarity, shamelessness and obscenity, on part of all characters, and further exercise of extra-jurisdiction powers of the Mukhiya under the Bihar Panchayati Raj Act (the production team apparently does not have a competent socio-politico-legal research team, otherwise, the blunder of dealing with a divorce case by the village Panchayat would not have been repeated. In any case, where is the Sarpanch? Minor judiciary powers to undertake cases of willing disputing parties are there with the Sarpanch and not with the Mukhiya). But the most rotting contributor is the caracass of the re-entered BDO Abhimanyu Rai. He should have been cashiered (unceremoniously sacked and dismissed from service) for his disgraceful conducts (firstly, for morphing video clips with an intent to defraud as an election officer, and secondly, for abducting and eloping with a woman of his block while holding the post of the BDO), and other vices like corruption, partisanship, and of course, womanization. One wonders, don’t we have better officers than Abhimanyu Rai and Shankar Jha to discharge the functions of a BDO uprightly and impartially? Men and Women are inseparable part of a family/society. There can be no women empowerment without the concomitant empowerment of men. It is especially true for husband-wife relationship. This serial is trying to divide everything of the society: upper cast-lower cast, men-women, husband-wife, and whatever little left we have of our age-old cherished family and social values. I am an active member of many women organizations working for women empowerment, and I can vouch that what the serial is doing is not women empowerment. The serial’s telecast must be stopped because it is really stinking. There can never be a convincing end to such stories. Is raat ki koi subah nahi. May I quote, “Jis afsane ko anjaam tak le jana na ho mumkin, use ek khubsurat mod par hai chhodna behter.” Please wind-up and close the serial.
