Silverpoint Car Care Center (Car Wash) review: Car Wash Broke Car 4

On Sunday, 9/19/2010 we brought our car to SILVERPOINT to be washed (the manager on duty is name ABEL). While they had the car, ABEL and the other workers broke with windshield wipers and scratched the windshield beyond repair. ABEL immediately took responsibility for this (it could not have more clearly been their fault and they knew it). ABEL gave us a written, signed statement saying they would pay for all the damages. They asked us to get an estimate which we did in a timely manner. The estimate was more than they expected (we have a range rover with a heated windshield with a rain sensor). ABEL and SILVERPOINT immediately started trying to back out of their written promise and statement of responsibility. They came up with a whopper of a lie and said it was our fault because we did not turn the rain sensor off. The rain sensor was definitely off when we gave them our car. Furthermore, they never told us to turn it off and it was not posted anywhere that we had to turn it off but it was off - ABEL and SILVERPOINT will lie and say anything they have to to try and get out of their legal responsibility. They are bad, incompetant people who you can not trust. ABEL and SILVERPOINT lie and cheat. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO BE WASHED BY ABEL AND SILVERPOINT YOU WILL REGRET IT. They do not post legal requirements, they are not properly trained, and they put your vehicle at risk. While we were there we saw them break another car. They said "See we break cars all the time don't worry." We are not on the hook for a $500 deductibnle with our insurance company and we even had to pay for the car wash! DO NOT TRUST ABEL AND SILVERPOINT THEY DO NOT CAR IF THEY DESTROY YOUR CAR.
