SFL Nutrition review: Phone lines don't work 93

Review updated:

I ordered the free trial of Acaiberry and Total Cleanse on 10/16/08, and just received them today 10/30/08. I have been trying to call them for a week, and the phone would hang up on me. I thought it was a scam, and it probably is. I finally got through, but I have different numbers than what I seen on all the other complaints. The # for Acaiberry is [protected] and the # for Total Cleanse is [protected]. I just kept calling back to back to back, as soon as I hung up, I was calling right back. I finally got through to the phone ringing and talked to someone after being on hold for 20 minutes. I would suggest for everyone to do the same. They will charge your card after 14 days that your pills were shipped out, unless you get through to cancel. If you know anyone that has ordered, ya'll should be together and they will cancel the order in the same phone call, that's what myself and my cousin did. I was getting very upset, and was driving myself crazy. I hope this helps someone out!

I ordered the free-pay shipping only of $5.95 of the AcaiBerry Cleanse product. I began taking the product and had adverse reaction. Apparently, something in the product caused me to have severe abdomial cramps, and hives. I tried repeatly to contact the company at their [protected]. Finally, I was able to get through and cancel any future orders. However, yesterday December 10, 2008 I was charged for another order. This time it cost $94.57 and was directly charged to my checking account. Watch out, this is a problem that the company should resolve upon request, but they lose your request somehow?

I received sfl nutrition's socalled free sample two days ago, along with a letter stating that i have to call before tomorrow to cancel future shipments or be charged $88 every month. The phone number they included doesn't work!

On the internet, i have found hundreds of complaints from other consumers they have ripped ff.

I called information and this company is not listed, so i can't get a working phone number. How can i cancel this charge to my credit card ?

How can they get away with this fraud - - charging people for a product they tried to cancel but were unable to cancel because they made it impossible to contact them?

I too was duped by this company. Was charged shipping for the free trials for the acai berry and the colon cleanse. Then was charged $79.95 from acai berry - called and canceled without any problem. Refund was credited to my account within a week. Then was charged $78.84 from colon cleanse. When I called to cancel the customer service rep was quite rude and was only going to refund a portion. Then two other charges were made from fit-fac.com in the amount of $19.95 (had no idea who that company was). When I called to get that refund the customer svc rep said they weren't authorized and a supervsr would have to call me back but, of course, they didn't. So I called the fraud/loss dept at my bank. They called each of the companies (with me on the line) and the full refunds were processed immediately. Once I involved my bank, I no longer was given the run around and the refunds were issued - the rep's were even polite. Amazing, the difference in attitudes when there is a man on the phone with you saying he's from the fraud dept of the bank.

What a crock, I only have myself to blame though, stupid is as stupid does, lol.
I am returning the product by certified mail, and have stopped any further payment at the bank. All I can say is,
People {like me} want an easy fix for a problem that took years in the making, and their are no shortages in companies like these to take our money, and run, laughing all the way to the bank.
Lord help fools like me.

March 2010 - YES these ### ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! I too thought it was taken care of back in November 2008 after they were so nice after attempting to get through. They offered me my money back and everything. WELL I WAS WRONG! They have been bleeding my checking account since november 2008! And they never gave me my refund. I never noticed because I thought they were honest (Big Joke!) and I was extremely hurt at the time physically so I was no shape to be dealing with this crap. To make a long story short they are still ripping people off and they have been taking money out every single month for some BOGUS ONLINE MEMEBERSHIP! Here is a recent phone number for them [protected]. It changes monthly! look at your bank statements very carefully! It is under HUBHEALTHY, MYTRAINER, FITFACTORY, ETC... TOO MANY TO LIST! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SUED AND PUT OUT OF BUSINESS! The two original "Free Samples" are TOTAL CLEANSE AND ACAI BERRY 500. ...BUT BE WARNED THEY USE OTHER PRODUCTS AS WELL AND HAVE HUNDREDS OF DIFFERENT LABELS. They have taken around 1, 000.00 now from my account and I want to press charges and have these LOSERS put in jail! Stay tuned they will be in for a real treat soon. they f**ked with the wrong person.

They have stolen $283 dollars from my checking account! I just found a phone number and will try to call them. Please let me know if anyone has been able to file a complaint and with who.

I ordered due to the fact that it was approved by Dr Oz, Oprah, etc. so I thought if was reliable. NOT!

