Shopbop Shopbop Review: False Advertising and Shady Business Practices

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Shopbop. I thought I did my research before making a purchase, but turns out this company is not as great as they make themselves out to be. I saw their ad on Google claiming they have a 4.8-star rating for reviews, but I'm starting to think those reviews might be fake.

One thing that really caught my attention was their promise of free returns. As someone who loves to shop online, this is a huge deal for me. You never know how something is going to fit until you try it on, so the ability to return items for free is a major selling point. But when I tried to return something just two days after receiving it, I got hit with a surprise charge. What the heck?

I checked their website again and saw that they clearly state they offer free returns within 15 days of receipt. I returned my item well within that timeframe, so I should have been eligible for the free return. But nope, they charged me anyway. And when I tried to email them about it, my message got bounced back three times! Turns out their customer service email address doesn't even exist. What kind of company does that?

So I had to call them to sort out this mess. And when I finally got through to someone, they told me that the 15-day return policy actually starts from the day I placed my order, not the day I received it. That's not what their website says at all! It's like they're trying to trick customers into thinking they're getting a good deal when really they're just overcharging us.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they've been doing this to other customers too. It's such a shady business practice. I wish I had read more reviews before making my purchase. There are plenty of other online shopping websites out there that offer better experiences and don't try to cheat their customers. Save yourself the headache and avoid Shopbop.

Shopbop Disappointing Experience with Shopbop: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service

I recently made an order with Shopbop on June 19th. As a Prime member, I was excited to receive free 2 day shipping. However, I was disappointed to find out that my package had not arrived by June 23rd, even though Shopbop claimed to have shipped it on June 20th. When I tried to track my package using the tracking number provided by Shopbop, the USPS website informed me that they had not yet received it from the sender. I then went to the Shopbop website to see if I could find any additional information. Unfortunately, all I found was a message saying that my package was "Delayed" without any further explanation.

I tried to contact Shopbop through every available method, but I had no luck. Their live chat was not working, and when I called customer service, I was put on hold for over an hour before giving up. When I tried calling again, I was disconnected multiple times. I also sent multiple emails, but all I received were identical form messages telling me to call their phone number.

After hours of trying, I finally managed to get through to a person on their telephone customer service. He apologized for the delay and told me that my package was likely lost. He offered to resend it and even offered to request that the package be overnighted. He promised to keep me updated on the status of my package.

However, it is now June 24th, and I still haven't received any updates. When I checked the Shopbop website, I saw that they had once again claimed to have shipped the package, this time using UPS. However, UPS claims that they have not yet received it. When I called Shopbop again, the representative told me that they never requested the overnight shipping as they had promised the day before. She assured me that UPS has the package and that it will arrive next week, but UPS disagrees. This means that I will have to wait at least 8-10 days after my original order, which was supposed to arrive in just 2 days.

This was my first time ordering from Shopbop, and I doubt that I will be ordering from them again. I would advise other potential customers to be cautious when ordering from this company.

Shopbop Disappointing Experience with Shopbop: No Guarantee for Defective Jeans

I had a really bad experience with Shopbop recently and I feel like I need to share it with everyone. I bought a pair of Agolde jeans for my wife in February 2022 and after only a month and a few wears, the skin on the jeans started to burst. We were really disappointed and decided to call Shopbop to see if they could help us out. We sent them some photos of the damage and explained the situation. We knew that most companies offer a guarantee of up to 6 months for clothes and 1 year for shoes, so we were hoping to get some kind of service or return for the item.

Unfortunately, Shopbop didn't offer us any kind of solution. They said that too much time had passed since we bought the jeans and that they couldn't offer us a return or any kind of guarantee. We were really frustrated because we hadn't even washed the jeans yet and they were already unusable. We couldn't believe that a company would treat their customers like this.

I'm going to look into whether it's legal to sell clothes with no guarantee at all. I live in Europe and it's really hard to imagine a company treating their customers like this. It's really disappointing because we had heard good things about Shopbop before and we were excited to try them out. But now we won't be shopping with them again.

Shopbop Disappointing Experience with Shopbop: Slow Return and Refund Process

I gotta say, my experience with Shopbop was not the best. I mean, if I could give them zero stars, I would. The return and refund process was so slow, it took almost three weeks! I wouldn't recommend buying from them if you don't want them to hold onto your money for that long. I placed an order on February 26, 2019 and received it on March 6th. Unfortunately, I had to return an item on March 7th. The return finally made it to their return center on March 20th. Now, I've shopped at high-end retailers like Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom before, and they always process refunds as soon as they receive the return. But not Shopbop. They need FIVE days just to confirm that they received the return, even though the tracking shows that they did. It's March 23rd now, and I still haven't received a confirmation email from them, even though my return was delivered on the 20th. I used to be a loyal Shopbop shopper, but after this experience, I don't think I'll be shopping with them anymore. And neither should you!

