I recently became curious about the balance in all of my cashback accounts including the one with ShopAtHome.com. ShopAtHome.com has not been the highest cashback provider for the online retailers I frequent, so I haven't made a qualified purchase through it for a long while. When I logged in yesterday, I shockingly realized that my account has been zero out and had no idea when the action took place.

I use multiple cashback portals. None of them zero out my dormant account without an advance notice in e-mail. I always got notified before they made further actions. I have earned over $ 5, 000 in cash back for the last 7 years, using 6 or 7 different cash back sites, so I know the rules and am always very careful.

Please, be careful too when using ShopAtHome as your cash back platform. I have experienced so many problems with them that I stopped using them as my go-to cash back site. Recently, they refused to credit my account for an order placed on Amazon.com. The reason they gave me makes no sense. The more I tried to explain why, the more they argued with me. I never experience any issue with Ebates.com for instance. I cannot possibly make mistakes only when I use ShopAtHome.

Another problem. I contacted ShopAtHome about cash back not being credited, and the customer service representative who dealt with my case/ticket kept arguing with me, spamming my inbox with more and more emails to make his/her point. I have never seen that before. This is highly unprofessional. So disrespectful!

ShopAtHome.com will payout on small purchases and then when you place a big order they will lie and fabricate any excuse to deny legitimate cashback. This happened 2 times. It was not my error, I am not new to cashback sites and I know how they work. They are just lying scammers who pocket your cashback for themselves and refuse to payout. These crooks should be in jail. There are more reliable cashback sites out there.

I used ShopAtHome website a few times and bought something from them, and I received nothing but empty promises. These guys never paid me anything. Do not believe them, they do not provide any cash back even if they say the opposite. ShopAtHome customer service is a real nightmare, spoke to these guys and they were very rude and customer unfriendly. They said that I have to be more patient, but how can I? It is over two months now and still no money! Recently when I called them they just dropped the phone! What a scam!

I do not recommend ShopAtHome to anyone, there are much better sites out there. When I contacted ShopAtHome and asked for a refund they said they don't have a PayPal cash back system so they'll send me a paper check.
Paper check in 21st century... Amazing.
Anyways waited for my check and never received it. First these guys tried to assure me I'll get it any time soon, but then they just stopped replying. Horrible service.

ShopAtHome is the worst cashback site I've used. Supposedly, they will send a check after 3 months of your transactions. The fact is the day before they were supposed to send me a check, they cancelled my account. I accumulated several hundreds of dollars in cashback over a few months, but they wiped everything off without even giving me a notice or explanation. Don't use them! I will file a complaint with bbb.org and strongly suggest that anyone who had the same problem do the same, so everyone knows this is a scam cashback site.
