Skyscanner flight booking

Time: around 22-2330 Hong Kong time
I put in the search engine of two flights: London Stansted to Barcelona and Lisbon back to London Stansted. The cheapest option appears as Ryanair (direct flight) and Eurowings (flight with one stop) and I have double checked it. Yet after I paid and refreshed the page, it appeared as both Ryanair company and the difference is about 500 Hong Kong dollar with both DIRECT FLIGHTS. It is a waste of time and a disappointing experience when a company can make such a critical mistake. I am quite sured that I have been spending some time trying to find an easier option for myself for a direct and shorter flight.

Thanks for the link. Yet it is not useful at all regarding refund, cancel or change booking. The procedures are rigid and not user-friendly.

Skyscanner flight cancelled by british airways

My flight (BA 034) on 18th August has been cancelled. I am seeking compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 for this disrupted flight. The amount to be given is 600€uro (accordingly rules defined). I was trying to contact directly the airline but they said I have to deal with Skyscanner since my reservation was done through your online site. Skyscanner flight booking

I booked a flight early friday morning and have received no confirmation email with flight details
The flight is a short booking as it is urgent and important i be back in ireland next week
i booked and paid for the flight on skyscanner using Vamaya from a list of results.
I have emailed them several times and have had no response they have listed a phone no but cannot use
flight details

I have checked my bank and the payment is approved (I cant stop payment)
I have used skyscanner many times before without any problem i hope this can be resolved speedily as there is a short window to my flight

Skyscanner car hire

I recently booked Car Rental with Skyscanner, [protected] on 29th July 2017, choosing a rental company (RentalCars.com) for a short break in Dublin. I chose this provider, as it scored 10 out of 10 on your what's included rating. I was refused a car at the rental desk, as the Rentalcars contract did not provide even the minimum insurance cover required by law in Ireland. As a frequent renter of cars, I have an annual excess policy, so I never pay any extras on car hire, but the RentalCars.com contract was not of merchantable quality, as it did not allow me the service that I had paid for. As such, I was left with no option to pay an extra 85% on top of the contract I had taken out (on a 10 out of 10 policy for what's included) just to be able to get a car.
I am speaking to Rental Cars about a breach of contract, but I also think that Skyscanner cannot highlight Rentalcars as 10 out of 10 for what's included, as the cars are not available to hire without incurring crazy additional charges.

Skyscanner booking

Hi
I booked tickets via skyscanner last month. It said on one transaction wasn't success and did not charged me. I did the booking again and bought my ticket. But it turned out you charged me twice and you made me to buy 2 tickets. One was £160 and the other one was £170. I did not realized this until I did not get my bank account details. Would you be able to transfer back one of the ticket fee please? I am really disappointed off course and not just because of loosing a lot of money but how does it happened anyway?

Skyscanner re: refund

We went on to your site to book a flight from ho chi minh to siem reap . We booked this on the 26th at 8.30 am and the flight was at 1.40the booking reference was ([protected]) the airline booking reference was (JBGTBT). The different option for airlines/agencies to book with we chose opodoo the flights were £288. We revived a confirmation email of the payment going through but we did not receive our tickets the website states you should be issued these within two hours. When we got to the airport with that reference number they said they have no record of myself and gemma amanda Murray booking. We then had to pay for a new flight so we are now down £288 which we really expect to be refunded for.

Skyscanner air tickets

I am trapped with eDreams,
I booked a Multi city trip through skyscanner on 26th June 2017, unfortunately I booked it through eDreams, ref. VSE8MU - VSE8NB - VSE8MW . The customer services was unhelpful and give me diffrent information . I was surprised that the tickets are unchangeable /nonrefundable and i can't change the names also, if I am going to make any changes to the booking they want to charge me more than I paid for the whole journey. As I am stucked with them to cancel my flights or to change it with a resnable fairs, all I found from the customer service is twisted information, I didn't book any nonrefandable or non changeable tickets and when a I called Britishair ways they informed me that the fees for change is 60£ each ticket, also I paid more than 55 £ charges a because of their call center fees ?!

