Speedway customer service

I came in on Sunday to get Gas and, I when in and requested $20.00 regular give the cashier my Speedway card and swipe my credit card the cashier then walk away. Another cashier came behind the register and I requested a receipt not realizing my gas order was still being process cancel the transaction . Now my credit card already approved the transaction. when I try my card again it wouldn't go thru because of the canceling and re-swipe, because I have protection on my account. I was worried about the situation and wanted to make sure my account wasn't being charge twice or that I was being charge and didn't use the card, since I had to used another card.

But the most upsetting issue of all was the behavior of the cashier when I comment on how she should have finish my transaction before she walk away. This cashier started to get very threatening, I believe this kind of action isn't something a person dealing with the public should be allow to get away with.

I purchase my gas at speedway every week, but because of this incident I plan to take my business some place else if this situation isn't deal with.

Speedway customer service

At the location at East 9 mile and Eastpointe Michigan between 430 and 5 o'clock every morning I get coffee .On 10/15/18 Monday morning the cashier was rude no greeting no interaction no hello or goodbye just stared at you and took my money For the coffee. This morning Tuesday, October 16 same employee short build heavyset African-American male Very rude unacceptable customer service.

Speedway racism and discrimination at speedway in wilberforce, ohio

I went to speedway in Wilberforce, Ohio on Saturday, October 13. There was a homecoming going on at the college, central state, which is a predominantly black University. I use this gas station often as my children are in school here. The doors were locked and there was a sign saying no public restrooms. There was a lady at the door allowing one person in at a time. When I asked her why this was happening, she said it was for their "safety". I asked her from who was she afraid for her safety. She stated "them, these people". I said "excuse me, what do you mean?" She said she had to protect herself from the people at homecoming. She also said that was the reason for "no public restroom sign" when I use the restroom all the time. HER NAME IS TIA. I am sickened by this blatant display of racism and discrimination. I will be taking further action.

Speedway 24 hr store store closed

Stopped at the speedway on 116th Street and Allisonville rd in Fishers, IN at 10:45 pm. I was told by the cashier that she was closing after she unlocked the door for the gas attendant and could not let shop there. It touts that it's open 24 hours and suppose to be a convenience store, but there was nothing convenient about it. So why is it closed for business during business hours? Is it false advertisement?

Speedway customer service clerk

I was in your establishment on sandy ridge rd in greensboro /colfax nc on october 8, 2018. There was a worker there that is very very very nasty and rude. It is a tall female she had a braid in her hair. She was very rude to the customers. She told one man that was fixing a hotdog not to be making no damn mess. Told one man that was going to the bathroom not to get so [censored]ing close to her. Told this lady she was getting on her nerves. Now i stood in line and watched all this. And since i stood in line so long to get my gas I just went ahead and got my gas. I will never come back to this establishment. I have coworkers that have came here and said they will never come back here because this lady is so very rude. I dont want her fired but I do suggest you get her some type of customer service training. And or reprimanded in some type of way. From my understanding she is a assistant supervisor. Which can not possibly be correct. Cause no one in their right mind would ever make this lady in charge of anybody with her fowl attitude towards the customers. This lady is a black lady tall. I am also a black woman so this is nothing racial. She also was being rude to other black people and my white coworkers. I guess she has no preference on who she is rude to. Thank you for your time.

Speedway service at the register

I need to know y it is that at the Richmond bypass location only the line starts at the door only one person at a time is allowed at the register like it's a bank or pharmacy
I have been a loyal customer for years now and after this morning of getting into it with the workers and the customers because no one has the [censored] to step up
If things don't change I will be taking my money elsewhere to spend
And I will be taking all my workers an vehicles elsewhere

Speedway customer service

I made a complaint about a manager at Speedway in East Pointe, named Kim. I heard from customer complaint center and gave specifics about how she rude she was to customers. The next time my husband went in and she was there, she knew we had complained and she told him to leave and called the cops. She was informed of our complaint bc I was dumb enough to give them the day, time, etc when we were there, BEWARE do NOT bother complaining just never go back.

Speedway air

Speedway was one of my favorite gas stations after they had bought out hess they pretty much kept the same business format.
Air was free the same price for credit card or cash.
So today I needed air for one of my tires and I was going to fill up my car with diesel
I pulled up next to the compressor and then I saw it was a dollar fifty for air, I drove away disgustedI don't think I'll be able to look at another Speedway gas station the same way again
I hope the $1.50 was worth losing a lifetime customer because you just did.