Shopbop Shopbop Review: Disappointing Experience with Wrong Color Sent Twice #suchadisappointment

I recently made a purchase on Shopbop, a well-known online retailer, for a pair of Puma Thunder sneakers in the creme Tan color. I was excited to receive my order and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in just 3-4 days. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered that they had sent me the wrong color. I immediately reached out to their customer service team in hopes of getting the correct color, but unfortunately, the size I needed was out of stock. I was really upset because I had my heart set on that particular pair of sneakers. In the end, I had to go through the hassle of returning the shoes for a refund.

Fast forward to last week, and I was once again searching for the same pair of shoes online. To my delight, I found that Shopbop had restocked the size I needed. I was thrilled and quickly placed my order. However, my excitement was short-lived as, once again, they sent me the wrong color. This time, I had to rely on a family member to return the shoes for me as I was not in Singapore at the time.

To their credit, Shopbop did offer me a $30 voucher to use on my next purchase. However, I'm not sure if I would be willing to take the risk of ordering from them again. It was such a disappointment to receive the wrong color twice, and it makes me question their quality control processes. Overall, I was left feeling frustrated and let down by my experience with Shopbop. #suchadisappointment :(

Shopbop Shopbop's Return Policy Leaves Customers Feeling Frustrated and Disappointed

Shopbop is a website that I recently stumbled upon while searching for some new clothes to add to my wardrobe. At first glance, I was impressed with their selection and the prices seemed reasonable. However, after reading their return policy, I was left feeling disappointed.

The website boasts a "free return" policy, which sounds great in theory. However, upon further inspection, I discovered that you only have 15 days from the time you place your order to have the return back to them. If you don't meet this deadline, you will be charged a $10.00 shipping fee. To make matters worse, they also state that return shipping can take up to 7 business days, leaving you with a very small window of time to make a decision.

As a busy working mother, I don't always have the time to open a package, try on the items, and decide whether or not to keep them within 2-3 days. This policy has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Even when I have shipped the items back as quickly as I can, I still end up facing the fee.

In my opinion, a 15 day return window is simply not enough time. The industry standard is a 28 day return window from the time of delivery to when the return is mailed out. This is a fair and reasonable policy that allows customers to make an informed decision without feeling rushed or pressured.

Until Shopbop changes their return policy, I won't be shopping on their website again. It's a shame because they have a great selection of clothes, but their policy just doesn't work for me. I hope they take customer feedback into consideration and make the necessary changes to improve their service.

Shopbop Shopbop: No Recomendado para Compradores Europeos - Costosos Aranceles y Cambios Complicados

Si vives en Europa, te recomiendo que no compres en Shopbop. La página web no especifica que te van a cobrar impuestos en los aranceles, lo que hace que el precio parezca más bajo de lo que realmente es. Hay muchas otras páginas web de compras europeas o del país donde vives que no te cobrarán este impuesto y te permitirán cambiar el producto si no te queda bien. En Shopbop, "te permiten cambiar", pero para hacerlo, tienes que devolver el producto (lo que puede costar 20$ desde donde estés) y volver a hacer la compra (lo que puede resultar en que te cobren otra vez los aranceles y el costo de envío si la compra no supera cierta cantidad de euros).

Personalmente, compré unos pantalones en Shopbop y me costaron 70€ más 20€ de aranceles, lo que sumó un total de 90€. Sin embargo, cuando me llegaron, no me quedaban bien y si quisiera cambiarlos, tendría que pagar 50€ por la devolución, 6€ por el envío y otros 20€ de aranceles, lo que sumaría un total de 164€. Si hubiera comprado los mismos pantalones en un centro comercial, me habrían costado solo 81€.

En resumen, Shopbop puede parecer una buena opción para comprar ropa en línea, pero si vives en Europa, te recomiendo que busques otras opciones para evitar los costosos aranceles y las complicaciones para cambiar los productos.

