I was sent and charged for duplicates that I did not order
I ordered magnets for my family. I ordered one for each of my family and friends. I was sent 8 duplicates. Randomly and without my authorization. I have tried to contact them, got to an agent on their chat and now the agent will not respond to me. This is absolutely unacceptable and I the lack of assistance makes me feel like something weird is going on. I thought maybe because I went in to edit the photo it caused duplicates but I was sent one, two, or three of the final product. When I reviewed my order there were no duplicates.

My desired resolution would be to return the duplicates and receive a refund for the cost. I don't understand how duplicates were added to my order in the first place.
Took groupon but didn't credit me!
I placed a graduate card order, and tried to apply the groupon I purchased. I tried at least 10-15 times to get the discount to somehow show up on the final cart order. It never worked, and I ended up paying full freight. Wasted the better part of 2 hours trying to use the discount code.
shutterfly needs to refund my credit card the FULL VALUE of the groupon that they blocked me from using. I will never order from you again.

Pictures have not arrived

I ordered prints and they were shipped on November 23rd. they were in Terrell texas on November 23 then went to morrow Georgia on the same day and arrived back in texas on November 23rd again. they arrived in Carrollton texas on November 26th and are not arriving until November 30th. I am planning on ordering more pictures soon and was wondering if I could get free shipping on my next order. I have sent two emails to which I have gotten no response yet. thank you
delivery of special occasion photo book
I spent days and days designing a photo book for Father's Day. The books were offered for a Father's Day promotion. I submitted my order once I checked that the merchandise would arrive on time. It showed that it would, so I placed my order. I checked over the 2 week production time and it was shown to be delivered the day before Father's Day. Sure enough, one day before the delivery date, the website changed the delivery date to the day AFTER Father's Day. This item was to be an important part of an extended family gathering for my elderly father. If Shutterfly is marketing to special occasions and holidays, it seems like it should be accountable to making these deadlines. Especially when they are promised when the order is placed. Do not trust this company. Do not pay their ridiculously high shipping rates. Fraud.
terrible customer service

they have shipped my order to a different address I mentioned onсe when I placed my first order 2 years ago. This time I changed the address, of course, and checked everything before ordering, but something went wrong anyway.
I called them four times and each time I was on hold for 30-40 minutes waiting for someone to pick up or they just transferred me to another rep who didn't know what to say and promised to call me back.
God, what's wrong with you? It's not a rare problem, I think. Stop being childish (facepalm).
no respect for privacy
Be careful uploading your personal pictures to Shutterfly.com. They don't guarantee any safety at all and your pictures may be stolen even after you deleted them. Yes, not everything is so easy.
All the photos are saved on their servers and physically you have nothing to do with fully deleting them.
Please, be very very very careful. I hope my complaint will prevent you from doing so.
picture order
I ordered almost 300 4x6 pictures and 80% of my pictures are cut off. When downloading from my phone the pictures were clear and full sized. On the screen when I clicked the picture everything was shown nothing was cut off. I downloaded all the pictures from my phone. I have no idea why the pictures were cut off. I have never had issue with Shutterfly so this is the first. I would like another order with full pictures. Thank you!
poor customer service
I placed an order with ShufferFly and when I received my shipping confirmation, I noticed they had the wrong address. I called ShufferFly to verify my address and they indeed had my current address, but inadvertently sent my merchandise to another address. I asked the customer service rep to resend my order to the correct address and she said she couldn't due to a 14 day return policy. Which states, if the item gets returned after 14 days, they will give me the option to continue with the transaction or cancel the order. If the item does not get returned, they will cancel my transaction and refund my credit card. I explained, due to time restraints I don't have 14 days to wait for an outcome and requested an immediate credit to my account. The Customer Service Rep said she could not credit my account with in the 14 day waiting period, so we needed to wait. This makes no sense, as I made it clear I wasn't accepting the merchandise anyway and I should be entitled to a credit, as they charged my card for something I'll never receive. So, the Customer Service Reps solution was to file a claim with my credit card company to stop the transaction between ShufferFly and myself. I thought "REALLY!" My solution consisted of contacting UPS and having the package rerouted to the correct address. Although this did cost me an extra $22, I managed to get my merchandise delivered to the correct address and on time.
C'mon ShutterFly this was an easy solution!
don't use!! lack of guaranteed delivery! photobook
I spent 8 hours putting together a photo book for my parent’s 50th anniversary. I had gathered 50 years of photos and created a 50 page book. I then paid extra for guarenteed shipping. It was guaranteed to deliver today (1/9/2017). No book! I had even used the chat the day before because the book had still showed in production and they told me that I should not worry because it is guaranteed to deliver on the 9th. When I called they told me they would send a note to try to rush the order to be here in time for the anniversary but could not guarantee delivery. Also, she said she could refund the extra shipping I paid she was only refunding a portion of it because part of the order shipped. I said I didn’t pay extra for part of the order, I paid extra to guarantee the entire order would arrive on time. I am so frustrated, disappointed, and angry! Now I have to figure out what to do for my parents. I will never use this company again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience.
Actually, by law the shipper is absolutle responsible for items arriving on time, and if they won't they are required to inform the customer and offer a full refund cancellation option. When you set a date of arrival it must be honored or it is fraudulent.
No one anywhere can guarantee delivery by a certain date. Weather, disasters, individual issues, and more cannot be predicted and can sometimes affect delivery. They should compensate you for your shipping, but you should be understanding of things that are out of their control.
shutterfly gift card
I received Shutterfly gift card with $20. I wanted to order something from Shutterfly using this card, but something went wrong and their site gave me an error page. I contacted customer service and they said that I need to try again. I tried again and nothing happened. The worst part was that customer service did nothing to help me! They said that I need to try again later and that was it. I'm very disappointed with Shutterfly.