Speedway gas pump

Hello! I am VERY UPSET! I just stopped and got $8.08 worth of gas and it asked me if I wanted to purchase a car wash. I selected "Yes" and I selected the $11 dollar wash. After I was finished pumping my gas, no receipt printed out. So I received no code to enter at the car wash. So I approached the after hours window box and told the Speedway employee what had happened. He basically told me that they have been having issues with the pumps not printing receipts. I asked him if I could at least get my $11 back since It didn't print out a receipt and I didn't get to use the car wash. He said that there is no way for him to refund my money. He told me I could come back tomorrow and talk to a manager and they may be able to help me. I have the transaction on my speedy app showing where I purchased eight dollars worth of gas in $11 car wash, and I also have a picture of the pump showing eight dollars where I got gas. He showed no empathy for me. What bothers me the most is he had no regard to the fact that I just lost $11. I am beyond mad because I spend a lot of money per year at Speedway. This is ridiculous. I want my money back. And this employee needs to be talked to. You can't tell a customer that there's nothing you can do for them. And the way he talk to me was very condescending.

Speedway employee an store manager

Today my son an I went to Speedway in Southbend on 6161 w Brick Rd [protected] The management was beyond an I cant stress beyond enough rude as the cashier was as well here's what happen we stopped at the gas station to purchase a pack of game cigars for his father my son turned 18 on October 2 2018 we are from Tennessee so we have Tennessee Id's the cashier of course asked for id thats his job too my son gave him his Id an the cashier said if this doesnt scan I cannot accept it my son says ok he scanned it and it scanned then the manager stepped up an said i still cannot sell these to you for what reason i dont know so i got in line to make the purchase an the manager said i cannot sell you tobacco products for that young man i asked what do you mean that's my son he's 18 you already know that an I am 38 she still made a huge issue so i just left I would appreciate something to be done about this I am a regular customer of your stores I never been treated so poorly in a Speedway ever I look forward to hearing back from you

Speedway an employee named charles

This was about an hour ago the Third of October 2018 about 2:30 a.m. at Speedway on Broad Street in New Castle Indiana 47362. I asked my girlfriend to go in and get cigarettes. She got carded for cigarettes she did not have her ID. She came out and told me and I went in to buy the cigarettes. He would not sell them to me I asked why and he said it was second hand sales. I told him I have my ID or driver's license. He was rude and told us to leave he also told my girlfriend that if she brought her ID back he would not sell her cigarettes. I know that is against the law. His name is Charles. I asked him his name he was rude and told us that we had to leave. I'm going back with her ID to buy more cigarettes and if he doesn't sell them to her or I there will probably be a lawsuit. You need to get rid of people that are rude, and act like they own the place

Speedway manager at speedway 3901 n dixie dr, dayton, oh 45414

This happened today October 2, 2018 at about 7:10am. Go into speedway and get what I need to get. There is one cashier and there is a manager cleaning up and making coffee. The line starts to get really long, practically out the door and the manager is not caring less and not helping the cashier. He is focused on wiping down the counter and making coffee when there is plenty ( the coffee bar was practically full) when it was brought to his attention that the line is getting really long by a customer, the manager ignores it and continues to wipe down counter. He finally gets to his cash register and starts complaining loudly that the customers can wait and the we are not important and mocking us saying, " We better hurry and help these customers because they have to get their kids to the school bus." And he was also using foul language and throwing his scanner down and also saying that his kids are more important than the customers. Which I get, but his kids are not there, we are. I was in a hurry to work so I don't get in trouble for being late and I am trying to get to work so I can take care of my kids. This is not the first time this manager has been uncaring and rude to his customers. He previously has stated, very loudly for everyone to hear, " Oh they aren't in a hurry to be anywhere, they can wait." Everyone in that line looked at each other like his was crazy. His customer service is appalling and I would like it to be addressed.

Speedway price fraud

On October 1, 2018 at 7:25 p.m., I stopped at Speedway for gas. I noticed the signs for soft drinks. All the signs including the video at the pump said "20 oz soft drinks buy one get second for $1." When you go to the coolers it listed all the drinks 2 for $3.00. So I picked a fanta, pepsi and a vernors. Presuming that one would be free. Yet when I went to the register, one was $1.00. But he manager Nate approved an additional tax on one of the drinks. He did not clarify which one. He said the soft drinks had to be the same. I pointed out that it was not noted on any of the signs. I did not buy any of them, due to false advertising and charging an additional tax on one drink. It did not appear right especially when the manager could not explain why the differentiation. I took a picture of all the signs outside and and on the coolers.