Thanks!

I agree completely that this is a scam. Ordered and received a "free"
sample and did not realize that I had to call to cancel the order to
avoid being charged for the "free" sample. So I see a charge of $78.84
on my credit card. Lo and behold I find a second charge of $78.84
plus shipping on my credit card. Then I receive the second bottle
of Colon xR.

When I called SFL about the charges, I was told that I had to cancel
within 15 days of the order date for the "free" sample in order to avoid
being charged per their terms and conditions. I saw no mention of
"terms and conditions" when I ordered the "free" sample.

I returned both bottles and received a credit of $59. When I called to
ask about this amount, I was told that there was a 30% restocking
charge on the second bottle and that no credit was due on the charge
for the "free" sample because I didn't cancel within the 15 days per
their "terms and conditions."

Verbatum from 2 bill:

"Trial Terms and Conditions

Upon receipt, you'll have 15 days from the date that the product was shipped, to evaluate and see the results for yourself. If you enjoy the formula, simply do nothing. You will be billed the super low price of $88.62 at the end of your 15-day trial period.

Note: The 15 day Trial period includes shipping and transit time."

Note: The poor and unclear language

Our shipment was sent 14Jan09
Our shipment arrived 22Jan09.

So half of the trial period was over before the product arrived.

It was a free trial? At $1.50/tablet?

The phone nrs listed did not work. Thanks to one commenter who listed [protected] I could reach "them" but I barely could understand them and they did not seem to understand or to be able to find our shipment. They wanted to have all our contact information (?) When asking for the manager they hung up!

SLF Nutrition LLC is NOT KNOWN to the bbb. That should be sufficient.

DISPUTE ALL CHARGES AT YOUR BANK. Call the number on the back of your card. The sooner these scammers are out of business the better.

I ordered the fee sample. I tried yesterday, two days after I received AcaiBerry to cancel when I realized they would be charging $100.00 a month to my account. You can not reach these people by phone, by email. They are impossible to reach. Finally I reach someone from overseas I cannot understand, she cannot understand me. She says she cannot find me in the system. She gives me another number. I reach someone else I cannot understand. We manage to communicate I have been charged $29.95 plus the $5.95 for some other program. I have not received. I don't know what he is talking about. My credit card company says all they can do is issue me a new card number. I believe that is what I will do. A very costly lesson.

Same here: fell for the scam. I reported both companies for fraud with my bank. The keep charging my credit card every week, no merchandise received. My bank changed my credit card number, so they won't be able to continue to charge. I tried to call and email these companies to no avail. They are probably somewhere in Nigeria, as most of these scams originate from there. I also hope people will find this board and not order.

I am having the same experience. I ordered The Acai Berry 500 and the Total Cleanse in mid November and I received only the Total Cleanse few days after that I am suppose to get charged. Immediately, I called to cancel but it is a dead line. I used the numbers that were given which was [protected] and [protected] they could not find my name anywhere. I asked them if SFL and colonMed500 was one of theirs and they said no. They continued to tell me that there is a company under investigation that is giving out their number. That freaked me out; then I called my bank to report it and I guess that I have to cancel my card because I have already told the bank not to authorize any company by the name of SFL or ColonMed 700.That way I cannot get charged. It is very scary I strongly believe that is a scam. As Soon as I received the product, the same day and few more days I kept calling with no answer .The ACAI POWER BERRY 500 trial is a joke. So be aware of TOTAL CLEANSE AND ACAI BERRY 500! You are signing up for way more than you are aware of. I have got charged 78.84 on 12/08/08 and 84.79 on 12/22/08 I never received the Acai Power Berry 500 . Every one I called could not locate my account. I will continue calling until I find some one, if not the board of commission, BBB and the authority have to know about such practice. I really hope this saves someone the days of anxiety and frustration that I experienced with those scammers.

I received this acaiberry stuff as well in November 2008, I have no idea how they got my info or cc info. My cc was charged 3 times now totalling over $200 dollars. I have been trying to call for a month now and I finally got through today and asked for the company name and they would not tell me, then put me on hold and I told them that I wanted my money back and they conveniently hung up on me. So I had no choice but to cancel my credit card. I have filed claims with my bank to get my money back so we will see. I am not sure who to contact to report this company because I really feel like this is a criminal act that they are doing and the authorities should be notified? Does anyone know who to contact? Should it be the police in Boca Raton, FL?

