Singapore Post (SingPost) receiving others letter in my mailbox

Yesterday when I went to open my mail box I received 3 letters but all belongs to other units. There was no letters for my family and I am worried that our letters might be placed into other's mail box. How could I received 3 letters all with different addresses placed into my mail box? This is really very unacceptable and irresponsible. Please look into this issue as this could lead to serious consequences if important information are leaked or credit cards goes missing.

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcel stuck at speedpost processing facility for 6 days and no signs of delivering

CNSGS0001444220 is stuck at Processing Facility for 6 days since 12Dec and have no signs of it being delivered. Called hotline and Live Chat for a few days. The outsourced hotline is always answered by Indians and they cannot even tell me when will my parcel be delivered. The standard answer was they are investigating and would update me ASAP, in 3 working days. How many more days do I have to wait for this parcel? "Speedpost" indeed. If your delivery is so slow, do not promise a 2 days delivery as stated on the website. I received a call only after I PM on SingPost facebook page, saying that they would follow up and update me again ASAP.
I will demand full compensation of both the goods and delivery fees in declared lost.
There's something seriously wrong with the workflow. My friend's parcel received on 13Dec at the Processing Facility could be delivered to her on the same day. My own parcel is still sitting inside the Processing Facility and collecting dust.
If all the parcels are being received and staying there due to the heavy workload from 11-11, 12-12 & Xmas sales, shouldn't the backlog be cleared ASAP? There must be a lot people like me waiting for their parcels to be delivered to them.
Please reflect on the SOP and workflow.

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcel no. cnsgs0001342945

8.19am 10 Dec - received a msg fr singpost that will deliver parcel today but i was in overseas. So i clicked the link in the morning about 8+am to request for delivery options to put the parcel outside my unit.

12.19pm 10 Dec - received msg fr singpost that parcel delivery was unsuccessful. Delivery / Collection advice at your door.

5.04pm 10 Dec - received msg fr Popstation to pick up at popstation by 15 Dec

9 pm plus 11 Dec - return back home but didnt see any delivery or collection advice

4.59pm 12 Dec - called singpost and spoken to Sunil to request for parcel deliver to my house since i am paying for doorstep delivery and why my request was not complied eventhough i submitted online? So what is the purpose of this link? Sunil said he will arrange delivery guy to bring phone and called me before he arrange the delivery to me but will takes another 3 working days to process.

7.36pm 13 Dec - received fr singpost that my item hv been processed and will deliver fr 9 to 6pm within 2 working days. I thought Sunil has arranged to get the delivery guy to call before delivery but now i am receiving such reply? Dont u think this range of delivery timing is such a big gap? How can u expect the person to wait at home based on the given time slot? Thats not productive and efficient. We hv other committment as well.

Besides, i dont understand why delivery man cannot hv mobile phone to contact me to advise me the estimate delivery time...

If you all not going to improve the timing and the SOP, then forever such similar issue will pop up and increase.

7.48pm 13 Dec - Spoken to Sarshid and she will arrange delivery guy to deliver tomorrow morning fr 9 to 10am this timing. I hope this time round, no more similar issue arise again and i will receive my parcel.

Thank you

To: Singpost

If your delivery time is 9 to 6pm during working days, this is not going to work...you cannot expect the person to wait at home for 8 hrs without stepping out of the house, moreover most of us are working. And also the estate i am living is a small condo project without any security nor management office to attend to you when recipient is not at home. Access card is required to access the gate and glass door inorder to enter to our premises. However if your delivery guy can call me before delivery, i can get my neighbours to help open the door. But your company has policy of not allowing them to hv handphone, then how to ensure doorstep delivery is successful? So meaning most of the time, delivery is always failed? Dont you think Singpost should come out with a solution? I know u all hv popstation. But not forgetting that we are paying premium for doorstep delivery.

If your company cannot fulfil such request, then pls REMOVE this service. Dont make inconvenience to us.

Very utterly disappointed...wonder do you all take in complaints seriously?

