I have been charged every month for 24.95, since October, I cancelled the service in October, I do not have a profile. I have cancelled the credit card, that was the only way I could stop the charges. The bank was not helpful at all.

I have charges to my bank account and I never once have been on singlesnet.com. It does not make sense to me that there are these charges on there. I know for a fact that I did not authorize this charge and neither did the other person on the account because at 11:00 am on that particular sunday morning, he was in bed asleep with me. How do I go about getting my money back or at least filing a nasty complaint with these people. I keep trying to contact them via email, however since my email address is not listed on their website, I cannot email them to actually file one. This is very important to not only the security of my account, but the 9 year relationship that I have always considered a great one with the other card holder of my account. I am completely shocked to see this charge on my bank statement and would appreciate any help that I can get with this situation. PLEASE HELP ME!

I don't like these ###! I used paypal to file the transaction for testing their service out. I'm positive I'll get my money back via paypal support but I'll sue these ### with you guys... because no man(women included) should be taken with such disrespect. Since they are registered as a biz with paypal their service as a company most likely will be terminated. Whats awful is you can't access their site to communicate with the ###. I've even used proxy servers to bypass their site security. These [censored]s need to be brought to justice. Everyone deserves the right to find a partner equal to them self. Good thing it was only 24.95 and nothing more. BUT! I will not rest for the sake of a people's HEARTS! ~_~ I'm passionate person so I will rip their mental innards till they suffer pain beyond their wildest imaginations. Ooh yeah I recommend you by the way to always use paypal on shifty looking sites! ^_^ thank you!

Singlesnet, Inc is a scam. Hopefully the owner will be caught and sent to Prison for a long period of time. They steal your credit card information using Phishing techniques and then charge you $24.95 per month forever (until you cancel your card and report them as fraud).

Whenever you see a charge from Singlesnet, Inc please contact your Visa/MC provider and tell them your card has been compromised and to cancel it immediately.

I imagine the operators of the scam will be caught soon.

Let's hope they get raped in prison!

I just received my bank statement and there was this $24.95 charge for something called SINGLESNET, INC. Right before that charge is a refund for the same amount, then the withdrawal. I googled it and found it's some dating site. But I've never signed up for it. I tried writing them, but I get an error saying my email address is not registered there. Then HOW can they be charging me? I can't figure out how to cancel this and can't find any useful information about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

File a written complaint against them with the interstate commerce commission, the state attorney general - consumer fraud - in the state where you live and the one to which you were traveling (if different), and the better business bureau in the city where you live and the city to which you were traveling.

It will cost them thousands to deal with all this and you will get your money back and a free ticket and more (and will have done a good service)

Also, if you were victimized by black against white racism (as thousands of others have been), file a complaint with the United states attorney

I paid for a full year on singlesnet.com. I met someone so I got off for 2 weeks. Now that I try to go back on my account, they deny me access. Twice, I have tried to create a NEW account, even a "free" one and it throws out my account and I can't find singlesnet.com even on search. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE? WHERE DID MY MONEY GO AND WHY CAN'T I HAVE EVEN A FREE ACCOUNT? I have sent letter after letter to customer service and NO RESPONSE! How can they do this?

I am in a query. I went to log on to my website and was informed it had been deleted and/or closed.
Would you please tell me who the person was that did such a thing. I love my Singlesnet and am just devastated that someone would do this to me. What do I do?

Singlesnet.com Claiming you send free emails to nonmembers

I ran to a woman in club the day she told me that she met someone from Singlesnet.com and was for free. I her it wasn't free, but she insisted it was free. I was lured to this sites years ago on the premise that it was a "free " dating site. I would recieved messages from possible suitors and read their profiles. When to come to emial them back I was redirected to secure page for payment to send a message to paying members. I sign up going to be free send and recieved messages from other people. I went back to this to complaint about their policies.

I recieved message from the company saying

"It is free as a non-paying member to send and receive emails from any of our paid registered members. These are identified as featured with the gold border. The Benefits of upgrading and becoming featured member:
-Initiate conversations with as many members as you wish.
-Non-paying members can e-mail you for free at any time.
-Enhanced compatibility matching technology.
-Your profile gets top search ranking"

Then complaint futher this my next respond from them following:

"Sir,
Being a on paying member you only can flirt or respond to paid member's mail."

