Singlesnet.com FRAUDS

I WAS A FEATURED MEMBER TILL FOUND OUT NON-MEMBERS CAN ONLY EMAIL FEATURE MEMBERS ONCE. ALSO SENT EMAILS TO 25 FEATURED MEMBERS WHICH INCLUDED MY EMAIL ADDY AND DID NOT GET A SINGLE INTEREST. SAME TIME SENT 25 INTEREST WITHOUT EMAIL ADDY AND RECEIVED ALMOST ALL RETURN INTEREST. THE CONCLUSION IS THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU PAY TO BE ABLE TO CONVERSE WITH A NON- FEATURE MEMBER, OR VISE-VERSA, YOU CANNOT, SINGLESNET WILL NOT LET THE OTHER MEMBER GET YOUR EMAIL THAT CONTAINS YOUR ADDY. WHAT SHOULD BE PRIVATE, SINGLESNET READS. AND IF IT HAS A WAY FOR THE OTHER MEMBER TO CORRESPOND, THEY TRASH IT. THE WHOLE IDEA ON THIS SITE IS TO MEET AND FURTHER YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH A MEMBER, BUT INSTEAD, SINGLESNET PREVENTS THIS THROUGH THEIR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. SINGLESNET BOTTOM LINE IS NOT FOR HELPING A PERSON FIND A RELATIONSHIP, BUT THEIR PROFITABILITY

Singlesnet.com refusing to accept my removal, now charging me another month

I request, by e-mail, that singlesnet.com remove me from their dating service and that i did not wish to continue with them. That was early this month. However, I found out on July 21, 2009 that they disregarded my instructions and took $24.95 out of my savings account without my consent, knowledge and against our agreement.

I sent singlesnet.com an e-mail message to at 7:45 a.m. this morning July 21, 2009, stating affirmatively that I want my $24.95 returned to my savings account.

Singlesnet is the biggest scam of all time. Try searching for a girl in Asia then you will see the same girl on the Germany site what kind of bull ### it that all about! LOL I just laugh anf figure the singlesnet people who are answering the emails which are sent really must love their jobs reading comments on emails from serious men and women searching for other singles.

The site claims that it is TOTALLY free to use-to check emails, send flirts, IMs. When you go to respond with emails a window pops up to send money. ALL of the sites are like that - ZOOSK, Match.com. All you can do is look at pictures and send winks. I will NOT be sending my money to those people after hearing the stories of how they mess up people's credit/bank cards. that is fraudulent advertising. FREE is just that FREE !

I know there have been a lot of complaints on here about Singlesnet.com, but they have honored their refund policy to me. I was on the website and did not like it after only 3 days. They worked with me and resolved this issue, so give them a chance. And by the way I do believe there are real people on this web site. You will have people trying to commit fraud all over the internet, but if you report the person they will delete them quickly.

I go to gt on the web site and it goes to gateway timeout. I have tried two days now and it keeps going to that timeout site. This makes two times since I have been on the complants site. I hope this doesn't happen again for awhile. I like the web site but when I try to go on it I hope that I will be able to get on it all the time instead of part of the time.

I have sent over 50 flirts and/or e-mails over the last month. I have only received a couple of responses. This doesn't seem right to me. I don't think my e-mails or flirts are even being sent. I am a free member because I am disabled, but I e-mail paying clients and they never e-mail me back. My profile/pic seems attractive enough, what's going on here? I certainly will not consider paying for a membership to this site.

Singlesnet.com, claims for one to be able to view, email others on the site but all one see's are small boxes with x's on them, even when your attempting to input your own info the site is not allowing you to. They claimed that I had restricted their website but when I checked all was fine on my end. I'm able to view all other sites with no problems. What a rip-off.

Singlesnet.com Scammers

After reading all the complaints I would just like to chime in. After I signed up in November 2006 I started getting all kinds of "winks" from girls and a few legit people who wanted to communicate live. However I did receive numerous requests to check out girl's websites. I could smell a scam brewing. However... There is a happy ending.