Shopbop Shopbop's Terrible Customer Service: A Disappointing Experience

Terrible Customer Service

I recently purchased a Cleobella bag from Shopbop and it was the worst shopping experience of my life. I waited for a whole week without any email confirmation or explanation. When I finally received my bag, it looked like someone had used it before. I was so disappointed and immediately sent an email to complain and request a return. However, I had to wait a long time before receiving a response. When I finally did, I was told that I couldn't return the bag because I didn't comply with their Terms and Conditions. I don't understand how sending a complaint email means that I didn't comply with their terms. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I didn't bother asking again.

Thankfully, a friend recommended a new website called fsession.com and I was able to purchase a trendy bag within 3 days. I don't need to waste my time looking for reputable websites anymore because I have Fsession. Their customer service is amazing and I received my bag in perfect condition. I highly recommend Fsession to anyone looking for a hassle-free shopping experience.

Shopbop Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Delays: My Experience with Shopbop

I've been a loyal customer of Shopbop for years and have spent a ton of money on their site. However, my recent experiences have left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I ordered two items over two weeks ago and they still haven't shipped. I reached out to their customer service team via email and it took them four days to respond. When I called, I was told that the packers in the warehouse were too busy to ship my items and that they had no intention of doing so. This was after I was promised a shipping date by a representative the week before.

Shopbop promises 2-3 day delivery on their website, but this time they missed the mark. The estimated delivery date on my order was a week ago and my items still haven't shipped. When I asked the customer service representative to cancel my order, she told me that it would be difficult to do so. This is not the kind of service I expect from a company that I've spent so much money with.

I've had two bad experiences with Shopbop recently and it's enough to make me never want to shop with them again. It's a shame because I've always loved their selection of clothing and accessories. However, their poor customer service and inability to fulfill orders in a timely manner is unacceptable. As a consumer, I wish that US stores had the same protections as those in Australia. Buyer beware when shopping with Shopbop.

Shopbop Misleading Promo Codes and False Advertising: My Disappointing Experience with Shopbop

I recently tried to use the APP15 promo code on Shopbop's website for my first app purchase, but was informed that I had already made a purchase with them before. I received an email apologizing for the confusion and explaining why another code I tried to use didn't work. I responded to the email, letting them know that the code they referenced was not the one I was trying to use. However, I received a response from a different person stating that they do not honor that coupon for existing customers. This was very frustrating as it felt like false advertising.

When I finally received my order, I noticed that I was charged full price for the most expensive item, even though it was advertised as being on sale. I was disappointed that I didn't take a screenshot of the sale price, but I still attempted to communicate with Shopbop about the issue. However, I was told that they reviewed all purchases of that particular shoe during the sale and everyone paid full price. This did not explain anything and only confirmed that we all got screwed over.

Overall, my experience with Shopbop was not a good one. I usually shop at Revolve and I will be sticking with them from now on. Shopbop needs to learn from their mistakes and stop misleading their customers with false statements. It felt like a scam and I will not be shopping there again.

Shopbop Disappointing Shipping Experience with Shopbop and ECMS: Unreliable Delivery Dates and Poor Service Recovery

I recently made a purchase on Shopbop for some clothes to wear to a wedding event. At the time of checkout, Shopbop promised that my items would be delivered to me by August 30th, 2021. However, I was disappointed to find out that my items were not shipped via the usual DHL or FedEx, but through a different shipping provider called ECMS. As I read through other reviews online, it seems that ECMS is known for their inefficiency.

Despite my constant follow-ups with both Shopbop and ECMS, my items arrived many days late, long after my event. I was extremely disappointed with the poor service in terms of shipping and even more so with the appalling service recovery. As a loyal customer of Shopbop for over a decade, I expected better.

I requested that Shopbop cover the cost of return shipping since they failed to deliver on their estimated promise of express delivery. However, Shopbop refused to do so. This was very disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth.

In the past, I have always received my items promptly through DHL or FedEx. However, my recent experience with ECMS was disastrous. There were hardly any tracking updates and my items were stuck in transit for the longest time. I would not recommend Shopbop to anyone who needs their items within a short time frame. Their delivery dates at checkout are simply unreliable and their promise of 2-4 days' shipping is evidently a sham.

Overall, I am very disappointed with my recent experience with Shopbop. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and a better resolution to my issue.

Shopbop Stolen debit card and charges

I never shopped at this store but somehow they had my debit card number and made a fraudulent charge. I locked my card and they tried to make another charge on my card. Being I have never shopped there, I'm guessing they are in the business of stealing?

Shopbop customer services sucks!

