Do not use this company. I flew into Fort Lauderdale and needed to take a shuttle for me and my family to Miami to board a cruise. I scheduled the pickup a few days in advance. They were an hour late in picking us up from the airport. The car was a Navigator. There was no logo, or any sign of a company. It's like someone just decided to drive their personal car to pick us up. Once we're in the car they didn't know where the Hotel was. I had to pull out my phone and use my GPS to guide them to the Hotel. Of course they wanted me to pay for my return up front too. Considering their track record I was nervous about it. My cruise was for 5 days and they have a stipulation that requires you to cancel 5 days prior to the pickup date. I gave them a shot on the return as well. They wanted me to call them when I arrived at the port and went through customs even though I had an appointment. I followed their direction and told them to be there on time anyway as I had a flight to catch and time was of the essence. Of course when I arrived at the port, they weren't there. Deja Vu. I called them repeatedly and got a voice-mail. They don't have a switchboard. I waited another 45 minutes before I just jumped on another shuttle that was there waiting. Some 16 year old finally called me 30 minutes later saying that they were almost there. I didn't have the patience or time to wait for them. I paid for a service that I didn't even use. Don't use this company. If you need a shuttle use Go Shuttles from Fort Lauderdale. They were organized. They have a booth at the exit of the Airport (with vans pulling out every 10 minutes), and they are cheaper than South Florida Shuttles. They didn't even know who South Florida Shuttles were. On the way back from the port of Miami, there are Shuttles that will offer to take you wherever you want as well. The one that we took was $60. I gave the guy cash and never looked back. Again. Don't use South Florida Shuttles. I believe that they go by Sunshine Shuttles as well at least that's what my bank statement says.
We pre-booked a pickup at Miami airport for 10:00. After many phone calls, each time promising they were almost there, they arrived 2 hours late. It was very frustrating and disappointing.
We pre-booked in Australia at a cost of US$130 to go from Port Everglades to West Palm Beach airport. We phoned as soon as we exited customs from our cruise ship and they said they were on their way - about 10 minutes. After waiting nearly 1 hour and after another ph call, a van finally arrived ! The driver said he only got the call 10 minutes earlier (i.e. after our 2nd ph call), we were waiting in the hot weather and needed to be in West Palm beach for an ongoing flight. We would NOT recommend this company, and after complaining via email, they didn't even have the courtesy of a return email. We could have easily got a taxi from Port Everglades to West Palm Beach for $US60 or a reliable shuttle bus which were readily available but we thought with so many people needing transport from the port, we should pre-book - a mistake not to be repeated!

We had 7 people to be picked up at 10:15 am as promised (already paid) from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale airport to catch a flight.
First we got a call from one of their drivers saying he would be there in 15 minutes. They then called and said they would be another 20 minutes late due to traffic . 20 minutes later, we got a call saying they would not be able to get to us and we were on our own. Horrible customer service! I asked to talk to the Manager and the person that answered the phone said he was the Manager. He told me to just go and enjoy the beach. Not a very smart Manager, he knew we had a flight to catch. Luckily, our hotel management staff was able to call us 2 cabs to accomodate 7 people plus luggage at an added expense of $90.
Use them at your own risk. I'm a heavy traveler and certainly know the difference between a reputable and well run company and an unreliable one. I would also not write a review about a company and hurt their reputation unless the service, or lack thereof, was so egregious that a complaint had to be given. If we all sit back like sheeple and take the terrible service we are provided, then nothing will ever improve. This company has no clue.
I have been using South Florida Shuttle since 2009 and they have been very good so far. Cars clean prompt service and they are located in fort lauderdale area. As a Travel Agent I will always recommend them. I have seen several times when people don't read instructions or don't understand what an affordable shuttle service is?

I can't agree more..they are ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE. We were a family group of 6 and had an 11:00 a.m. pick up..at 11:00 a.m. they call and say they will be 1h40 min late ! This is outrageous as we had a confirmed time to be picked up at our house. We ended up having to find 2 cabs to go the the port. The return was even worse. We followed the instructions..first no one answers the phone, finally someone does and says they won't be sure when they can pick us up and to call when we cleared customs..5 min. later. I called again and the idiot says we have to find another way home as they don't have a van...family of 6 - we needed again 2 cabs and if anyone knows how it is when you get back from a cruise - it is mayhem. DO NOT USE THEM. That advise is a gift if you read this before you book.
I used this company booked in advance was told would get a confirmation by email NEVER received it, had to pay in advance with tip included should have known something was up right then, they were and hour and a half late picking us up at the hotel. then drove like a bat out of hell to get us to the cruise on time. the van was a mess, the cover over the seat belts were falling off, on the return from the port to the airport called when got off ship was told 10 minutes, yea that was about 40 minutes later, driver called asked what ship we got off of told him said would be 2 mins. he called back said was there, he was at the wrong ship, also the female that answers the phone is the most RUDE person, she should not be doing that job, she acted like we were imposing by calling and when she finally gave us the dispatch number didn't bother to ask if we were ready to write number down, no customer service skills at all.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY. we used them because we wanted a private shuttle. worst decision ever. DON"T USE THIS COMPANY
I used them just a few months back and had no problems. Driver picked us up from the hotel parking lot and took all of us straight to the Port. I think we are talking about the same company, but I used a new site www.fllshuttles.com so they have definetily improved. Carlos Perez c.perez97@yahoo.com

Within minutes I was picked up by a
friendly, young man who took me to my
hotel. He was very helpful in telling me
some great restaurants in the area and
some local shopping. I will absolutely be
calling them back on my next visit.”