Singapore Post (SingPost) item delivered but never received

Item was delivered on 22 Nov when tracked online but nothing was delivered in mailbox. Checked with customer service and was told they will investigate and revert. Waited for a week and the reply from customer service was that item has been delivered to the address on 22 Nov! What kind of investigation is this? After waiting for a week, the reply is the same as tracking online! Checked with the seller and verified that the address is correct.

Singapore Post (SingPost) speedpost parcel delivery

This is a timeline of what happen
1. 30/Nov Call Singpost service line asked what's the date the delivery will reach, the person told me if it's early will be on Sat if not Monday latest 7pm.
2. 3 Dec, made 2 calls, one in the noon asking if the delivery will be coming today, he said yes latest is 7pm, 630pm made another call they told me to wait patiently, waited the whole day didnt recieved anything, no call no update saying delivery wont be coming today until 958pm where they updated the status to delivery failed due to unforeseen circumtances.
3. 4 Dec, when I called asked why the parcel didnt deliver they asked why didnt I check the status update, it was at 958pm I waited the whole on monday just to see it updated at 958, how ridiculous is this, secondly I asked why monday delivery failed shouldnt it be high priorty on a tuesday the person still told me if high priorty then what about tuesday delivery, this reply is really unacceptable and ridiculous, so are you telling me that my delivery suppose to reach on a monday didnt come so it is not your responsibility to delivery it by tuesday morning or even by tuesday? so within the noon I made a couple of calls all towards the supervisor to ask when will my parcel be here and they told me that I have to hold my calls because all are not free to answer my query, and when they did all told me that before 7pm once again I waited and keep waiting, until 745pm I called back to ask for the specific supervisor why didnt he call me back he told me he was on another call, so I waited again.
4. On wed noon they called me telling me that they were here but people refuse the parcel, I asked my entire family member if there was a parcel all of them told me they didnt recieve anything, this meant either they deliver it to the wrong address or they definitely didnt come at all. So he gave me a choice of whether I want it redelivered or self collection, I told him to ask for redelivery let me know the update whether if its possible, again he didnt call me back until I called him back, saying he was too busy, I waited the call for almost 4-5hrs. In total I spend about 100mins of time talking and holding on singpost line for the pass 3 days, parcel didnt come on wed which I needed it by monday. This is really unacceptable, because of this I incur a loss of few hundred to few k, and they keep delaying and there wasnt any compesation, they just keep telling me sorry about it, will send it by 7pm and didnt deliver and tell me next day wait till 7pm again and again from monday to wed, tomorrow is thursday and nothing is done, I donno where my parcel is, I donno if they can send it or where is it. Please follow up with me on this, this is really getting on my nerves and I am furious with the service, I pay a premium for this and I expect service to be top notch. But all I receive are irresponsibility and incompetency. I expect somebody to call me and follow up on this issue I have.

Singapore Post (SingPost) singpost delivery staff repeatedly place oversized parcels in letterbox that cannot be retrieved by residents.

Postmen are given a key to open up a "master door" that grants access to an entire block of letterboxes. The unfortunate thing is letterboxes are designed in such a way that the access door for individual letterboxes opens up a window that's smaller than what you get when the master door is used. Very often, postmen (or women) would squeeze in packages that can't be taken out through the resident's access door.

I have dealt with this problem for more than ten years, across 3 different locations I stayed. It has happened so many times I've lost count. I count a minimum of six times at my current residence, the longest I've stayed since I've moved out from my parents'. About half the time this happens, I'm able to tear open the parcel while it's still inside, remove the item, then twist and bend the remaining packaging as required to remove it. Sometimes the carton is visibly mangled to squeeze into the letterbox.

Two different postmen committed this error. I've had to intercept one when he came around the next day once. That guy retired and his replacement did the same thing. SingPost sent someone down just to retrieve my parcel. I spoke to both of these delivery men and explained the problem clearly.