I have ordered a photo book from www.shutterfly.com as a gift for my parents for their 30 year anniversary. I have uploaded many pictures, most of them were HD quality photos.
When I received the book I was shocked how terrible pictures looked like! Quality of the printing was terrible, everything was blurry!
I contacted customer service and asked them to redo everything but they said that there was nothing wrong with the book and claimed I sent them low quality pictures. Never again!

Shutterfly customer service only wants to refund you by giving you credit so you have to buy more subpar products that they do not stand behind. Here is what they told me about a defective product I received. "Another order may happen again and we won't be able to reorder it each time it's damaged" This was a product that came from their supplier defective. So if reordered it may come in defective again!? And they wont reorder if it's damaged!? Wouldn't you think they would make their supplier send you a non-defective product? Shutterfly is definitely more than disappointing. This replacement was for a product that started falling apart in less than 4 months. And that was a replacement for one that broke! They initially had a guarantee of scratch proof and crack proof, that is no longer on their site for this product. So it seems like their sub quality is not only limited to their photos and shipping but rather it applies to their company as a whole. Thre are other choices available and this company won't be around for long if they continue to operate like they are.

I was supposed to get my order in 10 business days and nothing arrived! Their delivery service is extremely slow and it takes a lot longer than I expected. Item that I've ordered was supposed to be a birthday present for my dear friend and his birthday already cam and went and still no present. What a terrible company Shutterfly is! Their ruined everything!

I had ordered a photo book for my mother's 70th birthday. I ordered well in advance and paid extra for shipping so it would arrive on time. The site stated the delivery date was "guaranteed". But it did not even arrive by that date.So I called their customer service and they told me there was a problem with my order. Well, they actually messed up my order. They told that they would fix the problem and send my photo book as soon as possible. Few days later I received a message that they will give me a refund. And they said nothing about photo book. So disappointed and angry! After all the hours I have spent making the book! Terrible!