I did meet a local girl on the site who was going to Law School in my city. We had a disastrous first date, but then gave it another shot. We have been together 2.5 years now and will be getting married this September. If not for clicking on a random link (advertisement) on myspace I would not have met my future wife.

Strange world

Singlesnet.com doesn't do squat to filter out the scammers, phishers and outright frauds using its site. I cannot begin to tell you how many contacts I received from women in claiming to be in their 80s whose profiles had pictures of twenty-somethings. There were a lot of them who listed "accountant" and "retail sales" as their profession. These are women supposedly in their late 80s? Come on! The frauds can't even get their info straight or structure a sentence properly in English. I cannot begin to tell you how many "U.S." students there were "studying" anthropology, geology, sociology, etc. "in Africa." I would avoid Singlesnet like the plague. They are just a home base for frauds.

Be on your guard and buyer beware. I have used singlesnet for three years. Before I got a proper education on dating scams I was taken for five hundred dollars. The scammer turned out t0 be an infamous Russian scammer. There are entire organizations that use unprotected sites like singlesnet to run scams. Search Russian and or African dating scams. There are easy ways to spot a scammer once you do a little research. Watch for anyone who immediately offers thier personal address or alternate website. If they are in love with by the second week (lets get real) that is an instant indicator. If they need money to travel to visit you and think it is worth the chance after several months of letters, then offer to have a plane ticket waiting. They cant cash it or transfer it. Never send cash by wire. If they have a dying mother, hard luck, or need cash for travel, dont do it. They are pros and will likely get you to offer them something before asking, remembering they are experts and have been through thousands of people like you. If you meet someone from a foriegn country ask for the post address and mail them a letter, see what type of response you get. Ask for photos with proof of the current date. Look for improper english in the writing with words like (couse, my mum, and slang expressions). In singlesnet defense I have met and dated several nice ladies I met on the site but overall the majority are 50 lbs and five years older than they advertise. Throw out questions about thier family or specific questions about where they claim they live ( area code, phone prefix, etc) If they are a scammer they will dump you for putting them in a corner. Happy Hunting.
Look for sites that verify indentity and criminal background.

On singlesnet.com and usearchlocal.com there is a entire network of women From Ghana West Africa that all say they are from a big City in the US and they all say they are in there 40's and then after you start to talk to them they are all from Ghana and in there 20's and they all have the exact same story like they are reading it off a script! After a few days they all need you to send them money because they want to come to the US to marry you and then when you say no they get very angry and will even threaten your life! I had one even call my local Police Dept and say I was trying to sell them Machine Guns! they can come up with some very detailed scams for you to send them money like produce Fake checks for 1.9 million dollars that they need you to send them cash to get to the US to cash and spend with you ! Even the pictures they send you are not them as they will send you two or three pics of women who are clearly not the same women!

Yes, the love itself is a miracle that always changes beyond your thinking. Though you don't know when the love will come, you should give you and others a opportunity. SO if you want to have a date and don't hesitate and just do it.look at here, you maybe have more chance to meet your love. sugar''''''''cu''''''''pid.com///.I also found my love here.it's not like others' site, always have some fake profile and think how to cheat the users' money.

That tale of love is great but a very rare chance using these dating sites. Like you said, you met her by accident, not because you intended to meet up with her.

I believe that if they were to go under investigation, they would be cracked...

Another scam that I've ran into is the "house cleaner." They get on to this site under the pretext of dating. What they really want is to aquire more business at outrageous fees. The last one of these I encountered wanted $50.00 per hour! I think it's called "clean your clock."