Just last week this happened again and I had to open up the package inside the letterbox to get my item out. It then happened AGAIN yesterday and now I can't get the item out. Seems like there's been yet another change in staff servicing my area.

I've complained to SingPost about this problem (and various others) multiple times. Each time I tell them the same thing: solve the problem once and for all by making it part of staff orientation or training. How long does it take to explain this to someone? A minute? Clearly they never did this, because every single new guy does it.

I'm at my wit's end to get this to stop, it's a horrible waste of my time and energy just to get my mail. I've posted about this across social media, and of course submitted a useless complaint to SingPost. I'm looking for new outlets to highlight this longstanding problem in an effort to get SingPost to finally act on it.

Singapore Post (SingPost) mail delivery to letterboxes

The mailman who delivers letters to The Bayshore does not put the letters in far enough so that it drops securely into the box. Many times I could pull my letters out without opening my letterbox because part of them were still sticking out. This is unacceptable and a security hazard to me as any one else could also remove my letters. I also noticed that many of my neighbours' mail were also sticking out of their boxes. Please tell the mailman to put the letters completely into the letterbox.

Singapore Post (SingPost) my parcel got all the way to singapore only to be sent back to the uk due to 1 letter wrong on the address. parcel number lp020658454gb

Dear Sir/Madam
Parcel number LP020658454GB.
I writing to complain about the utter lack of common sense when dealing with the parcel concerned.
My son is studying at uni in Singapore at the moment and will not be at home at Christmas so I thought that it would be nice to send him a couple of things to make him feel at home.
I sent him Christmas cards, advent calendar to be opened on the 1st December and some other chocolates.
The parcel arrived in Singapore on the 23rd November giving my son plenty of time to pick the parcel up.
It is now being sent back because the address was supposedly wrong.
I have looked on the Royal Mail tracking and the problem is that Nanyang technological University was spelt Nanyans tecnilogical University.
1 letter wrong !
On the parcel everything else was correct
The accommodation was correct
The road. 62 Nanyang Crescent
The post code. 636958

The only thing wrong was one letter on Nanyang technological university.
This is completely unexexeptable as there is only one technological university on Nanyang crescent and only one resembling the name Nanyays(Nanyang).
There has been an utter lack of common sense and I want something done about this, as now my son won't receive his parcel now and ben if I sent it again it woul not get there in time as it was all supposed to be for the 1st of December.

I had a chat twice with the singpost chat people and they said it was the address was wrong.
It was not .
It was one letter !

I look forward to a positive response and outcome to this

Singapore Post (SingPost) late/delayed deliveries

Item was supposed to be delivered on 21st November via SpeedPost. Applied for leave to sign for my parcel as the item was urgent. Waited for an entire day before getting a text message at 19:45 informing me of failed delivery due to weather. I accepted it due to the heavy rain and since they said they were gonna deliver the item the next working day I let it go. On the second day, I waited for the whole day again, this time the postman didnt show up AND I was not notified of any failed deliveries. Called the Customer Service at around 20:30 and questioned as to why my parcel was not delivered on the next working day as per the tracking. CS Rep questioned me on where I got the info about the next working day delivery from. This shows that there's a lapse in the organization if such standardized practice is not known by the CS Representatives. Then, the rep told me they would deliver the parcel 'as soon as possible'...? I paid for SPEEDpost not because I wanted my parcel to be delivered according to their whims but because I want my parcel ASAP. Told this to the rep and he promised me he would get in touch with the delivery sector and have my parcel delivered the next working day. LO and Behold the parcel has yet to be arrived, I have not gotten any updates on my parcel and I've wasted another day of leave.

Singapore Post (SingPost) non-delivery by postman.

Hi, I'm writing in to complain that on 2 occasions, my parcel and letter were not delivered:

1) A parcel . Non registered. Attempted delivery : 14 Sept 2018.

I was home that day.

There was no attempted delivery slip at my door or in my mail. Only a reminder was received much later which gives only 5 days. By the time I saw the reminder, it was a day late.