This site doesn't live up their offer the mentioned below:

Singlesnet.com Ripped off my money

Around February 1st i wanted to try a dating service so i logged into www.singlesnet.com. I tried it out and liked it so on February the 15th I had them to upgrade it to a gold membership. On February the 18th they took the money out of the checking account and i was emailing ladies to date. On February the 28th i tried to log into singlesnet and did but i could not email any ladies so i went to there help system to ask what was the problem and they said i was not a paying member. I have my checking account statement but i was suppose to get 30 day and i only got 10. I have turned this matter over to the better business bureau but be aware if they will take my money they can take your money. So make sure you keep all paper work that shows u paid.I do not know if this is a scam or not but the next step is filing a police report and see what will happen. Thanks mike.

This is Debbie sweetpea22123. I very rarly can login to singlesnet, this is a poor excuse for a dating site. I have been a featured member before and was thinking about becoming one again. But the way that they do you now on not being able to login why would I ever think about joining again. Can't someone fix this bad problem. Or is it done because I am not a featured member?

Singlesnet.com Scam and cheating!

On singlesnet a member made nasty comments about me on her profile. Her name on her account is mantecagirl1216. I would appreciate you contacting her and asking her to remove her comments immediately. I would prefer her to be barred from singlesnet for her harassing comments on her profile about me. This very disappointing and very harmful to my character.

Thank you,

I suggested that they allow a pinpoint age search as I really am not looking for a cougar nor anyone close to my age. They suggested that I list that in my profile.Hey, I make money for people with my ideas. Im trying to help them out. They reject every shot I use. Their website is not easy to navigate and clearly they are only interested in creating a basic cash cow. Also I suggested that they set up a point system where even if you dont pay after a period of time you are allowed a day of free contact. That might intice more business.Screw them

I contacted them via email a couple of times to cancel...stating that as listed date within their 30 cancellation period and just kept getting emails responses to call. Finally, got around to calling and they said there was nothing I could do to get my money back, even though they acknowledged that I'd emailed them wanting to cancel prior to the cancellation date. Rip-off...service didn't deliver anything worthwhile for the 2 weeks I used the service.

I have looked and written down some of the srceen names that they show for my area. And have searched for them after creating my profile. And none of them exist. How can you show people who is not even on here. Was thinking about giving them money to sign up. But when you start off with lies makes me not want to. When i first went to sign. THey showed a whole bunch of people in my area. Then after signing in. There was not one single person in my area. I would not recommend you guys to any one.

I used to work for Singlesnet - I know for a fact it is FAKE! They would take pics of girls in the office or friends of girls in the office to use to send "batch emails" to non paying members... Do not give them their money = they are laughing all the way to the bank. I am very serious - it is all a joke to them, they have big parties/drive nice cars/"company" meetings at the MOST expensive restaurants in Boston on your dime! The owner just got married in Brazil - had fireworks and EVERYTHING at the wedding - don't be a fool!

I am not receiving my emails from potentiall matches.
Email shows up once only and then I can't get the same message backas if I deleted it.
I am an ITT professional and this is not the way to do bussiness, paying good money and not receiving the expected results as promissed under the contract...
I get messages that say I ignored, them which is not true since I didn't receive their message to begin with...
Next time I will have to copy all my messages before exiting the site...
This is not the first nsident...
Sincerely
Larry

For long period of time I was a member of Singlesnet. I paid lots of money and although I am not a member now, they (singlesnet) are sending me links to individuals that have profiles on there web site.

I have done research, contacted individuals and note that they (Singlesnet) have set me up! This has happened several times, now I keep copies of emails and have legitimate information.

Where are the true watch dogs that need to stop dishonesty approaches such as this one use by Singlesnet?

Singlesnet.com is by far the most uncompliant website I've ever seen. They don't post anything about when maintanance occurs so I was right in mid conversation with a woman when the site went dead for repairs. Of all the e-mails I've sent about issues or problems with the site have not been even responded to in any fashion. I will never spend money on that site again. I suggest others don't either. Match.com seems much better although I haven't subscribed yet. But I'll NEVER resubscribe to singlesnet again. These people should be ashamed to call themselves a dating site.

