StackSocial not sure what it claims I purchased.

In the description on my bill it says PP*SC* The DAILY BEAST. When I tried to call I was told you have no phone service which I find very hard to believe since I have seen The Daily Beast online for quite some time. If I did order something I want to know what it is. I unsubscribed from you site some time ago so this is strange to me. Thank you for your help.

StackSocial pdf element

This product is not a substitute for Adobe Acrobat Pro. Once I finally managed to download and activate the product, I opened my first PDF document to edit it and found that I could not align the cursor with the text, making editing impossible, hence "Edit the contents of PDFs" is inaccurate in your description.

I would like a refund of my Order #: 9439810.

StackSocial vpn service

Promised service was not delivered. Ordered VPN service 3rd of December 2017. According to their website, it should be fast and stable. In reality it is slow and unusable. VPN cuts out very frequently and I would have to reconnect. Whether I was able to reconnect was a toss up.

Stack social says they can't offer a refund. Obviously if they wanted to they could, but they don't. Would have respect if they would simply tell me they don't want to offer a refund instead of acting like they can't. Afterwards, no reply whatsoever. Left out in the cold.

In short: FALSE ADVERTISING. Promises of great VPN service. Actually horrible VPN service. Support refuses to offer refund even though service does not live up to what was advertised.

Do NOT use Stack Social for anything. It's hilarious they even act like they provide "support".

@Stack social: Hope you can buy something nice with my money, bunch of scammers.

StackSocial refusal to acknowledge or reciprocate refund request

On November 30th, I clicked on an ad for 85% off StackSocial online courses. Upon purchasing the course I did NOT receive the 85% off. Automatically my credit card was charged $199 for a Python course (Python 2 & 3).

I could NOT find anything on their site to contact them, i.e. phone number or e-mail. I left a message on their help. They didn't get back to me until a few days later. Although I gave them the order number they lied and said they have NO record of purchase.

After I immediately replied to them, they did not get back to me until a few more days. I responded another time immediately and even attached a screenshot of the purchase acknowledgment e-mail. That was almost a week ago.

I want my full refund of $199. StackSocial is a very bad business. They have virtually NO customer service. I am advising everyone to NOT get hooked in by them.

StackSocial expired licenses

I bought some courses a couple years ago with the intention of taking them later. Order # 2208442. When I tried to take them later, Stack said the licenses had expired .

Ok. It's fine that I messed up, and I'd normally accept responsibility and move on without complaint. Read the fine print.

Except... I can't find any fine print. There were no warnings anywhere on the page where it was purchased, anywhere on the list of my purchases, or the online receipt. The original receipt email says that some products may require another step, but it doesn't say that this step has a time limit. In fact the website and advertisements say the opposite: that you get unlimited access to the courses after purchasing.

Even the help page isn't clear about the consequences of licenses expiring. It says "it's best" to redeem them right away, and "the sooner the better."

They provide unlimited access, but that is *conditional upon* redeeming after 30 days. After which you are boned. I contacted the help desk and they confirmed I was boned, have a good day, Your Support Hero.

But you know what they do make clear?

No refunds.

So I won't even try. I'll just throw a negative review into the void of the internet. They're not a scam, but they have some crappy business practices. Everyone complains about fine print, but at least it's better than no warnings at all.

I don't care about the money so much, though it would be nice to get it back. Even better would be to get new licenses for the courses. Full resolution would be the website putting warnings about license expiration in their account history, receipts, purchase pages, or *anywhere the customer is likely to see.* Or send reminder emails if a purchase is about to expire. Etc.

I would say it's common sense that your courses would be expired after years have passed. I truly can't think of many businesses where this wouldn't happen. Additionally, while I do agree that their expiration information is incredibly vague (the most specific I found was "All license codes and redemption links will expire after 30 days"), the company's website is very clear about their 15-day refund policy.

StackSocial terrible customer service

Hmm... I have no words to describe my emotions regarding this company and their customer service.

