I found a very nice deal for a pair of shoes at shoevery.com which costed at least 2 times less that similar pair in retail store. I decided to go for it and paid with paypal for my order. But after finishing checkout I didn’t receive any sort of confirmation and they’ve ignored my emails... I’m afraid I’ve got scammed.
Apparently this web site is bogus. I used Pay Pal, but that never
went through; I'll check my bank again. Must be bogus.

I am experiencing the same thing as the original poster. I placed an order at shoevery.com four days ago and haven't yet received any update or response to my own e-mail inquiry to them. After seeing the recent commenter who suggested contacting PayPal, I did so. PayPal told me that they will back up their service for customers who file a dispute (on-line or over the phone). I was informed that they will first contact the seller in an effort to complete the transaction, and if that doesn't work, they will offer a refund. Thank goodness they'll do this; it was because of their brand that I felt secure in placing the order to begin with.
Did you put in a dispute with Paypal for your money back?
