unable to use my account credit
I had a credit on my account of 183.99$. I have not been able to use this for purchases. Everytime I email to have the problem resolved, I get a run-around. My last email was never even responded to. When I try to access my account now, my email is not even recognized. My last response from shop.ca was in July 2018, stating that my email was received and my concerns were being looked at. I have been more than patient and will now take further steps to make myself whole if my concerns are not addressed promptly.

This company is a total failure in every perspective! Their customer service is next to nothing. Their website is like a scum that can trick you every step of the way!
I purchased a computer monitor from them because I have some unused store credit that is going to expire. Before completing my order, I applied the credit and saw it was being deducted from the total purchase amount, next thing you know the system still charged the full price, and I have to go through the customer service by writing an email to have the credit applied, which is a long process and the company always charge your card first upon the order placed.
After a long wait for about 3 weeks, I received my shipment, but the hdmi line was missing from the package. How are you supposed to use a monitor without a cable! I notified the company immediately, it took them about a week to get back to me, saying you have to contact the factory yourself. Ok, fine! I contacted the factory, but being told the service tag I have is not valid, and I have to go through vendor to acquire more info. I wire another two emails to shop. Ca to explain my situation, and waited for another week or so, the email I received is "sorry for the delay"! That's it….. No more content! And they closed the matter based on that response! What the hell! Another week has gone by, I have not received any response for them.
As a result, I have to buy the hdmi line from amazon and surprisingly found the monitor's hdmi port is not working! And that's probably the reason why they do have cable in it, and factory cannot find the record based on service tag! It is a defective product! They sold you a defective product and try to drag on the time, so you cannot return it!
This is their business model! What a scum!

I always wanted to know why they charge us before shipping before we receive anything.
It's not really fair, don't you think? Because in this case there's only one side that wins and it's the seller. He/she will always get the money, but at the same time can't guarantee that your order will be delivered.
Same here. I paid but didn't receive anything. The seller cares nothing about it because they got my money and now they can blame anyone: the delivery service, the post office or me for being so naive...

charged my credit card but refuses to ship item
Ordered an item on July 23.
Emailed shop.ca on Aug 3 to update my shipping address.
They responded that the item was on back order for 4 weeks.
I responded to continue with the order.
On August 23 my credit card was charged.
On August 31 I asked for updates to my order.
Shop.ca responded saying that the item was on back order for 1-2 weeks.
I told shop.ca to continue with the order.
On September 28 I asked for an update. I mentioned that the item is listed as in stock on their supplier's web page.
I received a response that the supplier was having tech issues.
On October 18 I asked for an update on my order.
I was told that the supplier is still resolving tech issues.
On October 29 I asked for information on what the tech issue was.
I was told that the supplier had a tech issue which prevented the shipping of orders.
On November 2 I contacted the supplier, who told me that the item was in stock, and that there was no problem with shipping orders. I forwarded this information to shop.ca.
I was then told that the supplier is unable to view orders from shop.ca. Shop.ca claims that this is a problem on the supplier's side, however this is a very easy to solve problem. Just phone the supplier, or email the supplier, or use the supplier's website to make them aware of my order.

I have an issue with www.shop.ca and I can't reach customer service.
About two months ago I placed an order on this website and paid for the product. Waited weeks and nothing showed up, and when I contacted customer service they said that my order was cancelled the same day as I made it! No one ever told me anything! I asked for a refund and within a week I received my money back.
About three weeks ago I made another order. That was the biggest mistake I've ever made! Like the first time they took my money and I received a payment confirmation. But there was no tracking number so I decided to ask them if everything was ok but this time they did not reply! For three weeks now I'm trying to get some response from these people! I have no idea was my order shipped or not, or maybe it was cancelled again!

refunds take way too long to process
Free delivery and free returns, but it takes forever to get a refund. It's been almost one month since I returned a dress and I still have not received my refund. I've sent emails and called them. They keep telling me they are escalating and will contact me in two business days. Well all these days have come and gone and still another. This will be the last time I purchase anything from Shop.ca. I caution anyone who plans to buy anything from them, unless you don't care about refunds.
the delivery took a lot of time
Don’t buy from the company www.shop.ca. I have bought set of pans and pots, but it took ages to get the order. I called to the customer services, but the reps told that they were in process of the delivery. Also they gave some useless numbers, which were useless and it was impossible to track the order. It was the worst deal and services, which I have had before.