Singlesnet.com Scammer

I joined singlesnet a few years ago and met a woman that went by the name "Kelly Cook". We chatted for awhile and she got me thinking she and I had a future together. Then she started telling me a story about how she was working in Nigeria and was staying at a hotel and needed money to pay the hotel bill because if she did not she would be kicked out into the street. Ofcourse her employer owed her money and had left the country and she had no way of contacting him to get her money. Then when I refused to send her any money all of a sudden she asked for my address because she wanted to write to me because the hotel charges had mounted and she was not going to be allowed to use the computer. I gave her my home address anf I received a letter sent by UPS it was a money order and I was asked to cash it and wire the money back to her. I played along because now I was suspicious that something was not right. I took the check to my bank and asked them to verify it was fake. I deposited it but I was contacted by the bank and told it was fake. The bank had put a hold on the funds and did not release any money because of the large amount. I was then pressured into sending any amount I could to her because she needed money to eat. I told her the bank said the check was fake and she became angry and demanded I send her the money immediately and stop lying. I told her I wanted the name of the person that sent me the check because I was going to the FBI and other authorities. She refused to provide the names and ceased contact after that. This turns out to be a decent ending because I did not lose any money but the point is Singlesnet should be held responsible for these scams because these people are preying on Americans and scamming them everyday. Also I had given her my cell phone number and a man with an African accent started calling me asking me when I was going to send the money. I told him I wanted to speak to her and he said not until I send money and I downright refused. I had no intentions of it anyway. She claimed the hotel manager was holding her travel documents and the only way to get them back was to pay the money. I offered to contact the US embassy and she said that would not do anything. I contacted my congressman and his staffer said she could get duplicate docs at the embassy. I told her this and she totally ignored it saying it was not true and I had just been told this by a congressional staffer. The phone calls occurred before the money order was sent to me. I told her by email I did not want anymore calls from the manager because I had no interest in talking to him. She kept saying we were going to get married and have children together when she came home. She fed me more garbage that her parents were killed in an accident and had no family that could help. This was a well planned scam everything I tried to do they had something to counter it.

this site is well used by nigerian scammers. i used it 2 years ago and i must have reported 20 profiles while i was there a short time. i actually got so annoyed that i started to scambait them and had 3 of them going for over a week...lol. they want to get you right into im so they can run there script, which is usually same variation of sorts. the only thing that differed each time was the money they asked for, but this was based on how much they think you could afford easily, so i learned to make waves and sure enough the money asked for went up and up. the last one i decoyed got so pissed, that i kept him/her talking and found out that they (the workerbees of the scam) make very little money for their part in it. they do what they call mass mailings, which basically means they send an email to every male/female inbox they can and when someone answers they move you right to im and start the game, because they dont have a lot of time before they are found out by the website and there profile is shut down...

Singlesnet.com Fraud

My law firm is investigating a possible class action lawsuit against this company. Apparently, they send e-mails to people from individuals who are supposedly "interested." To respond to the e-mail you have to sign up for their service. However, it turns out that the e-mails are complete scam. If you have had problems with this website we would like to hear from you. I can be reached at [protected]@kcrlegal.com.

I signed up with Singlesnet.com for one month. I set my account up as a one month NO ROLLOVER account. I emailed Singlesnet at the same time I signed up to tell them I was only there for one month. Without my knoweldge or permission, they notified PayPal that I had a rolling account and PayPal allowed two more months of subscription fees to be taken. I contacted PayPal and Singlesnet. Although PayPal is at fault for allowing auto-billing I never authorized, they tried to help me recover the $53.20 Singlesnet.com owed me. Singlesnet has promised to refund the full amount on three occasions. They finally did refund half the amount because I had the PayPal rep on the phone. They still owe me $26.60. I want my $26.60 returned.

today the calls were directed to India and some of them claimed that they were at the corporate office though others claimed they had no billing in the US.. it was all in India.

They then began to ask me for my CC numbers.. ALL of them AND my address.. Phone to follow Im sure. This company is committing fraud. You cannot reach the US on any of the calls that I made. They only have one number listed and now I am immediately canceling my credit card to prevent fraud.

What you posted is true... not only that most of the people that write you are from Africa trying to get money with the same story over and over and over again. They tell you to write them on Yahoo.. they post fake pics saying they live in your area.. when you ask them landmarks they have no idea.

The people on this site are poor souls and sheep for the slaughter if you ask me!

Let me know if I can join the class action! dootzhead2000@yahoo.com

( I would never give out an email in a public forum but this account is all spam anyway).

I called again and a man named San answered.. he claimed that Leonard the man that took my info was a supervisor.. I could here one person only in the background taking information from someone else with an echo in the background like they were in a hollow room. He then tried to get the rest of my information including passwords. I would not give these people ANYTHING!..