I signed on for a 1 month subscription with Singlesnet, an internet dating service. I cancelled even before the month was up. There is no screening whatsoever: all kinds of questionable people are on there, making lewd comments; I even had one "Nigerian businessman" who wanted me to contact him about future business deals! If you just read someone's profile without taking any action, Singlesnet automatically sends that person an e-mail saying you are "interested"! I do not recommend this service for anyonw who wants to sign on for a professional, above-board dating service.

I have had men on the site email me and when I read their profile it talks about how they are only there to meet women for sexual encounters. I got tired of getting emails from people like that so I put in my profile that I was not just there looking for sex - please don't write if you are. They took that out of my profile and wouldn't let me post it. So it's ok for men to post that they want sex but not for women to post that they don't! Pretty discriminatory - and I've told them that, too.

One man in particular has age 44 posted on his profile. I could tell from his photographs that he was much older than 44. He had emailed me several times asking when I was going to meet him and finally, I emailed him and asked him how old he really was. His real age was 68. I told him that I thought that was wrong and I was going to report him to Singlesnet. He responded to me with: "When I first joined this dating service more than one year ago, I entered my actual age and received profiles of ladies who were between the ages of 55-65.. After several dates and discussions, I decided to call the Singlesnet organization to see why I was not receiving profiles of younger ladies. The singlesnet people told me that their computer only issues profiles of ladies who are no more than 20 years younger than the person requesting profiles. Since I prefer dating younger ladies between ages 35 -55 I told Singlesnet that I was disatisfied with the profiles of older ladies.
She also told me that there was no way that I could go into my account and change my age. She said the thing that she could do so that I would receive profiles of Younger ladies is to "Plug in a number" and that is what she did."

So there you have it. You can't search for anyone by entering YOUR preferences, they chose those preferences for you. And if that doesn't work they tell you to lie on your profile. I've emailed Singlesnet about this - it's wrong and I do NOT think that they should be allowed to do this.

Singlesnet.com Nigerian Romance Scam

I went on Singlesnet dating service and did not have problems with the billing, but had problems with poeple that i met on singlesnet. I got duped by a Nigerian Romance Scam on singlesnet. Scam 419. Its when a person meets you online and says that they are doing work out of Nigeria. They act like they are really looking for a relationship but all they are looking for is citizenship, money and someone to victimize. They put their profile on singlesnet like they are located out of California, but actually they are Nigerians scamming to victimize women and men. So please be careful with singles net dating service.

I was contacted by a man on a internet dating site. He sent me what he claimed were pics of himself and yes he was very handsome. Claimed he was French by birth and a single parent. Has a six year old daughter. Lives in Manchester. Mother lives in Scotland and he is a writer by proffession. He declared his love for me by the forth email and even thou we had never met nor had I sent him pics as he kept requesting because I knew something was not right. To cut a long story short. He left Manchester to go to Nigeria to launch a book he had written on the government.(emailed me a copy of his ticket) Email from him said book launch a success. Few days later on the day he was due to return to UK he is arrested by government officals because the book had 'misinformation about a Nigerian offical' He was now been held in remand and had to pay a fine to be allowed to come home as offical very unhappy. He was unable to get any kind of help for one reason or another so needed my help and how much he loved me. I said ok will help by contacting the British or French embassay. When he begged me not to but to keep this between us I had the proof that I needed that he as a con man. After asking if he had a web cam so I could see him he said 'No before moving on to telling me how to send the money by Western Union along with the name of the person I should send it to as he was in remand so would not be able to collect. He is detained yet had access to computer to email me. I never sent him any money as for him being French he is a about as much French as George Bush. Since my running with this man I have done lots of research on the net and there is a lot of info out there on scammers.

The same thing just happened to me. What a crying shame. They appear to be really nice people. About a month into the relationship/emails, they are about to finish whatever project they are on and run into huge problems and need money to bail them out. Very loving and caring people, really play on the emotional side very well. Always with the love and trust issues. The usually have no or little family, very few friends, no credit cards and are business owners. Please be very cautious, no business owner would be huge success without most or many of the above factors in their lives. Especially traveling abroad without a credit card. Also they say that the hotels do not accept credit cards...

Singlesnet.com Fake profiles

They offer a free membership profile, but send flirts from women that do not know that the company is sending these flirts to men. They do this so you will join the site for $28.95. When I wrote these ladies back I found that they never sent the firt and they did not know what I was talking about. It's clear that they have a internal system that can send flirts from members that are unaware.