I can't get any help from them .

Skyscanner bravofly

Just purchased one roundtrip adult ticket Nov. 20, 2017 SFO to EWR (Alaska Airlines) and Nov. 25, 2017 JFK to SFO (Virgin America) using Skyscanner and being directed to Bravofly. after giving them ALL payment information a message flashed saying "booking has not yet been confirmed" and "do not attempt to re-book" but I NEED TO KNOW I HAVE THIS TICKET, it is for a holiday weekend so if necessary i must find an alternative ASAP. i called bravofly's USA number and nothing happens, no ringing, nothing. i am now holding for bravoflys 24 hr customer care +44(0)[protected] and have been on hold for 15 MINUTES so far waiting for an operator. i always use skyscanner and never had a problem but now i will no longer trust your site. you should not send people to companies with deceitful business practices! if bravofly has already taken the funds withOUT providing confirm, that is ILLEGAL!

Skyscanner company called rehlat

I booked an Qantas flight through your website, being directed to Rehlat. They took my payment of 6, 490AED then immediately told me my booking was unsuccessful. I called them asking what the problem was and they said the tickets were no longer available. I now had the choice to either pay an extra 1, 100AED and fly with British Airways or cancel completely and wait 48hrs+ for my money back. In the meantime though I couldn't book further flights as I needed that money back first. I complained to Rehlat many times but they kept disconnecting my phone call. After 2 hours, I searched the flights on Skyscanner again and 6 new flights with Emirates, operated by Qantas (including my original booking) were now being offered with Rehlat for the same price that I had already paid (6, 490AED). I called Rehlat again and asked them to change me onto one of these flights instead. They told me I couldn't have any of these flights as they cannot change the airline. I asked how they were able to offer me the British Airways flight for 1, 100AED extra and not the Emirates flight for the same price I had already paid (bare in mind that one of these Emirates flights was other exact same flight I had booked with them already). They told me they can move to BA because it is a different price but can't move me to Emirates because there was no increase in the cost. Basically a complete scam to get extra money off me. Anyway, I then had to go and book the flight elsewhere in the end, at a cost now of 7, 555AED. I am absolutely disgusted that Skyscanner is using companies like this. How are they able to take money without confirming availability first and then refuse to put me on a flight of the same cost but offer a much more expensive one. I have not received my refund yet, I have had to borrow the 7, 555AED to book my new flight and have incurred extra costs of 1, 065AED, yet these flights are still on Skyscanner for the original price I paid. What will you do about this? I originally booked my flight with Rehlat at 14:05 today. I have attached a picture taken at 19:56 today showing the ticket at the origins price of 6, 363AED (they add on 127AED to use a credit card, also disgusting). Regards Lisa

Skyscanner flight booking - email confirmation never received

To whom it may concern,
I have booked two flights on 16 May 2017 on skyscanner, since there was not a direct flight from Malta to Mykonos. However, i received only one e-confirmation 're to flight leaving from Athens to Mykonos.
Two days before we were leaving Malta, me and my boyfriend went to the Malta International Airport to ensure that we had a booked flight from Malta to Athens, as from the bank statement the detailed payments amounting to 227.21 each were made to Alitalia. However, when we checked with the Alitalia customer support she told us that we were not booked with Alitalia. We also checked with other airlines, however, no one had our names booked. Thus we had to book a flight with Turkish Airlines which was very expensive since we bought the tickets 2 only two days ago.
I have sent skyscanner through their website attached with a screenshot of the bank statement, However, I have not yet received a reply.
I hope this matter is treated appropriately and we receive the necessary funds as soon as possible

Skyscanner flight booking (missed flight)

