SportsDirect.com my dec 25th 2019 order

I am writing to complain about an issue with Online shopping.

I have already raised my issue within your organisation, but I feel that my issue is still unresolved, hence my need to involve you in helping to resolve this problem.

Here is what happened: I ordered some items to be delivered to me in Nigeria, based on the promotional advert that was sent to me by Sports Direct (SD), that they are taking orders to be shipped internationally for free (no caveat or clause was attached to the promo). I placed my order and upon arrival in Nigeria, DHL (their delivery partner) sent me an email asking me to come pay a sum (almost 75% of the cost of the goods I bought). That's a cost I am not going to bear if I had known before buying the items.

This is not my first time of buying items from SD and being shipped to Nigeria, but this seems creepy and a scam. . This happened on December 25th, 2019

Either they prevail on DHL to deliver the goods to me or refund my money back to me and collect their items back from DHL.

Please reply back via this email address, as I would like to keep all my communications in one place.

SportsDirect.com evoucher

Evoucher not received on the same day as stated on website. Emailed a number of times and a final email to cancel order after 4 days. No reply from customer service during this time. Also tried to contact by phone but message saying customer service phones are currently down. Voucher arrived after 6 days but was too late for birthday gift. They then replied saying they can't refund voucher after it was issued. I wanted the voucher refunded before it was issued. They responded very quickly to last email when voucher was sent.

SportsDirect.com non delivery

Waiting for a response
Dear Mr Ashley

Please accept my apologies for, coming direct to you but I Have not had my problem resolved via customer services and this has been ongoing for too long. I have been made to feel guilty by your customer service person who I Have dealt with.

I Ordered on 9th Oct goods to be delivered next day which I paid for.
Goods were not delivered next day as paid for.
Contacted Sd to resolve non delivery received DOR form to complete .
Filled in and returned.
Sent photo by 3rd party showing where parcel apparently was delivered which wasn't my address nor a neighbours either.

This Has been ongoing and to date no apology/ refund received.

I, am out of pocket as had to purchase another present no refund on this parcel and the time spent dealing with this matter . Compensation therefore is required.

SportsDirect.com rugby boots with the wrong size

The worst experience ever!
I ordered a pair of Rugby boots for my son on Sept 3rd picking the number 9.5 (43.5) from the size chart. I paid 10 € for transport + 46, 80.
I receive the package Sept 11th with the wrong item:
The box said 9.5 (43.5) and the boots were 10.5 (44.5). 9.5 is the UK number but I ordered what was in their chart when you choose EUR.
I returned and had to pay an additional 10, 5 € for the post.
They say it'snot their mistake because I ordered the wrong number since they are in the UK their reference is the UK chart.
When I complain about the money that I should not pay because I did everything ok they just send an email saying that they will return my money because the item is no longer available in the size I want.
They returned only 46, 80.
All the 20, 5€ I spend in transport they did not intend to return.

SportsDirect.com wrong product size delivered (mixed sizes, 37 & 38)

Good day..
On the below order... We just realised the order has been wrongfully sent. The box outside has 38 and inside it has 37..
One pair is 37 (right pair) and the other is 38 (left pair)
The skechers shoe are 2 different sizes in the box. See attached pictures.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to raise a compliant about my recent experience at one of your stores.

Amongst the 10 items which I bought at your store in Jersey on 11/05/2019, one of the items (Rollerblades) had a price tag of £19.99 on the box. However when I took it to the till, the cashier (who also claimed to be the store manager, his name is "Pedro Ross" according to himself) said the price tag was wrong and had to charge me £21.99 instead as per the system.

According to my experience, if a store makes a mistake on the price tag of an item, the store should honour what's on the tag (especially this is not a huge difference!). I suggested this to the cashier, however he said "if you didn't want to pay £21.99, you didn't have to buy it", which I found quite impolite to say to a customer. He also said "I'm the manager. There's nobody else you could raise this situation with."

When I said I would like to raise a compliant, I was given a form (hardcopy) and was told that there was no Compliant Box for me to deposit the form into once completed. I found this quite odd as well as most shops have confidential Feedback boxes for customers and only authorized personnel could open them.

I found my shopping experience very unpleasant at the store. I hope I will receive a satisfactory reply from you ASAP.