The company also says that it screens profiles, but often profiles from scam artist Russian women are not removed. It's easy to find these fake profiles that have model pictures and the word "I want to find a interesting person."

I not only met some total babe on singlesnet she traveled 1k miles to see me we worked together etc.. No site is exempt from BS but the only factor that was problematic for me was the search process. You have to go thru 500 names in your area. So there's my experience only, get savy and as in sex and in computers, USE PROTECTION!

I must retract my complaint w/ the board. And Offer my regret and appoligy to Stephanie Maxwell of Syrucuse New York. I stated that I was scammed and I truely thought I was ,with all the fraud going on in Lagos Nigeria. I wired a girl I met online 3200.00
I did not hear back from her till late and by that time I had done much research. And was convinced I was scammed out of my money. She did contact me She did provide a pass port proving her Identity. I am truely sorry for any inconvinance that I may have caused.

I was scammed on SingleNet. out of 3,200.00 from a fake member. 10/17/07 Using name Stephanie Maxwell of Syricuse New York. She was on business in Lagos Nigeria. She had an accident and needed my help. I found her MySpace page and it looked legit and had basically the same info that SingleNet had. She w/ blond 35 year old business owner no kids never married. Who do I need to contact about this?

I filled out the minimum of info and then had a look around. Within 3 minutes my email had 6 contacts...one just happened to be an attractive blond I had seen earlier but done nothing. On her profile I noticed that she described herself as brown hair...strange for a blond? In the corner of her photo was a logo - NewFaces.com. I went to that site and found it was a modeling resource and there she was. Obviously she had no need of a dating site so the earlier profile was faked. The supposed flirts I had received immediately promoted me to fully subscribe to flirt or contact back and yet when I looked at my account, no one had even looked at my profile. Save your time and keep your money for a Friday night out - you will have better luck.

Singlesnet.com Fraud and cheating!

I recently signed up for singlesnet and i have regretted it ever since, its nothing but spam, i met two girls which i started chatting with and for the first few days they were cool and i started to get to like them, and then they went on to tell me how they were out of the country on business as a model or something else and had gotten robbed or something and needed money to get back to the states. After telling me that their parents had died a few months before and they had no friends and had no way to get back to the states and tried to make me feel sorry for them and send them money. I almost fell for this once but a friend of mine told me that it was all a lie and he had heard of people doing this before, but its a big scam to get your money so beware!

Not being able to talk to the person are persons that you would like to with out paying money and sending credit cards. Why cant those sites be free like free email free profiles and you should be able to respond to the emails for free. I thought this was The USofA - home of the free. You would think they would not want to charge us to pay to talk to people on there sites, so i am never going on those sites and Stay away from SINGLES NET. They will say its free for nonmembers but if your not a paying member forget!

Fake profiles, misleading contacts, con artists, I plus on 3 occasions they deleted my essay!?! At least half of the female members are too good to be true--they're fake, I'm sure! Others are sweaty fat dudes sitting at internet cafes in Botswana posing as American women----yuk! The thought that I flirted w/these dudes, yuk, yuk, yuk! Women that I actually reached said they had similar probs with guys online getting nasty and rude to them. Stick with matchmaker or other reputable sites... it's worth the time to research them beforehand. If they try to bill me a 2nd time--heaven help them!

SinglesNet.com is another site that says that puts up, in many cases, obviously fake profiles and then uses some automated system to send interest, winks and messages from these fake profiles (in my case, from women), who don't exist. This is done to make you pay. I know this for a fact because I set up 3 different accounts (various reasons why, one being living in multiple places). Don't fall for this. Go to any other big dating site, they are, for the most part, legit. SinglesNet is NOT legit. This must be being done with the owners approval. Amazing. Stay away...

Unfortunately, I did not do my research before signing on to Singlesnet.com. Thankfully, I did not and refuse to pay for these types of services. I can remember the days when most dating sites were free of charge and so much fun to browse and even connect to another person. Singlesnet may advertise this as a special offer for a short period of time but, what they don't offer you is honesty. No sooner than I finished my questionnaire, I was receiving emails of people who were supposedly interested in me. Impossible! They couldn't have had time to read the profile. There are issues when trying to log in. It continues to take you back to log in when clicking on "My Email". I have apologized in advance in my profile to those who may be seriously seeking a partner. It is unfortunate that finding a companion has even become a business.

