Spotify music service

i am writing as i have now contacted spotify about 3 times with regards to money being taken from my account that i have not authorised, i have cancelled the direct debit but they are still taking money out of my account, i have emailed them 2/3 times since january 2020 i have tried to get spotify to stop, i don't even use spotify, but can't get any answers to my emails, or any way to stop them from taking money out of my account

Desired outcome: i would like my money plus interest back

Spotify Free trial code from Currys, but no confirmation or contact until started to get chargef

Dear Spotify,
I noticed on my last credit card statement a charge of £9.99 from Spotify in Jan, Feb and March and thought it fraudulent. However customer services advise a free 6 month trial ended in Dec and automatically switched to premium. This free trial was via Curry's code, but as we revived no confirmation that the trial was set up or any other email from Spotify since then, we did not know we had to cancel any subscription. I have cancelled the subscription now, but feel duped by the lack of transparency. I do not feel these payments were authorised. Any other subscription provides confirmation of the set up and length of free period. Perhaps this is a glitch with setting up through a curry's code? However I would like a refund of £29.97 for 3 months unwanted and unused subscription. Customer services advised all they could do was close the account.
I hope you can assist with this complaint.

Spotify Spotify charge of $14.99 2March

U have stolen $14.99 on my credit card.
Such CROOKS.
This was UNAUTHORIZED. I have never dealt with u. No wonder u refuse access.

Spotify Playlist feature

I make playlists for each month of the year, and I added some of Anson Seabra's singles to them. The first four songs show up in the playlist cover picture, and after his new album came out, each of those pictures (the cover art for his singles) were replaced by the album's photo. This was long after I made the playlists and added hundreds of songs, and you can't rearrange them without remaking the playlist, which takes a lot of time. I had specifically chosen those songs to color-coordinate within the picture so I was really mad that Spotify changed the covers. It's incorrect besides. Anson Seabra has not deleted those songs or anything so I don't understand what changed all of a sudden but I don't like how it looks.

Desired outcome: Change the pictures to be correct please. My username is MacyJohnson8. These are the playlists, in the photos.

Spotify Spotify

I received several emails that my account was accessed by Thailand, France, and United States. I attempted to access my account to change my password, but I received an email that I didn't have an account, so I tried to create an account, I received an error that there was already an account with that email.

This prompted me to I contact Spotify via chat since I received contradictory error messages. The agent said I should create a new account with a new email. How is this the resolution?

Desired outcome: I would like to access my account using my email and change my password.

Spotify Spotify Premium

I previously attempted to renew my Spotify Student membership (as you have to prove your enrollment into an accredited university/college); however, when I go to choose from the schools it will only let me scroll down until La Sierra University (Alberta)(Calgary, Alberta) an no further. The list is alphabetical and I go to the U of S.

Desired outcome: For my student Spotify to be reinstated (at the $4.99 rate)

Spotify Your lost!

You have a big decision to make. Some of your employees are seriously testing the boundaries of fair practice and rational thinking. I do not need faceless employees at your company to dictate what is appropriate for me to watch. This is absurd that a group of people have decided to be the moral compass for millions of people, without asking our consent. I have watched many of Joe Rogan's podcasts. Many disagreements on his stances, but nothing close to speech that needs to be shut down. You have to make a serious decision on having misguided moralists who have no concept between hate speech, and free speech. I think there is a clear narcissism and lack of broader observation from your "Moralist" employees. Progressiveness is always good, but not when you decide for others what is morally right. We are not dumb children that need to be protected and guided by Spotify. There is a reason why Joe Rogan has a huge following. To deny his platform is wrong. Did you ask the viewers what "we" think. No. You know what's best for me. Trying to make some power move like Trump. Get right! Do better!

this person sell spotify account and only works for 2weeks plus, the title said lifetime. when being ask why like that he reply very slow and until next day no help from him at all. he claim himself that he upgrade the account but there is no sign at all. bought 2 times from that seller only works 2 weeks plus. what is this? vpn problems? country problems? work only 14 days? this guy selling illegal spotify premium upgrade account. please acknowledge this guy and do not buy from him. its very funny when hypocrite say that he would help to fix the problem, instead nothing happen. mocking others stated they also were not being help. how is this a fair trade? you sell something but got a lot of problems?!

Spotify canceled spotify account being charged

You guys are crooks! Not only have I been charged $10.46 per month for a supposed "free" Spotify account for years...I canceled my account altogether on July 14, 2019, and yet I'm still getting charged monthly. I had to cancel my credit card today just to stop your bogus company from charging me anymore for a useless service I don't even use. Y'all should be in jail for fraud!

Spotify advertisements

Every time the "It's the last day to get Spotify Premium Though It Really Isn't Shhh!" ad plays, it plays three times, one after the other. This has been going on all day. Every single time one of these ads plays, it plays three times. I get that you really want to bludgeon me into submission and subscription, but this is a tad excessive. I accept that ads will play, but fix your own ads because they make me want to take a hammer to my own phone.

Spotify ads

Can you please change up the ads? They are the same every single time and it makes me really annoyed, especially the one that says, "Ask anyone, life goes fast, faster when you're older so don't close your eyes and come back when it's over young hearts leave it all, leave it all behind. I do not mind the ads for products that appear every once and a while because I understand I need to listen to ads with spotify free, but this particular ad is on every 10 minutes and it makes me want to not use Spotify.

Spotify non-payment of album'raw meat for jackals' which is being used without my consent.