Good luck!

Singlesnet.com Fraudulant/Scamming Dating Site

I was only on singlesnet.com for a couple of days. I was locked out of my mail because to receive "points" to stay active you have to submit the email addresses of other people you know.

ALL the profiles are fake, the first thing they ask is your email address so they can talk to you when they are already on a site to contact you.

Since the 2 days I was on that site Im now receiving 2-3 times a day fraudulant email scams telling me Ive won money and I need to pay so much to get my winnings, or scams similiar to that one.

This whole dating site is based out of Nigeria and it should be shut down along with several other's Ive run across that are the same.

I deleted my profile but I still receive email notices in my spam box that someone from that site has sent me mail. I clicked on EVERY notice I received to NOT receive email alerts and they still came and Im STILL receiving them with NO profile posted.

Everyone on that site INCLUDING myself had to give out our full names, addresses etc and this is information that can be used against us for these people to take out loans in our names, get access to our credit etc.

Something needs to be done to remove ALL of these fraudulant dating sites from the internet.

Singlesnet.com Scam and cheating

I was looking for suitable people to date and used Singlesnet.com. While it is true that people can lie really easy behind a computer or phone, screening should be a little better. I began dating someone I met on the site, he is married. Since March I have dated him off and on with promise that he will file for a divorce and has not done anything. This goes even further because he partially responsible for a grandson raised by him and his wife, which is a very spoiled and rude child. There is no intent of divorce and now his wife calls me looking for him when he doesn't answer the phone. Singlesnet, hmm, shouldn't you be single if your looking to date? One may wonder.

SinglesNet charges my credit card monthly. I can not e-mail others on site because SNet states I must upgrade. I have done this. When I complain to them, they send cryptic messages about how to override this problem. Their proposed solutions do not work. They must apparently employ nerds !

Apparently I need 50 additional words. Well, I will add more verbiage to fill this requirement. Who can I contact at their site a deal with someone who can send me logical instructions on how to get the services I have paid for!

Or, where is a toll free number.

Singlesnet.com Rip off

SinglesNet charges my credit card but provides no service. I have e-mailed them numerous times and never received a useful response. I have called them on 3 occasions and each time I talked to a "Nerd?". Although I have a upgraded account, I could not reply to any e-mails from interested people. The last straw was when, while on the phone with them, they deleted the names of all those who had previously contacted me!

Is there a means of recovering my $ or, a group that I can report them to?

I resigned on the 10th, the 11th and the 13th. They still charged me for another month. They told me they never got the resignations. Now I have to change my bankcard to prevent them charging me again and I did report them to the BBB in Dallas Texas. Singlesnet.com Fraud and scam

Singlestnet as well as most online dating sights are filled with the bottom feeders of america... i have tried several sights all have the same results... women post fake profiles, fake pictures, i have met several women for a "drink" and want to run home and destroy my computer... i have encountered many latin women who will arrive early, sitting at the bar, orders food and expect me to pay for all of it and i don't know or even like the woman... they seem to be very hungry... and broke... so this is the game... its not the sights, its the fat lying women who use the sights...

Singlesnet.com employees tampering with customer data

On 9/26/08 I updated 3 photos onto singlesnet.com and since this is a time consuming process i elected to leave the site open all night. When I awoke that morning I found that all of my data had been changed my race, description of myself and this long racist essay had been written about me. Since I live alone I knew that it had been executed by a singlesnet employee. A week prior to that I wrote my bio in a 2nd language french so that I might appeal to a particular consumer and this information was rejected nowhere in singlesnet rules does it state that a person must speak english. I wrote to them and they continued to reject my essay. I am very disappointed in this dating service and found this to be extremely unprofessional. I continue to try and contact this service to address this issue.

Singlesnet.com Total scam

I attempted to email someone i thought is very special. We had im'd once. my email was blocked with a message saying basically this person's sexuality is such that i would not want to talk to him. i was shocked at the message. Tried again, same thing. Later i am messaging, i had to ask this person about that. it was embarrassing, to say the least. He hung in there and convinced me he is not ***. What must have he thought? Lots of strange things happen on this site. This whole thing is habit forming and i try to stop. Haven't succeeded yet.