I tried to call the hotline to find out if the parcel was still at the Siglap branch or where it had been sent to. But they couldn't help. They say there is no way they can connect to the individual post offices. I am aware that this parcel is not registered and thus cannot be traced. What I was hoping was for them to check if by any chance the parcel was still at Siglap since it was a day late. Or at least if central post office could check on the items just received from Siglap. Neither could be done. This I can understand. It must be tough looking through so many parcels.

It's 21 Nov 2018 today, and my package is lost in space because it got returned to UK. All because a postman would not carry out his duty.

So I next make a complaint about the post man. To this, the hotline asked for many details, checked with the post man, called back to verify more details and finally called and apologised about it and said that they will ensure that this will not happen again. I felt assured unfortunately not for long. But it just happened again.

2) A registered letter. Attempted delivery 7 Nov.

Again I was home. Again, no attempted delivery slip (that would at least have allowed me to ask for a re-delivery.)

Because I only saw the reminder on the last day, I rushed down despite a busy schedule. Spending $12 to and fro, only on returning to my apartment, I realise the staff at the desk had given me the wrong letter. That meant another ride to and fro. It's ok, people make mistakes. I can accept that even if it meant a double trip. But all this because a post man would not carry out the very thing he is employed to do. This is not acceptable.

Your postman would not even deliver a registered mail.

Points to note:

1. No attempt made to deliver at all. The attempted delivery slip is proof that he has sone the job but we were no home. He gets away without performing the basic. How completely blatant. On both attempted dates, I was home. I could not have missed him as there wasn't even an attempt to enter the lift lobby. The intercom is connected to our handphone and there were no missed calls.

2. Your hotline 1607 is useless. They follow protocols with no purpose. They ask for details, take down my number and name and say all the niceties. And then say I'm so sorry I can't help you with that.

3. So many cases but nothing is done! This time, I had brought the two reminder slips to the branch office with the intention of logging a complaint about the post man. I am appalled but glad that there are many same complaints in this area. Appalled that so many complaints and yet this man is still around? Glad that I truly have a case.

Singpost, What are you waiting for? Do you only respond if it goes public?

4. Nothing done with regards to my complaint via the hotline.

5. Not allowed to make a complaint at the branch. Why not? I am told by the counter staff I need to do it online. Already I had spent much time going back and forth to the branch office. I had previously spent much time on phone with your hotline staff. None of these were taken seriously. I need to sit down and write a complaint?! Little wonder the non-diligent postmen are getting brazen. Singpost is so reluctant to act.

Resolution:

Are you able to compensate all the monies I would have to spend to get my parcel back from UK? How about the monies spent to go to the post office to collect my letter? None of this would have happened if the post man simply carried out what he was supposed to do.

If this is insufficient to terminate his services, please change the post man in this district. There is simply no trust in Singpost if you can allow such behaviour from your employee to continue.

There have been previous instances. But now it's too serious and too blatant and consequences are so painful for me, I can no longer take this lightly. If I don't hear from you I will take this public.

Singapore Post (SingPost) registered article/package - date of reminder - 13/11/2018 last date of collection: 19/11/2018

I have received this Registered Article from Singpost that they are trying to deliver to our Co on 2nd Nov 2018, which is Friday from 9am to 6pm and as an office, we have office staff from 8.30am to 6.00pm and the postman said cannot reach us and we did not get any delivery notification and only 19/11/2018, we received the Registered Article and the Last date of Collection is today. OMG. what is this... i called the hotline and the indian staff asked me to go down to Yishun Central Post Office to try to collect the article as she is not sure whether it had been sent back to the sender.
This is an office and the postman cannot simply said not able to reach us, how can that be, unless he reached after 6pm which is not our fault.

