in May we went to smart travel and listened to a presentation for an hr and half to get the free vacation certificate. We was told we had a yr to use it as long as i registered it. The next wk i registered the certificate and it said we would get a email from them. In Sept i went to pick the vacation package and even paid the $100 deposit. I got a letter in the mail a few weeks later saying my certificate had expired so i called the number on the certificate and the guy told me that it was expired because i did not go to the email they had sent and pick a vacation package within 30 days. When i had told them the sales lady said i had a yr to use it as long as i register it, he stated i should of read the terms of participation on the back of the certificate.

I received a 3 day 2 night vacation to Las Vegas. The booking was burdensome but I did finally get a date. I was arriving in Vegas late at night just like the above complainant. The next day I spent in Vegas enjoying myself. Then I got up at 4:00 AM to get to the airport.. My 3 days 2 nights turned into 2 nights 1 day. The airline tickets were 2 or 3 stops each way and made for a long travel day.

Before I accepted the travel plans, I asked about an earlier departure from home to Las Vegas and a later Departure from Las Vegas to home so I could have a 3 day 2 night vacation. I was told that was possible for an up charge.I was not happy.