This is such a scam. I got no notice that I had to call to cancel anything. I sent for the sample, got it put it in drawer. Then today I get a package containing another bottle along with a statement that I have been charged 94.57. Tried to call # on statement several times always busy. Looked on line got another # called waited for several minutes in the meantime I went to their instant chat and waited for 12 people before me. Explained my problem and wanted refund. Nathan said I should have called. to cancel. Guesss I never saw that notice. I kept telling him I was not interested, he says he cancelled futher orders but I would not get a refund. Asked to speak to supervisor, he said one was not available. Finally the operator on the telephone came on and I explained the problem. After much bantering back and forth she gave me a RMA # to get a portion on my money back. We'll see! What a scam!

I should have known that this is a scam. I have had the same experience as all the above people. The number listed on my printout is [protected] which is registered to SFL Nutrition, LLC. which I had to pay to find out. I have sent a complaint in to the Better Business Bureau in Florida. I am totally disgusted to have to go through all this.

Common Criminals. I have already cancelled my card and filed disputes. I only received the free sample and one more shipment and there are 300 bucks in charges. I also am looking for suggestions to remedy this situation. I will post if I get anything actually resolved. I am mailing the sample back to the address in which is came from which is 127 NW 13th Street, Suite 4, Boca Raton, FL [protected].

I am looking for them and have found a lot of hints to find them.

Thank you.

I ordered AcaiBerry Supreme after seeing continuous ads on Facebook touting 'Oprah's Diet' and 'Rachel's Diet'. I figured $5.95 for shipping; what's to lose? You don't realize until AFTER you order that this will become a monthly charge of $80 unless you cancel within 14 days of receiving your 'free' bottle. I knew right away I'd been duped so I started calling the number provided on the website; [protected]. Trouble is the number never connected to a person or a machine. I called my credit card company and they said they couldn't dispute a charge until the charge went through. Fortunately, a search lead me hear. I can't thank you all enough for posting additional phone numbers for these cyber thieves. I ordered from AcaiBerry Supreme and finally got to the right customer service by calling [protected]. I only wish I had found this complaint board BEFORE I ordered! "It is sounds too good to be true, it is!"

I have just been through the same situation and called the numbers that the customer service supposedly provided above and guess what...I was told that the order number on my order belonged to someone else and I do not have an account with them and was given another number to call that was DISCONNECTED! So...I took care of this by calling my credit card company and letting them know and canceling my card so this company cannot charge me anymore. The credit card company said they would dispute this charge and penalize this company if they charged me again. That is one way to get around it but this is a total SCAM!

Wow, this company is a total ripoff. Ok, so I ordered the "free" bottle just like everyone else.

I called the number on their website just like everyone else and was unable to get a hold of anyone. I found this post and called many of the other numbers listed...no luck. Sometimes I would get a dead phone line, others was the recording to please wait while a representative was available (then the phone would go dead). Then there was "the number you have dialed ... has not been assigned yet...beeeeeeeeeeep."

The chat session - not mentioned at all on the website that I ordered from, nor on my invoice, or the copy of the terms and conditions I kept for myself...or the return policy, was THE ONLY way you were going to be able to cancel your order. I got Chasity...if that's her real name. She cancelled my order promptly. Like everyone else we'll see if I get charged anyway.

Like one other post, I was automatically enrolled in "VIP FIT." Luckily I was able to speak to them immediately. They were very nice and refunded my $29.00 without any dispute. They mentioned that I should have recieved an email about this automatic enrollment, and that it was mentioned on the products terms and conditions...I told her it wasn't and she was a bit puzzled but of course insistent that I must have been notified. Regardless, she didn't argue with me any further, and I wasn't going to argue with her since she was in the process of refunding my money anyway. I feel like an idiot for calling for something like this. This company should be shutdown immediately!

Thanks to everyone who posted. Without your recommendation, there's no way I would have been able to cancel my order. I would have had to take this directly to the credit card company to dispute.

I too have just been scammed. None of the telephone numbers even work for me. I am wondering how their add can use the logos of CBS NEWS, WebMD and MSNBC...it made me think these companies approved of this business and therefore it must be reliable. I have alerted my bank to cancel my card and plan to report this FRAUD to whomever I think might help. Newspapers, TV, radio...does anyone else have any suggestions?

