St. Rose Hospital review: Simply terrible 1

On a recent visit to Saint Rose Hospital Sienna Campus Las Vegas NV emergency room with my roomate who has chronic pacreatitus and has suffered from this disease for 7 years I saw just how little the doctors of St Rose care. In the ER test were ran to confirm patient was having a pancreatic attack which is a very painful experience. The Dr spent less than 2 minutes speaking with patient and did not ask any questions such as what medication are you currently on, what have they done in the past for you etc. We had been to this hospital several times in the past but had not been in 4 years and they claimed to have no records of the previous visits until I made a trip home and retrieved insurance billing statements that showed the treatments of the past. When I attempted to get this info to the Dr they then told me "he has those records." In short the Dr refused to listen to the patient and give the care the patient knew would bring relief(after several years of dealing with a condition you know what works for you). We tried several times to get a different Dr to see the patient without any results. As a matter of fact when patient refused the treatment offered and asked to speak with the dr 3 hours passed before anyone seen the patient even though I was constantly asking for HELP. The next medical personel to see the patient were the ambulance drivers who were transfering patient to another St Rose Hospital to be admitted as the hospital we were at had no rooms. We finally had hope that patient would see a diferent DR those hopes were quickly dashed. After admitting patient we were told all admitting Drs were gone until 8 am (this was at 8pm). Patient was never seen by a Dr and phone calls by nursing staff(God bless the nursing staff they at least tried to help) to Dr to discuss treatment were a dead end and we eventually left AMA (against medical advice) due to the fact that we could not get a Dr to do his job and treat his patient. I would not recommend St Rose Hospital to anyone the Drs do not CARE they do not TREAT and most of all they do not LISTEN to the patient all they seem to be there for is the money they make.
