First the company offered to sell us unmarked buttons, marked with XXXX as indicated in the attached photo but we insisted that it must be the DS1923 type which can measure both humidity and temperature. They complied and we confirmed that we received the properly marked buttons on 16 December 2016.
We then tested the buttons with our software but unfortunately the buttons only measured temperature, not humidity. We replied back to Shenzhen Xiefengda Technology Co., Ltd and they then suggest that we should use Onewireviewer software to verify the type. They also indicated that they've tested the buttons before sending it to us. However, when we've tested the buttons with their suggested software it again showed that the buttons only measure temperature. The software also shows that the content of the buttons was a DS2422 type (see attached photo), while the shell has DS1923 printed on it.
We reported it back to the company who apologised and asked us to return the faulty buttons and promised to refund us as soon as we returned the buttons. We forwarded the buttons per registered post through Australia Post to their address: 13C, Block A, Duhui 100, Zhonghang Rd, Futian Dist, Shenzhen, China.

The company confirmed on 23 December 2016 that they have received confirmation that the parcel has arrived in China and that it was available to be collected from customs after clearance.
They requested our bank details into which they can pay the refund. After a number of exchanged messages to clarify bank details, they confirm on 12 January 2017 that the refund has been paid into our account and provided a screenshot of the payment advice. However, no money arrived in our account. After numerous messages and promises, still no refund had been paid into our account.
