buffalo wings & carhop service
A friend of mine went to the Hartshorne Sonic and ordered Buffalo wings. The carhop didn't read her order back, she received her food, there was no fork, mp ketchup she asked for, the carhop gave the customer her food and change, then said" Is this my tip? That is so rude! The order had to be repeated to the switchboard operator several times. It made the customer very angry.
oreo and m&m blast, wrong order also
On March 16th around 7:00 pm and ordered an Oreo blast and m&m blast in the drive thru and once I had left I realized there were ZERO toppings mixed in. Only a small amount sprinkled on top. I returned on March 17th at 5:00 pm for drinks and ordered a large and was given a small. I asked what did I pay for and was told a small (no receipt to check) and not offered to correct it.
drinks and food
I went to the sonic, tried to order my food they were yelling, asked me to repeat myself 6 times & talked over me. They were very rude over the speaker. they put maybe 3-4 different people on the speaker. When we got home the plain sprite was a brown color, the sweet tea was unsweetened, and the cherry vanilla coke was watered down. It looked like tea, but tasted like watered down coke. Our tater tots were wet and our toast had black on it. None of our sauces that we paid for were in the bag. I'm from southaven and we have pickle-o's at our sonic but i am currently in waveland, Ms and tried to order some at that sonic and they were so rude about the fact that they didn't have them. I will never be back to that sonic or any other sonic around this area. It was the worst experience i've ever had.
burger and tots
First off I ate a tot and noticed it was old grease, then we tried our burgers and found them to have cheese on them, didn't order cheese it makes the burger taste terrible . They asked us if we wanted them to take the tots back and my wife asked if they were going to change the grease, they said no. So much for the tots I told them I would just keep the burger since we were traveling. Over all a horrible dining experience, thanks sonic
strong marijuana odors in drive thru
Went to one of my favorite places that I love because of the variety was disappointed with the constant marijuana odors that hit my face 2 out of the last 3 visits and I'm currently unsure whether to return. The staff is so kind polite and seems to always do their best to accommodate my needs however I'd rather not have my children and passengers experience that as no one should.
Perhaps your as mistaking the smell of "marijuana" at this location with Henry the skunk. He frequents this location, as the employees have been continuing to leave scraps behind the building for him at night.
the manager that worked the night shift at 6pm
I went to the Sonics in Aiken sc on Richland ave and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at this Sonics I ordered my good with details of how I wanted it then it still came out wrong upon the food being wrong I got half of my order and was told that I would have to wait for the tater tots when the young lady mentioned that I asked her how long would it be because I didn't want to be late for work upon bringing the tots they didn't put in three only 2 I informed her that I was missing a order of tots and now to have to wait again I know that I was going to be late the manager comes running out to my car accussing me of hiding tater tots implying that I was hiding food for free ones...mind now that I come to this location with my grandkids and my own children for relaxing I don't mind spending money for my entertainment with family but for her to threaten to call the police on me for tater tots was very upsetting and then when I went to ask for the manager so I could speak with she comes to the door very rudely saying she was the manager... I am a regional general manager and to have some one like her work for your company is very bad for business her attitude was awful I will take my business somewhere else
drive through and customer service
I stopped by the sonic on Peoria and 51st ave on 03/10/18 at 4:30pm. My drinks did not taste right so I told a employee that they didint taste correct and If I could speak to her manager and she went and got the manager. The manager came out and didint ask What the issue was or if she could fix the problem she just took the drinks and refunded my money and threw all the drinks away in the trash in front of me. She than wanted to still charge me for the drink I had forgot in my car (since there was 4) I couldint carry them all. I waited 10-15 minutes total being there complete waste of my time and was very dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of interest in finding ways they can improve service in the future the cashier number is [protected]
order delivery
On Wednesday March 7 I visited one of the sonic restaurants (502 N Belt) in st Joseph Missouri. I ordered 2 chicken strip meals with 4 drinks. After a bit it came up on the screen the carhop was headed my way. After about 10 minutes I seen the carhop go out the door going the other direction with an order that looked like mine. Pretty soon he came back with one of the meal boxes open. I watched him and he went inside and put it back down in the bag. Then he came in my direction with the food he had delivered to someone else. I told him I didn't want that box that was delivered and opened by someone else. He tried telling me it was a different box and I told him no it wasn't because I watched you put it back down in that sack. He smiled at me and I told him I wasn't paying for it unless they made me another one. He took it back in and when he delivered the new box and we got home there was only about a teaspoon of gravy in the cup. I go to that sonic all the time and that was the second problem in three days I had. the first one was waiting for 15 minutes for a glass of tea and they weren't even busy. Made me late for work.

