Spirit Halloween sexual harassment

My daughter is working at the Spirit Halloween store on George dieter in El Paso, Texas. She was promoted to assistant manager on 09/05/2018. As of today her pay is still showing her making the $7.50 and has not been increased to the $13.00. She brought it to the attention of the district manager and she has yet to do anything or change anything. Another thing is her Manager has made sexual comments through text and has made comments about them having a drink sometime when she is only 18! My daughter feels very uncomfortable around him and told the district manager about which she responded if it escalates to let her know. This is more than escalated this manager is over 30 years of age and my daughter is 18. How can you allow for a person like this to work for your company. How far does this have to progress before action is taken. Please contact me immediately [protected]

Spirit Halloween western native american headdress, adult feathered chief native american costume, toddler little chief native american costume

To Spirit Halloween,
Though this petition is only signed by a hundred or so concerned citizens, the petition only reached a small number of people - through my facebook and that of my friends, and one activism account on Instagram. I believe that for such a large proportion of those exposed to this petition to take the time to go online and sign it is quite significant.
We recognize that your primary goal is (understandably) to generate profit and we respect this. We simply hope that with this small gesture, as a reminder that communities of all ethnicities and backgrounds do not stand behind (at least some) of your Native American - themed costumes, namely your headdresses - that you would consider pulling a few items off the shelves (to be named later).

A few thanks and congratulations:
Originally this petition centered on the "Reservation Royalty" costume which has now thankfully been re-named - one of the reasons I have shifted the focus to only headdresses.
I've also been taking a look at other minority costumes, which are less, to use internet slang, ‘problematic'. Kimonos, for example, are simply a traditional Japanese clothing, so as long as one wears one respectfully, the general Japanese population would not be bothered. And speaking of going about it respectfully, I'm impressed that I didn't see any fetishised Asian costumes on your website, which is great considering how often other companies or sectors of society do so.

We understand that creative re-imaginings of cultural outfits isn't a black-and-white, right-or-wrong issue. And the difference between everyday ‘sexy' outfits and fetishization of cultures is really hard to distinguish. For this reason we only are requesting that these three items be pulled from stock:

Western Native American Headdress
Adult Feathered Chief Native American Costume
Toddler Little Chief Native American Costume

Spirit Halloween this is terrible

I wonder how you're still operating treating customers that way.
I ordered several items 1, 5 month before Halloween and haven't received anything anyway! It's unbelievable.
I desperately needed those unique decorations as every year we have a contest in the neighborhood. Thanks to you I was excluded for not having special decorations hanging on my house.
You may keep them to yourself now, just send my money back, please

Spirit Halloween customer service via 3 phone conversations, which got me nowhere.

Called # on website, to get # for local store, to be sure of local store closing time, due to another customer's complaint that they closed later than web read. 1st call, I was spoken to by a woman whom sounded as if she would rather be anywhere else. She gave me # for local store. I called #, which an auto-voice told me #didnt exist. Called again, repeated # back to same woman, she told me it was correct, so I called it again. Same recording of # not in service. Called, 3rd time, spoke to same woman on toll-free #, she rudely told me, "Well, that's the only # I have." I then asked, "Whom else can I call to discuss this, then?" She abruptly hung up on me!

Spirit Halloween return of item / and very rude managers

My husband went in to get me and item while I was at work and he got the wrong item while he was there the cashier asked would you like the receipt yes he should've taken one but he said no I went today to exchange it and I told the manager what happen she practically called me a liar on what happen and wouldn't let me exchange an unopened item at this point I know not to buy from you guys because of the coustomer service you guys provide .

Spirit Halloween trick or treat bucket

i ordered my grandson a PJ Masks trick or treat bucket from SPIRIT HALLOWEEN, and the estimated delivery day at the time of order was for today, Oct.25. i have received the confirmation email but no shipping email. when i track the order online, nothing shows up, and when i sign into my account it shows no order history. i called the customer service line and left my phone number for a callback, but never received the call. i called back and was on hold for over 20 minutes. when the electronic recording finally came on it said my call was unable to be transfered & i was disconnected. the online chat is unavailable, and at this point i just want to cancel the order, but apparently that option is unavailable as well. i am very upset! this company's customer service is a total joke. i will NEVER order from this company again!