I to was a dumy. i was on a survey, took the trial offer and got scamed. there were no phone numbers on the offer but i thought there would be with the trial shippment.NOT, only a web sight. when i went to bring it up, all that would come up was a picture of the bottle of colonsmartcleasner, when i clicked on the bottle it would take me to another sight. i tried several times the same thing kept happening. So there i found a phone number so i called it. they kept saying they had nothing to do with colonsmartcleasner.needless to say i was very angry.then i thought well when it comes in i would just put on it return to sender and wait for a refund. well it never happend... my bank said they couldnt do anything for thirty days from the day i sent it back. so i waited filled the dispute and waited four days for the results.. well then i get the results from my bank... NOT HAPPY my bank sends me some copys off the internet from colonsmart stating there is only one way you can receive a refund.you have to follow four steps. one of thoughs steps are they do not except Return to sender packages as a way for refund. what they dont say is that package i sent back is theirs now and you get nothing for $88.98.now it said nothing about ANY policys when i ordered the free samples.and when i got the free samples it had nothing of any policys either. so im out the money and the FAKE product(COLONSMARTCLEASNER). OH DID I MENTION YHE PRODUCT DID NOTHING... Singlesnet.com Fake girls made up by SinglesNet

I would get a whole lot of "winks" when I first made a profile. Then I signed up, and they stopped... Hmmm. Then when I would talk to a girl for a few emails, we would trade regular emails and talk for a second, then she would reply with "why don't you check out my profile on ****site." Why would I want to sign up with another site if I already met you on one? Then, girls would cut to the chase and just start by emailing me with their site links. At least thanks for cutting to the chase so I can ignore you faster. Then I met a girl who later said she lived in Russia. Then she tried to ask for money for the trip (about 2 months later). Ummm... no thanks. Then when I finally found a REAL LIFE girl, she was about 50lbs heavier than she said. *** singlesnet.

I have been on singlesnet since February and have recently deleted my profile. The men on singlesnet are liars especially in their profiles. They make it seem like they are seriously looking for a monogamous relationship. However, each man I dated either was a married man or looking to seduce a woman to ***. Singlesnet does not screen or ask for proof that a person is not married. Therefore, it has become a playground for married men to fantasize and get cheap thrills. A cheaters haven. I detest this site as it offers nothing to women but make us prey to those men seeking to take advantage of us. I'll stick with E-Harmony which is a much safer site for women.

In the past it would have been easy to "filter" through the fakes, scams, bots, and other liars.

But the programming behind the fake profiles is getting more sophisticated. Especially in the singlesnet chatroom, there are multiple fake profiles running scripts of chat conversations with each other. This makes it appear that there are several people already in the chat room having a great time. So when you enter, and try to talk to others, you're not surprised if they ignore you.

Also, they've added keyword triggers. So if you type something with the keyword in it, like say "president", one of the chat bots will respond with a pre-configured response that is just generic enough to appear real, like..."I don't like President Obama's policies".

And I'm quite sure that there are live operators of these fake profiles available to step in if someone raises suspicion. So they can be programmed to alert the live operator if the chat room sees words like "fake", "bot", "spam", or "shill".

As these bots become more sophisticated, they can quite easily mimic some basic conversations and run scripts that are exceedingly difficult to catch on to.

The ONLY way to be sure you are talking to someone real is to have them take a photo of themselves with a hand written note with YOUR user name on it. And since this is quite a bit of trouble (I did it with a girl last night as an experiment, and took forever for her to get the pic to me).

There are plenty of real people on this site, and I actually have been on a date with one. And no dating site can eliminate scams from 3rd parties completely...but I'm convinced that singlesnet is part of the fraud.

Some of the patterns that I've seen serve no other purpose but to promote the singlesnet site itself and to try to keep people coming back and paying their subscription fees.

Not only is this blatant fraud, which should be the basis of a class action lawsuit, but any REAL people on this site should be upset at the amount of attention that is diverted away from them and focused on pursuing fake profiles.