I have visited the Sonic located on Washington Road in Evans Ga three times within 5 days. I order the exact same thing each time. Yet, the order has been wrong 2 of 3 times and the total of the order has been different all 3 times.
My order is simply a bacon cheeseburger, PLAIN, and with no bun, and a cup of ice water. Yet one order I was given the burger on a bun. Today I was given the burger, no bun, but it had lettuce and tomato on it, which I specifically requested to be left off. I even make it a point to say, I only want the burger, cheese, and bacon. Nothing else. 2 of the 3 visits, I've not been given a fork to eat the burger with. I've never been charged for water, yet today, when all of a sudden I'm told that Sonic charges for water, the order is 10-20 cents less than the 2 previous orders. Of the 3 orders, one was $4.98, another $4.88, and the third was $4.78. Again, I order the EXACT same thing each time.
My last point of this complaint is that I do not understand how just a plain bacon cheeseburger is almost $5! Seriously? There isn't much to the burger for it to be worth $5.
I will not be returning to this location.
I also attempted to complete a survey, however, the survey asks for an ID code on the bottom of the receipt. There is no ID code on the bottom of my receipt.
food/unhealthy
I order a couple of hot dogs from Sonic on yesterday and the bread that came on the chilli cheese hot dog had mold on it. This is very unhealthy, I couldve end up sick or someone else because of this problem. This has mostly definitely changed my opinion on Sonic, which I once upon a time loved. But, this has officially changed it on how they keep their food, sanitize, and teach their employees how to serve a healthy hot dog!
horrible customer service
I am a frequent customer here at my local Sonic and I have always been treated very well, that was until today when I had the worst experience and will probably never go back again. The thing I cannot and will not accept is to be treated like a incompetent person and to be laughed at, and that is how I felt I was treated today, the manager on duty was the one who delivered my food and she was very very unprofessional and honestly I cannot believe she is a manager cause she lacks all the qualities a manager should have. Her name is Jonie and please do something about this before she ruins another customers experiebce. Thank you for hearing my complaint
slushes
I frequent Sonic's on a regular basis. Customer Service for the most part is phenomenal, with some exceptions of course. I love the idea that you are continuously upgrading your menus. My problem is that I always ask for the Lemon-Berry slush (which consists of a real lemon slice). The more I explain to the operator this is what I want it is never the same thing. They are always serving me with a Lemonade slush (which is overbearing) and add strawberries to it. The picture is advertised on the board and it states Lemon-Berry frozen. It does not matter how I order it I always receive the Overpowering Lemonade slush with Strawberries. Please bring the "Old Fashioned" Lemon-Berry Slush back and retrain the workers on how to make it correctly.
ink on my food
We came to our local sonic for the $1.00 hotdogs on presidents' day and when I went to take a bite out of my hot dog there was ink printed on to it. I think your employees should pay more attention when they are preparing food for the customers. I have been in the food business and this would never happen if I was handeling food and serving to people.
coneys with chili & cheese
I ordered 2 chili & cheese with onions & mustard and 1 plain. I got 3 with chili & cheese. I called in for onions & mustard and she said they would be right out. They never did bring them . The girl who took my order talked so fast you couldn't understand her. They get in such a big hurry they cut you off before they get your complete order. This was at the Chickasha store at 3:15 pm.

This is worst experience I have ever had with any hamburger joint in my whole life. My wife got two burgers and the meat would not be good jerky let alone be classified a burger. I spent 13 dollars and got nothing for it except the trash and what ever eats the trash. I will never spend another dime in one of their place of business again. If I knew the main office I would send them this review also. Discussing burgers and a disgrace to offer them to the public. No to me again.

not possible to tip on credit card
I have eaten at several of my local Sonics over the last couple of months, and I am very frustrated that I am not able to leave a tip for the server on my credit or debit card. I no longer carry cash as a rule, and I am far from the only person in this modern age that has that preference.
I find it appalling that you make it so easy for average customers to stiff excellent service and so difficult for us to reward it. Please consider modernizing your credit card machines to automatically provide a tip percent like most modern restaurants that rely on tipped employees do.
horrible manager!
We ordered specialty drinks, which is what we simply love about sonic!...3 of them were wrong and so I called them back in to let them know and if they could fix them. Unknowingly, the manager, ben matthews was the one who took the complaint. He then proceeded to cut me off as I explained the dilemma & instead asked if we wanted a cup of cream to add to our drinks, since that was what they were missing. I wasn't aware that he expected us to obviously make our own drinks. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service & how he handled the situation. When I asked his name, he was very proud to give it to me with a smug attitude. Disappointing to see a manager tainting such a great establishment!
double cheeseburger
Last Thursday evening I ordered a double cheeseburger from the Sonic in Keller, TX to go. Once home, the patties where very hard and cold. They obviously had been a warming drawer way too long and were awful, not up to Sonic standards at all. I was hungry, and I ate only half the burger before I could not stand to put in my mouth. I got a stomach bug, diarrhea, and felt awful for the next three days. Tell your operators to monitor there beef and when they make a hamburger to make as if they had to eat it themselves.
lack of customer service and no supervision
On feb 10th at 2537 bemiss road valdosta ga 31602... on multiple occasions going thru the drive thru the black girl her name was ebony was very hostile and rude, this last occasion we had gotten our food and was missing some chili cheese tots and some regular tots when we went back up there with receipt in hand she basically acccused us over trying to get more food and being dishonest... another lady came out and diffused the situation and gave us the missing food... iv never left a bad review at a fast food place before but this is a small town and we have values and it really leaves a bad taste in mouth knowing this girl is working at an establishment that deals with the public... very bad for bussiness sonic!
banana split
After coming home and anxiously waiting to eat my banana split, I was very disappointed. I had eaten the end with the strawberry and then went on to the chocolate part. I went to take the spoon out with the chocolate and there was something hanging from the spoon. I took a napkin and pulled out a long strand of hair. Of course I threw the rest of the banana split away. I do not complain very often but now I am not sure if I want to continue eating at your establishment. Are not hairnets enforced? Sorry for the complaint.