Spirit Halloween non-existent customer support, online orders untimely

Ordered a costume for express shipping so I could get it as soon as possible, and the site lists 1-2 business days of processing before shipping, and a grand total of 4-5 business days for express to deliver. It has now been 6 business days and the order is still listed as "IN_PROCESS." Attempting to contact CS leads nowhere as no one ever responds, as I have tried to reach them for the past three days in every single format possible (even through Facebook!) and all I get is "There are no team members available" or "There's high contact volume, try again."

This is utterly ridiculous, and I would refrain from using their website as they seem incapable with dealing with online orders. If they do have people employed for customer support roles, those people need to be fired. Or they need to hire more, as this is the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. Because it doesn't exist.

This is not the worst part, the worst part is that my daughter keeps asking me when her costume will be coming in. I told her I don't know, and she asked if it will come in before Halloween, I told her I don't know. She then asked if it we can go to another store and a costume. I told her no, and to leave me alone She started crying so I slapped her across the face. Unfortunately I hit her harder than I thought because when she went to school her whole face was red and her teacher knew that someone hit her. She asked my daughter who hit her and she stated that It was I. Her teacher contacted CPS because I have done this before. Someone really needs to fire those incompetent workers who made me hit my daughter. Either that or hire more people. I would not have hit my daughter if I was not angry at them.

Clearly you are trolling because no one would be foolish enough to actually have any empathy or compassion for you after you admitted to being a child abuser. You obviously have an incredibly short temper and need therapy. I hope your daughter finds a safer home and guardian.

Spirit Halloween never again

I ordered two costumes for me and my daughter (Adult Round Em Up Cowgirl Costume and Kids Warrior Native American Costume), about one hundred dollars worth. At first, I got a confirmation email stating that the delivery date is scheduled, they will contact me soon. On the next day, they really called and scheduled the delivery on the 1st of October. On that day I got a call from them again and was told that the delivery was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, the next date is unknown.
To say I was shocked is like to say nothing. I asked for a refund, they refused, saying that they will deliver, only not sure when exactly. It's now 12th of October, the situation hasn't changed. I wonder why the hell I need the costumes after Halloween.
Terribly disappointed...

Spirit Halloween hocus pocus sanderson costumes

We decided to do Hocus Pocus theme this year. I tried to order them on line and use the coupon for $50 off if we spent over 200.00. I kept getting the run around on line so I went to the store in Panama City and the customer service was horrible. They acted bothered and annoyed so I ended up ordering 1/2 on line and buying 1/2 in the store. When my costumes came in the mail one of them didn't ship so I called to see where it was. They didn't know. After getting the run around and several phone calls later they said they couldn't find it and was now out of stock. I am very disappointed and will never order or recommend them again.

Spirit Halloween customer service

Elyssa at the Rocky River, Ohio location was very rude and made us feel unwelcomed she was also very rude to her coworkers. She made me feel like I was unable to return my items. She was just all around awful. she was on her phone half of the time and talked with a terrible attitude . I take customer service very seriously and she was talking about us while we were standing right there. Halloween should be a fun time, and she made my experience terrible .

Spirit Halloween management

Unfit for managment, our manager sits in the back on her phone 80% of the day makes all male staff members do most of the work and talks of firing them behind their backs when they talk to each other about store products or asks for assistance with their task. They choose favourites and gives them choice over their shifts while other will only work a day or two, or will get short shifts or random timed shifts throughout our work week

Spirit Halloween the workers and management

This complaint is about the Spirit store in Tupelo, MS. My family and I have always shopped here every Halloween. We look forward to them opening. Well that's over. We will not be spending one more penny in this store! We have already spend a considerable amount of money this year and tomorrow its all going back for a refund. I'm sure that's going to be a nightmare!
Today we went to spirit in Tupelo, MS to buy some more Halloween stuff. My grown daughter was bumped and dropped a nine dollar candle she was holding. I ask if she had to pay for it and the cashier was on the phone to the manager, who mind you was standing at the back of the store, the cashier proceeded to tell me that it was not store policy, but out of kindness she needed to pay for it so it wouldn't come out of their paychecks. I was livid! We will never grace that store again! I will make sure everyone I know hears this story because if you go in there and accidentally break a $500 monster well I guess your just screwed! So disappointed. If this is how they run a business well I hope nobody shops there ever again. And I am sure that they will give me the run around on my refund. I will just donate the stuff they won't refund for whatever reason. I don't even want their products in my house. I'll order everything from another company!