People there are blind and deaf to your requirements and care nothing about you as well. It's sad not to mention that they promise the best service.
I received a wrong order and waited 4 weeks to prove they were wrong. Each time I wrote them they asked to send them pictures of the wrong order. No problem, I did.
Next time they asked for pictures again. Like they just deleted my previous emails. I am so tired of this.
Last time everything went through and they approved. So maybe I will get my refund soon.
But I will never forget this hard time you gave me and that's why you will never see me as your customer again. Goodbye.

StackSocial do not do business with them

I would highly recommend you to stay away from this place.
I am very disappointed that my first order turned into a big mess for me.
My issue is that I got a wrong product. A completely another one.
I called them asking to replace or to exchange, they said I have to return it first, but the shipping will be at my expense. Yes, it was expensive and I am sorry that your company doesn't cover these fees and doesn't stand behind your products and service.
Anyway. I returned the item and got no refund at all. They stole my money.

StackSocial beginners guide to cryptocurrencies

I bought the Beginners guide to cryptocurrencies course. It turned out to be a sham. I immediately began receiving spam related to all kinds of shady money scams. The course was nothing but a hard-sell for Steem, which is the worst pyramid scheme the internet has ever shat out!

The Stack Social website claims to offer refunds but leave the customer with now way to contact them for a refund of this type! They ignore support tickets!

Please do not ever consider using these scammers - they are simply riding a wave of naive new customers. The wizened ones have left already.

StackSocial vpn purchase

I followed an and and went to StackSocial to purchase the lifetime version of Windscribe on 6-9-17 because I am so happy with it. I am a senior citizen on a fixed budget and I have never before purchased from StackSocial and I should have been more careful but I accidentally got distracted from the $59 lifetime purchase and chose the $39 lifetime purchase, not noticing that it was a different product. And I did it before reaching the end of the ad and not realizing until after purchasing that there was a no refunds disclaimer. Then I considered trying out vpnunlimited even though upon reading the reviews I found it does not compare at all to Windscribe. I still have 18 months of Windscribe which I purchased through SharewareonSale. I buy a lot of software but I am so upset with myself for buying this one. I tried to log into the new software but I did not want to disable my Windscribe to do it and they treated me like I was a criminal. I spent about 2 hours with this. I then asked them for a refund and they said no. $39 is a lot of money to me. I feel putting the disclaimer of no refunds at the end of the ad is unfair. Now I know and I will not forget. It is apparent to me that VPNunlimited is part of the US government's crackdown on privacy and I want nothing to do with it. In addition it offers you use on 5 devices and I only have one.

StackSocial vpnsecure

On May 29, I purchased a lifetime subscription to VPNSecure from Stacksocial for $39, order number 6993032. When I attempted to use the product, it was unable to connect with the company's server(s)...instead it just displayed the endlessly recurring message, "connecting", and produced the same result on both my desktop and my iPhone. My very experienced IT guy was also unable to make it work and we wasted about 2 hours "live-chatting" with the online service rep to no avail.

After spending several times the cost of the product on my IT consultant, I decided to call it a day and emailed Stacksocial to request a refund, using the form on their website. It has now been 10 days and no reply. Absolutely terrible customer service!

StackSocial cannot return item for refund

I purchased a STRiiv smart watch from Stacksocial . I received the item and found it inadequate for my needs: the display was too small and the operation was complicated. I am 86 and I was unable to try the device before buying it. I tried to return the item and was informed that StackSocial does not accept returned items for refund when they are already discounted. As I had no opportunity to see and use the item for purchase, I find this policy unfair and only of benefit to this company.

StackSocial password boss premium

Company sold Password Boss Premium software that will not work on my computer and now won't provide a refund. I bought 2 licenses and redeemed only one.

The party line is if we offered refunds, customers could make purchases, redeem the assets, ask for a refund, and walk away with free software.

Well that's fine for the activation key I used but what about the one I did not redeem? They should provide a refund for that. Even of the software was at a steeply discounted price, maybe it needs to be if it doesn't work. Will not buy from them again. Customer service responded fairly quickly with no remedy.
