Sierra Pacific Windows Windows and doors

EXTREMELY disappointed in these windows and doors. I spent over 40k for 5 windows and two doors and they are so poorly made I was shocked the installer even installed them!

the doors are very hard to open (you should be able to open them with two fingers) the installer said, "just put pledge in the track". I should not have to pledge the track of a brand new door. The worst part is the actual manufacturing. After waiting SIX months (yup, six), they finally arrived and were clearly made on an assembly lines of non professionals. There is goop oozing from each corner. The paint on the wood frame is dripping. The screens did not come with the windows (still waiting).

I cannot believe a local and trusted window company would sell these. I wanted to install Marvin and I should have. Not worth the money at all

Sierra Pacific Windows sierra pacific french door and windows

ordered 11/8/21 with expected delivery 2/1/22. arrived 4/23/22. door ok...window had wrong cladding color. french door swelled and was un-closeable for one week in august when temperatures were near 100. reordered window arrived end of june. window has two operating units. interior of french door and windows are pre-finished black walnut. i received white screens for the two operating windows which are unsightly and ruin the appearance of the window and the room they are in. totally unuseable.

customer service is non-existent. tried to get info on wood species so i could match interior trim (which i think they shoud sell with their products) which was useless. i tried to chat with them regarding these issues and after typing all this info in was given a pop-up form to complete that would give me advise from an expert if i paid them $1. when i contact them by phone and told them this, they transferred me to another office which did not answer and did not give me the opportunity to leave a message. my supplier, lakeland/interstate lumber should never have sold me this product. i should have went with marvin or pella.

Desired outcome: 1. provide exact wood species and stain brand/color so i can get interior trim to match door.2. advise me why door swelled and have issue corrected,3. provide new screens color compatible with windows

Sierra Pacific Windows Windows and French doors

Our installation of 5 casement, wood windows and 3 French doors with sidelights began in 2018. After the install, we began hearing very loud popping noises very late at night, similar to a firearm being discharged in the house. We notified Sierra Pacific of the noises and they scheduled a repair visit. That visit was cancelled due to Covid. Now over a year later, I contacted them twice, but they have failed to respond. My next step is seeking legal advice.

Desired outcome: Repair or replace the windows and doors.

This is from Aug 2021. Have you gotten this addressed yet? I'd like to hear how this worked out before ordering my alum clad wood windows and doors for my new home in CA.

Sierra Pacific Windows Windows imploding

I have installed a whole house full of expensive windows that are now starting to implode. The first one took me by surprise. After the second one, I started to expect more to follow. It is very disappointing as these were expensive aluminum clad wooden casement windows, not something that I want to replace this soon after building. Reputation is everything in this world and I am sorry to have learned too late about this.

Sierra Pacific Windows Poor Quality/Poor Service

I ordered 10 windows for a remodel. Not one of them was delivered without gouges in the wood, two windows had cracked casings and all of them had adhesive leaking out from the pane separators. I was told by the company that these are problems that any good painter could fix. So you pay them for a inferior product and then you pay again to have a "good" painter fix the problems. However, the underlying problems are still there. The sales people will promise you whatever you want to hear and then when they don't deliver on their promises, they will make any excuse as to why it is normal for them not to have delivered on their promises. Its a cheap product, poorly made with extremely rude and condescending support staff. Stay as far away from this company as possible.