Even if you're not a paying member, (most female users are not), then you should realize that when you go on the site or enter the chat room, the attention of other users is being distracted away from you by profiles with "too good to be true" pictures and descriptions. Then the fake users proceed to entice the other users with claims of liberal sexual habits and wild parties.

Some singlesnet users are promoting "meet & greet" parties, which do not appear to be sponsored by the official site, yet are rumored (by apparently fake users) to be very wild and have all the wildest fake profile bimbos brag about how drunk and wild they got.

FYI, here is the latest M&G party invite:
"Saturday, March 27th gathering at Black Bull Chop House 300 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA [protected] http://blackbullchophouse.com/ night club that features a mechanical bull and plays top dance music. Please let me know if you're able to attend. If you get there before 10:00 p.m. you can beat the $5.00 cover charge. A parking structure is across the street. If you come before 8:30 p.m. parking would be free but after 8:30 p.m. it would cost you $5.00. So, let's plan on getting there before then, do some serious dancing and having some fun."

Whether the party is in any way real remains to be seen. I can assuredly guarantee that the smokin' hot alleged users that said they would be there will NOT be there. Probably a dozen or so lonely guys may show and be quite confused at the lack of cute young singlesnet girls.

I have yet to see alleged photos of the previous alleged M&G. I have yet to be convinced that EVERY chatroom isn't seeded with fake profiles and shill users.

This WILL be uncovered. And trust me, I've been frequenting all kinds of chat rooms since before the modern internet existed...I've seen ALL the tricks. These people will be exposed.

Singlesnet most certainly is involved in this fraud and telling someone that they just need to "filter" better or that their profile comes off as too needy is just plain naive.

I've read many posts on this complaint, and I can already see that there are sellout shills posting claims of true love found just to throw people off.

Anyone that has actually had success with the site needs to prove it by posting photos of themselves TOGETHER, along with their usernames on the site.

Not all of us are fools.

I am on Singlesnet as a non-paying member and I have been told by several men that there are a lot of scams from people who just want their money, a ticket to the US, or want to direct them to there porn website.

I think you just have to be careful and NOT send them money for ANY reason, and NO airline tickets. Also make sure they already live in the US.

You just have to filter out all the scam members. I don't think Singlesnet is making up fake women. They really don't need to. There are tons of both men and women there already. I'm a real woman, born and raised in California, and just a normal person. I have also been told by several men that they joined just to talk to me, instead of just sending a one line flirt for free. ( I should be charging Singlesnet for the new members I get them...lol...) To make a first time contact, you have to be a paying member. I'm sure lots of women have men join just to talk to them and all Singlesnet has to do is sit there and collect the money. No need for fake women. The scam people on the site have nothing to do with the company and Singlesnet asks you to report all scams.

Of course... being a woman, and not having to pay to get emails I don't have any complaints about Singlesnet. That being said... I do understand when men pay to meet real women, honest and normal and all they get is scam people or women 15 yrs older then their photo and 75lbs heavier... there is a reason to be bitter.

Just sort through all the crap quickly and find the good ones.

Singlesnet.com Scam and fraud

Singlesnet.com, allows scam and fraud account people to be members. They do not screen the members enough prior to approving an account. There are men and probably woman, but as a female, I only ran across the men, whom identify themselves as living in the United States, and are really in NIGERIA, and SCAMMING thousands of dollars off of single innocent females.

I think this is a terrible internet dating site and would never recommend it to anybody, actually I am putting the word out not to join your internet service, because of your lack of screening and allowing FRAUD to happen.

Please Take This Serious,
Lucia Trites.

Singlesnet.com Beware

I have tried more than once today to report an issue to the singlesnet.com office. I have had two males ask me for sex. I wanted to know how to block the two from further contact. I get no response. If I don't get an answer tomorrow on how to block the contact I will report the service to my state attorney general cyber unit. Bet I get results then. Kentucky doesn't take kindly to cyber crime. The attorney general has an entire unit devoted to these type crimes. This is an absurd reason to have to complain to the atty general because the service should do something...unless they are promoting prostitution that is.