Spirit Halloween assistant manager cussed me very rude

A girl named angela was very rude to me at register name tag said manager took five minutes to ring me up didn't act like she knew what she was doing and cussed me under her breath as i was walking away. She wouldn't help me or didn't greet me the whole time i was looking she stood behind register with fellow male employee talking i tried to ask for help and she more then less ignored me and said she wasnt familiar with what i was looking for. This spirit store was the most unprofessional unknowable place of bussiness ive ever been to and wont be coming back

Spirit Halloween no information about order status

I have ordered two kids costumes from www.spirithalloween.com website long in advance. It is now October 13 and my order wasn't even shipped yet! I placed my order in early September! When I contacted customer service they assured me everything was fine and said that I'll get my order on time, but they were not able to tell when will they ship my order. Recently I sent a message asking about my order status but did not receive a reply. I even asked for a refund but they ignored me. I guess I have no other option just to wait. Hope I'll get my order, but even if I will I will never order anything from www.spirithalloween.com again!

My order has been in transit for some time with pending delivery as status. I was told to call back and I have 3 times but was told as long as FedEx updates the site with current status there is not much I can do and they won't do anything for a at least 5 more days. I spend $300.00 and they can't do anything for me. Are you kidding me. I wanted to purchase another item for $300.00 but will not put that forward until I have some satisfaction with this order.

Spirit Halloween no order, no refund

I ordered two costumes from Spirit Halloween website in early October and it is now February and received nothing yet! What a joke! I even paid extra money for a two day delivery. When it did not arrive I contacted their customer service and was put on hold for about 30 minutes. Their rep said that she could not track the package and offered me $40 refund (shopping fee). I was also told to call USPS. So I called USPS ad was put on hold! What a surprise! Anyways, after another 40 minutes of wait I was told that they never received anything from Spirit Halloween. And now, these thieves are ignoring all my messages and calls, they never even refunded me $40 as they promised! Scam!

Spirit Halloween my costume missed several parts and there were holes on the costume

Scam, scam, scam. I ordered Halloween costume from the website www.spirithalloween.com. I was really disappointed in the quality and attitude. I got the costume, but it missed several parts. I wore it and noticed several holes, and there was no fabric at all. How was it possible? I wonder if there are other people, who faced the same problems? Please, post comments about your experience with them.

I was working there. It’s spirit Halloween all the store manager and ever since we started working there at a couple of employees does still hasn’t gotten paid till this day. I’ve been talking about contacting the general manager and she still hasn’t got these employees checks and it’s been over two months.

I went to the spirit Halloween on county line and Yosemite, and I didn’t get her name but she was acting very odd, she asked me to donate $500 to some type of children’s thing and then told me that if I complained she would take a picture of me and post it telling people to not sell stuff to me? All I bought were wings?..

My Halloween event was a sparkling delight, great costumes and accessories, including totally cool decorations to deck out my house. Customer service is top notch with super friendly and knowledgable employees to assist you. Thank you Spirit Halloween for a job well done!

Spirit of Halloween ruined my Halloween party. Their promise with extra pay for 3 day shipping order placed on 10/22 my costume still isn't here my party is 10/27 tracking says it won't be here till 10/29. Customers service is the worst I have ever encountered.
Whoever is running this company should be fired! This is not the way to do business.

These people are rude, customer service attitude is the uncaring, the worse ever. This company sets up in your neighborhoods, takes your money, closes up and moves on. No notice given of nonrefundable dates. Beware and stay away from this company! Especially the one on Buckner and Garland Road, Dallas, Texas!
