I agree with breeder. I have a Mela that I purchased from Purrbalds and he is very well going on 5 years. I picked him up as Dash now named Happy, both names fit him very well. My husband and I are looking to buy another! Looking forward to another very very soon! Thanks Purrbalds for my happy guy.

I have a cat that was fathered by Purrbalds Spartacus, this cat now has HCM at age 4. AVOID backyard breeders

And furthermore...I was NOT looking for and money to be returned to me..I never even eluded to the fact. I just wanted to let her know about the situation if giardia ...since she never contacted me to tell me that this may be going on...not certain how in the heck you could miss it! Poor thing had horrifying diareha that could clearer out the entire home! Fro DAY ONE...so I contacted her to let her know of the situation so she could promptly deal with the potentially deadly parasite.

BEWARE!

This breeder I would NEVER purchase from her again! I paid a LARGE sum of money for a male altered kitty odd eyed whom I paid for breeding rights just to have neutered because I was willing to purchase this odd eyed beauty to own as a pet ...I had no interest in breeding...with that said...that cat came to me with a horrifying case of giardia. I contacted the breeder regarding the positive results from the veternarian to make sure she knew to contact other customers as this can be a common problem in catterys. Her response shocked me! She said that it did not come from her place! Well being that is the ONlY place other then the inside if my home ...I think not. She was rude and dismissive. I contacted her later realizing my cat was also deaf. I wanted to alert her so she could know for future breeding. Her response: " I hope you are not mad at me." I paid 4, 500 plus travel expenses for this cat good thing I was not planning on breeding this cat! The unfortunate thing here is that if I have questions or concerns in the future regarding my beautiful cat I adore I do not feel comfortable reaching out to her. I also have concerns in general if these small situations have caused her to be so unresponsive/dismissive...I hope I don't have future issues such as HCM which can be seen in this breed of cat. I do not trust that she has spent the time to care and screen parents for future healthy cats...I love my cat...but if I would have done my research more on this breeder I would NOT have purchased for her. I am disappointed. In my opinion she is not an ethical breeder. She has never once taken the time to follow up with me on placement of my cat.

I got a male kitten from this breeder and when i picked him up at the airport he was sneezing and had crusty eyes...obvious that he had a URI. I called Lora and she said she had no knowledge of him being sick, but I brought him to the vet and he had a respiratory infection. He did not get it from my house, he had it when he arrived. It turns out he has calicivirus and herpes which he had to have gotten from her cattery and he has many flare-ups and probably will for the rest of his life since these are viral in nature.

Aside from the viruses, he had continuous diarrhea no matter what I fed him. It turns out he had Giardia (an instestinal parasite). He was treated for that and he continued to have diarrhea so the vet suspected Tritrichamonus phoetus (sp?) or T-Phoetus for short. It is a very difficult parasite to eradicate and the only treatment can be very toxic to the cat. You even have to administer it with gloves on. This poor cat had a poor start and it is due to irresponsible breeding. I have a clean house and no other animals so the only way he could have been exposed was at the breeders. Fortunately the T Phoetus is gone and his stools are normal because I decided to treat him with the Ronidazole.

It does worry me that if they were that neglectful with these issues, what other problems may be lurking in the future for my kitty. I try not to think about it and love him evey day while he is still with me. He's now almost 2 years old and is a beautiful, handsome, funny smart and has the best personality on a cat I have ever seen. I love him dearly. I give them that much...they breed really sweet cats...and beautiful too!

I do not know what was or was not wrong with the cat the woman posted a complaint about. I'm giving my opinion about the quality and health of two cats I purchased from this breeder. I have one blue eyed white(Dinker Do) and one greened eyed white (Getty Lee), both males. They were 2 1/2-3 months then, they are about 2 years old now. The are loved, adored, and the center of attention in our home. It was obvious they had been well cared for by the breeder. I didn't notice that one of the kittens had worms until some time had passed. When I became aware of it, I immediately called my vet and the problem was taken care of. I did not attribute the issue to lack of care or concern for the cats health on the breeders part, nor do I believe the breeder was aware it. Sometimes these things happen. Both of my cats are healthy, energetic, and as you'll see from the pics I've posted happy and care free. I think they are both beautiful and a true example of what bald white should look like. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another cat from this breeder in the future.

I have to defend the breeder. I bought two kittens from Linda, on two separate occasions, and both were happy and healthy. She even drove from her home in St George to Baker, CA, to deliver the first kitten I bought from her! She didn't even charge me for that!

This lady is only pissed because she thought she saw an chance to get her money refunded. The cat was never taken to the vet until a week before the guarantee expired a year later. I spoke with the vet and she provided a letter to me confirming their was nothing wrong, all test were NEGITIVE! This lady just wanted me to replace with a kitten so she could sell it to someone in Russia, assured me she would need no health guarantee... RED FLAG! If this cat is not fit to breed or sick in her opinion, they why is he advertised for stud service on this website http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/1725091.html
If there is a problem it's from neglect in her part but with lack of diognosis I don't know who in their right mind would give a full refund or replacement kitten. Shes a scam artist BEWARE! BREEDERS please don't make the same mistake I did... save yourself some future trouble... DO NOT SELL TO IRINA CRUDU in BROOKLYN NY!