I was directed to Singlesnet.com by a posting on a truly free classifieds site. The person said it was a Cool site and she had posted pictures there. After filling out the questionnaire and joining for a free trial, her screen name was not there. ? The free trial lasts a whole day.

Meanwhile I am getting other baits like so-and-so is interested in you, but now the money must be paid in order to respond.

I have a gut feeling Singlesnet.com is fishing for business and not in an honest fashion!

I am more leery now about using any of these types of sites.

I can honestly say, I have never had a 'major' issue with Singlesnet services, any and all issues have been resolved..Im happy with the service..I am not an employee!
I have met a number of wonderful ladies and the those that I havent had the fortune to meet, I have had excellant conversation with..and thats even w/out me having a pic on this site!
If you sign up, use common sense, ur gut reaction to any red flag situation should be reacted to immediately and anyone who says they 'love you' right off the bat or are from Russia or the Moon, beware!

I have been a memeber (on and off) or about 4yrs!

Singlesnet has a few and a very few real members. Most of the profiles are either ringers (photos of models and made up profiles) or prostitutes soliiting business from lonely men. The real profiles are years old and if you give Singlesnet dot com your credit card number you will be billed at random for ever until you cancel the card altogether. You are better off trying to meet a decent woman by pretending to have lost your dog at the park than you are with singlesnet or match or eehk harmony (partner companies). Don't waste the 30 bucks a month to get put on a hooker mailing list!

Singlesnet.com All they do is make people angry

I have never gone to the singles net website, yet I am getting 20 to 30 emails or more emails a day from people trying to get me to go. I am NOT single and even if I were I would NOT use an online dating service. I want off of the mailing list.

Unsolicited emails are not going to get most consumers to go to a website. I won't even open these emails. I waste time deleting masses of the things. Whoever told singlesnet that this was an effective way of marketing was incorrect. All they do is make people angry.

I agree. Some idiot has used my yahoo email address to create an account with this organisation, which means that particular inbox is bombarded with emails from their members, all of which I will ignore/delete unread.

You can't even contact anyone to stop this nonsense; when you visit their website and write a complaint, a pop-up window tells you to call a non-UK number! Yes, right, as if I'm going to do that.

So, for those who have plenty of time to waste with this very poor marketing strategy, carry on, as I shall continue ignoring the spam from you.

Singlesnet.com Deceiving profiles and photos

I signed up expecting to meet real people. The fact that I have received over 7 emails from people claiming to be different people however they all had the same stories, etc. I lost someone 4 years ago and they are playing on that - all the emails are from phony people claiming to be widowers, with no existing family, claiming to have lost their wives in tragic accidents, got their degrees at Oxford, UK, with very poor English. The photos belong to someone else. They are unable to talk on the phone and want you to use messenger, and about the time you answer back they are going on a business or family trip and will be gone for some time, and their work takes them out of the country all the time. Don't know how they can be real if they have different photos and the same stories. They claim to be in love when they have never met or talked to you over the phone - I am a bit too smart to think someone can fall in love with one email! One of the pictures they used was of someone I know that has nothing to do with that site and feel they are using stock photography photos. Think they need to clean up their approach and stop deceiving people.

You are right... You do need to be careful... But I did this in another way... Your first question should be, " can you and will u pass a background check for me because of my profession? That helped from 20 responders to 3, , , , Then I did the backgrounds and all three checked out. I then started asking the important questions, "How do u help people every day? What role do you play in your families life? What do you need out of life? Where do you want to be in five years? " Well then, I narrowed it to two, spent another week and eliminated the one and was very kind and upfront with him and then finally met the other. I've been dating him for over a month and a half and the newness is wearing off and we are getting to know each other very well... and I can honestly say he is the first man whom has ever treated me as a lady... and in alot of ways he completes me so far and so i encourage everyone out there to use the site and just be a little more cautious, take charge, and ask the right questions... if you know from the get go that you aren't interested, move on... keep looking and keep talking... and when your day hasn't been complete because you haven't talked to your internet pals, you may have caught something... time and patience will pay off and work hard, because every good relationship is worth it..time you invest into someone else is never a waste of time, it's a journey. Good luck !
