I purchased a Emerald Crown full size bed from you Nov 2007 during black Friday as a gift. I picked up the bed Dec 2007 it was not delivered. In October 2008 my brother called me and told be the box spring had broken. I drove over an hour to get to my mother's home call Sleepy's and report the box spring broken. An inspector came out and declared that it was a manufactures defect. I was notified by voicemail that the bed was going to be replaced. When I called customer service to find out the details I was told to go to any Sleepys to replace the bed. When I got to Sleepy's I was told that they could not exchange the bed in the store and that I needed to call, which I did while at the store. The delivery was scheduled for the following day 11/6/2008. At about 7pm I received a call from the delivery driver asking me in I knew anything about a COD of $90 which I was never notified of when I contacted Sleepy's. I then received a call from Sleepy's telling me that I needed to pay the $90 and that I was unable to pick up the bed myself. Further more I don't understand a company not willing to stand by its products. It is ludicrous to believe that I should have to pay $90 CASH for damage that was not my fault. Its is also ridiculous to believe that I keep $90 cash stashed in the broken bed I purchased from your company. Trust that you have forever lost a customer and that I will not recommend you to anyone. It is dishonest and immoral to sell products that you won't let you grandmother sleep on. Stand by your Products.