SportsDirect.com missing order product because they spend 48 hours to check/save my order products

Worse ever eshop experience I ever had, I made an online order and they kept money from instant payment and they needed 48 hours to check/kept stock availability and this cost me 1 item to be missing from my order after they they dont even ask you if you need anything else to add instead of missing product/s or if you still want your order or not, they charge me the same shipping as it was my first order even if 1 item was missing! When I complain after sending 2-3 emails I get very late reply! Worst experience I ever had on buying online, I dont recommend 100%

SportsDirect.com a worker in budapest arena mall

Yesterday my friend and I were shopping in the Arena mall in budapest and one of the workers made very racial comments towards me and he told me that only you foreigners do this. This wad because I was waiting for my friend outside and she was standing in line inside to pay and it was 9 pm so they were supposed to close. This kind of discremination is not acceptable. I didnot want to go public with this because this would hurt your store all over the world but I demand that you take actions towards him. He is a racist human being. I dinot know his name but he was the one closing the store on tuesday september 11th in the Arena mall.

SportsDirect.com non receipt of items

On 15/7/18 I placed an order with you APPSD40000048138178 to be delivered in 3-5 days. Due to these timescales I arranged to have the parcel sent to work. The courier text to say it would be delivered between 11 and 3 it did not arrive. Apparently they tried to deliver at 545 to a school! Then updated the notes to say I was on holiday! No more contact. I contacted them my chat to say could I have it delivered to my billing address they said to contact you to change it. I have done this twice and you sent me confirmation. They said you haven't contacted them. Today I check the status and the parcel wasn't showing up at all. Please arrange for this parcel to be sent to me immediately as this is not good customer service. I have tried to phone your office several times each each day to receive an automated message. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and would like my parcel with me immediately. Again this is the address to post to: Realm House, Heathfield Road, Bembridge, Isle of Wight PO355UQ. I have been more than patient and would like this investigating urgently. I recently purchased two pairs of addidas sliders one size 5 and the other size 9 both where reduced to £16 each but they were both on different offers the size 5 was 2 for £25 and size 9 waa 2 for.£26 but when i purchased them i had to pay £16 each how is this fair when they were both reduced to £16 when i ask at the paying desk they told me it was because of the sizes.

SportsDirect.com england shirt

I live in the US and ordered an England jersey, when I was ordering it offered on a drop down menu the choice of having a number and corresponding player name on the rear. Having ordered many Nike jerseys before I ordered the same size as I always have...large. The delivery took 3 weeks to complete (I ordered it with time to wear for the WC) but when it arrived it was very tight and was more like a medium or smaller. Apparently, because I ordered the more expensive 'authentic' team jersey, they come smaller than regular sizing. There was no mention during the ordering process that this was to be termed a 'customized' shirt (remember, there is a drop down menu for this) and although I returned the item straight away unworn and at my expense, Customer Service wrote (after my email to them asking for an update) that they were now returning the item back to me and they wouldn't change or issue a refund.
I suppose I am used to US based customer service as this would never happen here, they would normally bend over backwards to make sure you end up a happy customer

SportsDirect.com product the very wrong colour.

I recieved my lee cooper jacket today in which i ordered in navy for my son for school {which has to be navy} but as i was at work when i took it out, it was most certainly black not navy which was stated on the website, problem is that it costs more money to send it back than it did to purchase in the first place, last order i sent back last week cost me more than €30 which was absolutely shocking to say the least.

Hi. Can someone please contact me urgently. I have placed an order (you took the money) and now no one comes back to me. I went to the branch in Sutton, because Customer Service ignores me. Can I rate in negative! M [censor] pisssed off with their delivery system. Sport direct sucks! Such a poor online customer service. Whenever u call them they have high call volume and they don't let u stay on the phone. They just straight away asks u to call back n the line gets auto disconnected. The myhermes delivery people are bunch of stupid folks... They never come in the morning or neither they leave any contact number to reach them. I always order online and other courier people delivers my stuffs without any hassle. This is driving me nuts now... Please deliver my order either on weekends or before 9 in the morning any day. I have emailed sports direct customer service and the [censor] did not bother to reply! My friend is magazine editor and he is going to post sports direct true colours soon.

SportsDirect.com delivery

I made an order 2 weeks ago and it has been saying it is in hawks bay since saturday 9th december and i still have not received it. Ive always ordered from sports direct and never had any problems but on this order i have. Ive rung the couriers to find out anything and they have not received it. Ive emailed your customer care team and all ive been told is that your investigating it. That was 5 days ago i havent heard anything since.