I places an order 2 weeks ago, and Shopbop charged me immediately after the order confirmed. However, after that, nothing happens...The order said estimated delivery on Nov 30th, but it has not been shipped yet. I emailed to them 4 times, but no reply. Phone is always no response. Live chat is not available. As the order is not shipped, there's no refund or cancel option.

This is not the first time I use Shopbop, but definitely the last time.

Shopbop I want a refund

I received an order and it turned out it didn't fit me. The quality was ok, had nothing against it.
I called them to find out what exactly I had to do to return the item (you know, all companies have their own rules for this).
They said I had to ship it at my expense, but the shipping cost will be refunded then. And they also promised to notify me when they receive the package. Ok, that sounded great.
I did what was needed. Today is 5th of December, I shipped the dress 7 weeks ago. No one called me, no one emailed me. When I call them, they tell me different stories and it seems like the hide something. I don't know what's going on. The package status says it was delivered, so it means they received it, however, I wasn't notified. What the hell is this?

Shopbop terrible

I placed an order, waited for it to arrive for one month to open the box and realize you sent me wrong items?
I quickly emailed them about the mistake and they said they will refund only after I ship the items back. They were impolite and rude. I felt so awful when talking to me. Teach your staff how to talk to customers or you will lose your shady business. It already doesn't look trustful.
Moreover, this guy from the CS made a decision for me and simply canceled my order, even though I took some time to think. If you're so self-standing than maybe you will go to hell?

Shopbop They are nothing but scammers!

I bought two items from www.shopbop.com and had to return one item due to incorrect size. Customer service rep said that they were not able to send me a replacement and offered a refund and I agreed. That was better than nothing.
I paid for the return shipping and sent the incorrect item back. I waited patiently and I still am! It is now over a month and still no sign of my money! I can't contact anyone from customer service because they simply don't reply and I'm very unhappy with this situation. Shopbop is nothing but Chinese scam site, they should be out of business for scamming innocent people!

Shopbop I did not receive what I ordered

I was a first time customer and received the most terrible service you can imagine! Made an order and purchased a shirt from their store and received an incorrect order. Of course I contacted their customer service and asked for a replacement. Shopbop customer service rep asked me to provide pictures of the item and after they got the pictures they said they'll come back to me later. Four days later I received a message from Shopbop stating that my replacement request was denied. I wanted to know the reason and tried to reach them via phone. After I explained the purpose of my call I was put on hold for about 15 minutes and then they simply hung up. Horrible service! I will never buy anything from Shopbop again!

Shopbop I will not buy from this site!!

I have ordered a dress from www.shopbop.com and never got my order. I contacted customer service and I was hoping to get some help and support, but these people did not care about me and my issue. The worst thing was that they claimed that I did receive my order. They said that they received a notification that my order was successfully delivered. This was the worst experience ever! I wasn't able to prove them I was telling the truth and they did nothing to help me! I will not buy from this site ever again!

Shopbop The worst shopping experience in my life.

I purchased a bag from Shopbop. But I didn't received a confirmation email and they kept me waiting for it for the whole week. I was pretty nervous. Then I finally got a message from Shopbop and it was a relief, everything seemed to be fine. Few weeks later my bag arrived. But it was in horrible condition and looked used. I sent a message to complain and asked them to send me another one. Once again, there was no reply from them for a very long time. Finally, there was a message sent to me but I could not return that bag or get a new one. Why? Only because they said so. Yes, that was the last thing they said. And it was very rude. I know my rights as a customer and I know I can send them back that horrible bag within two weeks. But there is no point in doing that, because I will not get my money or a new bag. Awful customer service! That was the worst shopping experience in my life.

I KNEW IT! They are a huge scam and sham! Don't shop here folks, unless you want your money stolen from this sad excuse of a company! They don't care for their customers. Someone should boycott this company and tear it all down. Oh and take their disgusting, sad excuse of a customer service team and overpriced Made In China garbage along with them! BOYCOTT SHOPBOP!

KNEW IT! I knew this company is a huge SHAM AND SCAM! Stay away folks, unless you want your money STOLEN! Someone should boycott this company and send their idiotic employees to the dirt. Oh, and they can take their severely overpriced garbage (that no one buys except housewives and their trophy husbands) and shove it up their a$$. Shopbop sucks!

Shopbop No communication and order as well

I bought several items from the company All Sale Shop, but after I paid for the order with my Visa card, these ### stopped to communicate with me. Yes, they provided the identification number, but it was fake and showed nothing. It was impossible to contact them, and I have no idea what to do now. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