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this formal complaint in total disgust about what happened tonight at Auckland International airport. I along with my wife Telesia and my two sons William and Sheldon arrived at the airport for an early check-in for a 10:40pm flight to Rarotonga. We arrived there at approximately 8:20pm. As I searched through the departures notice board, I realized that our flight showing up as JQ129 had already shown as departed. I immediately reported to the Jetstar helpdesk to query about the notice. At the desk, I was informed that we were late and that our flight had departed. I began to investigate and ask questions further but was then told that it was rescheduled to depart earlier at 8:20pm instead of the initial departure time of 10:40pm. My wife and I were very furious at this point in an attempt to find out what had caused the mishap. The airline checkin staff then searched online and advised that an email was sent out to me and a phone call was made advising of the reschedule. At this point, I informed the staff member that I had received no phone calls nor a single voicemail. As per the emails, I still maintain my plead that I received no single email regarding the flight change. As she was reading out the booking details, the email mentioned was not even my email. My email used in the booking was [protected]@msn.com. I kept going through my emails and call logs and voicemails and could not find a single evidence of the booking change. She then said that Jetstar is not responsibility for the mishap as we had booked through a third party website and refused to help us further. In the end, my wife asked for the Supervisor or the Manager and she arrived at the scene about 15-20mins later. She maintained the same story as initially told by the first staff member. In the end, we were told to either rebook via Jetstar but pay an amount of NZ$75 per person or rebook with another airline but will have to pay for the full fare. As the major reason for our trip was for my sister's wedding, we were put under unnecessary pressure to go for option 1 which was rebook with the same airline. I had to pay an extra NZ$300 which was money we were meant to spend on accommodation and other expenses in Rarotonga. I was totally devastated and my wife and kids were in utter distraught due to the sequence if events that have unfolded. I am seeking compensation for this incident and am asking that Skyscanner be upfront and apologise to my family as this is purely their fault/mistake. Again for the record, my email is [protected]@msn.com and my phone number is [protected] and no other.

Skyscanner get a flight.uk.com. / extremely poor customer service.

After many failed attempts to book a flight online, the agent gave me some passwords and username to pay as they were having problems with thier system.After many failed attempts I phoned to tell them to cancel the booking and end the process.I also asked for an e-mail confirmation to verify, which thankfully I recieved, all be it a one liner "cancelled". Then a day later tickets arrive in my inbox.
Now it has been 7.5 weeks waiting for refund, manager does not return e-mails or answer phone, his voice mailbox is full.
When phone office customer service is attrocious and no help.

Never use get a flight, what a disaster.
Visa is on the case now, lets see what happens.

Skyscanner air travel experts terrible service

I made a booking with Air Travel Experts through you 3 weeks ago. I still haven't received an e-ticket and they are not answering any emails and are not taking responsibility through phone calls. I have been charged and yet they are not providing the service and are not addressing the issue. I have read reviews of hundreds of cases like mine with them. A very unpleasant experience. Skyscanner should stop operating with them since they are responsible for hundreds of unsatisfied customers. Terrible experience!

Skyscanner fishing/unauthorized charges and hidden fees by referred company

I have booked (07.02.2017) with a company of your referral called "travel2b.com"

Right after doing that, I was notified of attempts of unauthorized purchases so my credit card got blocked as result of that also, the company came back to me with a hidden fee email.

Skyscanner is a great app but please, stay out of referring this fraudulent companies.

Skyscanner money taken but no ticket

My name is Joby. I booked my ticket via sky scanner gotogate on 20/06/17. They have taken payment for a ticket but emailed me to say it is not confirmed. Basically I have paid for a flight which has not been booked and will be full by the time the travel company pull their finger out. I want this refunded but have had no answer. Researched and lots of people have had same problem and not been given tickets. How can sky scanner promote and be part of this scam receiving a cut of payments for flights which are never received by customers?!

