I recently purchased a pedometer from this company that on top of the initial cost charges $99 per year for dues. They track your steps online and it is a very good product. However, this company does not have a phone number, and therefore no reasonable way to get in touch with a live person. The website claims that my membership has expired, even though I have in my hands a receipt proving that I paid them in full for a full year long membership. How can I dispute or resolve this without taking them to court?

you should direct your questions to the owner but i heard through the grapevine that the company will cease to exist after july of 2009 or will at least be gradually drawn down after that date.

a google search returns this link:
and notes the president of the company as being a mr. harry heslop and a search on that name returns this:

that link returns this phone number and email:
Phone: +1.4079732797
Email: harry_heslop@msn.com

i would imagine that you could probably use a variation of the name in the sportbrain domain to? say harry_heslop@sportbrain.com or harry.heslop@sportbrain.com? send a couple of test mails and see if one sticks?

also this number comes up too http://www.pumatelecommunications.com/tv-references.htm