Speedway possible theft/fraud

I cashed my payroll check then stopped in to fill up my gas tank at your Speedway. I went inside to pay for gas with $100 bill (s) which is all I had besides a $5 and some $1 bills. I asked for $30 in gas and handed the $100 bill to Cashier/Manager, Laura Gilbert, she handed me back a receipt but, no cash. I turned and exited the building and tossed out the receipt in trash can outside, then realized she didn't give me back my $70 in change. I returned back inside the store and approached her at counter, I told her that I paid with hundred dollar bill and I didn't get my change back. Another cashier (Mamie) was there, too, Laura acknowledged that she did get a hundred dollar bill from me, but, said she gave me change back, which didn't happen. I showed her all the bills in my wallet and it was hundred dollar bills, the five and some ones. She explained that the drawer would be counted down the next day around 12 noon, and asked for my name and telephone number which I gave her, she in return wrote down her name and #[protected]. She said she would call me the next day. I looked for the receipt but, was unable to retrieve it. I went home and explained what happened to my wife, and she asked why they couldn't count down the drawer then to determine if it was over. So, later that evening I attempted to call the number she had written down, and got a recording saying the number had been disconnected. My wife and I talked about the situation and decided to go back the next morning. When I arrived the line was long and when I approached her I explained that I was in yesterday and there was an issue with not getting back my change. She then said to me, "oh, I thought I recognized you". She asked me to wait a minute and she went into backroom, and asked Mamie to help with ringing out other customers, she was the same girl that was in yesterday. When Laura returned to the counter she had cash register receipts in her hand and she stated that it looked as though she gave me a $50 bill and a $20 bill as change. I again opened up my wallet and showed her the same bills that was in there yesterday. I have worked 7 days straight working 12 hours days, and this was my first day off since, I told Laura that I haven't been anywhere to spend any money except to buy gas since I cashed my check the day before when I stopped and got gas. She said the drawer had not yet been counted down, that it would be a little while, but, she would call me. My wife went into the store with me and she told Laura that the number she wrote down for the store had a recording saying the number had been disconnected. Laura dialed the number on her phone and it rang into the backroom. Laura said that their system was down most of the night that's the reason why there was a recording. Again, she said she would call me once the drawer was counted down. I told her ok, and we left the store. As we drove down the road my phone rang, it was Laura telling me to return back to the store, that I could come and pick up the $70 dollars. It had been less than 5 minutes since I left, and I was under the impression that the drawer needed to be counted, and she never said it was counted yet, just to return and pick up my change. When I went inside to get my change I noticed that Mamie gave Laura a very strange look, then I remembered that Laura had made conversation with me the day before about how this was the 3rd Speedway they had moved her to in a short period, without reason. I'm wondering if Speedway has other complaints about her dealings with handling money... I think I made her nervous and that's the reason she called me back so quickly and had to return to get the change, again there was no mention that the drawer was ever counted down and it showed it was either over or short, she just gave me the money back. I'm grateful that I did, but, if I had not been persistent in returning and questioning what was going on, I don't think she would have returned my call with any findings. I think she should keep your eye on this one, she's quite the clever short change artist, and I think the other cashier is onto her, that's why she gave her that look.

Speedway cashier

I was in store 0008527 Greenwood, transaction number 6124680 with cashier Matthew M, on 9/29/19 at 11:41:37 am he was nice except I hadto ask for my recipt and my speedy rewards slip he said he usually just threw them away and I knew this time i was due for a free pepsi. It just upset me that he was going to throw my free pepsi away or keep it for himself and he acted like it was a real inconvience that i asked for it. Just wanted to let you know so it doesnt happen again and to other customers.

Speedway general manager

Hey, I'm an current employee for Speedway employee number 862892. I am sending this complaint hoping to resolve my issues with me and my store manager before making the complaint me nd April had several conversations and I've even talked to my DM, well recently I reached out to him and got no response. My issues with April is she don't know how to talk to employees and she's a bully. She think she's the only one who have personal issues outside of work. She don't care about anyone but herself. I come in everyday and I never once called off, I'm here when I'm suppose to be here I even stay late at times to get tasks she have left completed because if I don't complete them I get rude text messages on my off days asking why her cooler wasn't done or etc. I'm a hard worker and I just made my 1 year mark before coming back to Speedway I was with the company 5 years and I never encountered the issues I'm going through now, at this point I'm feeling very uncomfortable because I know what kind of person she is, I've seen her bully other employees and even heard her say she don't like this employee so she gonna make them quit. I'm feeling like my job is endanger and I shouldn't have to feel that way. I come in everyday and I'm posting all her invoices which is really messed up because a lot of the times she's checking these vendors in and when I'm going to post these invoices things are missing and I'm stuck trying to figure it out which make my job even more difficult when I come to her with my issues she says I'm being a crybaby to other employees and me and the other Amt did all her weekly counts I thought my job was to do what she can't do not do it because that's just not what she do she's not a team player at all. I come in early when she need me to and when people call of I have to stay. Yesterday [protected] I was suppose to work 6-4 well the employee she scheduled to wrk 4-11 didn't show up she claimed April knew she didn't work Tuesday's and Thursday's bt yet she still put her on the schedule so I didn't leave at 4 she told me I had to stay til 8 and I told her I had already made plans for when I got off and she said she was sorry and it was out of her control, she is a Gm she runs the store I don't think it's fair that I have to keep sacrificing all my plans to stay and work when she's not doing anything to help the situation. I suppose to get a weekend off once a month I don't get that I have to request it off I don't think that's fair at all. She plays favorism with other employees and allow othe csr's to make other people job more difficult when she's the boss! My dad been missing for months and I've still been able to come here and do my job even when it's difficult for me she don't care about anyone problems but hers she want us to bend over backwards for her when she got things going on bt she won't do the same