I have wrote to singlesnet explaining that i get 90% scam mail from there fake members from all over the united states and other countries, which for the most part are obvious, but they choose to ignore this fact. So they wont be in business for long i am sure. After all its all the fake fu***ng bots that make them there money by getting people to join so they are just as much a part of the scam by aiding the scammers or are the scammers as well.

Beware!

This girl uses singlesnet to scam men out of money, She lives in Accra Ghana. She ask for money for everything from plane tickets to false documents. She e-mailed me over 300 times confessing her never ending love and how she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me and also sent me many pictures many with sexual overtones. Her e-mail address is zinnah_ntmbaby@yahoo.com. Please put this girl on your list of scammers to protect other men.

That's not singlesnets fault. They state that they don't pre-screen people's backgrounds. I feel bad that you got screwed but you did so by unfortunately meeting up with a couple of gold diggers. Although I've not met the right guy I haven't had any problems meeting good men on singlesnet. I just haven't clicked with the right one yet.

Singlesnet.com Be careful if you deal with SinglesNet.com!

I was receiving quite a few notices from woman saying that I could write them back if I wanted to. I became suspicious that singlesnet was tricking me when I emailed the ladies that I had received the notices from and they did not write back to me. This happened many times. I then took a closer look at these email notices that I received from the alleged woman. The ones that were tricks were the ones that said -- (One to one match notification) Saying that I could respond back to the person if I wanted to ---I thought that meant the lady was inviting me to write back to her.

It was later when I took this whole thing to the better business borough that singlesnet admitted that "The one to one match notification is a computer generated message."

Singlesnet claims they will give you your money back if your not completely satisfied, I called their phone number quite a few times and was just left on hold each time. That's when I contacted the better business borough.

In addition to tricking me into becoming a paying member with their one to one match notification, Singlesnet also billed my credit card without my permission. I don't go to the singlesnet site any more so I don't know if they are still using the same tricks but if you deal with them, Be careful.

Jim.

When I wrote to tell them the man who asked me out was married I never heard back from them. Do not use this site. They continue to take your money even after you resign. This site stinks. Single People BEWARE. This site is a joke. I continue to get winks and people interested emails from these people and I have written them many times to discontinue my subscription. Again. They do not check anyone that subscribes to it. You get phoney emails from them and then when you actually get a date with a ? Real human...it turns out the guy is a ***. So do not...I repeat...do not buy into their scams.

I emailed singlesnet and asked them what the icons meant. They were straight forward about it and once I understood flirts, one to ones, and views I was able to respond or not. I don't believe they are tricking anyone. What I do believe is that they don't explain how the site works well enough. Anyway.. that's my 2 cents.

these complaints are true and i've had some fraudulent experiences with singlesnet.com myself. they send emails saying you have a free trial and after you go through the trouble of registering you have to upgrade to reply to any messages you receive even though they tell you for 7 days you have the same priveledges as fully paid members. its just a scam to get you to upgrade when you get several messages of which are mostly computer generated.

I gotta say that I have a problem with just about every site out there. Between True and Singlesnet fake flirts, Eharmony's all prudes or holy rollers that won't meet you to match and looking at tons of 100% matches to you and they never respond it's no wonder people don't leave the bars and acting the fool.

Singlesnet.com Poor service!

They claim free singles dating and that members can contact each other free. That is a lie. No one who is a member can contact anyone directly unless they upgrade to an expensive membership. It's ### like most of these sites. People don't want the government to snoop into their private lives or invade the internet but unfortunately these people who are ripping everyone else make the case for government intervention because they are conducting deceptive business practices. Other sites that are doing the same and even worse and should be prosecuted for such deception are Adult Friend Finder, Asian Friend Finder, Asian Sex dates, Smut Vibes, Passion.Com, Senior Friend Finder.Com, Amateur Match.Com, Mate One.Com, Lonely Wives. Com, There are more and all of them are conducting a criminal business.

Beware!

I signed up for this website because I was board and tired of going to bars to find a guy. I didn’t want the typical frat boy that never grew up and I didn’t want the old guy in the office next to me. I just wanted to see what was out there. Since internet dating is starting to become popular, I thought I would give it a try.

Unfortunately, this site is a waste. I can barely login to search for guys, and I can’t read the messages I have received either. The weekend is the only time I have available to do this. I called to see why things were working they told me because a majority of the users are on the site. Pretty much telling me to use it when no one is likely to be using it!

