I wish to launch a complaint against Singnet mio home services. I signed up for a bundle package from a helloshop from singtel at ang mio kio hub which inclusive of a mio home ADSL 10Mbps, Mio Tv ultimate package and a home phoneline on the 30th of Oct 2010.The activation date given was on 15 Nov 2010 timing from 12pm to 3pm.
Few days before the activation of my services, I recieved a call from singtel to reconfirm my address so that the activation could be carry on smoothly. On the actual day itself 15 Nov 2010 I have waited at my house at 12pm for the installer to arrive, which didn't appear at all after an hour or so. Unsure what time the installer will be coming, I make a phone call to the customer service 1688. To my surprise they where not even aware of the activation at my house and no installer was schedule to come? They apologise for the whole incident and reschdule another timing which is 3 days later on the 18 Nov 2010 for the installer to fixed up the connection and they confirmed it will definitely be up. The day before installation on the 17th Nov 2010, I recieved another phone call from singtel explaining to me that due to some ADSL connection problem around my area, the installer are not able to setup the installation on the 18th Nov as the technician needs to address to the problem before the connection could be run smoothly. I was then reschedule for another date on the 22 Nov 2010 and they confirm it will definitely be up. A day or two before installation, they called to reconfirm the address again to ensure the technician will find the location. On the actual day 22nd of Nov an hour or so before the installation time at 7pm to 9pm, the technician gives a me call to confirm on the address again. When I was back home waiting from 7pm to 9pm the technician didn't shown up. making a call to customer service department again at 1688 the officer answering my call was not sure what happen and have to wait till tomorrow afternoon around 1 30pm to give me an answer as the techincal side is closed for the day. On the next day afternoon 23th of Nov the officer gives me a call telling me that the reason the technician wasn't there yesterday night because they couldn't find my address?? Seriously after confirming so many times? They schedule again for the technician to come tonight at 7pm and confirm to me again everything will be setup. Finally the technician did came on 23th Nov night around 8pm but after checking the area he inform me he couldn't setup the installation as the signal was not sent to my location which he could do the setup as the signal is sent to a wrong location? I have to call the customer service again to address the issue which later probably another techinician from singtel gives me a call around 9 plus pm and confirm they will come down tomorrow again at 24th nov around 7pm to fix up the connection and tell me it definitely be up. On the 24th Nov night again I waited at my house for the techinician from singtel till 9pm, nobody shown up and not even a single call to inform or address the issue?? I have to call the 1688 again to raise the issue and this time a manager speaks to me and tell me by tomorrow he will get back to me. On the 25th Nov morning he confirms to me that he will have his people to come to setup the connection and confirm it will be setup by today?? He still trying to aliase with his technical department and will get back to me.
Seriously if this is the service provided by singtel they should have just closed down the whole department of customer service, it is getting nowhere!!!