ORDERED FROM SPORTSDIRECT.COM, EVEN PAID EXTRA FOR FASTER SHIPPING AND NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT, THEY DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. YOU CAN ONLY CONTACT SOMEONE BY E-MAIL AND THEY TAKE A LONG TIME TO RESPOND AND WHEN THEY DO RESPOND THEY SAY THAT THEY CAN'T HELP YOU. ALSO DHL LIED ABOUT DELIVERING THE PACKAGE AND HAD FAKE SIGNATURE ATTACHED TO DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND THEY ALSO STATED ON THE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION THE THEY DELIVERED THE PACKAGE AT MY RESIDENT THE SAME TIME THE PACKAGE ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT TO BE DELIVERED THAT WAS SCATCHY RIGHT THERE. DHL FRAUD DEPT YOU CAN'T REACH ANYBODY AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THEY WILL CALL BACK BUT NEVER DO. I HAVE SECURITY CAMERA'S AT MY RESIDENCE SHOWS THAT THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE PACKAGE AT THE TIME AND DAY THEY SAID THEY DID. WE HAVE NO ONE TO CONTACT ABOUT THIS SCAM AND BAD SERVICE FROM BOTH COMPANY'S INVOLVED. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

I have always brought your products but on this occasion I have only Calvin Klein under pants which I purchase from sports direct my most recent purchase I have only washed 3 times and 2 pairs are coming apart at the waist I took them back to sports direct and because they had been worn and washed they weren't interested and I don't think that's given your brand a very good name

SportsDirect.com items not delivered from online order

Order Ref: SD40000038785205. Order placed 30/09/17. 1 part of the 5 item order delivered on 05/09/17. Later found that I had signed for all 5 items in error but only received one. Have sent 9 emails and spent a long time on a call to customer service explaining the situation. Only had one response by email which was not helpful. On the call was told I would get a response in 24-48 hours which never came and that I would have to wait while the warehouse was investigated by the security department. The items were apparently picked and packed in one parcel but this was not the case; I received a pair of boxing gloves and no shorts or vest tops. So Sports Direct have taken my money but have failed to deliver the goods I have paid for, This feels like I have been hoodwinked. I don't have my items and I don't have the money I paid for them. This is awful customer service - the worst I have experienced for some time and not something I am used to from high street/online sellers. I had lots of items in my Wish List and Basket which I was waiting to purchase, I am a regular buyer from Sports Direct. Now I am reluctant to ever purchase anything again unless this is resolved with some compensation for the inconvenience of having my money taken but nothing provided for that sale? Extremely unhappy.

SportsDirect.com late delivery

I purchased an order online on Monday 11th Sep 2017 @ 17:50.
Order Number SD40000039148299
I paid the extra money for the next day delivery service.
I received an email on 12th Sep 2017 @ 06:59 confirming my order had been collected by Hermes courier.
Consignment Number [protected]
The parcel did not arrive on 12th Sep 2017.
At 08:56 today 13th Sep 2017 I received an email and text message from Hermes confirming the order was out for delivery with them.
I emailed your customer services @ 10:18 today to query why my order was late and that I should receive a refund for next day delivery. They emailed back 5minutes later saying the order was out for delivery.
Hermes tried to deliver the parcel at 11:45 today but no-one was in. We had waited in all day yesterday.
I have emailed customer services 2 more times throughout the day questioning about a refund but no-one has had the decency to reply.
I would like some-one to contact me regarding this as it is very poor service, especially the fact that no-one has responded to my emails.
All I am asking for is a bit of courtesy and a refund for the service I have paid for which I did not receive.

Today, about 2h ago, I was at your store on the High Street in Scunthorpe, I saw a pair of running shoes I liked, tried to get some help from your employees and except for one young man who was really busy but took the time to call his colleagues through his radio no one else even bothered, they literally walked past me and ignored me. This kind young man went on his radio a few times trying to get someone upstairs to help me, this went on for over 20 min, me standing there with a shoe in my hand waiting, one other girl came over, attended to another customer and told me she would be right back, never to be seen again! I would understand if it was busy but some employees didn't seem to be bothered, I am really disappointed because I was a good customer, my son and partner too, and now I doubt we will ever be back in your store again.