He was very rude I come in there all the time he act liked he didn't wanna help me at all his name is nick he told me he works at another store and this not his store he just didn't care any store you at rather just helping out or watever customer come first if he didn't wanna help out he should of stayed where he's at but I will never come back if he's there honestly he rude and don't care

Speedway rude staff named kim

I always buy something anytime of the day for snacks and some stuff in speedway. And, crews and cashiers, especially Kendra is very accommodating and she practices customer service the best way she can.

But, this one night, 25th September 2018 11pmish
I bought 2 packets of cigarette Marlboro red 100s to be exact, which I usually do, And, after telling her(KIM) what I want. I respectfully ask her if she could do me a favor because I am needing change for my cash money for my nephew's school tomorrow. With my money (two 20's) and my card on other hand, she said "I don't know if I could give you change honey" while proceeding to grab one of my 20s and opened her cash register up then said "I am sorry honey I cant and I don't have". She handed me the change, 7 dollars.

Admittedly, I felt irate and bad not only that I don't have the exact money that I needed for my nephew's school next day but also, SHE DIDN'T ASK ME IF I HAVE A SPEEDWAY CARD TO AVAIL THE PROMO AND I AM SUPPOSED TO USE MY CARD FOR PURCHASE not the cash money WHICH I NEEDED VERY BADLY. I walked out after I asked for my receipt for she did not ask me if I want one or not.

Then, I went back inside to purchase A Freeze and this TIme I used my other $20 for payment. Then she gave me a change to it. Then, I cannot help but to ask her, why she didn't ask me if I will pay cash or credit the first time when I bought the cigarette packets. Then, she suddenly told me "don't tell me how to do my Job" and blatantly said "GET OUT OF MY STORE" I told her, "this is not your store and I told you that I did need that money for school tomorrow, and you were supposed to ask me if I am going to pay cash or credit" there are much more exchanges of statements which I cannot remember. And, before I walked out I asked her for my receipt. Then because I am too upset and irate I said the B word simply because she was sending me out of the store for doing nothing violent merely just complaining of her irresponsible delivery of customer service.

I have attached the receipt as proof of my purchase and proof that This is a legitimate instance.

Speedway my money network card

iv been calling trying to have them activate my network card, store number 7743 i quit because of the drama, and they haven't done anything with my card, i get paid Wednesday, and how can i activate my card? so i get my last paycheck, i call everyday and the manger is never in, they act rude when i cal and ask about it, even tho i quit they should still pay me for working them days

Speedway customer service

Hi I am a frequent customer at a speedway in Indianapolis at the Mann Road location. I went in one day and asked where an employee went the manager Jim said oh I had to fire her because she was stealing money from returns! I was like oh really I really didn't need to know that information I just asked where she was. I thought it was very inappropriate for him to give that information out because I know that is a HIPA violation! Also the same manager Jim is all the time making very rude comments to employees in front of customers which is also very inappropriate. He comes still worked with a chip on his shoulder complaining about his wife and his problems at home like we are a customer we don't want to hear his problems. He is also complaining about the freezer so he just says the f word and says I'll just let the customers go back there and get what they want I'm tired of packing that freezer! He also comes to work looking very rugged hair greasy not combed and unshaven with dirty clothes on ! I just don't understand why a Speedway gas station would have someone as a manager representing their company with this kind of attitude and revealing information of other employees to customers. He also doesn't have his employees clean the store very well there's sticky all over the floor there is very dirty stuff between the soda machines but it is a really dirty store for as busy as it gets. And I think it is very inappropriate or employees and the manager to be counting their cash register and have cash laying all over the front counter for anyone and everyone to grab. I do not understand that concept why is he allowing an employee and himself to put money all over the front counter when the store is very busy you just don't know what people are going to think and do at that moment Please get this store cleaned up and sending manager that actually appreciates his employees and the store instead of telling customers other employees and former employees business! Please take care of this matter because I consider this a bad representation of customer service thank you have a great day you're loyal Speedway customer