Another thing is they keep charging my account even though I’ve only has this account for less than two months. I have paid enough fees for this service for 3 months, but I haven’t used it for 3 months yet. I can’t use the service when I have time but you expect me to pay for more service then I’m receiving? That is outrageous.

When I finally get into the site to look around, the guys they suggest for me are like thousands of miles away! I don’t want to meet people from TX when I live in Seattle! They should have a filter for this! Why do they ask for a zip code if they don’t use it to screen their matches?

I think my subscription for this service will be coming to an end shortly. I can’t log on when I want to. The matches they send me are men states away! And my money is leaving my bank account long before its due! If they want to claim to be #1 then they should give service like a #1 company.

I have been on Singlesnet for quite awhile, due mainly to the number of "flirts" or "winks" I would get. And, sometimes, I would get suspicious when I got an IMMEDIATE "is interested in you" reply when I wrote the first email to a female member. But, I was still able to make more contacts there than Match.Com so, continued. Today, however, I finally heard from a female who I had emailed to stop sending "interested" emails to me, as she had no photo. She emailed me back, saying she didn't send them... Singlesnet did. I thought, "no way" and have been trying to get in touch with them, when I found this complaint blog.

If I get any answer from them, which I doubt, I will be back here for an update. Stay tuned, and beware.

Singlesnet is legit. They are fast to ban any fake accounts, they also ban anyone in chat that is being a jerk. Singlesnet is probably the best dating site out there. However they are now removing the free chat rooms and making it for members only. Which sucks. But any free membership is allowed to contact any member as often as they wish through email or instant messenger. We also have local parties and get togethers hosted by members. However SN has just been bought out by Match.com and a whole lot of crap is changing. So be aware of that.

Singlesnet.com Pretty sneaky. Avoid!

Here's how I got sucked in. Replied to a craigslist personal. She said her profile is on this website and sign up is free. She even gave me her user name so I could find her there. So of course to sign up meant email address etc, etc. (but free at this point). Guess what? She is nowhere to be found in there (I've since learned she is non-existent and I got an automated response) and now I have a profile in there whether I want one or not. And of course I have dozens of women winking at me who I am sure are bogus too because to talk to them means you have to sign up and pay. Pretty sneaky. Avoid!

Singlesnet.com Taking money from my bank account

I was a remember of singlesnet.com, and became very dissatisfied with their service, and decided to have them stop billing my C.C in May. I did it on their website and checked the box where it said to Stop Billing MY account. But their was also a message their that said i could use it until the membership ran out. Well, i go into June and was still able to use the service. To make a long story short, they were still Billing my account long after i told them to stop. They say i continued using their service. Their is something wrong with their Website. Do not give any C.C information to them they will continue to bill your card if you try to cancel online. I think i need to hire a lawyer, anyone else experienced this from singles net?

I did not renew this dating service and I certainly did not allow them access to my bank account. I don't know where they got the money from. When you join you fill out a profile. One of the items is what ages of men are you interested in. I am 70 years old and they are trying to ix me up with men under 68.

Well I'm another dissatified customer. Singlesnet didn't stop billing my account when they said they would, cancelled online, tried to call the phone # line said number not available, then when checking my credit card statements I found Singlesnet was some how billing 2, two of my credit cards . I had only given them one card # when I signed up with them but had tried True.com for a "FREE" trial cancelled with them right away but they billed me then I called them they credited my card but next month billed me again. These people are theives . Maybe the only safe way to use these sites is a prepaid creditcard. Watch out, ... someone needs to invent a cyber condom.

Singlesnet needs to be responsible about who actually enters their web site. I have been in their site for nearly 3 weeks and found that most of the contacts are from Africa, Ghana. These people are scam artist, that upon first contact indicate that they are living in the United States, and next door to the subscribers. Very dishonest people that have one purpose, and that is to scam people. Singlesnet needs to clean up their act, or they should brought up for misconduct, and prosecuted to the full extenct of the law.
There needs to be a group action, suit. Trust me, they are out for one purpose only-get your money. Don't join this group, very poor quality of people are now using this site.