I'm more than annoyed. I was looking gor flights for day June 26th. I ended up buying Malaysian Airlines, through LastMinute.com, and when the ticket was issued, I saw that I hadn't bought for 26th June...but 26th of JULY! I couldn't believe I had made this mistake. I checked again on the Skyscanner App and I realised that indeed, the searching engine was set for June 26th but immediately after clicking on the results, it changes to July 26th. I attach pictures of when I was checking what happened. I didn't realise this was happening and I totally trusted on your system - truth is, this is the first time I have a problem. But this is NOT correct, it shouldn't happen! I already have a flight ticket issued for July 26th that I can't use! I demand a help/compensation - I know you don't get any payments but finally, this mistakes in dates happened because of your system. I am waiting to hear soon from you.

Skyscanner jetabroad

Dear Sirs
I have made a booking through your site with Jetabroad.
I am having difficulty with checking in and they have been extremely unhelpful.
Basically it now apparent that I am not going to be able to achieve this before I fly. Whether you're able to make a representation on my account my booking reference is JRV89EU.

Skyscanner no way to contact them by phone

We booked our flight over a month ago to Croatia from them on British Airways. I tried to find a phone number to call them after my father in law had a heart attack and we need to make changes.
Their site lead me back to British Airways which then told me I needed to contact the travel agent. I explained that I booked it with Skyscanner and they said to contact them. I tried again to find a way to do this and it's impossible as there is no phone number.
British Airways finally did come to my rescue and banked the ticket for me to use at a later date. They didn't have to do this but they were awesome about it. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH SKYSCANNER WHO HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Skyscanner goto gate

On 17th of march I booked the ticket from "gotogate" throgh skyscanner.
First time, when I saw the price it was around 400dollors and after 2months when I check on my bank account, I need to pay 4000dollors which is not even twice! Then times expensive than normal price and my flight was not even both way flight, and I booked the flight 2months ago and it was transfer filght! That`s why I am very confused and when I asked customersercive on gotogate. They kept said it is my fault that I did not check on that time, but when you think logically one way ticket can`t be more than4000 dollors and it was not even business calss. So I hope skyscanner company can check the price on 14th of may flight ticket
I flew with cathay pacific airline, boarding time was one is 9:20am and 17:30 pm and flight number was cx746 and cx410. Dubai to seoul inchone.

Skyscanner flight dxb-sjj 30th june

Dear sir/madam

Yesterday (14th of may) I booked a flight from dubai to sarajevo for the 30th of june. my payment was taken immediately for aed3645.

Around 4 hours later I received a phone call informing me that the flight I had chosen was sold out. they then changed the story to be the price of the flight was different and there would be an extra charge.

When I asked what the extra charge was they informed me it would be an additional charge of aed 3000 dirhams! that is not an additional charge that is double the advertised price.

When I asked them what would happen if I cancelled my flight they said I had until 8am the following morning to cancel. if I hadn't then I wouldn't receive a refund for upto 30 working days. (please bare in my mind this phonecall came at 9pm)

The fact that I had such a tight time limit to cancel my flight in after it was not even the flight advertised at all was ridiculous.. later they mentioned that I could change the time of my flight and the extra charge would be only 1800 dirhams, which is still alot of extra money.

After checking your website and fly dubais webite. fly dubai is clearly stating the correct price, as this is what dnata now want to charge me.

If I had believed I would have been refunded immediately I would have cancelled but unfortunately after speaking with my boyfriend who had a similar situation after booking via skyscanner I decided this was unlikely.

fyi he was only ever refunded 20% of his ticket price.

I decided to go ahead with the aed1800 excess charge. however I am very unhappy with your website. it seems that you are not monitoring prices at all. dnatas lack of update was clearly a ploy to have people book through them rather than fly dubai directly even though its the exact same price.. and its not just dnata there was 5+ other agencies offering cheaper deals.

This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I would be reluctant to use sky scanner again.

Between myself and my partner we have now both experienced problems using the site. this has never happened to me before after years of using this website.. until now.

Clearly you are letting standards drop.

Please fix it.