THIS IS A SCAM...they will send you their product...I DOESN'T WORK! When you try to cancel at the pone# on their web-site, and on the order form it comes up This # is not activated. So now they have your credit card info, and will continue to charge your account for 78.84. I have filed a claim with my bank to get the money refunded, and I will also try to get any contact info I can from my bank. I will then file fraud charges against them, and repport them to on-line fraud.

If anyone has been able to contact them, please provide everyone with their contact info!

These companys are complete rip offs. I tried to cancel and was able to get through on the acia berry after an hour wait, the guy was a complete jerk and would not refund my money. I can't get through to them. The SFL Nutrition company's phone numbers do not work. I ended up canceling my credit card so I wouldn't be charged. What stinks is Yahoo and a ton of other sites carry their banners. I think they shouldn't carry banners for companys that are complete rip offs. I'll never buy stuff on line again.

I just went through the same thing. I did not see the "fine print" at the bottom of the order page, nor did I see anything about a trial period for the Total Cleanse that you were supposed to get for "free". When the insane charges came through on my bank account for both products, I went to the website and tried calling but no answer. NONE of their listed phone numbers worked. It wasn't even busy...it was just like...disconnected or something. I finally found a message board that gave me www.sflnutrition.com as a website to go to with a live chat. The woman I talked to said she cancelled my order and that there would be no further charges. I told her to let someone know that none of the phone numbers on that web site work. She said thanks and that they get lots of calls. Well...I wasn't getting a busy signal...so something is amiss. Also, if you read their "Terms & Conditions" and then their "Refund and Exchange" policies they contradict each other. One says you have 15 days to call, get an RMA number, and ship the product back in order not to be charged. The OTHER one says you just have to call to cancel, and that you won't be charged for the bottle. Very misleading and confusing and completely unprofessional.

I tried several times to reach the cancellation number at SFL Nutrition and received a "cannot be connected at this time" message. I returned the Total Cleanse product in the original envelope and changed my credit card number before any charges appeared from the company. My credit card company was very helpful and the number change prevented any additional charges. I wish I would have visited this site before I purchased the product. Maybe it is a good product, but the customer service is a scam.

I do not feel comfortable with this so called company having my credit card # and I can't call to get ahold of anyone there! I just went to sfl nutrition, llc homepage and clicked on " live chat " and the person that i spoke with assured me that my order was going to be cancelled and no further charges would apear on my card, however, they would not give me a confirmation # and I really do not feel good about this at all. I'm accually thinking of having my cc cancelled and have a new one issued. I'm also going to email, call, and notify in person EVERYONE that I know about this SCAM! I noticed a charge on my checking account in the amount of $78.84 from Total Cleanse. I had ordered the free bottle and that is all that I wanted. I called my bank to dispute the charge and they will not reverse the charge until I contact Total Cleanse. I cannot get through to Total Cleanse so I am stuck with having to pay a charge of $78.84 to someone who is a rip off! I don't know who is worse, my bank for not protecting their customers or scam artists like Total Cleanse who get away with ripping people off!

Thank you Total Cleanse and Wachovia Bank!

I had the same trouble getting through, but persitence finally paid off. I was able to speak to a lady named TaWanda, who cancelled my order, and said I would receive a confirmation email, which I have yet to receive. But just for grins and giggles, I contacted via live chat, as well. The wait on both fronts was long, but if I'm not charged again, I figure it was worth it. I was able to request a transcript of the live chat, which I did receive and save. I made sure to be kind to both of these ladies, because I figured they heard from a lot of irate customers, and they were courteous to me in return.

I tried calling 12 more times finally got thru and was on hold almost 35min.I told jason my story to cancelled any shipments as I didnt even want the free(right) trial but he said to keep it. He also asked my Why I was cancelling any further shipments and I said I was afraid of the product and the price they were charging for a product that NO ONE wants to use!Anyway I did get a confirmation email from the company that claims I will not recieve and further product but I am holding my breath to see. Well! Did the chat session with Bianca. Cancelled no problem. So, we'll see. I received an email stating the order is cancelled and printed the chat session from the window and received an emailed copy of the conversation. When asked why the numbers don't work, she said call volume was high. Go figure! So, definately go to ebizprogram.com, click contact us on the bottom of the screen, wait for the chat window, best way to get through! Good luck people! :)
