signlantic / This was highly unprofessional
Nearly 2 months ago I went to @lantic so that I could upgrade to an ADSL line. Christo from @lantic Klerksdorp phoned me on wednesday 23 sept 2009, informing me that I can collect my router later the afternoon. I asked him what time their offices close. He said 17h00. I clearly stated to him that I will be there just before 17h00 and that they must PLEASE wait for me.
At about 15h30 I phoned Christo to re-confirm that the router is there and that I can collect just before 17h00. Christo said that it is no problem, they are on the way from Johannesburg with the routers. I work till 16h45 so I drove like a mad person just to be there in time. I got there at 16h55 to find NO ONE at @lantic!! I knocked but the door was locked. I phoned and no one answered. I figured that they did not have the routers yet and made a quick getaway before I arrived. As yesterday was a holiday I could not get hold of them. First thing this morning, I contacted Christo and he had the ordasity to say to me they were there till 17h10 but that is a lie. They should just have been honest with me from the beginning and not lead me on a wild goose chase. This was highly unprofessional.
