Shri Arihant Computer Geeks / Airtel : : Complaint - Services - &A serious issue&
I am writing this after having several conversations with Airtel's Customer Care regarding my Broadband. Request nos. 86605, 3004452, 3063046, 3063148, etc.
I have given a request regarding shifting of landline and broadband from my old residence to new residence on 30th December’07. But it no action was taken on it till Thursday, 3rd January’08, until I spoke to your CCE. Then I was promised that it would be done on Thursday itself. But actually it was done on Friday night (was accepted by me). After then till date I’m waiting for my connection to get activated. I am getting no dial tone or data link in my connection.
Again on Monday when I called up the customer care, executive said that it would be activated within 4 working hours, otherwise I will getting a claim of Rs.100/- per 4 hours. Since this was promised to me yesterday at 2:25 PM and now at the time of writing this email its 3:55 PM of next day. Means its approx. 25 hours.
Now I request you to suggest me whether should I continue with the services or not. Since firstly, I am not going to pay for the 10 days of my no-service period.
Secondly, I would be claiming this amount for all the hours of no – service. That’s shall be exceeding Rs. 700/- approx. Now if I add both the amount (10 days rental and Rs. 700/-) it would be more than one month’s bill.
Above all I am not asking you anything for the mental harassment that I have faced due to all this. (waiting for connection, calling up your CCE, holding the line on CCE’s request and then again listening to that my services would get on track very soon)
I would request you to look into the situation and suggest me the best possible alternative otherwise I need to choose the alternatives with some actions.
It’s a serious issue now; I have once more called up your customer care division, where your Floor Supervisor, Raju Biswas is saying that I have misguided your executive by saying that my line is dead. Whereas I never mentioned that my line is dead. I said that there is no connection on my line.
Now every time I have to listen that it’s a technical fault. Are the servers or the technical machines in Airtel so poor???? Airtel is such a big organization and I can’t expect this from such a reputed organization.