Watch out they threaten me you're is going to press charges against me saying anything wrong against them. I even had cold enforcement on my side and contacted channel 12 news and got told that they cannot represent me it would be like going against her own. I tried to contact lawyers in Georgia and South Carolina and they said the same thing. My issue was black Mold, Plus they wanted me to pay taxes on the home but I didn't own it and they said that I was financing it when in all reality I was renting to own it. Augusta tax commissioners office is also involved in this and the government of Augusta. Watch out! I am legal documents that only the government officials of Augusta could have and I had to go into hiding out of the county but now needless to say I have left state. I was only four months away from owning my home in Butler Creek... Watch out if you're going to speak against them and make sure you have a lawyer that is going to represent you. I had stayed officials outside of my home when I had to go into hiding because of the documents that I had. Needless to say when I left state I left those documents there in my old home for a reason. I don't know if they got into the right hands or not.

Butler Creek and the property managers and staff there have never given me reason to believe that they are corrupt or dishonest. My family and I have lived here for almost 10 years and have never had a problem or a complaint. Butler Creek is a family oriented community and they have all kinds of resident events and activities that my kids love to go to. We love it here. Anyone who has bad things to say probably don't want to live by the rules or don't want to pay their rent.

I used to live there too, and I know for a fact that corruption is a way of business for the Property Managers & Company (CAL Financial), which doesn't even exist, and is not a real company! Dr. Beckles, was a good neighborhood watch leader who helped clean up the crime in the neighborhood, I was sorry to see him & many good neighbors leave.. When they left, left!

lack of performance
Someone has turned this company over to the computers and off shore accounts. Placed an order on 6 Spetember and promised by 9 15 at latest. Could not get any response until "ten business days after shipped". Then we find from USPS that the shipping number we were given was invalid - it was never shipped. After long hold with terrible music got a girl in India that could not understand - she couldn't even spell Dallas. Sent two emails to customer service - no answers but today got an autoresponder asking how my cs experience went! They have promised to reorder and "expedite" but it is the 21st, no pictures, and no company response. Really a tragic case of a good company being taken over by technocrats who have forgotten the customer

Shutterfly is a rip off. I paid extra (dearly, mind you, but it would have been worth it) for delivery a certain day and when I found out I wouldn't get it that day, they tell me there isn't anything they can do about it. They just keep repeating what the email says, "Delivery will not be until Oct. 1." BEWARE SHUTTERFLY delivery options. I will comment again when I see the actual product. Hopefully, it is better than their customer service. BEWARE SHUTTERFLY.
not 100% guarantee
I ordered photocards and photos which I received. However they were off color and I had them made at another place where the same photo came out perfectly. I asked about their 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed and was told I could pay to have them returned for credit. Otherwise I could have them reprinted with a different message? *why when it was the photo that was wrong?*, or credit and have an order printed in the future.
I did not want any future orders. I was totally unhappy with the phrase 100% guarantee... They only give you want they want to give you. I asked for a label to return the product but was told I would have to pay to return them even though their color was wrong. They insisted they used quality products and they would not refund my money.
Who wants to use a company that doesn't stand by their guarantee.

sent my family calender to stranger
I ordered a calender with my family photos on it and pictures of my husband in his military uniform. My package arrived from shutterfly and instead of it containing my calender, it had a strangers family photos in it! They had mixed up my order with someone elses!
When i called them about it I was on hold waiting for customer service for 45 minutes, finally someone with a thick foreign accent attempted to help me. He said he would replace it but that there was no way to findout who had recieved my photos! I requested a call back from a manager. I recieved one two days later from the RUDEST man ever! I am a calm person but he really really got under my skin. He cut off my sentences, lectured me and was rude to me! And this is the man who represents this company. it was horrible. He told me that things like this happen at shutterfly and it was my fault for ordering from an online company and not a local company. i couldnt believe it.
So the long at the short many emails and complaints later, no one can figure out where my calender ended up. All my family photos on a calender now in strangers hands. Thank you shutterfly

reservation rewards charges
Shutterfly gave out my credit card number to a company called Reservation Rewards. they charged me $12 a month for 23 months until I realized it. I called them and they said I authorized it, which I would never do. Shutterfly is shady. DO NOT USE!