Dear Spotify, I am writing to voice my discontent, as a musician and songwriter, regarding the use of my property, for your financhial gain, without my permission.You have a legal obligation to present me with a 'notice of intent' and without so doing, you engage in copyright infringement.To date, I have received no payment from you, thereby breaching the compulsory licence tenets, as I should receive payment on the 20th of every month.The name of our album is 'Raw meat for Jackals' and it has been used by your company since 2012.In Ireland, it is now impossible to make any form of living, as the pub scene is finished.Perhaps, through fair play, you can help us musicians who struggle to feed their families and help keep the music alive.Yours Sincerely, Eddie Doyle/Hazel Cloney.

Spotify playlist

I made a playlist full of Kidz Bop songs but absolutely none of them I put in and instead Chinese and Korean songs with also people like Taylor Swift and singers like her. This is really annoying I got Spotify to songs I like not songs I don't understand and then I get ads for Spotify premium even though even a basic playlist doesn't work as it should, solve it soon please I need music right now

Spotify I have been double billed for spodify music two months in a row.

Dear Sir,

I have been double billed for Spodify Music. I was double billed in April and May of 2018. I endeavoured to resolve this by telephone to Customer Service without any success. I was repeatedly transferred to an advertisement of which I did not need.

I am very disappointed this has happened once again. I expect a refund to me for each month of $10.95 (x2 months).

I expect a reply with resolution stated asap.

Spotify customer service

I contacted a Spotify representative through their "SpotifyCares" (LOL) Facebook page to help me deactivate my Aunt's account after she passed away. I did not have access to a lot of her information, so I provided a link to her Facebook page as the guy asked. A few days later her account was hacked by someone pretending to be me asking for money. I have never felt more outraged, betrayed, and hurt. One day this will bite you in the [censored], I will make sure of it.

Spotify cancellation of spotify premium

I paid for premium on 24th of each month. I cancelled premium because my benefits changed and won't be paid for approx. 6 weeks when I will take premium again.
I went on Spotify tonight at approx. 6pm on 23rd and found adverts had started when I expected to get a last few hours advert free.
My email address is [protected]@sky.com.
I would appreciate an explanation as to why my Spotify Premium was cancelled with a few hours paid for remaining.

I have been one of Spotify's biggest fans for 7 years. I've had a premium account for five or so, it's been my ONLY streaming device and never once have regretted it..until today. Recently I was logged out of my spotify account on all devices for no reason, and was unable to log back in, because my password was "incorrect". I could guarantee it was right but whatever. I couldn't change my password because I no longer had access to the email I used to create the account with (remember, this was 7 years ago). So I tried calling a spotify customer service number which ended up being a scam and almost lost $500. So no hope at recovering my account which is a graveyard of all the playlists I've created over the years, from my graduation, to my wedding, to summer of such-and-such year or christmas of year so-and-so. These playlists are very meaningful to me and I've lost them. Spotify, you really need to get a number that people can contact you on. Spotify has millions of users each month and it's ridiculous that people can't reach you when we have issues. I know theres been many who have been scammed just like I almost was, and although I realize this isn't directly Spotify's fault, it still really turned me off to the company. Apple music from now on I guess.

Spotify customer service: jeffrey daniels

On 2/26/18, I called into this Spotify Customer Service number: [protected]. I first spoke to Jeffrey Daniels. The past two months (January, Febuary 2018) I have been charged 9.99, but I am a student. So I was calling to learn how to get switched back over to the student discount rate $4.99, and Jeffrey was of no help to that whatsoever. He would not listen and answer any of my questions, and he got control of my computer, to where he forcefully was trying to get my to purchase a $50 Google Play gift card for some reason. He said it was part of the refund, but if you listen to the call I started questioning him and then his numbers didn't match up, and this left me distrusting that I was talking to an actual representative from Spotify. I honestly thought the call had been hacked and I was getting robbed. I decided to hang up and call back. The same thing happened with the second representative, as he tried to get me to sign up for bitcoin. Both calls were extremely sketchy, and I decided to figure it out myself. Neither of the customer service representatives would help to answer my questions on how to get back on student discount, and they kept talking about an email that got sent out in January that they could not resend to me. It was all very sketchy and left a very bad taste in my mouth.

If this is a new thing, the representatives should e able to resend me the email as proof, and every time I asked they got extremely defensive and aggressive in tone. Both of my calls with Spotify I would rate a 0/10 for customer service. Absolutely TERRIBLE.

Spotify spotify music downloads are deleted continually

Many Spotify Premium Subscriber's downloaded offline music is being repeatedly deleted. Spotify is aware of this problem, but is doing nothing to fix the problem. All they do is reply with a standard list of procedures to follow which does nothing to resolve the problem... clear Spotify cache on device, uninstall Spotify, download & install Spotify app. PROBLEM STILL NOT FIXED - then they close your trouble ticket.

Because of Spotify Tech Supports indifference, many Spotify Premium Subscribers are canceling their accounts because of this bug, and moving to other Streaming Music Services that provide downloaded offline music without repeatedly deleting it.

Spotify failed to follow through with cancelling account.

So on the 10/6/17 I canceled my account and got a email stating that they had canceled it and no longer had an account with them have emails to prove this. I was wondering where money was going so went to have a look and they had still been taking payments 6 in total one on the 29/6/17 another on the 29/7/17, 7/9/17, 29/9/17, 29/10/17 and again on the 2/12/17 i have statements to prove this i have tried to get in contact any way I possibly can but there's no direct email/phone number to get in contact with them now I'm pissed because I've spent my afternoon trying to get in contact as I feel ripped off and stolen from. This is not acceptable I rang the bank to see what help they could give me the only help I can get is canceling my bank card witch I shouldn't have to do as I am not in the wrong. I just want the account canceled and my money back.