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery

So on 12th November there was an attempted delivery but I wasn't home. So the courier left an instruction for me to collect at Whampoa popstation (near my house). I received it when I reached home and walked to the popstation that evening, but I couldn't retrieve the item. On 13th November, I went online to track the item and it says delivery will be attempted that day again. I wasn't home that day too in the afternoon, so when I reached home I walked to Whampoa popstation again, thinking that the courier will drop it off there again. After all, I had the barcode and instructions with me (left by the courier on 12th) to collect it. Unfortunately, it wasn't there again. I called and the service customer said the courier will be attempting delivery again that day. Ok cool. It was evening when I called.
On the 14th, I walked to Whampoa popstation AGAIN hoping that my package would be dropped there since it couldn't reach me, but nope it wasn't there. So I called again and the service customer told me it had been dropped off at NOVENA POST OFFICE. ?

So today, 15th nov, I took the bus, walked in the rain (having only the comfort of my umbrella), went to the Novena post office, and to my dismay there were like 10 individuals in front of me. Why Novena? This place is the go to for all the office workers. Perhaps singpost thinks I have too much time to spare? So now I have to carry this significantly large parcel along in the rain too woohoo. I'm currently sitting down and typing this to help regulate my emotions because emotional expression through language (just writing it down helps), and thankful for the live piano music I'm hearing now. Just a bad few days with singpost. Please up your game, thanks.

Singapore Post (SingPost) singpost driver

To whom it may concern,
On the 13th of November 2018 around 1830hrs, along Choa chu kang ave 1 towards Teck whye lane a Singpost mail collector driving a sing post van GBC 7889 S swerved from 3rd lane to 2nd lane nearly colliding with me, fortunately i managed to swerve to 3rd lane, he did not even signal, since it was red light, i looked at him and he wind down his passenger window and i asked him if he saw me, his reply was i was too slow so he just cut in, i told him it was red light and i needed to slow down, his reply was so what, he wasn't even apologetic about his actions and even sweared at me. I really dont understand even if he was rushing for time or made a mistake, cant he just say sorry? Instead he was cursing and his actions might 1 day cause a life of another road user.

Kindly feel free to contact me at: [protected] or [protected]@yahoo.com.sg

Singapore Post (SingPost) service

Hi there. I went to Singpost to collect my reg article. On 10 Nov. I understand that singpost operate until 1pm on sat I was there at 12.59pm? the door was alr lock that is ok. I understand as i'M late however the staff there don't even bother at least let me know that they are close and can't attend to me. I was standing there for 10mins hoping they could open the door for me. ( trying luck) eg. how can I assist or something. There were so many staff at the counter about 4-5? They just ignored. Really disappointed with singpost service getting really poor. At Bukit pangjang branch. I always liked the branch at orchard or kiliney. I think now I know why many people don't like to engage singpost for delivery or only go to certain branch. I don't think anyone would attend to this. Just hope the branch at Bukit Panjang can improve their service really. Thanks for reading.

Singapore Post (SingPost) letter and card deliveries

I always send birthday cards and letters to my sons family and they very rarely receive them. Could you tell me why?
This is the address I send them to:

Mr P Womersley
6 Ridgewood Close
The Trizon #10-06
Singapore 276697

Postage is not cheap and I do expect this to be delivered, especially in Singapore where everything is suppose to be so good. We always get good results here in the U.K, why can't you?

Yours sincerely
Marion Womersley

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcel was never received but singpost tracking system indicates as delivered

Hi. My parcel from DHgate, tracking number LA811290115CN was set as 'item delivered' on 5th Nov 2018. However there was no one home at the point the system updated this. I know, cause i was constantly monitoring the progress of the parcel status via the tracking system. When i reached home, i did not find any pink slip in the mailbox to indicate that a unsuccesful delivery attempt had been made as well. This has been a terribly horrific ordeal and it reflects lowly of the supposed international standards that Singpost is supposed to uphold. May i ask what had happen to my parcel ? Has it been dishonestly taken by the postman ? Please revert asap on this matter

Hi. Singpost got back to me and verified that the tracking number i had, has a different recipient name and address. Apparently, the sender had given me a wrong tracking number. Appreciate singpost for following up on my issue.

Thank you.