I am in the process of filing a better business bureau complaint against them - during their cancellation process, they explicitly state that your credit card would no longer by charged from that moment on, and that no further action needed to be taken by you b/c cancelling the subscription with paypal will be taken care of by *them.* well, they continued to charge my credit card. and since I had two other regular subscriptions with paypal at the time, and they don't specify which company in the email title (they just refer to "your subscription") and in addition I don't check that email address often and I had ALOT going on in my life at the time so I was distracted, I did not notice for a while that singlesnet.com had not cancelled my paypal subscription as they had promised and that they were now stealing my money and had been for months.

When I caught on, needless to say I was livid, and emailed their customer service. Their response was that it was *my* responsibility to cancel with paypal (at that point I forgot that they had gone out of their way in the cancellation process to tell me that I didn't need to do this) and that for a refund I needed to call a certain number. After I cancelled my subscription via paypal, I called the number.

After verifying my information and checking my account, the women I spoke with claimed they
do not in fact give refunds and instead offered me free paid access to their site (for a limited time, not forever, I should specify) - which was utterly useless for me considering that the reason I cancelled my paid membership in the first place was because I'm concentrating on school and not looking for anybody. I demanded my money back; she would not bend. Then - here's where I realized that I was dealing with crooks who were trying to make sure they wouldn't get caught - she totally contradicted herself and told me that I still had a paid account, which was a bold-faced lie. She had gone and changed the settings on my FREE account (which I had kept, after cancelling my paid membership, just in case I wanted to come back someday) as we spoke, during that phone call, probably after I refused her offer, and was now covering the company's tracks.

I had no choice but to go through the cancellation process on their site a second time (I wish I had taken screenshots the first time I did it so I'd have hard proof, but then it didn't cross my mind that I was about to be ripped off.) During that process was when my memory was refreshed about their in-print promise that singlesnet would cancel the paypal subscription and my credit card would no longer be charged from then on. There it was, in black and white, legal proof that they had cheated me and owed me the money they had extorted whether they wanted to give me a refund or not. I wrote them an email telling them that I would be reporting their scam to the better business bureau.

Ok, now that you know my story, anyone feel like taking legal action with me? It makes for a strong case against them.

Singlesnet.com Worst dating site!

This is the worst dating site i have ever experienced. First off people can never get on to the inbox page it never connects until sometimes 10 tries and i usually just give up by then. Second i think someone went out and picked out the uglies bunch of geezers they could find and put them on there site. And most of the men i spoke with just string you along and then just disappear none of them are looking for anything more than a good time! I would never recommend this site to anyone.

final straw breaker was one of those Nigerian money scams. I could not get oot of this site fast enough.

There was nothing provactive about my profile or photos. This site is the absolute worst and left me so traumatized I will not try

I wasted two weeks trying to find a suitable companion on this site. They do not read your profile, send you matches from 6,000.00 miles away. I smoke they send me non smokers, I do not drink they send me drinkers. How desperate can you get. Everytime I tried to upload pictures of myself they posted someone else's picture to represent me. Are there teen -agers running this site. This total experience with this site was a waste of time and money.

This website has some form of a glitch, I sighed up and had no problem getting on the site for about 4 days, then one day I tried to log on and I kept receiving an internet explorer (cant display page) message. I called and was advised that my internet carrier was blocking their site and to contact Verizon. I never had this issue with any website in my life (very strange). I called the internet server, changed my settings, even rebooted my system still no luck (I even tried it sign in elsewhere on different computers NO LUCK!) .Finally called Customer service second time and told them to cancel my account entirely. Do yourself a favor do not waste time with this site POF or OKCUPID seems to be a lot better. The customer service is very poor also, I feel sorry for people who actually pay for this site!

myself I have Nickname on singlesnet.com and its Jebsi, and everytime I would even send a member or non member but still they have signed up on singlesnet and everytime I would even send some one on singlesnet an Email I always get logged off each time and my message does not goes through to the one I send the singlesnet Email to . and ad to it I think singlesnet.com should pay back everyone their money back to them if singlesnet.com don't fix their problem with their system, that keeps logging you off each time you try to send an Email to anyone on singlesnet . so is there anyone out there that has the same problems I am having with singlesnet.com if so let me see your compliant on the next time I go back to this site again and should singlesnet.com pay back any money that their services is not working right in the first place and they won't fix the problem at all

This site is annoying. It works for about a month then it don't even let you connect. I have had so many problems with this site It makes me mad. Glad I didn't pay for it. I have even sent them emails to tell them the problem and they have never replied. Ever! It's sickening.

I have never been able to open any email comments that I receive from Singlesnet.com. I keep getting windows messenger set up which continually rotates the same message over and over again. Forget this site! it is a waste of time. Personally, I never invested any money nor will I.

I haven't been able to do anything with my account. I keep getting sent back to the log on screen every time. Meanwhile I can't answer Singlesnet e-mail members, search, flirt, or sent e-mail. A waste of money.

Singlesnet is a fraud. I have seen what all these previous people have talked about. But, Singlesnet has even created people on Craigslist and they will entice you to join singlesnet to contact these mystery people. SCAM and FRAUD!

Considering millions of children use hotmail, wouldn't you think having naked people on their advertisement, not only be disturbing, but also giving off a very bad impression of internet dating.

I'm having the same problem. When I log on and get in the site to read my messages it sends me back to the login screen over and over again. Very annoying. And they actually have the nerve to offer a membership?!

Singlesnet.com Stay away from Singlesnet.com

If I should tell you anything, its to STAY AWAY from SINGLESNET.COM. This site is a complete scam from the beginning, (1) to start did you ever wonder why there is always 500 people online (not 378 or 502)its always 500 no matter what state, what region, what time your online. (2) Once you pay for a membership you get swarmed with emails, they give you a little taste by sending you a few emails here and there when your not a paid member but once they get them $'s its a wrap. I got about 15-20 a day, everyday. I started to think I was the man or something. (3) They say its a 100% moneyback, YEAH RRRIGHT! You try calling them and see how far you get, I actually did a little D.T. work and found that the number isnt even a landlne its a cell phone. So to sum this all up, SINGLESNET.com... leave it alone! The whole time I used it I talked to one real person and she was a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 (and those are the only real people on that site). (4) GUNSHOTS to the creator of SINGLESNET.com

I joined Singlesnet back in March or April. You would not believe the number of women who e-mail me saying they would like to meet me, only to find they are just trying to redirect me to some sort of swingers site. There have been at least half-a-dozen others who live in Russia or Ghana who would claim their undying love and passion for me, then ask me to send them a substantial amount of money for air fare. I was sensible enough not to fall for any of it, but I worry about those men who have more money than brains.

This happened on Singlesnet. I was talking to a women claiming to be living 15 miles away. She said that she was working abroad and needed money for a new laptop, because she din't want to use her co-workers laptop because he was hitting on her. I told her there was no way. I told her I had an old laptop. She wanted me to Fed-ex it to her. When she gave me the address it was in Nigeria and I asked for her local number. I have yet to hear from her again.

I wanted to add to the comment of women from Singlesnet pretended to be local women who are working over in Nigeria doing humanitarian work. I had this happen to me March 9, 2008. A women flirted with me on the website Singlesnet claiming to be from a town an hour from me. When I asked her to e-mail some photos of herself I was sent 3 photos of a pretty young women. Then we started chatting on Yahoo Messenger for awhile. She had claim to work for the Red Cross doing Humanitarian work in Nigeria. She also said she really liked my profile and wanted me to help plan her return to the states so she could be with me. Eventually she had got around to asking me for $350.00 to put in on her $1550.00 flight ticket.
Even went to the extreme of emailing me a copy of a fake flight confirmation with a balance of $350.00 still due. I have to admit I wanted it to be true but my gut just told me that something was not right with this picture. I am glad I was smart enough not to fall for this SCAM. I am only worried now about other of those who may fall victim to these ###. These people should be in jail and Singlesnet should be accountible and taken off the internet. Big Rip-Off!

I feel that most of the people that are members of singlesnet say that they live in the US is a lie. I get messages that their in Nigeria and asking for wire transfer to come to the US to find a romantic love. When this complain was reported by the news on April, I still get people contacting me from Nigeria this day and we are in July. I think that signalsnet should be held accountable for their service. The site signalsnet is completely not offering the services to the people and therefore should be removed from the website.

Singlesnet is misleading people. They said the service is for free 100% but you can not read the people sending email until you have to submit money. If you had register and now you want to remove your file, they don’t let you do it. They ask for the reason and even if you answer they still ignore. They seem like to keep your file information to attract other people to get into their fault advertising or misleading. They could use your information include your mail address to sell to other company to do their advertise business. I’m the one of many victims of their misleading so I hope people could read my notice before register with Singlesnet.
